Naze...?

“Ah, Shunsuke! Good morning!” Yukihiko greeted when Shunsuke entered the kitchen, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He mumbled something in reply and went to the fridge. He pulled out a pint carton of milk and sat down at the table. “I see your leg is feeling better. That’s good.” Yukihiko said, trying to start a conversation and smiling.

“Meh…” Shunsuke replied, drinking the milk.

Shunsuke set down the carton. That gave Yukihiko a chance to look him straight in the eyes. They were unusually dull.

“Shunsuke…did something happen yesterday?” Yukihiko asked, being extremely serious.

“I just…fell…that’s all…” He replied, hesitantly.

Yukihiko walked over from his position over to the table. He grabbed Shunsuke’s chin and lifted it up so they met eye-to-eye again.

“You’re lying to me,” He said. “I can tell by your eyes.”

“I’m fine!” Shunsuke retorted, slapping his friend’s hand away. “I’m all right…I swear…”

Of course, Yukihiko wouldn’t stand for Shunsuke’s behaviour or lying. He picked up the smaller boy and held him up in the air. Shunsuke immediately protested.

“Let me go, Yukihiko!”

“Nope! Not until you tell me what’s wrong!”

“Nothing’s wrong!” Unexpectedly, tears started falling down Shunsuke’s face.

“What the……” Yukihiko brought Shunsuke down closer to him. When he was lowered, Shunsuke immediately clung to the blonde. “Shunsuke…”

“I never…wanted it to happen again…” Shunsuke sobbed. “…but it did…”

“Now, will you tell your best friend what happened?” Yukihiko asked.

“No!” He replied. Shunsuke let go and ran upstairs.

“He’s too stubborn…” Yukihiko muttered. He walked over to a phone book and started flipping through it.

Later

“Izuki-sensei, please come in.” Yukihiko greeted the female at the door. He moved out of the way so she could enter. "I'm sorry I had you come on such a short notice."

"It's okay, I'm used to things like this," she replied. "Now, where is the patient you wanted me to see?"

"He's right upstairs, please follow me."

Yukihiko led the female upstairs to Shunsuke's room. He knocked on his door.

"Shunsuke! I have a guest for you." Yukihiko said. When there was no answer, he knocked louder. "Shunsuke?" When he was tired of knocking, he opened the door just enough so he could peek in. No one was in there, and the window was open. Yukihiko turned around to face the guest. "I'm sorry, but could I have you come back a different time?"

"Umm...sure." She said. She walked downstairs and let herself out.

Once he was sure she was gone, Yukihiko ran into the room and started searching for the lost Shunsuke. He went out and looked in all the rooms. There was no Shunsuke found. Yukihiko ran into his own room and searched through old papers. He found a crumpled-up peice of paper with a cell phone number who belonged to a good old friend.

To Hestia: I was making reference to the first Gakuen Heaven game, in which Shunsuke was raped and blackmailed by the vice-chairman Kuganuma (the one who was trying to get Keita to drop out). And Yukihiko is Naruse's first name. =P
