Chapter 2
“Gad damned you're heavy for such a skinny thing,” Soshi grumbled. The walk was a lot harder when you were carrying dead weight in your hands. Sanzo seemed to be a little conscious. Every once in a while he murmured and shifted in Soshi's arms. When he did love bloomed in Soshi's body, but his reasonable mind told him those feelings were only drug inspired.
Still, the man was captivating and Soshi didn't wonder why its was his friends had been spellbound. He tittered to himself- 'Tonight I nailed not just a Sanzo priest, but the Gengyo Sanzo himself.” Despite the weight and his aching arms, Soshi couldn't help but smile. He'd be strutting if he wasn't carrying his prize.
“Gojyo, eh?” he said. “Too bad you used that name, I might not have figured it out if you hadn't.” Soshi made the effort to bring Sanzo's face up high enough for him to kiss. Purple eyes with heavy lashes fluttered open for a moment, a slight smile crossed his lips and then they closed again. Beautiful.
When he got to his door it was all he could do to maneuver Sanzo onto one leg and one arm to have a free hand to wrap sharply on his door. It was late and his roommate would not appreciate being roused. No matter how he complained, he never failed to let Soshi in if he was either too occupied or to drunk to work the lock.
Sandi opened up and took in the sight. Through a heavy fall of dark blond hair, the man blinked uncomprehendingly. Soshi gave him a moment to get his bearings. He was always like this at this hour.
“What the fuck, Soshi, who the hell is that?” He sounded very tired.
Soshi propped Sanzo up into a sitting position against his knee and smilingly proclaimed, “This is none other than Gengyo Sanzo.”
Sandi screwed his face up, still half asleep and none too pleased. “Bullshit.”
With infinite care Soshi brushed Sanzo's bangs back from his forehead and pointed at the crimson chakra. “See? It's really him”
“I still say bullshit- rub it and see if it comes off.”
Soshi's face fell. “You have no faith, man.”
“With you? Of coarse not!”
“Just let me in, you bastard.”
Sandi stepped aside and allowed Soshi to drag Sanzo into the apartment. He rolled his eyes and locked the door.
“Okay,” he said as he turned to Soshi, “I have to say this takes the cake. You come in here again, at this ungodly hour and now you tell me you're bringing in Gengyo Sanzo the demon slayer. Why the hell would you be bringing him home? How the hell did he ever get you to swallow that line? And what the hell is wrong with him? What did you do to him? He's comatose.”
Soshi blinked at his roommate. “Nothing! I gave him some ex. How was I to know it would knock him out?”
“Maybe you should have carried him to a hospital.”
“Naaw, he's fine, see?” Soshi laid Sanzo across the kitchen table. Sanzo murmured and moved, his hand coming up briefly before sraping across his chest. “See? He's just way too drunk.”
“You still haven't told me how he got you to believe he's a Sanzo.”
“He didn't. He lied about it. He told me he was Gojyo.”
Sandi's head wiped around, “NO!”
Soshi grinned, “Yup!”
Sandi stood over Sanzo and examined him. He actually ran his thumb over the chakra. “You really think its him?”
“Look at him! You know how Gojyo described him. He's every bit as cranky as Gojyo said, if not more so. He's every bit as pretty too.”
Sandi glared at Soshi, “Whats to say he won't wake up and kill us in our sleep?”
Soshi laughed. “How can you say such things about my sweety?”
“What?”
“I think I'm in love with him!”
“You say that about everybody when you're on ex.”
“But I really believe it about this one!”
“Soshi, please....”
Sandi sounded exasperated.
“I nailed him right in Demon's Landing. Right in front of the whole place. I made a bet with Hulk and he didn't think I could do it.”
“I don't know why I put up with you. You're not worth the rent you pay. So you're telling me in one night you single handedly drugged this guy, and destroyed his reputation in front of the whole bar.”
Soshi look crestfallen. “You make it sound awful.”
“It is awful! Now he's going to fuck the both of us up! What the hell happened to his neck?” Sandi dropped onto his bed and went into brood mode. Soshi knew that Sandi was going to stick it to him for this one for a while.
“No, he's my lover now. Everyone knows it.”
“That everyone knows it is why he's going to be pissed. You know his reputation! He just might kill us and nobody is going to ever question it!”
“You're blowing this out of proportion.”
“You just told me you deflowered him in front of an audience. I know how you are Soshi.”
“Feh,” Soshi swore, “Trust me, I didn't deflower nothing! This guy was not a virgin. I think everything Gojyo said about him was true. Besides, he told me he only does demons.”
Sandi eyed him. “Damn it Soshi, I'm going back to sleep. When he kills you, you better hope he doesn't take me with you!”
Soshi looked down at the beauty on his table. He was startled to see his eyes open and he looked like he'd been listening to the whole conversation. Soshi swallowed hard and reached down to touch Sanzo's face. The purple eyes slid up to him and locked on his own. They seemed just a little unfocused and Soshi sighed in relief. Most likely he hadn't really heard them talking. Soshi made a little mental note to be more careful with half conscious Sanzos.
When Soshi caressed him, he reacted. He was coming back. Sandi watched Soshi lean over the man. He watched him run his finger tips along the elegant, if bruised neck.
“God damned it,” Sandi cursed. “You're gonna do him again, aren't you?”
Soshi grinned at his friend. “I wouldn't have to if you'd let me touch you.”
“I thought you were in love.”
“I am.”
Soshi had never fastened Sanzo's jeans up all the way. It took little to pull the zipper apart. It took a little more effort to shuck his pants off of him; they really were pretty tight. Next, he pulled the top off and Sanzo lay brilliantly naked beneath him.
“You're gonna disinfect that table before breakfast, right?”
“You just don't have any appreciation for the male form, do you Sandi?”
Sandi huffed but said no more. Soshi bent to bring his lips to Sanzo's. When he kissed them, Sanzo kissed back. Pale legs came up to wrap about Soshi's waist. His arms came up to encircle Soshi's neck.
“Are you awake, sweety?”
“Who? Who are?” Sanzo moaned. Soshi sniffed.
“Its me, Soshi.”
“Soshi...” Sanzo murmured the name. A thrill ran through Soshi at the sound of his name on the priest's lips.
Soshi ran his hand down along the curve of Sanzo's bottom. The man arched and wriggled a little. Sweet.
Sandi shook his head, but didn't stop watching.
Soshi looked up at him. “Hey, throw me the condoms.”
The box hit Soshi squarely in the temple, hard. “I meant throw them to me, not at me!”
“Serves you right.”
Soshi grumbled a curse at his friend. Then he turned his attention back to Sanzo. With nothing but moon light to illuminate his face, his eyes were luminescent. His lips were parted slightly. Soshi sighed. He had a face that could make angels weep.
Soshi leaned down and ran his hands into the blond's hair. He ran his finger tips along the hair line and kissed the chakra. Purple eyes blinked up at him.
When Soshi ran his fingers along Sanzo's lips, he opened his mouth and Soshi could put his fingers inside. The whole thing felt different without the beating music and garish lighting. With no pink neon, Sanzo's face was a pale moon in the darkness.
Sandi watched them all, desperately trying to look bored. Soshi knew that if he had been bored, he'd have gone back to sleep by now. He usually ignored Soshi's past time activities.
Sandi couldn't take his eyes off the pair. He watched Soshi pull the long legs up over his shoulder. He watched his friend pull the man to the edge of the table and enter him. Sanzo moaned and repeated Soshi's name. For the first time Sandi took notice of Sanzo's voice. He somehow had not expected such a deep and sensuous sound.
“He sounds wonderful, doesn't he?” Soshi said, moving inside of him. Sanzo murmured, his head rocked side to side, his hand moved to grasp his own sex. Sandi found himself moaning along with him and had to bite his tongue. When Sanzo started to sit up, Soshi bent one arm around the small of his back to support him. Sanzo kissed Soshi, and Soshi opened his mouth to let him in.
“How the hell can he kiss like that and still keep his rhythm?” Sandi thought. No matter how Sanzo moved, Soshi never missed a beat. He moved slowly, languidly and steadily. He was taking his time, enjoying Sanzo while he had him.
Sandi rolled over and stared at the wall. He really wasn't in the mood to be turned on, and he didn't want to falter in his resolve to avoid becoming Soshi's bed partner. He'd worked too hard to keep his distance and fight his own jealousies. He doubted he was going to ever get a taste of the blond any way.
He squeezed his eyes shut when he heard said blond coming, and shortly after, the more familiar sounds of Soshi.
Sandi could not help but peek when Soshi lifted Sanzo from the table and carried him over to his bed on the other side of the apartment.
“You're keeping him the night?”
“What the hell else do you want me to do? I can't stick him out on the porch and he sure as hell isn't going to walk home now.”
“Feh.”
“Yeah, screw you too.”
“Yeah right.”
“Whatever.”
Soshi watched Sanzo's profile from his pillow. The man was fast asleep within minutes of being placed in the bed. He looked peaceful, angelic in repose. The thick lashes rested against his cheek. Soshi smiled. He couldn't have asked for better. He, Soshi, was putting a claim on the Great Gengyo Sanzo.
This is a short one- enjoy! (There's much more to come and feel free to tell me if you have any ideas as to where you'de like to see this go!) Review!
