Chapter Two

The Plan went off without a hitch. The four entered the Hellsing mansion along with the horde of ghouls. As the ghouls spread through the mansion the four split up to take care of their separate missions. When the ghouls started to fall to the Hellsing forces the four quickly made their exit unseen with the items they were sent to obtain

Weeks later the Hellsing manor was cleaned and repaired. Walter was pacing in front of Integra Hellsing’s large desk, the cigar fell from her lips as he informed her of what was missing.

“You mean they took....,” she couldn’t finish as a frown formed on her face. “That’s just insane ...blood. Why would they take blood? They can do nothing with it”

“I wish I knew Miss Integra. Maybe they wish to wake the poor creature?”

“You Know that is impossible Walter, without my blood no one can enter that room,” She stated smashing her new cigar into the ashtray after taking three puffs.

As the sunset the last of the blood was poured into the large bathtub, towels were laid out and candles were lite. The black marble in the bathroom gleamed and all was ready.

“It’s full sir”

“Good now go tell Anderson it is finally time”

“As you wish sir. Um ....but Mr. Maxwell are you sure this is safe?”

“Do you think me foolish enough to put this organization in that kind of situation” he smirked as the servant walked out closing the door, blocking out the small laugh from Maxwell.

Within a few minutes Anderson entered the bathroom carrying a white-haired figure, looking to be sleeping except for the black straight jacket and pants full of chains and buckles.

“Ah be callin’ ye when ah’m finish here Maxwell,” his green eyes never leaving the angelic face of the figure he held almost tenderly. Maxwell lost the smirk as he looked at the back of Anderson’s white dress shirt.

“You do that,” he spoke though clenched teeth as he left.

Once alone Anderson stared in the tub watching as the full moon was reflected clearly in the red liquid. He sighed moving toward it, he looked sadly at the figure in his arms before submerging it into the red liquid. He watch carefully as it sunk as if being swallowed up, till the moon once again reflected in the calm surface.

For the longest time nothing happened as he leaned against the wall to read his bible. Several pages later a noise drew his attention to the tub, his eye’s widen.

Back at Hellsing:

“But didn’t you say one of those FREAKS cut you?” Walter questioned

“Yes, why do you ask you know this?”

“They would not need much”

“Why would FREAKS even bother Walter? That creature would be mad by now ,only worthy of death,” she half yelled banging her fist on the desk. Walter sighed knowing the conversation was over than he took his leave. For the life of him he couldn’t understand why his mistress found it hard to believe that the vampire might have been innocent of the crimes they accused it of.

After Walter left Integra looked at her still healing hand wounds.

‘Could it be possible?’

‘Was it that creature they were after all a long?’

‘But why?’ Integra sighed raising from her desk, she stared out the window sighing again. “It’s been ten years why now?...,” for weeks Integra has been trying to figure out which group of their enemies had dared attack the Hellsing compound?

The strangest thing was that as soon as the attack started it stopped. The ghouls made easy targets as if they were being used just to distract their forces. But after the clean up only thing found missing was the twenty or so blood packets they had drained from the Vampire before locking it up.

Nothing seem to make any sense anymore, but for now she was tried and didn’t want to think about it anymore. With another sigh she made her way to her room for the night.

Sub-basement of Hellsing Manor:

“Do you really believe that is what they attack this place?”

“It would seem so”

“And what lead you to this conclusion?”

“One the blood is missing. Two only Integra was injured but not severely only enough to draw blood. The third I can not be sure of because she has forbidden anyone from checking to see if the body is still there”

“I see, And what would you have me do?”

“You are the only one who can enter and leave a place without anyone seeing you”

“You know I can not enter the room?”

“I only wish to know if the seal is still holding. I’ve already betrayed one I called a friend before. I want have anything else happen to them”

“(sigh) you forget, they were also my friend as well”

“To me your relationship was stronger than friendship but who am I to question you. Will you do this?”

“You know I can’t deny you”
