  It was a simple idea, and as so,
  Shinji decided that it wouldn't be hard to implement. He had found a spell in
  the book that would allow him to make a person into a way that would 'keep them
  cute and perky' while 'giving them great strength to protect themselves'. That
  sounded like not too bad a concept, and something that he could work with.

  
  
  

  Which was why he had set up alll the ingrediants
  that he would need on the table. At the center of it was the crucible that he
  would use to combine them while chanting the words. If all went well, he would
  be certain that they would at least be safe, if not normal. But it would take a
  bit of delicacy that would allow for only a tiny variation if necessary.

  
  
  

  "Just what do you think you're doing?"
  asked a very familar voice.

  
  
  

  The Third Child looked up and cringed at the sight
  of Asuka smirking at him. "Uh... hi?"

  
  
  

  "'Hi'? Is that all you have to say to me after
  a whole night away? But it looks like you've been keeping yourself busy with
  playing 'black magician'."

  
  
  

  "Um... It's not like that..."

  
  
  

  The redhead bent over the table and raised an
  eyebrow. "Why don't you tell me then?"

  
  
  

  "I don't think so..."

  
  
  

  "Just tell me already!" barked Asuka as
  she slammed her palm onto the surface of the table. That sent the table shaking a
  little, which was just enough to spill the contents of the spell brew onto the
  back of her hand. "Yowtch!"

  
  
  

  "Are you okay?"

  
  
  

  "Of course not idiot!" she said as she
  cradled the injured hand in the other one, "I just... unnnn..."

  
  
  

  At the sudden glassy stare in his fellow pilot's
  eyes, Shinji reached towards her and grasped an arm. "Asuka!"

  
  
  

  "Shinji, I.... AHHHHHH!!!"

  
  
  

  There was a flare of light that forced him to
  stumble back in surprise with an arm over his eyes. As it faded, he lowered his
  arm and tried to see what had happened to the girl. He could tell that she was
  still alive and that mad a bit of anxiety go away.

  
  
  

  That same feeling came back when she stood up and
  he got a good look at what had happened. The spell had worked after all, and it had done as promised. After all,

  Shinji's eyes boggled at the sight of Asuka's new
  appearance. Reddish cat ears and a tail had sprouted of hof his roommate's
  body(sending her EVA interface links on the floor). Her pupils were now slitted
  like those of a feline and cute-looking fangs were visible in her mouth.

  
  
  

  And let's not forget that Asuka's bust and overall
  figure went from beautiful fourteen years old to teenage supermodel. Her
  clothes were obviously strained and Shinji couldn't help but stare. He blushed
  and was kind of excited, looking at Asuka who was moving bouncily in panic, her
  hands roaming over her new body to assess the changes.

  
  
  

  Suddenly, she stopped and fixed her gaze on him.
  Then she began to approach, an unreadable look on her face. Shinji sweatdropped
  and backed away, fearing what her reaction was going to be.

  
  
  

  Sohryu Asuka Langley, Second Children and now a
  typical Anime catgirl, smiled cattily (it was easy for her now) and pounced on
