I do not own Black Cat, and make no money from it.
Let's work our way backwards.
It seemed impossible, but father fell. His mind was broken by the one who looks more like me then father does. I knew the other bases had been crushed and destroyed, and I also knew that one by one the Star\'s had fallen. It was the job of the stars to fall though, they\'re common on the night sky, other stars that have fallen.
But unlike the Stars, I am not a star. I am something more, something uncrushable. To me, the ones down on that ground near Father were... rats. That\'s all they were, and all they would ever be. With a steady, silent hand that I had been taught to use, I raised my gun hand, and aim at the girl standing near the man who had hurt Father so badly. Take not, want not, but I wanted her dead.
That\'s why I pulled the trigger, but I didn\'t expect what happened to happen. Leon, my only friend who growing up, zipped down in front of the girl, and got shot in the leg by my bullet. The only person I cared about other then Father had been knocked back off the board he flew so elegantly on...
And that angered me more then anything else ever had. So I jumped down, into plain view of the others. The girl had caught Leon, and was supporting him now, as I kept my gun hand raised, and pointed at the man.... the man who looked like I did.
"Who on earth?" There\'s wonder in the man\'s voice as he stands up slowly, obviously testing how far I would allow him to move, seeing how his gun was still in it\'s holster, and mine was not.
I shot when he was above a kneel, and smirked. "You should know where to stay dog." I said with a proud smirk on my face, one that resembled Father\'s.
Leon was in pain, and I can\'t blame him for that expression on his face. I wish he wouldn\'t have done something so stupid, but then he yelled at me, something I\'d never heard him do before.
"CRAIN! Don\'t waste your life like he did, please!" Leon shouted, as the newcomers looked utterly bewildered at Crain\'s appearance.
Being bewildered, was just the beginning.

Another shorty, but enjoy... xD
