Seras crawled along the snow. She pushed her fingers down quietly. The ghasts she'd been sent to kill had taken a hilltop. Her camo kept her from being seen easily, but if she made too much noise they would flee. Ghasts weren't insane like vampires. They were cowardly. They'd fly at the first sign of danger. The ascent to the hill top had to be slow. Seras could get one of them, but the rest would get away. Intelligence rather than brawn would win this day.
Closer now. She waited until they stepped to move forward. Their ears were almost as good as her's. The hill crested closer and closer. The noises she made couldn't be hidden anymore. Fifteen metres away. She could try to rush them. If she could get all of them fast enough. Ghasts could be just as fast as vampires when they wanted to be. Their thin brittle bodies had fooled too many hunters in the past. Seras waited and thought. An idea.
She stretched out her mind. A thin shadow on the far side. It was enough. She pulled it out. Ever so often pushing it into the snow. A human wouldn't hear it. Undead would. It crept up the far side and kept making noise. Soon the ghasts heard it. They couldn't feel a heart beat or the other things that told them someone was there. Paranoia set in and they backed away from it. Right towards Seras.
She split the shadow off. Forcing the ghasts back directly towards her. They wouldn't break in a direction they thought someone was in. The shadows were about to break the edge. They never waited to see. They crashed straight away from it. Seras ducked her head. The white coat blended in perfectly. The crunch of snow. The clatter of teeth and bone. She waited silently for them to get closer. Ten metres, seven, five, three, lunge. The first, a gray thing of rotting skin broken apart with Seras's punch. Three others tried to stop. The second lost its head with a simple chop. The third tried to duck and ran into Seras's knee. The last managed to turn around before she tore out its spine.
Seras exhaled. Unneeded, but she still kept things like that. The creatures fell into dust. Nightmares never to bother another soul. She cracked stiff joints and stretched out sore muscles. Hours of waiting ended in a moment. The sun would rise in another hour or so. The though of it made her tired. Pip was with her back in their camp. He knew all kinds of ways to make her feel better. She blushed at her own thought. Being with him wasn't as frightening as it was weeks ago. They still hadn't done much more. But Pip slowly inched forward with her. So long as it was slow she was okay.
Wearily she tromped back to camp. A day in Pip's arms feeling better every moment.
Their 'little' camp crept into sight. It was large enough for the two of them and a small kitchen. The sun had risen and her eyes hurt. The snow bounced the light directly into her eyes. Her legs hurt. She felt light-headed. Pip's warm arms and touches drifted in and out of her thoughts. She stumbled through the entrance and almost collapsed when the heat of the fire hit her.
Pip caught her before she fell. He said something Seras didn't understand. His kind face. His deep eyes. His inviting mouth. She kissed him. He returned it and picked her up. She didn't feel the movement of air across her skin. She concentrated solely on his warm lips and the feelings he caused in her.
He took her to their make-shift bed. Her fingers stroked his long hair. She felt his strong calloused hands on her skin. The shock of the heat made her faint. She drifted, liquid in his arms. He kissed her lips, her face. Pip tightened his grip on her. She felt the possessiveness in his touch, the burning fire he lit everywhere he touched. She felt weak. Her head lolled back. Pip kissed lower and lower. Seras felt a moan rise from her throat.
He unbuttoned her shirt. Ice and snow on it melted and fell away. Seras thought to say something to stop him. The heat made it so hard. Pip's hands slid under her shirt and ran languid circles along her back. She trembled and shook. A icicle melting in a furnace. His fingers reached the strap to her bra and with a silent click it fell away.
Pip reached the top of Seras's breasts. A whisper in her mind to make him stop, but the heat burned her thoughts away. His tongue danced out across her skin. Seras groaned. It encouraged Pip. Moving lower and lower until he had her nipples between his lips. The shock of it made her jump. Wordlessly twisting on the sensation she gripped his hair and wrapped her legs around him. Pip went faster, his hands joined with his tongue. Seeking loving touching everywhere. Finding what sensations and feelings that Seras liked.
She could no longer sense Pip. The fire storm he stirred in her incinerated the world. Her skin melted. Her body vaporized. The pleasure kept on. Pip pushed on unaware of what he caused in the vampire. Seras moaned in ecstasy, silently pleaded with him. To continue to that unnameable thing that was fast approaching. Seras fell deeper into him. She could feel his excitement through the layers of cloth both of them still wore. A shiver ran up her body from her sex. The last push before she fell into blissful oblivion.
Seras woke up in the afternoon. Still in Pip's arms. Her shirt unbuttoned. Her bra somewhere. Their legs still tangled. She pressed her ear to his chest and listened to his heart. It was relaxing. Still asleep Pip wrapped his arms around her. She smiled. Her nipples tingled with the aftermath of Pip's gentle and furious caresses. The waistline of her pants was tangled up. He hadn't tried to remove them, but the twisted around in her passion.
She burrowed farther into his arms. She inhaled. The smell of the whiskey he had earlier. The faint cloying scent of his lust. It still made her tremble, but she was getting used to it. Pip wouldn't hurt her. He yearned to make her feel perfect. Seras was slowly easing herself into it. That simple calling in her blood made it sound so pleasant to give in.
Call.
Ahh! I was supposed to call Integra when I finished. Seras extracted herself from her lover and tiptoed over to the radio. She dialed down the volume to let Pip sleep longer. The machine beeped as the codes were entered. Integra picked up after a moment.
“Seras?”
“Mission complete. Four ghasts silenced.”
“Good job.” The business tone vanished immediately and her teasing side took over. “Pip didn't keep you long did he? It took you some time to call me.” Seras turned as red as her eyes.
“No-no he didn't. I just fell asleep-”
“Pip managed to tire out a vampire? Quite impressive.”
“I-It's not like that-”
“Well, so long as you can stand after his finished.” Seras whimpered.
“It-It-It I'm not...” Words failed her. She didn't think about stuff like that. She'd never just give herself over to those kinds of things.
“Is Pip being a gentleman and help cleaning up afterwards?” Seras mewled and hoped Integra would stop soon.
She didn't.
