Pokemon is property of Nintendo and Game Freak. This is the sequel to The Thorn Within. For those who are curious, Valdrade is a name that my sister came up with.

Timeline: This starts after the Hoen league tournaments. In this story's time line, there are both single and double trainer tournaments. Ash came in second to his girlfriend in the singles
division and the two dominated the doubles. Currently our heroes are heading back to the Kanto region with Brock, Max, and May in tow. Max was going
to get his first pokemon from the professor and May wanted to travel through the Kanto and most likely the Johto regions as well.

Ash had his arm around Valdrade's waste. The two were standing near the railing of the ship that would take them back to the region of Kanto. Once there they would travel back to Pallet and rest until Max would get restless and drag them all over Kanto. This time, however, his love would be there, not some bitchy little red head whose family didn't want Valdrade because of her gift. She had changed her appearance by adding
pink highlights to her hair which Ash liked. Brock did not approve of the two doing what they did, but he had no true authority over them. Ash loved her and that was proven when she was hurt during one of Team Rocket's, Jessie and James, attacks. Ash used all of his new pokemon to drive the two villains away. Ash's pokemon seem to get the same rage as their trainer and attack with such fury that they were unstoppable.
"How long?" Ash asks Valdrade.
"Probably another one and a half hours before we reach land." she answers lazily cuddling into Ash. They hear Max once again grab Brock's ear before he humiliated himself in front of another bikini clad girl. May was looking at the couple with a jealous eye.
"You look so good in black." Valdrade says admiring Ash in his black swim trunks.
"You're not bad yourself." he says running his hand up her thigh. She playfully swats it away and he begins to tickle her through her swimsuit.
May turns away in disgust of the fact that ash couldn't be hers.

"I'm having trouble holding this form Sam. Ash will be back soon..."
"I know, you weren't supposed to hold that form for so long. Looks like I'll have to increase the vitamin intake."
"What else can I do?"
"We can't let Ash know the truth. He has already found out about his father, but if he finds that his mother is dead and a ditto has been raising..."
"He'll never trust you ever again."
Unbeknownst to the professor and the ditto that was playing Delia Ketchem, Lance had been listening in on the conversation. To say the leader of the league and the main resistance against Giovanni's new crime ring was angry was an understatement.
'So, that's it. I new that Oak was to over protective of Ash, but I didn't know that he would go this far. I cannot tell him, but if he isn't careful Valdrade will see through this sham. He's not a baby, he is the son of my hero and I won't let you ruin him just because Alex got Delia and you used the ditto to have your own twisted
fantasies.' Lance thinks to himself watching the two screw around.

The group of four looked from the top of the hill that they were on. They saw the small, sleepy town of Pallet. Ash started to takeoff but one second before he could Valdrade jumped onto his back and rapped her legs around him. This did not slow down the teenage boy as he took off with his girlfriend getting a ride.
'That is another thing that I've not been able to figure out. Ever since I rejoined up with Ash this girl has seemingly strengthened Ash both mentally and physically. He only lost to her because she was better than he is in battle and that's without using her psychic powers. It's like he's tapping into
some well of inner strength that was never there before. His newer pokemon haven't been able to tap into it like Pikachu has. I wonder if his older pokemon can do it to. Misty won't be happy.' Brock thinks trying to keep up with the pokemon trainer. Max was bringing up the rear.

"Mom! We're..." Ash yells out but apparently she wasn't home because Ash saw a note on the door saying that she was at professor Oak's place. Max
lit up like a Christmas tree and ran out faster than Ash ran to get to his home in the first place.

The quartet reached Oak's lab. Max went right to the old man talking a mile a minute. Ash and Valdrade went straight out to the preserve. Ash reaches the middle of the grassy field and whistles. A sizable militia of Pokemon comes running out to greet him.
"Hey guys, I've got some knew friends for you to meet." Ash says and releases the five that he had caught in the Hoen region. Ash looks thoughtful as he is looking at all of his friends.
"What's wrong? Valdrade asks.
"It's this ultimate tournament they are going to have in six months. They've decided to have trainers from all three leagues compete in it. From what I've heard there will be at least 512 trainers. Including the two of us. I'm probably going to have trouble choosing a team so quick. My pokemon that I've used during the last tournament don't need to go through the training I'll need to do for this one. I know I'll use Pikachu, but that still leaves 5 slots opened."
"You'll figure it out."
"Charizard, Blastoise, Bayleef, Dragonite, and Alakazam,"
Valdrade smiles and kisses him full on the lips. "I new you could do it."
"Thanks," he says and kisses her back.
"Ash!! You've come home again!!" Delia shouts coming towards the trainer who broke apart from Valdrade and was squeezed to death by his mother.
"Mom!" Ash tries to say as he attempts to get out of the grip of his mother. Valdrade laughs at him.

It was early evening, the small group was gathered at the dining room table. Ash, however, noticed an extra plate and that Brock looked nervous.
"Hey mom, are we expecting..." he says but before he could finish, the doorbell rings. Brock went over to get the door and there outside stood Misty.
"Misty, what are you doing here?" Ash asks not liking where the night was taking him.
"I called her to let her know when you would be back. Brock thinks it would be a good idea for a reunion." Delia says smiling.
"Oh he did, did he?" Ash growls softly. If Brock thinks he could break him and Valdrade apart then he had another thing coming.
Misty saw that Brock had been right and there she was sitting beside Ash. "I thinks you would have perished when you were abandoned." Misty says with an icy tone in her voice.
"Our "father" was bitter and blamed me for mother's death. I was brought up with the wrong crowd, but Ash pulled me out of that bad situation." Valdrade says exasperated.
"Yeah, probably had something to do with that last mission he went on for Lance." Brock said looking at Ash.
"You know as well as I do that I can't give all of the details of what Lance says and tells me to do when he sends me on these crazy missions."
"The unexplained fall of Team Rocket has not helped anything." Misty says haughtily.
"I believe that Ash has already chosen who he wants." Valdrade says smiling at Ash.
"You are a freak, why should Ash stay with you?" May asks jumping into the conversation.
"Why don't you go play with your dolls, little girl." Misty says to May. Max laughs at the comment.
"So far, that's the most logical thing you've said since you walked in," Valdrade said crossing her arms.
"Ash, you're my son, but I doubt you'll get any respect from the league if you are in a relationship with her," Delia says giving a knowing look to both Brock and Misty.
"I can't believe this, one of my friends and my mother can't deal with the fact that I'm in love with Valdrade. I cannot stand this." Ash says rising to his feet.
Valdrade looks at Mrs. Ketchem and commands, "Ditto, revert," and a wave of pink psychic energy comes out and the ditto was a ditto again. The pink thing headed straight out of the house.
"Follow that ditto!" Ash says and he and Valdrade charge after the Ditto while the others look on in stunned silence.

"Oh no, how am I going to explain this?!" the professor said when the ditto came in. This was what the professor had feared the most, but he didn't know that it would happen this soon. Valdrade must have caught on too soon.
"Professor, have you seen...there you are! Ash says charging at the ditto. An arm comes out to block Ash's mad charge.
"Slow down Ash," Lance says and then turns towards a shocked Oak. "Explain yourself or I'll do it for you."
"Explain what?" Ash asks now confused.
"I...believe you know how your father died...well...your mother was also killed by Giovanni. I couldn't raise you myself so I used a ditto and taught it exactly how to act like your mother. I'm sorry."
Ash was shocked. Not only did Giovanni kill his father but his mother met the same fate as well.
"Tell him what else you taught that ditto." Lance says coldly to the professor.
"I don't think..."
"You might as well tell the total truth now, he deserves it." Valdrade says putting an arm around Ash.
"Me and the ditto have been having sexual relations for quite a while now. I wanted your mother, but I couldn't betray your father." Oak says in a tone that seemingly was admitting defeat and guilt.
Ash didn't know what to feel. He was numb. Then they heard an explosion.
"ASH KETCHUM! IT IS THE GREAT GIOVANNI. IF YOU DON'T COME OUT RIGHT NOW I WILL DESTROY THIS ENTIRE PERSERVE AND EVERY POKEMON IN IT!" Giovanni says
from outside.

Ash and Valdrade came out to see that Giovanni was surrounded by a group of large thugs who promptly open fire, but she puts up a psychic barrier and the bullets harmlessly bounce off it.
"Well, it seems that you've really have fallen in love, Valdrade. Then allow me to show you what I've done to myself." the former leader of Team Rocket says and a glow of power surrounds him. His left arm transforms and appears to look like Mewtwo's left arm. His eyes glow with an unknown power. "I've been experimenting
on myself to give myself the elemental control that pokemon possess. Now, with this new found power I will kill the both of you and rule the world." he says and blasts Valdrade away. A madness seems to overcome Ash. His eyes turn red and his body begins to glow black. A dark aura surrounds him and there
where Ash stood now stood someone in a black cloak.
"You've hurt her...now, the shadow master will obtain vengeance." the one in black says charging an electric field around him that was black as well.
'So the old prophecy was correct. the shadow master has risen, but that means that Valdrade is...Giovanni has made a grave mistake. I just hope Ash can regain himself afterwards.' Lance thinks as he looks at the new Ash.
"Who are you?" Giovanni asks not showing a bit of fear even though he was trembling on the inside..
"I am the one that protects the light. I'm the one that hides in the darkness to strike those that would bring an end to the balance. I'm feared by those that would freely embrace evil. I am nightmares of the weak personified. The light shows mercy, but the shadow has none, especially towards you."
"You hid inside of Ash?"
"I'm part of Ash. He's not ready to obtain this level of power, however, you've provoked me. Now, I will finish you once and for all."
Misty and May were watching and at least one of them had a thinks that was positive towards Valdrade.
'I couldn't handle him with that type of power. She can control him better.' May thinks.
'That bitch! She did this to him! I'll get rid of that freak once and for all!' Misty thinks cursing her sister.
"You only bark loud, you have no bite." Giovanni says smugly.
"Well, let's test your new found power...thunder shatter!" he says and a field of electricity strikes Giovanni. The former master of Team Rocket was not phased by the attack.
"You're going to have to do better than that. Psyburn!" Giovanni cries out and a fiery purple blast heads towards the shadow master.
"Darkness shield!" he cries out and the attack harmlessly bounces off a black shield.
"Interesting, you are just as defensive as you are offensive, but that won't do you any good Ash."
"In this form I am known as Ashura."
"Doesn't really matter...deep freeze!" Giovanni says releasing a ball of light blue energy.
"Black Fire!" Ashura calls out and a wave of black fire shatters the ice ball and singes Giovanni.
'It's like watching two monsters...one good the other evil.' Lance thinks watching the battle.
"Let's take this to the sky," Giovanni says lifting himself off the ground and levitating up into the sky.
"Shadow disk," Ashura says and a black disk appears from underneath him and he follows.
"F5!" Giovanni says and a giant twister heads for Ashura, but he teleports away at the very last second. This makes the mad man think that he has won.
"Yes! The world is mine!"
"Black Lightning!" Ashura says from above Giovanni and a powerful bolt of lightning strikes the would be tyrant. Giovanni recovers and attacks Ashura
with his fists. Instead of attacking, the shadow master blocks every single punch.
"What?! I didn't hit you once?! You can't be that fast!" Giovanni says losing it.
"You've gotten strong, but your soul is impure. You are tainted by the deeds you've done. You've tried to corrupt the light. Now, you must pay."
"I will not be judged by you or this world, so I will destroy it!" Giovanni says and he lifts himself higher into the sky. "Final annihilation!" he cries out and a large blast of purple energy heads slowly for the earth.
"No! He's gone mad! He's decided to kill us all!" Lance screams out.
"Hit the deck!" Professor Oak says and everyone gets on the ground.
"Shadow Apocalypse!" Ashura cries out and a larger ball of shadow energy collides with the Final Annihilation. The two attacks just hang there in the sky until the black ball of energy starts a trek back up towards Giovanni.
"Noooooo! It's too powerful!" he says and the mutated human is engulfed by his own attack and Ashura's as well. When the sky cleared, Giovanni was vaporized.

"Everything was blurry. He couldn't see a thing. Then he blinked a couple of times and saw the most wonderful site.
"What...what happened?" Ash asks quietly to Valdrade.
"You defeated Giovanni," Valdrade says rapping her arms around him.
"How?"
"That doesn't matter." she says reaching under his shirt and caressing his chest.
"What about Oak?"
"He won't mention it if you don't." she says taking off his shirt. She finishes undressing him. She psychically removes her clothes and links their minds. He feels her warm mouth sucking on his penis. The blood starts to flow down there and he becomes erect quickly. Once he was hard she mounts him.
'I'll do all the work this time Ash,' Valdrade sends and plunges herself on his 9 inches of man meat. The feeling of filling and being filled was felt by both. Ash tried to roll them over so that he would be on top but Valdrade would not have it. She began to bounce atop him riding him for all she was worth.
