Chapter 45 Rescue Konoka

Negi and his two partners have found Konoka up in the mountains. She is with Chigusa, the lady who kidnapped her the first time and the three heroes make themselves ready for battle. But Chigusa uses Konoka’s powers to summon a big bunch of ancient demons and runs away with her. The team decides to split up and Negi goes after the lady and Konoka while the two girls stay behind to fight.

“Finally we’d been summoned, after so many years,” says the leader of the demons. “And we’re going to fight two little girls?”

They are twice as big as Asuna and Setsuna and there must be at least a hundred of them but the girls show no fear and attack first. They slay about ten of them each before they withdraw and take a breath.
