Chapter Two:

"Where the hell is it?"

Monday morning started dreadfully enough for Shuichi Sindou. It all began with waking up forty five minutes late which meant missing breakfast and not having enough time to take a shower. Then, there was the disaster of his dad coughing nonstop that ended up with Shuichi leaving the cold room angrily while cursing everybody on his way. And just to make everything worse, his mathematics book was gone!

Finding his worn out socks from under the bed, Shuichi hurriedly put them on and stuffed his hands in his pockets to take out some money only to find them empty. Great! There was no way in hell he was going to walk to school under this heavy snow. He didn't have a dead wish, yet.

Trying to put on his jeans and murmuring a sad song under his breath, Shuichi thought if there was one thing he hated more than this hell-house; it was asking Ryuichi for money. From Shuichi's point of view, there was nothing more embarrassing that asking your older brother for money. Well, maybe the incident in that club was more embarrassing, but still…

"Get over it! Damn it!"

If there was only a small chance Shuichi could turn back the time, he would definitely go back and slap the man just to wipe that freaking smirk off that face. But unfortunately, it was just a wishful thinking. Why, oh why did he go to that gay club? That memory was going to hunt him forever.

Standing at Ryuichi's bedroom door and staring at the metal handle, Shuichi hesitated for a second before opening the door and entering. The scene in front of him wasn't exactly what he had expected to see.

"Hey Ryu, isn't this your little bro?"

The smell of cigarette and bear was literally making Shuichi gag and he had to close his eyes and take deep breaths in order to stop himself from puking right there and then.

"What do you want?"

Shuichi stared at the white powder on the floor and gritted his teeth together in order not to scream out. Their dad was dying in the next room, their mother was turning in an alcoholic and Ryuichi was sniffing up cocaine? This wasn't fair.

"He's a cutie Ryu, why don't we take him with us next time?"

Shuichi watched with narrowed eyes as the topless girl sat on Ryuichi's lap and started to run her hands up and down on Ryuichi's arms seductively. He watched as Ryuichi lazily smirked and ran his tongue over the girl's neck and fisted his hands. He could actually hear kissing sounds from the other side of the room, but didn't turn his head to see the disgusting scene. If he was strong enough, he would give Ryuichi and his filthy friends in the room a hard punch on the face. Unfortunately, it was another wishful thinking.

"You know what Ryuichi, fuck you!"

Shuichi's eyes were actually stinging as he slammed the door shut and ran downstairs. He just hated Ryuichi too much sometimes. The pink hair boy wasn't asking for much, just a little caring, a little kindness in the goddamned house. Was that too much to ask?

His oh-so-lovely mom ignored him completely as Shuichi Opened the door and walked on the snow covered ground, acting like Shuichi didn't exist at all.

'All the better,' Shuichi thought. In his mind, His mom didn't exist either.

When the pink hair boy reached school, he was wet from head to toe and it wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. Shaking his head to get rid of the snow on his head, Shuichi ignored the sarcastic looks the cheerleader of the class gave him and made his way through the end of the class.

"Boy, aren't you late?"

If he was in a good mood, he would definitely turn around and give his best friend a nice smile and a warm hug, but he wasn't and he just settled for giving Sugoru a curt nod, barely acknowledging him.

"Somebody's in a very full mood today."

"You would be too if you walked all the way to school!"

Shuichi snapped, but then sighed and dropped his bag on the dirty floor. It wasn't Sugoru's fault that Shuichi's life was a living hell. Although Sugoru was a real nerd, Shuichi still didn't want to lose him as a friend. Because Shuichi better than anybody else knew Sugoru was the only person who had always helped him in hard times.

"So, how things are going at home?"

"I'm actually considering running away."

"Yeah, you say that everyday."

"Well, it just shows how desperate I am. Where's the teacher anyway?"

"I don't know. He's probably at home, fucking that blonde girl in the tenth grade. We all know how he always drools over her."

Shuichi sighed deeply as he rested his head on his brown desk and stared at the blackboard in front of him. His teacher's life was the last thing in his mind at the moment.

"Shuichi,"

Shuichi didn't bother to acknowledge Sugoru this time as he sat next to him and rested his hand on his wet shoulder. That blonde bastard from the club had fucked his mind so badly he couldn't even think about anything else. 'God, please give me another chance to get my revenge. I want to choke that bastard to death'

"About the band,"

"What about the band?"

"We need money, Shuichi."

Shuichi suddenly had the urge to laugh out loud, but stopped himself in time. He knew how sensitive Sugoru was but seriously, money? If Shuichi had money, he would first hospitalize his dad and then get as far away from his mom and Ryuichi as possible.

"Don't give me that mocking look, okay? We need to buy a drum and then find a drummer. We need to buy a new guitar too. Plus, we need to rent a place to practice."

"And what do you have in mind."

"If I had anything in mind, I wouldn't ask for your help you idiot! We either get some money and start practicing, or we just forget about the band."

"We can't forget about the band!" Shuichi screamed, but then lowered his voice as everybody turned around and stared at him. Shrugging Sugoru's hand off his shoulder, Shuichi narrowed his eyes as he looked at the green eyes." You know how much it means to me."

"Shuichi come on! We're just two lonely boys trying to become a famous band! God, even thinking about it is ridiculous. Maybe it's time we concentrated on school instead."

Shuichi wanted to answer back, but it was when the teacher walked in, clothes hanging loose on his on his thin frame and a mark of lipstick on his collar, and although Shuichi hated Sugoru at the moment, he couldn't help but agree with his theory.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

The last place Shuichi wanted to be in was the living room, but he had no other choice when the weather was this cold and the window of his room was broken. Lying down on the couch and staring at the blank screen TV, Shuichi gritted his teeth together as he heard his mom singing happily and running from one room to another. Only God knew what she was up to this time.

"Don't you have something better to do besides lying down on the couch like a carcass?" Shuichi didn't bother to answer back and watched as his lovely mom sat in front of the broken mirror and put on the ugliest make up Shuichi had ever seen. What had given her the impression that the color purple suited her?

"When Ryuichi comes home, tell him there is some left over in the refrigerator." Well, it was actually the left over of the left over and besides, Ryuichi had two eyes, two hands and two legs. He could walk in the kitchen, open the refrigerator and see if there was anything to eat.

"I'm going out. Be a good boy while you're home alone."

"Yeah,"

Shuichi didn't even ask where his mother was going at 10Pm. To be honest, he didn't want to know. Last time he saw what she was doing with a total stranger, he couldn't sleep for a week.

A part of him wanted to go upstairs, peek into Ryuichi's room and listen to music, but he stoped himself. Last time Ryuichi saw him touching his oh-so precious CDs, things went really, really ugly. But damn it, how could he get that blonde bastard out of his mind?

"Next time I'll see him, I'll kill him." But Shuichi wasn't so sure if he had the courage to step into that club ever again. There was something scary about that place…

Shuichi could hear his dad coughing upstairs, but he didn't bother to go and help him. There was nothing he could do. His dad was dying and there was nothing he could do. The dream of him becoming a singer was flying away like a leaf in the wind and there was nothing he could do.

"I need money."

For a moment, he thought about selling drugs, but then shook his head. Selling drugs wasn't his thing. And there was no way in hell he could find a job. He couldn't leave his dad alone at home. Mom would kill him for sure. Was there anything he could do?

Twenty minutes later, Shuichi was walking down the street he dreaded so much. He could actually hear his heart beating fast in his chest, but ignored it. There was no way he was giving up becoming a singer. It was the only thing that had kept him going for so long after all.

Shuichi ignored the two men kissing at the entrance door the best he could, and weakly smiled at the bouncer instead. Sighing in relief as the man let him in, Shuichi thought that 'God, I don't even like boys.' But there was no turning back now.

A hand on his ass was the last thing he wanted, but he reminded himself why he was there and gave the muscular man a lame smile. He was shocked when the man squeezed his ass.

"Hey there," His voice was shaking, but luckily, the man didn't notice. He was grinning from ear to ear and Shuichi had to turn his head away as the horrible smell of the man's mouth reached his nose.

"Wanna dance?"

'No!' Shuichi wanted to scream out, but no sound came out, and it was exactly when he saw him. Trying to step away from the muscular man, Shuichi yelped as the man behind him suddenly dodged and he fell on his ass, and it fucking hurt!

'Oh god, please tell me he didn't see this!' But he could already see him walking to him while that bloody smirk was on his lips. He just knew coming here wasn't a good idea.

"Need help?"

"No!" Shuichi snapped as he stood up and wiped the imaginary dust away from his jeans. If the man smirked one more time, Shuichi was going to break that beautiful nose. Wait a minute! What? Beautiful? No, he didn't think that!

"I thought I said here's not for virgins."

"And I don't give a fuck about what you think!"

"Do you kiss your mom with that mouth?"

"I don't kiss my mom at all!" Shuichi snapped again as he glared at the man and crossed his arms over his chest in a very defensive manner. There was something about this blonde man that was pissing him off.

"You do the right thing." The man smirked again and Shuichi openly barked this time. His calm voice was the most nauseating thing Shuichi had ever heard in his entire life.

"Why don't you go and leave me the hell alone?"

The man only shrugged and was about to turn around and walk away when he stopped dead in his tracks. He looked thoughtful for a second before looking at Shuichi and raising his eyebrows. Now what?

"Are you here for…money?"

Shuichi could feel the heat on his cheeks as he opened his mouth to shout no, but stopped himself right in time. He remembered his dad and his dream and shyly nodded instead. He suddenly felt like the secure bubble around him was broken and he was naked. It wasn't a nice feeling at all.

The man eyed him from head to toe and Shuichi could swear his skin turned a lovely shade of red. Was he really going to do it?

"Let's make a deal."

"A deal?" Shuichi repeated as he raised his eyebrows and stared at the golden eyes, feeling more naked than ever. It really wasn't what he was expecting to hear. Could he trust this man?

"Yes, A deal. You act as my boyfriend for the night and I give you…let's see, 7oo dollars?"

Shuichi opened his mouth to say something, but no sound came out. Act as his boyfriend? Well, this wasn't how he wanted to spend the night, but it still was better than…than…

"Should I trust you?"

"No, you shouldn't. But isn't this better that what you're here to do?"

Shuichi blushed again, but didn't try to hide it this time. Seven hundred dollars was much more than he had hoped to get when he stepped in the club, but it meant spending the night with the jerk. Could he handle it?

"Okay," Shuichi even surprised himself by saying that, but there was no turning back now, because the man was already going, mentioning him to follow.

What the hell had he done?

To be continued…
