Chapter 2: Giving in
Chapter 2:
Giving in
Vicious circled the girl slowly running a finger around her neck. The girl said and did nothing, her back was straight from many years of practice and her head up proud. He bent down close to the girls ear, grinning wickedly.
“A lovely flower soon snatched away. To bloom in realms divine; thousands will wish, at Judgment Day, that their lives were as short” he paused looking at the girl for the rest.
“as mine” she whispered as his hand tightened around her neck. She closed her eyes. He grinned kneeling beside her.
“Judgment Day is near but I want you there” he said releasing her “so why is this girl you are looking for so important that you would disobey me and go off as if I was a normal boss and would just fire you away as nothing?”
The girl looked off to the side, Vicious pulled her chin up to his with a tightening grip. The girl looked up at Vicious and pulled away. He over turned the desk next to them. The girl didn’t flinch.
“Julia it is a simple question just answer” he said pulling her up and slammed her up against a glass window it cracked slightly with his force. He held her up by a jean coat she wore, under it was a black and gold shirt and a jean skirt with black saddles. Her feet were a couple of inches off the ground.
“She was my best friends before I was hurt. She was in a accident 4 years later and was also frozen. After I awoke 8 years ago she was still frozen but I did not remember. A little while ago I remembered most of everything and went to find some people who knew anything and they told me of my friend she had found them a year before. I have been looking for her since” the girl looked straight into Vicious eyes “I saw her that’s why I left. She hadn’t remembered me. I didn’t want to remind her, she had a better life.”
He grinned “so are you finally ready to leave everything behind” he asked “now that everything’s left you behind.” Vicious dropped Julia, she fell onto her feet then knees. Vicious walked to the over turned desk. Julia stood walking to Vicious.
“Yes” she said. Vicious grinned walking back to the girl, Julia, with papers. She looked down at them then up at Vicious.
“The next target” he said leading her to the door “when you are done come back and we will discuss moving up and leave your past for good.”
Faye laid thinking about the girl. Who was she? Spike walked in eating noodles. He sat down opposite of Faye.
“Still on about that girl” he asked. Faye said nothing for a while then sat up suddenly. Spike watched still eating. Faye ran out then ran back in. She rushed around then saw Spike and a smile appeared.
“Oh Spike” she said. Spike watched her curiously moving to get up. Faye grabbed Spikes food and ran around the couch.
“What are you doing? Give me my food back” he said running around to grab Faye. She jumped over the couch. He grabbed her around the waist and yanked her back. They both fell over the couch; the noodles all over Spikes face. Faye started laughing. Jet walked in.
He stopped seeing Spike on the ground noodles on his face and Faye sitting on him. Shaking his head he turned and left trying to forget the picture that would haunt him for life.
