I thought the first part was going to be a one-off for sure, but a scene came
to me between Sano and Kaoru and I wanted to see where it would go...

THE BIRDS AND THE BEES | Pt.2

The sun was low in the sky when Yahiko and Sano let themselves into the courtyard
of the Kamiya dojo. Yahiko threw his day's catch down on the ground beside the
cistern and was about to run up the steps to his room when he heard Kaoru's
voice screech behind him: "Yahiko!! Don't just throw all this stuff down
for me to pick up! And look at all the mud you're about to track into the house!
Don't you have any sense?"

Yahiko clenched his fists in indignation and replied, "Oh....Kaoru! Stop
talking to me like I'm a little kid!"

Kaoru, returning his glare, said, "Hey, I have news for you--you ARE a
little kid. Until you give me a good reason to believe otherwise, that's what
you'll always be!"

"Hm, I'll have you know that I am a MAN, now, thank you very much!"
Yahiko crossed his arms against his chest in triumph, Sano's words from the
afternoon still ringing in his ears. Sano, sensing where this might be going,
raised a hand to stop him, but Yahiko continued, "I could stick my dick
in you right now and make you have a baby! Sano said so!" At this, Sano
could only cover his face with his hand and mutter, "Oh shit." Kaoru's
face, processing his statement, first registered surprise, then shock, then
anger, and finally SEISMIC anger.

"You wwwWWHHHHAAAAATTTTTT???!!!"

The walls of the dojo shook and the wooden plank sign hanging by the front
door fell off its hook to land on the ground with a thud.

When the red haze cleared from her vision, Yahiko was nowhere to be found and
Sano was halfway out the door. Moving witnshinshin-like speed, Kaoru grabbed
the tail of Sano's shirt and pulled him back into the courtyard.

"Would...you....mind...explaining...to me....what the...HELL that was
about?" Kaoru practically spat each word out and Sano could really see
the steam coming out of her ears.

Sano decided to reason with her and just come clean. "Well Kaoru, it's
a funny conversation we had this afternoon, the kid and I...heh heh...it seems
he's going through a 'passage of manhood' and was curious about where babies
came from so I had to tell him...see?" He offered her his best good behavior
smile, but gulped when he saw that her expression wasn't changing.

"And I'm supposed to be happy with the way you presented this information
to him? Where he tells a woman he's going to stick his...dick...into her? Just
where did he get that kind of language? Hmm, I wonder? There couldn't possibly
be a horny former figher-for-hire ruffian around here, could there?" Kaoru's
words, dripping with sarcasm, started to piss Sano off.

"Hey, wait a minute, Missie! I didn't teach him any words he didn't already
know! I busted my ass trying to give him the facts in a non-vulgar manner and
this is the thanks I get? I was the poor sap who just happened to be there--do
you think I WANTED to have that conversation with him? God, I would love to
hear what you would've said to the kid if you were in my place. He'd end up
thinking babies came out of trees! What do YOU know about where babies come
from, anyway? You're frickin' glued at the thighs and have probably never even
seen a dick!" Breathing hard, Sano glared right back at Kaoru, whose face
had now contorted into a mask of absolute livid anger.

"How dare you!" Kaoru screamed, and added for good measure: "Go
FUCK yourself!" She was immediately aghast at her outburst, but she kept
her fierce glare on him, refusing to back down. His eyes widened a little at
what she said, but soon a customary sardonic smile curved his lips and a well-muscled
arm shot out to pull her in against he rock-like chest.

"Not a bad idea, Missie, considering how long it's been." he retorted.
"But why don't you give me something to think about while I do that?"
Sano then pressed his lips firmly against her shocked mouth, stemming any more
scathing comments she would have made.

Eyes the size of saucers in her outrage, Kaoru struggled mightily against
Sano, but there was very little she could do, given that her arms were held
tightly against her body by his unyielding embrace. Worn out and fighting for
air, she could only slump against him as he continued his bold assault on her
lips. His tongue pushed past her clamped lips to explore the inside of her mouth,
and Kaoru felt a thrilled shiver travel down her spine, much to her horror.

She'd never been kissed like this before; the chaste dry pecks she'd received
from some of her father's students over the years didn't compare to this all-out
siege on her senses. She'd only been kissed by mere boys until now, boys with
no experience with women. She'd thought that the man who would finally kiss
her would be Kenshin, but he was always so maddeningly polite and reticent!
She didn't even know if he liked her IN THAT WAY. Whereas Sano...he certainly
was a man, and he definitely seemed to appreciate her IN THAT WAY. As his tongue
swirled around in her mouth and his lips sucked hers with a searing sensuality,
she melted against him.

Sano had intended the kiss to be a humiliating punishment at first, but he
was finding himself getting dangerously lost in the taste and feel of her. It
had been a while for him and he could feel his body reacting predictably to
the proximity of a desirable female. When he felt her body soften against his,
he knew he should stop right then, but his hands, ignoring his brain's command,
went up to untie the bow in her hair and bury themselves in the ensuing cascade
of jet silk. Kaoru, caught up in the passion he ignited in her, moaned and rose
up on her toes to lock her arms around his neck.

Oh god, Missie, what are you doing? Sano frantically thought as he felt her arms go around his neck. He could feel her firm little breasts pressing against
his chest and felt a surge in his groin. Oh no, this is not good, not good...
Oh god, she felt so good. Sano, let go of her, let go of her now, you horny
bastard...

Pushing her away from him, Sano backed up, gasping for air like a man overboard.
Shocked and breathless from what had just transpired between them, they could
only stare into each other's startled eyes. Sano knew it had gone too far, but
didn't know what to say to make everything the way it was.

Swallowing hard, he managed, "Er...I think I need to go home now. Sorry,
Kaoru." And he fled out the front door.

Kaoru, still in a state of shock, asked herself, "What the hell just happened?"

Hmm, could Kaoru be falling for Sano? How will this affect things between Kenshin
& Kaoru? I'll have to think about this...
