Chapter 17 Her Name is Evangeline

The culprit stands ten meters away from Negi looking at him. She takes off her big hat and shakes her long blond hair.

“You’re…you…” Negi is stammering in shock and surprise. “You’re from my class. Evangeline!”

“Negi-kun, what happened?” Konoka and Asuna come running. They were worried for Nodoka when she didn’t come home with the others. After what happened to Makie nobody should walk alone so they went looking for her.

The robot quickly walks over to Negi and grabs him. “It’s my master’s order,” she says.

If I hadn’t come you might have been…” She’s on the verge of tears but stops it when she sees the wound on his neck. “Hey, you’re bleeding, are you ok? Try to stand up.” She helps him up on his feet and he embraces her. “Yes, I’m glad to see you too,” she says, “but you don’t need to hold me so hard. You are really not ok are you? But Negi just mumbles and acts like a sleepwalker.
