Chapter 2
Luffy lay on his bed, thinking hard of what had happened while the rest of the crew sat in the kitchen discussing things over.
"So, tell me..." Sanji started, "How did this all really happen?"
"No one really knows..." Nami replied, "We were all off-guard and the naval ship came so quickly, not even firing a single shot. They took Zoro before we even had a chance to figure out what was going on."
"Of coarse," Robin continued, "Our blind with anger captain, wanted to charge in after them, but the ship came so fast that there was something strange about it."
"I saw it..." Chopper's voice came from the floor. All heads turned to see his little blue nose right above the top of the table.
"What do you mean, Chopper?" Ussop asked.
"I-I didn't know just what was going on, but I saw the ship on the horizon... I'm real sorry..." Nami stood up and knelt beside him.
"That's okay, Chopper... just tell us what you saw..." she coaxed.
"Well..." Chopper began, "The ship was so far away and I was about to yell to Zoro... to see if he saw it..."
"Go on..." Ussop insisted.
"I turned away just for a second to see Zoro sleeping on deck..."
"Figures..." Nami scowled.
"Block-head..." Robin added.
"Lazy, ox-muscled..." Ussop continued.
"Serves him right..." Sanji finished.
"Anyway," Chopper ignored, braver to tell his story, "I turned back at the ship to see it disappeared. I looked all over and realized it was behind us. After that I saw a whole bunch of men board; and someone clocked in a strange looking robe."
"W-what?" the crew asked astonished.
"Chopper! You just solved a huge mystery!" Nami smiled.
"I'm not happy... asshole..." Chopper smiled.
"What do you mean, Nami?" Ussop asked.
"Once again, my love Nami solves another great mystery! She's so smart..." Sanji praised lovingly.
"Try to remember..." Nami started to Chopper, "Was there smoke anywhere in view..."
"Um..." Chopper thought, "Yeah... everywhere..."
"So, tell me..." Sanji started, "How did this all really happen?"
