Chapter Two: Meet the Cyborgs

The cyborgs looked at the girl who was lying on the ground in complete shock.

�Great so now what do we do with her?� 002, a teenaged boy, with a long nose and reddish hair that shot straight back and spiked at the end, asked.

�We should take her back to the house so that Dr. Gilmore can make sure she�s all right.� 007, a tall, slim, bald man said.

�Are you sure that�s a good idea I mean what if she�s working for Black Ghost?� 006, a short, pudgy, Chinese man asked.

[She�s not; if anything she wants to destroy Black Ghost as much as we do.] 001, an infant boy told the group.

�How do you know?� 009, another teenaged boy with brown hair and brownish, reddish eyes asked.

[Simple I read her mind.]

�All right, but I think we should take turns in keeping an eye on her until we know for sure that we can trust her.� 008, a young black African man said not fully trusting this new girl yet.

�I agree.� 004, a man with grayish-silverish hair and eyes nodded in agreement.

�Well now that it�s all settled lets got going shall we?� 005, a tall, Indian said as he bent down and picked the girl up.

They then headed back to the Dolphin since the house they were all staying at was quite a distance from where they were now.

�So who wants to be the first person to keep an eye on her?� 008 asked.

�I�ll go.� 004 said as he went to the room that help the girl that they rescued.

�Why don�t you believe 001 when he says that she is not working for Black Ghost?� 003, a young woman with medium length blond hair, asked not liking the fact that her teammates were treating this new person like a prisoner.

�It�s not that we don�t believe him it�s just that we want to play it safe.� 009 explained as he tried to calm his friend down.

�Well I don�t like it. Just because she came from Black Ghost does NOT make her evil!� She yelled, and then she turned and left the room telling the others that she was going to her room.

�Wow she�s really upset, she forgot to take 001 with her and you know she always carries him with her when Dr. Gilmore isn�t around.� 006 observed.

�Yeah, well, how do we even know if she is a cyborg? I mean she isn�t wearing the uniform that we do, she�s just wearing everyday clothes.� 002 pointed out.

[Just because she doesn�t wear a uniform like ours doesn�t mean that she is not a cyborg.] 001, who was also upset as 003 by the way his teammates were treating this girl as an enemy, told 002.

�Why do I get the feeling that you and 003 think we�re the bad guys?� 007 asked.

[Well you should be, considering that you have this teenaged girl watched 24/7 by someone. You make it seem that this girl can�t go anywhere without one of you with her. Are you going to have someone follow her to the bathroom as well?]

(Wow 001 is really pissed. 002: Never thought I�d see the day when the baby would get mad. I just have one question though how come your making us look like the bad guys? S.A.P.: Relax its just part of the plot now hush so that the readers can get back to the story.)

�Fine, once she wakes up and we ask her questions about herself and we like the answers we�ll call off the guards all right?� 009 asked.

[Very well.]

Everyone was so caught up in the argument they were having that no one had realized they had reached their destination until 008, who had been flying the Dolphin, announced it.

�I hate to interrupt your little dispute but I thought you might want to know we�re home. Now if you don�t mind I�m going to go ask 004 how the girl is.� 008 informed the others then left.

(002: Sorry for interrupting again but do you even have a name for this girl or is she just going to be known as this girl for the rest of the story? S.A.P.: Of course she has a name I just haven�t gotten there yet. Relax everything will happen in due time. 002: And another thing, how long do you plan on having this new character of yours sleep? She�s been asleep for most of the chapter. S.A.P.: -_- Will you just chill out already? I have to get things ready for the continuation of this story and if you interrupt me one more time I�m going to smack you upside your head.)

The six men left on the bridge all looked at each other and decided to depart the ship and go talk to the doctor.

008 caught up with 004 who was carrying the girl off the ship. �She�s still out?�

�Yeah, you know I know we�re suppose to see her as the enemy but I can�t help but feel sorry for her. I mean the poor kid gets taken away from the only life she�s ever known and then gets turned into a cyborg.� 004 said as they walked towards the house.

�I know what you mean in fact that�s what the whole team has been arguing about.�

�What do you mean?�

�Well some of the team thinks she should be treated as the enemy and the other half thinks she should be treated as a normal person.�

004 let out a bitter laugh. �The last thing any of us are is normal.�

008 was about to respond but never got the chance as the front door opened and Dr. Gilmore, a short man with a rather large nose, gray hair and beard, along with 003 and 002 came towards where the two cyborgs were talking.

�So this is the girl that�s causing all the commotion with in the team.�

�Yes sir.� 003 confirmed.

�I see the others have filled you in on what�s happened so far.� 004 noticed.

�Yes they have, now if you will follow me I�d like to take her to the medical lab so I can examine her.� Dr. Gilmore said as he led the way to the room with the four cyborgs following. �If you would be so kind as to lay her down on the table and then you, 008, and 002 may leave. I�d like 003 to stay so she can help me.�

�All right.� 004 did as he was instructed and he and 008 left the room.

�Actually if you don�t mind I�d like to stay here incase she wakes up and goes postal.� 002 requested.

Dr. Gilmore thought a bit before answering. �Very well.�

With that taken care of he and 003 began their examination.

�Uuh I feel like I got hit by a Mac truck. Why does it feel like I�m lying on a table?� She asked herself and then a frightening thought entered her head. �What if I�ve been captured again? Well if that�s the case I�m not going to go down so easily.� She opened her eyes, sat up, and was about to lash out when she saw where she was and who was in the room with her. �No way, I�ve got to be dreaming. There is no way I am sitting in the same room as Dr. Gilmore, Francoise, and Jet.�

�How do you know our names?� 003 asked confused.

�Oops did I say that out loud?�

�You sure did now start talking.� 002 demanded.

�All right, but I suggest you gather up the others first because I don�t feel like repeating myself.� The girl suggested.

�Fine, but lets move to the living room where it�ll be more comfortable.� Dr. Gilmore said as he led the three cyborgs out of the medical room.
