Anekin sighed softly as Master Thaylen led him into his home. The ride from Master Iason’s penthouse had been quiet. Thaylen had put him in the backseat of his vehicle, buckled him in place, then gone to sit in the front with his driver. The glass between the front and back had kept Anekin isolated. He could see his master talk with the driver – was fairly sure they laughed, but had no idea what was being said.
So, he watched the lights of Midas as they drove on. And then watched them disappear. He wondered where they were going. But there was no way to ask, and, at some point – in the dark, lulled by the purr of the engine, he fell asleep. Thaylen shook his shoulder to wake him. “Wake up, boy. We’re home.”
Anekin blinked his eyes several times, startled and afraid. “Yes, Master. I’m sorry, Master.”
Anekin heard the driver laugh. “Looks like you got a submissive one, Reis.”
Anekin did not lift his head as he followed Master Thaylen, but he heard his master’s voice. “All pets are submissive, Derik. Nothing unusual about this one. Just park the damn car and come to bed.”
Anekin almost turned his head to look at Derik but Lord Thaylen shoved him through the door. Lights came on automatically, illuminating a rich red marble floor, walls of beautiful shining wood. But he had little time to look. The master had gripped his arm and was leading him down a hallway – this one covered in deep green carpet, plush and soft. Then Thaylen opened a door and shoved him into a room. Anekin kept his head bowed, not daring to lift it in his Master’s presence. “This is your room,” Thaylen was saying. “There’s an attached bathroom. Don’t try to come out until I send for you.”
The door was closed and Thaylen was gone before Anekin could say a word. But with the master gone, the pet lifted his head and looked around. The room was small and bare. White walls, white tiled floor. No windows. A closet, a bed, a chest of drawers, a small table. Not nearly as nice as his room at Iason’s penthouse. But much better than his quarters with Festus. This was at least clean and had a pleasant smell.
Anekin opened the door Thaylen had indicated and found the bathroom. Very small. But sufficient. A toilet, a shower, a sink and a mirror. A basket of towels.
Anekin returned to the bedroom and looked in the closet. No clothes, but hangers to hold what he was wearing. He stripped and hung his clothes. The temperature was comfortable. Anekin thought he would not be cold if he was to be kept naked in this place.
He went back in the bathroom, carefully unraveling his hair and looking at the green ribbons. He stroked them like something precious and thought of Remy. So excited to dress him and fix his hair. Tears came to his eyes. He would miss Remy. And Flick and Riki. Even Daryl and Iason.
But this was his new home. And he knew he should be grateful to be here – rather than in a brothel. Available to anyone with the money to buy him for an hour or two.
Still, he could not stop the tears. And when he was in the shower, he allowed them to fall freely. He sobbed out his despair – his loss of his friends, his fear of all the things he did not understand.
At least when he went to bed, he was exhausted and fell asleep quickly.
~~
Reis was waiting in his bedroom, sprawled across his bed, when Derik entered the room. The sight of him always took Derik’s breath away. And tonight was no different. Thaylen was almost as tall as a Blondie. But the resemblance stopped there. He was heavily muscled, way more than was in vogue. There was no gentle rippling of his muscles – indeed, they seemed to thunder beneath his deeply tanned skin. And the hair on his chest was thick and long. Derik felt his cock twitch and his eyes shifted to the space between Reis’ legs.
Reis was ready for him, his own erection jutting proudly from the thick nest of red curls. Derik lifted his head again and smiled. “Oh, my, Lord Thaylen, did that little pet really excite you so much?”
Reis smiled in return. “Get over here. I’ll show you.”
~
When they were done, Derik was aching – and knew he’d be sore for days to come. But he smiled happily as Reis stroked his back. It had been worth it. Reis always made his rough treatment worthwhile. “So who’s going to drive for you this next week?”
Thaylen chuckled. “I’ll get you a special pillow.”
Derik pulled Reis’ down and they kissed again. “Now, tell me how the little blue-haired pet got you so hot.”
Reis leaned back in his pillows. “It wasn’t just the little slut. Mink was amazing. He kept looking for Raoul Am, but the esteemed scientist never showed. And the funniest part,” Reis smiled, “is how sure he is of my loyalty. The little pet is supposed to express his appreciation.”
Derik lifted his head from Reis’ stomach. “Does Mink really know so little about you?”
“All he knows is that I’m an Elite of good blood. That my family predates Jupiter’s absolute control. But he thinks my family’s wealth is long gone and that I’m powerless.”
Derik laughed and laid his head back. “Be careful, Reis. Don’t ever underestimate the Blondies. And especially Mink. He may not know you, but if you give him an excuse to look, he can surely find out.”
Thaylen ran his fingers through Derik’s dark hair. “I’ve hidden my wealth, Derik. And my connections. But I’ll never give Mink any reason to suspect me. I’m not a fool.”
Derik snuggled closer. “I know, my love. But don’t be so confident that you cease to be careful.”
~~
Derik and Reis slept late, and when they did get up, they wanted only to eat and then play tennis. It was mid-afternoon before the match ended – and both men were exhausted. “Mongrel,” Reis called out. “Don’t you know you’re never supposed to defeat a citizen?”
Derik only snorted. “You didn’t think I was a mongrel last night.” He walked to the bar and brought both of them a glass of wine.
Reis was laughing. “That was just because that little pet got me so hot.”
“Maybe – but I was the one who got you off. And it’s my ass that’s aching.”
Reis stared at Derik and then groaned. “Oh, shit. I forgot about him. He’s still in that little room.”
“Won’t the servants look after him?”
Reis sat on a stool. “I didn’t tell anybody.”
“Shit.” Derik looked back toward the house. “At least you can sit.”
Reis shook his head, and threw an arm around Derik’s shoulder. “Come on. Let’s go see if he’s still alive.”
“How about you tell me his name before I meet him?”
“He’s mine now – his name is whatever I want to call him. I’m thinking Blue.”
Derik looked at Reis strangely. “That’s not funny. You’re sounding like a fucking aristocrat. Leave the boy his name.”
“You’re just thinking like a mongrel.”
Derik stopped in his tracks and turned on Thaylen. “As you’ve expressed so kindly this morning, I am a mongrel. And until now, you seem to have recognized that I’m human, too.” His voice lowered. “Please, Reis, don’t lose your humanity now.”
Thaylen met Derik’s eyes – and softened at his sadness. “Alright, my friend. For you.” He kissed Derik’s forehead. “The boy’s name is Anekin.”
“Thank you.”
~~
When Reis unlocked the door and opened it, Anekin was sitting on the bed, naked, though he stood quickly, sank to his knees and bowed his head to the floor.
“What the fuck?” Derik asked. “I thought you said he was a pet, not a damn slave.”
“What about it, Anekin?” Thaylen asked. “What are you?”
Anekin’s voice trembled and his body shook. “I am whatever you want me to be, Master.”
Thaylen turned to Derik. “See? Submissive as you’d want.” He looked at Anekin again, noticing the blue hair spread across the floor. “Besides, what is a pet but a pretty slave?”
Derik squatted by the boy. “Sit up. Let me see your face.”
Brilliant blue eyes met Derik’s. “Are you my master, too?” Anekin whispered.
“No,” Derik replied softly.
But Thaylen objected immediately. “Yes, you are. This is Master Derik, Anekin. You will obey him just like you do me.”
“Yes, Master,” Derik said, glancing first at Thaylen, and then bowing his head to Derik.
“Good. That’s settled. Derik will show you around this afternoon. I have business to attend.”
Derik rose to his feet. “Don’t you need me to drive you?”
“Not today.” Reis grinned. “Besides, I didn’t get your pillow yet.”
“I don’t need a pillow and you damn well know it.”
Thaylen leaned forward and kissed Derik to take the sting from his words. “I really do have business, Derik – and you can’t come. I’ll see you tonight.” And with that he was gone.
“Yeah,” Derik muttered. “Business where you can’t be seen with a mongrel.” He looked back to Anekin who was staring at the floor. “Get up, boy. Get dressed.” Anekin rose at once and went to the closet to pull out his sheer trousers. “Not that,” Derik growled. “You’re not playing the slut today. Pick something that covers you.”
Anekin hesitated. “I have no other clothes, Master.” His face had tinted pink, his lips were trembling
Derik went to the chest and started opening drawers. Empty. Except for some little green ribbons. “Shit.” He looked at Anekin. “Didn’t Reis know you were coming?”
Anekin’s whole body was shaking now. “Who is Reis, sir?”
Derik rolled his eyes. “Your master, you little shit. Reison Thaylen.”
“I’m sorry, sir. I didn’t know.” Anekin swallowed a sob. His voice was hardly understandable. “Master Iason told me several days ago I was being given to Master Thaylen, sir. I… I thought the master knew, too.”
Derik frowned at the boy. “Why would anyone want such a sniveling, whining little shit?”
Anekin fell to his knees and bent his head to the floor. “I’m sorry, Master. I’m sorry.”
At least for a moment, Derik felt pity. “Stop the sniveling. Wash your face. I’ll find you something to wear.”
~~
Derik sat on the toilet and watched Anekin shower. The little pet was not aware of him yet. His eyes were closed as he washed his hair. Derik could admit he was pretty. But frail and delicate. Helpless. Not the sort who had ever appealed to him. Certainly not what appealed to Reis.
But there was something about him. Maybe his hair. Not that Derik hadn’t seen his share of blue hair. On pets and even on some of the Elites. But Anekin’s was very pale. And his eyebrows set off the deep blue of his eyes. The boy had spotted him now and was looking down as he washed his body. Derik noticed the hair on his groin. A little darker than that on his head and tightly curled. He was not hugely endowed like most of the specially bred pets. But definitely a shapely little cock and balls. And a cock ring. A pet ring. The boy’s genitals would look good bound. Tightly and painfully. Reis had mentioned ribbons, but Derik thought he would prefer leather. Maybe chains with little spikes. His mind had wandered. He was startled when Anekin stood before him.
The pet was looking at the floor. He had only trembling slightly. “Please forgive me, Master Derik. You… you said you would give me clothes, sir.” He went silent and Derik said nothing – only looked at the smooth chest and the perky little pink nipples. “I don’t need them, sir, if you changed your mind.” The words tumbled out of Anekin’s shapely mouth. “I’m used to being naked, Master.”
“No, I brought you clothing.” Derik stood and motioned Anekin to precede him. And admired the pale rounded buttocks.
