Pokemon Dark Destiny
The first Battle
"Jeez, that took SOOOOOOO long." Shadow said with a sarcastic tone.
"... Hey, I've never been here before, I didn't know how far it was." Angel said in a whiny tone
She was right. She's never been to the Lab. The only places she's been in town were the school, Shadow's house, her own house, and the training areas south of their houses. The Lab was east.
"True, but you still shouldn't ASSUME the length of things." Shadow said. "You know the saying. When you assume you…"
"You make an ass out of you and me, yes, I know, thank you." Angel interrupted and leaned up to kiss his cheek.
Just at that moment, the door blew open, and out ran a boy, and a girl, who looked strikingly familiar to Shadow and Angel, but they shrugged it off.
"Shadow, Angel, I need a favor!" Prof. Elm yelled in a panic. "Those two kids there STOLE a Pichu and Magby. Take one of these three Pokemon, and GO GET THEM!"
"Alright, alright, calm down, Prof. Elm." Shadow said, calming the Prof. down
Note: This IS Prof. Elm, but not the prof. Elm you know. It's not said yet, but THIS Prof. Elm happens to be the original Prof. Elm's daughter. Yup, she's the Prof. in New Bark now.
"I'm sorry kids.. It's just those Pokemon are only babies, those trainers could treat them badly, I don't want that. Can you please go?" She said.
"Yeah, sure. I take... Totodile." She said, grabbing the Water-type's ball.
"Cyndaquil for me." Shadow said, grabbing the Fire-Types ball.
"Now hurry. They went that way!" She said quickly hugging them and returning to the lab.
With that, Shadow and Angel bolted down the side walk setting the Pokeballs on their belts and running full speed. The two thieves stopped with a skid, and turned around, sending out the baby Pokemon.
"Pichu, Thundershock!" Yelled the girl.
"Magby, Ember!" The boy yelled.
In unison, Magby and Pichu fired their starting elemental moves, hitting the ground only a foot away from Angel and Shadow.
"Hey! What's your problem?!" Shadow asked with an annoyed tone.
"Simple, we want REVENGE!" The girl shouted.
"Revenge? But we don't even know you!" He shouted, grabbing Cyndaquil's ball.
"Oh yes you do. You don't recognize me? I'm the girl whose heart you broke 4 years ago!"
Shadow's heart dropped as he stared at the girl. It was her. Breanna. Shadow's Ex-Girlfriend. But who was the boy...?
"Yeah, well, you had it coming, you slut! You cheated on me with Angels' ex!" He said, growling.
"Because you weren't fun enough for me! You were always a downer!"
"Bullshit! I tried to be the best damn guy I could, and you still cheated on me!" Shadow was now getting very angry. "Fine, why don't we settle it with a battle?"
"A battle, huh? Sounds good. But maybe my friend here wants his revenge. ON YOU, ANGEL!" Breanna yelled.
"Me? Who would want revenge on me?!"
"I would." The boy said and finally, it hit her.
That was ANGELS Ex-Boyfriend, Max. (No, not as in May's brother.) He had gotten a lot better looking since 4 years ago, but by the looks of things, a bigger jerk.
"Fine. A double battle then. How about that?" Shadow said, staring at them.
"Fine by me," Breanna looked at Max, then they looked at their Pokemon. "And if we win, you give us your Pokemon, and if you win, you get ours. Sound good?"
Shadow stood there in shock. IF they agreed and lost they'd lose their Pokemon. He stood there thinking a second, before glaring up.
"You're on! Go Cyndaquil!" He yelled, tossing the Pokeball into the air, as a Cyndaquil came out. But this wasn't an ordinary Cyndaquil. It was oddly colored. It was a Shiny Pokemon!
"Oh, cool, sweetie, you've got a Shiny Pokemon!" Angel said with total disbelief.
"Awesome!" He cheered, finally standing in a position, ready to battle.
"Go! Totodile!" Angel threw her ball into the air, as a Totodile popped out, ready to win. "Quick, hit that Magby with Water Gun!"
As Angel commanded, Totodile quickly released a Water Gun attack on the Magby, and got a direct hit. Magby, however, was tough as nails and stayed standing.
"Cyndaquil, Rollout!"
As Shadow commanded, Cyndaquil rolled into a ball, directly toward Magby, scoring another direct hit, but again, Magby survived through some miracle.
"Magby, Fire Punch!" Max yelled as the Fire-type ran at Cyndaquil and hit an Uppercut of flames.
"Cyndaquil, you okay?" Shadow asked with concern, but Cyndaquil jumped up, ready to rock!
"Pichu, Thundershock!"
Pichu did as commanded and released a devastating Thunderbolt, that somehow struck Cyndaquil, AND Totodile.
"Totodile/Cyndaquil, are you okay?!" The couple yelled in unison, happy to see the Pokemon rise up.
"Cyndaquil, take that Magby down! Rollout!"
As commanded, Cyndaquil became a ball again, and rolled toward the Magby, scoring a direct hit, and this time, Magby wasn't lucky, as the flame Pokemon fell to the ground, fainted
"Damn it! Magby, no!" He growled, returning the Pokemon.
"Totodile, ICE BEAM!" Angel screamed.
As Angel commanded, the Totodile let out a strong Ice Beam, hitting Pichu directly in the face, taking it to the ground, but not out.
"Pichu, Thundershock on that stupid Crocodile!"
"My Totodile isn’t stupid you whore!" But as she spoke, Totodile got struck with the Thundershock, and fell, fainted. "Totodile, no! Man..." She sighed, returning the Pokemon and stepping back. The battle was now a one on one between Ex-Lovers.
"Cyndaquil/Pichu, Ember/Thundershock!" The yelled in unison, as the Pokemon shot off their attacks, which collided, but, Cyndaquil proved to be strong, managing to mix Thundershock into Ember, & strike Pichu, knocking it out.
"Pichu! Damn you!" She returned it. Shadow and Angel just won their very first battle!!
"You're lucky we're a couple of honor." Max said, walking to them and handing Magby & Pichu back.
Shadow took them and without even a word, Angel, Totodile, Shadow, and Cyndaquil walked back, towards the lab. They finally stopped their, only to be tackled into a hug from Prof. Elm
"You got them back!" She screamed.
"Yup. We had to battle them though, and both of them are out right now." Shadow said as Prof. Elm let go.
"I need to give you guys a reward... So, go to the Pokemon Center, get them healed, and you can keep those Pokemon." Prof. Elm said.
Angel and Shadow looked at each other, and smiled
"Thanks. We'll make sure to keep good care of them." Shadow said with a smile.
"I should hope so. We'll all miss you guys." Prof. Elm said with a smile.
"We'll miss you too. Bye Prof. Elm!" Angel said as her and Shadow linked hands and headed to the center.
About 5 minutes later, they arrived at the Center, and went in, walking to the counter.
"Hi, how may I help you?" Nurse Joy asked with a smile.
"We need our Pokemon healed." Shadow said, then elbowed Angel softly. She was entranced, staring at Joy's breasts.
"Oh, right, yeah, can you please heal them?" She asked with a smile.
"Sure, hold on one moment."
As Joy turned around, Shadow glared at her. Joy made eyes at HIS girlfriend.
"All done. Here you go." She handed back the 4 Pokeballs.
"Thanks. See you around Nurse Joy." Shadow said as they walked out.
"Well. I guess we ought to leave the town now, huh? Cherrygrove City Waits." Shadow said, grabbing her hand.
"Yeah. Let's go." She laced their fingers, and headed out with him, towards the East exit of New Bark Town.
Their Journey is finally under way after so long.
