Sweet Misery between 2

For the rest of the day, Kyo avoided going home. When they went to school, he didnt talk with them or anything. In fact, he even started sitting with Haru and Momiji at lunch, much to their surprise. He kept stealing glances at Tohru, then would glare menancingly at Yuki from a distance. He avoided all confrontations with the Rat, and just ignored them to the best of his ability. 'I hate that damn Rat,' he thought bitterly. 'Why does he get the one girl that I might have had a chance of forming a relationship with? I wish he would just drop dead!' All day he fumed, remembering how she reacted to Yuki that morning, and that just made his rage slowly build. He was sitting on the roof of the school building when he smelled peach blossoms. He kept his gaze facing forward, worried that he might snap on her due to his anger. 'Why do I have to be this way with her? It's not her fault I'm the Cat; she doesn't deserve my anger.' He took a deep breath and released it, then stood to look at her. 'God, she's gorgeous! Why does she not have a boyfriend?' Then his thoughts turned back to Yuki and his eyes changed to their color when he was the Cat.
"What are you doing here?" he growled, glaring at her, and folding his arms. I thought I told you that I--"
"You told me nothing, other than that you were not coming home tonight for dinner, and that you werent going to eat breakfast with us," she said in a hurt voice. "I prepared all that stuff for you, and you dont have the decency to eat it! I dont know why I bother wasting my time on a creep like you!Yuki is so much better than..." She gasped as he grasped her wrist, fury bursting through his veins. His pupils were dilated and thin--just like the Cat's and she could see that he was at his breaking point.
"Never--compare me--to--that--DAMN RAT!!!" he roared, nearly slinging her on the ground. She gasped in pain as his grip threatened to break her wrist,and tears of fear and shame rolled down her face. 'How could I say something like that to him, when I knew how sensitive he was?" She tried to free herself enough to hug him, but he was suddenly air-borne, and a blur was racing towards him. As she realized it was Yuki, everything in her freezed with fear. YUKI WAS ABOUT TO KILL KYO!!
