Chapter 02: Link Up!
“OH COME ON!” Davis screamed loudly as the others all piled on top of him.
“Whoops, sorry Davis,” Tai said with a cheeky grin as stood alongside the Digimon Partners. All of the humans were once again in a large pile as was custom whenever they went to and from the Digital World.
“Ugh…” Sora groaned as she got up from the pile. As she opened her eyes, she gazed at her surroundings in amazement. “Whoa…” The rest of the group managed to get up, and found themselves in the same exact state of awe.
They were in a large tree-house-like structure. No, it wasn’t a tree house, it was a tree mansion. The sheer size of the building could dwarf even MetalGreymon, not to mention the open windows all around, letting the group see outside.
“Sora! You got to see this!” Biyomon called out, having recovered from the battle. The Digidestined (minus Tai) all headed over to some of the open windows and gasped. The mansion was at the top of a massive tree, which was at the center of a relatively large island. The island had many different areas ranging in snowy tundras, scorching deserts, and lush rainforests. It reminded them all of File Island.
“Hey, look over there!” Veemon pointed out to sea. The humans and partners looked in his direction, and gasped as they saw out in the distance the very island that started their adventures.
“Is that File Island?” Matt asked in amazement.
“Indeed it is Matt-y,” Tai said teasingly. All of the Digidestined turned towards Tai once more, still incredibly shocked by his new form. “Welcome to Neo Island, sort of my new home-away-from-home.”
“What do you mean?” Gabumon questioned.
“Simple, this is my new base of operations,” Tai replied. “It’s where I’ll be staying in the Digital World when there’s no evil to fight.”
“Okay, I’m confused here,” Joe said rubbing his head.
“You’re not the only one Joe,” Gomamon agreed, doing the exact same thing as his partner.
“I guess I should give you guys the full explanation before talking anymore of the perks,” Tai replied. “Let’s talk in the living area.” Tai motioned the group to follow him as he walked away. Elecmon and Agumon followed quickly, but the female Patamon looked at the group with a hard glare before turning away. The group looked at each other in confusion before following their leader. Tai led them to a large living area with an assortment of couches, small tables, and a large flat-screen TV. Tai sat on one of the couches and the humans and digimon all sat around in a circle. “Everyone comfortable?” the group nodded. “Okay, so what do you guys want to know?”
“How about how the hell did you become a Digimon?” Yolie asked first.
“Oh good grief,” Hawkmon groaned, embarrassed by his partner’s lack of tact.
Tai chuckled lightly and shook his head. “Alright, that sounds fair. Well, I guess the best place to start is from when I was still human. Earlier today I came to the Digital World, you know, to relax and clear my head of a couple of things.” Tai heard Pata give off a small growl, but petted her to calm her.
“What do you mean, Tai?” Kari asked.
“Nothing important,” Tai replied lightly. However, most of them did not believe it. Most of the Digimon partners knew why Tai was in the Digital World, but said nothing.
“Why were you clearing your mind?” TK asked.
“None of your business, Hat-boy,” Pata snapped back, surprising the Digidestined and especially TK.
“Pata,” Tai said in a warning tone, but the female Patamon simply kept glaring at the Digidestined. “*sigh* Anyways, I was there for a while when Elecmon here came and told me about this evil Digimon attacking a bunch of baby Digimon. Speaking of which, what did you do with them Elecmon?”
“I sent them back to their village,” the red/blue Digimon replied.
Tai nodded back. “Well, as it turns out, the evil Digimon attacking them was Roguemon,” he said, and all of the Digidestined and their partners froze, remembering the twisted Digimon. “I needed to get him away from the baby Digimon, so I led him away into a forest.”
“Why didn’t Agumon fight him?” Davis asked.
“I wasn’t with Tai at the moment, but he did send Pata to get me,” Agumon replied. Out of all of them, only Gabumon and Gatomon seemed to sense a difference in Agumon’s voice and scent.
“Yeah, so I lead Roguemon into the forest and hid, trying to buy some time,” Tai continued. “Actually, as it turns out, he knew who I was. From what he said, he was sent to kill all the Digidestined.” The tension in the room was so thick not even MetalGreymon Mega Claw could cut through it. They all knew that Roguemon said he wanted to kill them, but hearing it from Tai was like a hammer hitting glass. “Anyways, while I hid, Agumon came with Pata and Elecmon, and tried to fight Roguemon as Greymon. However, Roguemon was just too strong.”
“I’ll say, he wiped the floor with all of us without even trying,” Davis said sadly. “Not only that, he made so that it’s impossible for our Digimon to DNA digivolve anymore.”
“That is a problem,” Tai said, putting his hand to his chin in thought. “But I think I might be able to fix that.”
“Really Tai? How?” Ken asked.
“In a minute, I still need to finish my story,” Tai said to the group. “Anyways, like I said, Roguemon was too strong for Greymon at the moment. I tried to draw his fire, but Elecmon and Pata got in the way. They got hit as well, so I was all alone in facing Roguemon.”
The silence was almost painful. No one dared speak, not that they could even muster the words. The words Roguemon spoke about their leader still rang in their ears like police sirens, blaring so powerfully nearly none of them could breathe. All of them, Digidestined and Digimon desperately hoped that Roguemon was lying, that Tai was alright, that this transformation as a Digimon was some sort of power of the Digivice, but the longer the silence dragged, the more painful the realization was becoming. It became nearly unbearable, when Tai finally spoke the words that even he dreaded saying.
“Roguemon killed me,” Tai said softly, but still loud enough for everyone to hear. “He didn’t delete me, he didn’t blast me, he just ran his claws through my stomach and left me for dead on the forest floor.”
The words seemed to take an eternity to sink in. Even though it was obvious that Tai was alive now and with them, the pain in realizing their friend and leader had died, and no one was around to help him, it just became all the more horrifying.
“Not that any of you would care,” Pata growled, snapping the Digidestined and their partners from the initial shock into even more shock.
“Pata!” Tai said in a scolding tone.
“NO!” The angry Digimon yelled back at Tai. “No! I want them to feel all the pain that I felt. I want them to feel all the pain that YOU felt! This wouldn’t have happened if they had been there! Heck, if they were really your friends, you wouldn’t have been in the Digital World and you wouldn’t have died. It’s painful for me to see you come all the time crying because they are so horrible to you. They’ve all been ignoring you and making you feel bad while you go around helping this world and none of them even notice! None of them were there to see you lying in a pool of your own blood! None of them were there to cry so hard that they felt like they were going to die! They weren’t there, and it’s their fault! They made you feel bad, and if it wasn’t for them, you wouldn’t have been there and wouldn’t have been killed by Roguemon!”
Tears streamed down the Rookie’s eyes, showing all the pain she had hidden. After the fight, she had woken up to see Tai’s bloody and beaten body and felt like she was dying herself. The sight alone tore her apart. She cried into Tai’s chest, sobbing as the Digi-male was patting her back.
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” Tai said in a whispering loving tone. He ran his hands down her body, giving the small Digimon the comfort that she need. He hugged her tight, letting her sob into his body. Elecmon and Agumon had their own tears, and were hugging their partner just the same. While this happened, the Digidestined stared, completely confused by what had happened. All but one.
Sora knew what Pata had meant. She came to the realization when Tai had saved her from death. Biyomon had said something about making time for his friends, and she realized that both Biyomon and Patamon were right. Tai made time for his friends. Whenever they needed him, he was there in the blink of an eye. Sora knew this better than any of them, considering how many times Tai had been there for her. But when it came to being there for Tai, she had to admit she was nowhere as good a friend. She could only imagine all the times Tai may have needed her help, only to be turned down. What made it worse was that Tai never asked for help. As his supposedly-best friend, she was supposed to instantly know when Tai was in need of help, and she never did. She was so focused on herself, she never realized how much she had hurt Tai in the process. However, seeing Pata cry into Tai’s chest, it gave her a little idea, and that only made her feel worse.
“She’s right,” Sora whispered, just barely loud enough for the other Digidestined and their partners to hear. “None of us were there for Tai. Hell, none of us even knew he was in the Digital World until we came here. If we had, maybe we could have been there and helped him, or at least tried to save him from Roguemon.”
“Sora, don’t blame yourself,” Tai said having heard her words. “It’s Roguemon’s fault, no one else’s.”
“Maybe, but I can’t deny I’ve been a horrible friend,” Sora finally admitted aloud. “You’ve always been there for me Tai. Through thick and thin, you always made sure I was alright no matter what. And how did I repay it, by completely ignoring you and taking you for granted! You’ve helped me through some of my worst times, and I never even saw that you were hurting. What kind of best friend does that make me?”
“Sora, that’s not tru-“ Tai tried to speak.
“It is true Tai,” Sora cut him off. “I’ve been a horrible friend. No matter what, you are always there, and I never even took the time to notice that you were hurting even more.”
Sora and Tai kept going back and forth, forgetting about the other Digidestined and their partners. “Pata is right you know,” Gabumon said, surprising the Digidestined. “Tai has been feeling bad, and he’s hidden it from all of you.”
“W-What?” Kari said, her voice in utter shock. When Pata started screaming, she was frightened, and when Sora started saying how she was a horrible friend, she was confused.
“None of you have noticed, but you’re all pulling away from each other,” Gabumon said, feeling it was time for the truth to be revealed. “Ever since what happened with Armageddemon, Tai’s been coming here feeling lonely and unwanted. Not only that, he’s been having some seriously concerning thoughts about his future and it’s all been tearing him apart inside.”
“Well, why didn’t he tell us?” Joe asked.
“He tried, but some people were too busy yelling at him instead,” Gomamon growled, giving Joe the angriest glare he had ever seen. Joe flinched, realizing Gomamon was right. Tai had called him plenty of times, and most of the time he would just ignore him, tell him he was busy, or just yell at him. Were all those times Tai calling to him for help? For someone to lend a helping hand? Joe slunked down, feeling worse.
“He also felt like he was distracting you all from your own futures,” Tentomon said, surprising the group. “Izzy, Tai’s told me he felt like he was distracting you, that he shouldn’t bother you since you had such a promising future.”
“What? That’s ridiculous!” Izzy exclaimed in shock. “I would never think of Tai as a distraction. He’s one of the best friends I ever had. Heck, next to you Tentomon, he was the first REAL friend I ever had. He trusted me more than I did in myself!”
“And he felt the same with you Mimi,” Palmon told the pink-haired girl.
“What?!” Mimi practically screamed. “Why would Tai think that? He’s one of my best friends. Heck, he’s then only one other than Sora who’s spent time with me since I moved back to Japan.”
“He feels as though he is nothing more than a wall blocking your path,” Tentomon replied.
“It also doesn’t help that you’re all pulling away from each other,” Gomamon said, crossing his arms-er-claws. “Some team.”
“Gomamon,” Gabumon scolded.
“No, he’s right,” Matt said, surprising the group. “We’ve all been pulling away from one another. We’ve all been so focused on ourselves, we’ve been neglecting on our friendships. The only one who’s been at least trying to keep us together was Tai.” Matt’s words seemed to sink into the others, making them all realize that he was indeed right. “Damn it all, I am such an idiot. Tai’s supposed to be my best friend! He’s been to pretty much all my concerts and I haven’t been to one of his soccer games in years! What kind of friend does that make me?”
“No better than I was,” Joe admitted. “Gomamon’s right. All I’ve done to Tai is yell at him when he probably just wanted some help. So much for the damn Crest of Reliability.”
“We’ve all been pulling away from each other,” Izzy agreed. “Tai’s the only one I’ve kept in contact with, and even then I don’t always try to. I guess I just lost sight of what was important.”
“Me too,” TK admitted. “Tai’s always been like another big brother for me, and I really didn’t try to help him at all.”
“Us too,” Yolie admitted. “We’ve all been so focused on school and crap, we haven’t really gotten together that much.” Cody, Ken and Davis all nodded.
Mimi wasn’t in the same boat as the others, being the only one to try keep their group together other than Tai, but even she had to admit she hadn’t really done a lot. Even then, she felt like she should have been there more for Tai, to let him know that she was still his friend and she still cared for her.
Out of all of the Digidestined, none of them felt anywhere near as close as Kari did. When Angewomon was captured by Roguemon, all Kari wanted to do was for her big brother to come save the day. When she did, she realized she had not felt that way in a long time. She realized that she did not need her brother a lot since the end of their battles, but at the same time, she stopped seeing if he needed her. No matter what, she was always there for him and he was there for her, even when she didn’t want it. But as of late she had stopped going to him, and even more terrifying, she stopped looking out for him. She saw him every day, but she stopped seeing if he needed help or if he was feeling sad. She stopped looking out for her big brother. The very thought of that made her nearly want to burst into tears. How many times had Tai needed an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, a sister for him to hold? And to know that this led to the fact that she nearly lost him forever? The more Kari thought about it, the more she realized she had been a horrible sister.
Gatomon felt in no ways better. Out of all the Digimon partners, she had been the only one left out of the loop. She was just as oblivious as Kari, and she cursed herself for it. She was one of the smartest and most perceptive of the partners, and yet she didn’t notice how Tai was feeling. Tai always treated her like part of the family, like she belonged there. He was the first to truly believe that she and Kari were meant to be partners and supported it all the way while the others still doubted her. How could she have been so blind?!
The Digidestined would have continued to wallow in their self-pity when – “OW! Let go of my wing Sora!” Tai yelled, trying to pull one of his sky blue wings from Sora’s surprisingly strong grip.
“Not until you admit I was a horrible friend!” Sora called back, keeping her hold on the wing. She had to admit, Tai had some pretty soft feathers.
“Never!” Tai yelled back, trying to pull said wing out. Pata, Elecmon and Agumon were watching with interest and confusion.
After several seconds of this, Matt broke out in laughter. Tai and Sora stopped their arguing and look to Matt. All of them looked at him like he had grown a second head. Finally, Matt managed to calm himself and smiled. “Seriously, we’re all here feeling sorry for ourselves, and you two are arguing about who was the worse friend like a couple of kids.”
Tai and Sora blinked, then looked at each other, and began to laugh as well. The situation was silly, and the two of them fell back laughing with Matt joining in. the others and the Digimon continued to stare in utter confusion.
“Hahahaha…thanks Matt,” Tai said lightly as he managed to calm down. “I needed that.”
“No problem Tai,” Matt replied. “Just, making up for lost time.”
Tai gave him a confused look, and noticed that the others had similar expressions. He looked to Gabumon, who gave him a nod. Tai instantly knew what had happened while he and Sora were arguing. They all knew the truth.
“Tai, we’re all really sorry,” Matt said, surprising Tai even further. “Even with the rest of us going our separate ways, you still tried to keep us connected. We should have all made more time.”
“N-No, it wasn’t you’re guys’ fault,” Tai tried to say, but Matt held up his hand.
“Tai, we’ve all been pretty lousy friends,” Matt said seriously.
“Yeah, we should’ve seen how our actions were affecting you, and ourselves too,” Izzy agreed.
“And even with all that, you still tried to be the glue that kept us together,” Joe admitted.
“Even if you don’t agree with us Tai, we’ve all been pretty bad friends to you,” Matt continued. “We can argue about this until we’re all covered in bruises, but for what it’s worth Tai, we’re sorry.”
Tai stared at the group, surprised and awes. All of them were in agreement with Matt, each giving them a confirming smile. The only ones not included were Kari and Gatomon, who continued to look down. Tai, being an expert on all things Kari, could see tears beginning to form in her eyes. He walked over to her and kneeled down. “Hey Kar, what’s wrong?” he whispered, lifting her chin to meet her eyes.
Looking at her brothers now-blue eyes, Kari felt herself break down. She embraced Tai with all her might as the tears streamed down her face. “I-I’m s-so s-sorry Tai!” She sobbed into her big brother’s shoulder. “I-I’ve been s-so horrible! I-I should h-have seen y-you were i-in pain, b-but I was t-too s-stupid to realize i-it.”
“Kari!” Tai said in a surprisingly scolding tone as he pulled away from Kari. He gave her a hard look that confused her. “Let’s get some things straight here Kari. 1- You are NOT a horrible sister.” Kari tried to counter, but Tai continued. “2- If I EVER hear you call yourself stupid ever again, I will lock you in our room with only mom’s cooking for a week.” Kari blinked in confusion, utterly stunned by Tai’s words. Suddenly, Tai’s hard stare turned into his trademark grin, and Kari found herself unable to not smile back. “There’s my little sister.”
“Oh Tai,” Kari whispered back as she hugged Tai once more, happy to feel his warmth once more. “I’m so sorry Tai. I was so blind.”
“No worries sis, it happens to the best of us,” Tai whispered back reassuringly. “Though, it wouldn’t hurt to check on some glasses.” That made Kari laugh and hug her brother even tighter.
After a few minutes the two pulled away, each still looking at the other’s eyes, knowing that their sibling bond had been renewed. “Tai,” Sora spoke from behind. Tai looked at them all and smiled.
“I forgive you all,” Tai said lightly, surprising the group. “Seriously, would you actually expect me to hold a grudge?”
“Nope,” Matt replied. “Tai doesn’t get angry, he gets even. Like that time you put glue in my car seat.”
“For the record, that was only because you switched my shampoo with toothpaste,” Tai shot back. “Though, my hair did smell minty fresh for a week.”
Sora laughed lightly and shook her head. “Same old stupid Tai,” she laughed.
“You love me anyways,” Tai said with a cheeky grin.
‘You have no idea,’ Sora admitted in her mind.
“Well, now that we got all the settled, let’s get back to the story,” Tai said, retaking his seat. This time, Kari sat right next to him, refusing to leave her brother’s side. “Where was I, oh yeah; after Roguemon killed me, I found myself in this weird white void called the In-Between.”
“What’s that?” Cody asked.
“I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s sort of the boundary between life and death in the Digital World,” Tai replied. “Anyways, I was then approached by a large and mysterious digimon called AncientGreymon.”
“You met AncientGreymon?!” Biyomon said in shock.
“Who’s that Biyo?” Sora asked.
“He’s one of the ancient Digimon that helped make the Digital World. He is also considered to be the first Greymon.”
“That’s what he told me,” Tai continued. “He told me that my time was not over in the land of the living, and he told me that since I died in the Digital World, there was a chance for me to return. However, there was a catch.” The others all looked at him in concern, wondering what he meant. “I had to give up my humanity.”
“What do you mean Tai?” Izzy asked.
“I couldn’t get reborn as my human self,” Tai replied. “The only way for me to return was as a Digimon.” Tai’s wings and tail twitched slightly to emphasize his point.
“Wait, are you telling us you’re stuck like this…forever?” Davis asked in shock.
Tai gave a grave nod in confirmation. “Yep. I am now and forever will be a Digimon,” he said surprising the group. “Even though I knew I would never be normal again, that didn’t matter to me. I knew that I would need to help you guys fight Roguemon, so giving up my humanity was a small price to pay.”
Those words didn’t make the Digidestined feel any better. Their friend willingly came back for them from death, willing to sacrifice his human life forever.
“Anyways,” Tai continued. “After I that, I woke up back in the forest where Roguemon left us, and somehow I just knew where you guys were. Lucky that I came in just at the right time.”
“I’ll say,” Sora admitted. “You saved me and Biyomon, again.”
“Eh, it was nothing,” Tai said lightly. He then straightened up and looked at the group. “So, now that you guys know how I exactly became this, any other questions?”
Veemon raised his arm, surprising the group. Tai nodded to the blue dragon. “I was wondering, well, how exactly did you get Agumon, Patamon and Elecmon to Digivolve? I mean, the only Digidestined we ever met that had more than one partner was Willis.”
“Ah, I’m glad you asked Veemon,” Tai said with a big grin. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out the same device he used. “Everyone, let me introduce you all to the D-Link.”
“D-Link?” most of the group repeated.
“Yep,” Tai replied. “When my body was reformatted, my Digivice was too. This things has a lot of cool features. Firstly, it lets me get more than one Digimon partner and Digivolve them.”
“So that means that Elecmon and Pata are your partners now along with Agumon?” Mimi asked.
“That right Meems,” Tai replied.
“And can you get more?” Davis asked rather excitedly.
“You bet Davis,” Tai said with a wink. “The D-Link gains its powers from the bonds between partners. Depending on how strong the bond is between me and my Digimon will determine how strong they can get and how far they can Digivolve.”
“Whoa, that’s amazing Tai. What else can that thing do?” Cody asked.
“How about I show you,” Tai said with a sly grin. “Matt, you mind handing me your Digivice?”
Matt gave Tai a skeptical look, but did as Tai asked. Tai took the digivice, and touched his D-Link to it. The screen of the D-Link glowed, and a second later so did Matt’s Digivice. Matt’s Digivice then changed color, turning into a deep blue, similar to when Gabumon went ultimate or mega. The glowing ceased, and Tai handed the Digivice back to Matt. “Tai, what did you do?”
“I feel strange,” Gabumon said. Suddenly, his entire body was consumed in light.
Gabumon Warp Digivolve too… METALGARURUMON!
Gabumon was now replaced by a large metal wolf that the Digidestined never thought they’d see again. They all turned to Tai who was smirking.
“Not only does the D-Link give me a boost, but I can also make it so you guys can Digivolve your Digimon to Ultimate and Mega, without the crests or DNA digivolution,” Tai said, smirking at the group.
“T-T-Tai! T-This is…it’s…it is…” Izzy tried to talk but his words did not come out.
“Prodigous?” Tai said with a smirk.
“Exactly!”
“Wow Tai, that’s awesome!” Davis said in amazement.
“I’ll say, is there anything that D-Link can’t do?” Yolie said, marveling at MetalGarurumon.
“Well, I still can’t figure out how to install Donkey Madness,” Tai said with a cheeky grin.
“Tai!” Sora yelled back, but found herself unable to hold back her laughter.
“This is amazing Tai,” Kari said, hugging her brother. “Now we will all be able to stand strong together.”
“Yeah, because we’ll need it,” Tai said, his voice taking a grave tone that everyone knew meant bad news. “As much as I wish this could simply be all good stuff, I’m afraid that things are not as calm as they appear to be.”
“What do you mean Tai?” Ken asked.
“Roguemon was sent to kill us, so that means someone much more powerful must have sent him,” Tai said gravely. “AncientGreymon pretty much confirmed this to me as well. We’re in for another big battle guys.”
“Again? Can’t we ever catch a break?” Yolie groaned.
“Yolie, it’s been over a year since what happened with MaloMyotismon and Armageddemon,” Tai said with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah, well…never mind,” the helmeted girl replied.
Tai shook his head. “Anyways, I get the feeling that Roguemon was only the first of the possible new enemies that may have risen. I plan to fight these enemies, but I do not intend to force any of you to fight. I can pretty much handle this myself, so you call go home and be saf-”
“Stop right there Kamiya!” Sora growled, surprising the angel-boy. “If you think for one minute that I’m letting you go through this alone, then you got another thing coming!”
“That goes double for me!” Biyomon exclaimed, flying next to Sora.
“Don’t you dare think I’m missing out on this either!” Mimi said sternly. Palmon stood in agreement.
“I’m staying too,” Kari said, clinging even tighter to her brother.
“Sorry Tai, but you’re outnumbered, because we’re all standing behind you 100 percent,” Matt said, getting nods of agreement from the other Digidestined and Digimon.
Tai sat in surprise and amazement. He found himself slowly smiling and nodding. “Well, I guess that solves that problem. Anyways, as I said I plan to fight these new enemies, and even though I know you guys have my back, I’ll need to start building an army to fight against this enemy. The main problem we always faced was that we were either outnumbered or underpowered. If we want any chance to beating this mysterious new enemy, we will need more allies. We will also need to start training.”
“Training?” Davis asked in confusion.
“Through every one of our battle, we were always just barely able to make it out, and most of the time it was because of a stroke of luck. We can’t rely on luck anymore, and our Digimon can get so much stronger than they are if they actually trained. We need to be at our best, and I plan to make sure that we’re all there.”
“And we’re all behind you Tai, right guys?” Matt asked the group, all of which nodded in agreement.
“Alright then,” Tai said with his normal big smile. “I guess that’s everything.”
“Wait Tai, what about this place?” TK said, gesturing to the large home.
“Oh right, I nearly forgot,” Tai replied. “Well, this place is sort of my new secret base. There’s a powerful force field that covers the island which protects it and keeps it invisible from sight, so that’s why we never saw it. When I was reborn, I suppose AncientGreymon gave me this knowledge so we’d have a safe place to come to if we’re ever stuck or need to stay in the Digital World. What makes it better is that only I can let us come here. Meaning no one can come here without my OK.”
“Wow Tai, I’m impressed,” Izzy said with pride. “You’ve really come a long way since our first adventure.”
“Thanks Izzy,” Tai replied with a grin. “Now, before we get move on any further, I think we should start getting you guys up to speed.” Tai rose from his seat, Kari still at his side. “Let’s go to the training area, which should be more than enough room for our Digimon.” None of the others understood what Tai meant, but followed anyways.
They followed him through the new Digital home, and as they did they saw several of the other rooms available. There was a large pool, kitchen, and dining area more than big enough for all of them, and many bedrooms. They eventually reached the gym, which had many different types of training equipment. One side of the room was a wall made of glass, which allowed clear view to outside. It was large enough to hold possibly 3 Armageddemon.
“Alright, let’s get started,” Tai replied as he turned to the group. “Everyone, hold out your Digivices. Matt, you too.” The others all nodded and did as told. Tai held out his D-link and said, “Now, Link UP!”
The screen of the D-Link shine bright, and several beams of light each struck the other Digidestineds’ digivices. They all changed color as followed.
Sora’s turned red
Izzy’s turned purple
Mimi’s turned light green
Joe’s turned grey
TK’s D-3 turned gold with green grips
Kari’s turned pink with white grips
Davis’s turned blue with red grips
Yolie’s turned red with white grips
Cody’s turned yellow with white grips
Ken’s turned green with black grips
Once all the Digivices were now changed, the beams disappeared and the light dimmed, revealing their upgraded Digivices.
“Whoa, this is cool!” Davis said in amazement as he examined his D-3.
“I’ll say,” Yolie agreed, looking at her own. “So now our Digimon can reach ultimate on their own?”
“Not exactly,” Tai replied, confusing the group. “You can only Digivolve as far as your bonds will allow. That’s what the D-Link does, it ‘links’ you together. The stronger your bond, the further your Digimon can digivolve. Example- Patamon Warp!”
Patamon Warp Digivolve to… SERAPHIWOMON!
After a bright burst of light, Pata was replaced by a shining angel in blue armor and ten golden wings and long golden hair.
“Whoa,” TK’s Patamon said in awe.
“Y-Yeah,” TK agreed. He had seen Patamon’s mega form before, but never as a female. He had to admit, Seraphiwomon was beautiful.
“Sorry boys, I’m taken,” Seraphiwomon said teasingly as she de-digivolved back to Patamon and sat on Tai’s head and smirked.
“Pata, behave yourself,” Tai said rolling his eyes. “Also, dependent on how strong your bond is, your Digimon might gain different evolutions.”
“Different evolution lines?” Mimi asked curiously.
“Yeah, different circumstances can lead to different types of digivolutions and different form,” Tai replied. “For example, Agumon normally Digivolves into Greymon, but if the circumstances were different, he could Digivolve into Tyrannomon, Meramon, heck it’s even possible he can digivolve into Garurumon.” All the Digidestined stared at Tai in surprised, imagining the possibilities. “But before we get too far, let’s do some test drives. Matt, would you like to start?”
“Sure Tai, what do you have planned?” Matt asked.
“Just make Gabumon digivolve through each level until you reach Mega,” Tai replied.
“But Tai, I can only go from Gabumon straight to MetalGarurumon,” Gabumon tried to answer.
“That is false,” Tai said with a grin. “All Warp Digivolution is you ‘warping’ past you Champion and Ultimate forms. You can still Digivolve from Ultimate to Mega, a lot of Digimon we have met have done it.”
“He’s right Gabumon, let’s give it a try,” Matt said to his partner.
“Alright Matt,” Gabumon agreed. Matt nodded and held out his Digivice and the screen glowed.
Gabumon Digivolve to…GARURUMON!
Standing where Gabumon was his champion form, Garurumon. “Alright, let’s try Champion now,” Matt said.
Garurumon Blast Digivolve to…WEREGARURUMON!
Garurumon was now replaced by a larger bipedal werewolf Digimon with pants and armor. “Ooh, does it feel good to be in this form again,” WereGarurumon said, clenching his fists.
“Now let’s see if Tai’s right,” Matt said, holding out his Digivice once more.
WereGarurumon Warp Digivolve to…METALGARURUMON!
The blue metal wolf howled with power as he reached his strongest form once more. All the Digidestined stood in amazement at the sight of the metal wolf.
“Wow, Tai was right!” Yolie said in awe.
“Like you’re surprise,” Tai said with a smirk.
“Oh be quiet Tai,” Sora laughed.
Tai shook his head. “Okay then Sora, let’s see you give it a try.”
“Alright then. You ready Biyo?” Sora asked her partner.
“Always Sora!” Biyomon said with a big grin. Sora nodded and held out her own Digivice.
Biyomon Digivolve to…Birdramon Blast Digivolve to…GARUDAMON!
Replacing Biyomon was now her ultimate form, a large red humanoid bird Digimon with large red wings. She let out a powerful cry that caused the others to cover their ears.
“Garudamon!” Sora screamed, covering her ears.
“Oops, sorry Sora,” Garudamon said in embarrassment.
Tai merely rolled his eyes. “Okay then. Now, since Biyomon has never reached her Mega form before, it might be a bit difficult. So, in order to see if her and Sora’s bond is strong enough, you’re going to be put to your very limit. The only way I can see this is by putting you against another Mega digimon. But we’ll worry about that later. Izzy, you’re up!”
“Okay Tai, you ready Tentomon?” Izzy asked his insectoid companion.
“Does Gabumon’s coat smell when he gets wet?” Tentomon replied.
“Hey, I resent that!” MetalGarurumon growled.
Izzy rolled his eyes and held out his Digivice, the screen glowed brightly.
Tentomon Digivolve to…Kabuterimon Blast Digivolve to…MEGAKABUTERIMON!
Replacing the small red bug Digimon was an even larger red bug Digimon with a massive horn on his head. “Whoa, this place really is roomy,” MegaKabuterimon said, surprised by the large amount of room they still had despite having the two largest of the Ultimate Digimon.
“Nice job Izzy,” Tai grinned. “Alright then, who want to go next?”
“Oh me! Me!” Palmon exclaimed happily.
“Okay then, Mimi, do your stuff,” Tai said to the pink haired girl.
“Whatever you say handsome,” Mimi teased, causing Tai to blush and the others to look at her oddly. She held out her Digivice and the screen glowed bright.
Palmon Digivolve to…Togemon Blast Digivolve to…LILLYMON!
Replacing Palmon was a pink flower pixie that flew around happily. She flew down to Tai and gave him a strong hug. “Oh thank you Tai! Thank you! Thank You!”
“Heh, no problem,” Tai said nervously as the pink, and rather attractive, Digimon hugged him. Eventually she pulled away and flew back next to Mimi. “Alright then, Joe, how about you go next.”
“Alright Tai, you ready to go Gomamon?” Joe asked his aquatic partner.
“You bet Joe!” Gomamon said, itching to join his friends as Joe held out his Digivice.
Gomamon Digivolve to…Ikkakumon Blast Digivolve to…ZUDOMON!
Gomamon was now replaced by a large shelled tusked digimon with a large hammer in one hand. “Oh baby, boy I’ve missed this thing,” Zudomon said, swinging his hammer around.
“Watch it Zudomon!” MegaKabuterimon growled as he was nearly hit by the hammer.
“Sorry.”
“Alright then,” Tai said, ignoring Zudomon’s foolishness. “TK, Kari told me that Patamon once Digivolved into his Mega form. Is that true?”
“Yeah, it was back when we met Willis. I’m still not sure how it happened,” TK replied.
“I used all my power to Warp Digivolve,” Patamon replied. “That’s why neither Gatomon nor I attacked Kokomon, we used all our power to get to Mega and create the golden Digieggs, so we had no strength to attack.”
“So that explains it,” Cody said, having wondered why the two never done it before.
“Well, either way, you still managed to reach your Mega form, so if you might have an easier time than the others,” Tai replied. “I want you to try and do it, but again, take it one step at a time, okay?”
“Okay Tai,” TK replied. “You ready Patamon?”
“Ready!”
Patamon Digivolve to…Angemon Blast Digivolve to…MagnaAngemon Warp Digivolve to…SERAPHIMON!
Replacing Patamon was the celestial angel digimon Seraphimon. All the others stared in awe at the angelic Digimon as he stood proudly next to TK.
“Whoa, I got to admit, that’s cool,” Davis said in awe.
“Yeah,” Ken agreed.
“Well done TK, I’m proud of you,” Tai said with a grin. “You too Patamon.” Both Seraphimon and TK rubbed the back of their head in embarrassment, happy to have made Tai proud. “Alright Kari, your next. I want you to do the same as TK. Think you and Gatomon can do it?”
“I know we can, you ready to make Tai proud Gatomon?” Kari asked, extremely excited to make her big brother proud of her.
“You bet!” Gatomon replied, feeling just the same as Kari. Kari’s digivice glowed bright. At the same time, so did Gatomon’s tail-ring. Tai was the only one to notice this.
Gatomon Blast Digivolve to…Angewomon Warp Digivolve to…OPHANIMON!
Replacing Gatomon was another celestial angel Digimon, one with green armor, ten golden wings, a golden lance and shield and long golden hair.
“Huh?” Yolie said in confusion. “I thought Gatomon’s Mega form was Magnadramon.”
“Yeah, so did I,” Cody agreed. “Who’s this?”
“Ophanimon,” Tai replied, surprising the group. “One of the three holy Celestial Angel Digimon. Like Magnadramon, she is also one of Gatomon’s main Mega forms. I actually expected this.”
“Really Tai?” Davis asked, voicing the entire groups’ confusion.
“Yep,” Tai replied. “Kari, when Gatomon first turned into Magnadramon that was before you guys fought Ken and Kimeramon, right?
“Yeah, it was at the same time Patamon turned into Seraphimon the first time when we met Willis,” Kari replied.
“And wasn’t Gatomon still missing her tail ring at that time?” Tai said, raising his eyebrow. Kari nodded. “Well there’s your answer.”
“I don’t follow,” Joe said in confusion.
“It’s simple Joe,” Tai replied. “You see, Gatomon was missing her tail ring around that time. Because of this, she lacked a good portion of her holy power. Because of this, and the fact that she used up all her own power to digivolve at the time, she instead turned into Magnadramon, one of the four Great Dragons.” Surprisingly, all the Digidestined could hardly believe how much the statement made sense. “However, since Gatomon has turned into Magnadramon before, she should still be able to. Kari, I want you to say Digi-Slide.”
“Digi-Slide?” Kari repeated. Suddenly, her Digivice glowed, and so did Ophanimon.
Ophanimon Slide Digivolve to…MAGNADRAMON!
Ophanimon was replaced by a large pink furry dragon with horns and many wings. This was Magnadramon, Gatomon’s other Mega form.
“Holy cow,” Davis said in awe.
“I’ll say,” Veemon agreed.
“Tai, what just happened? Did Ophanimon Digivolve?” Sora asked.
“Not exactly,” Tai replied. “Ophanimon just went through something called Slide Digivolution. It’s basically just changing into a Digimon of the same level. Now, Gatomon has the choice to turn into either one of her Mega form and switch between them at Kari’s will.”
“Tai, this is amazing!” Kari said in utter awe. “T-Thank you.”
Tai smiled and nodded. “No problem sis,” he said lovingly. He then turned to the four remaining Digidestined. “Alright, now it’s time for the four of you to get up to speed.”
“But Tai, none of our Digimon have ever made it to Ultimate on their own,” Ken stated. “What if we can’t do it?”
“That’s only if you believe you can’t,” Tai replied. “Remember, how far your partner can Digivolve depends on how strong your bond is. I’m not saying you can go straight to Mega yet, but if you want my opinion, I believe you can ALL make it to Ultimate no problem. You just have to believe in each other.”
“Tai’s right!” Davis said courageously. “We’ve always stood strong no matter what. If Tai believes in us, then so do I! You ready Veemon?”
“Ready Davis!” Veemon replied, itching to get into the fun as well.
Tai smiled proudly. “I knew I could count on you Davis,” Tai said with pride in his voice. “Now, show them what we leaders are made of!”
“You got it Tai!” Davis exclaimed, his Digivice glowing bright, brighter than ever before.
Veemon Digivolve to…ExVeemon Blast Digivolve to…PAILDRAMON!
Standing where Veemon stood was the large armored dragon Digimon known as Paildramon. All the Digidestined (minus Tai) stood in shock.
“P-Paildramon?! But that’s impossible! We didn’t DNA Digivolve!” Wormmon said in shock.
“Not quite Wormmon,” Tai said, gaining the other’s attention. “You see, DNA Digivolution is similar to normal Digivolution, the only difference is that it has two Digimon sharing their power to create one form. However, what form they create is dependent of the Digimon themselves. However, that doesn’t mean the forms they make cannot be reached on their own. In actuality, Paildramon IS ExVeemon’s true ultimate form, just as Silphymon is Hawkmon’s and Shakkuomon is Armadillomon’s.”
“But what about Wormmon?” Ken asked.
“Well, we’ll just have to see,” Tai said with a wink. “But as I said, all three of those Digimon could be reached on their own without DNA digivolution. All it took was just a bit more power.”
Everyone just stared at Tai like he had a second head. “Tai…” Izzy managed to speak. “H-How did you gain so much knowledge on Digimon and Digivolution?”
“Eh, guess my brain just got an upgrade along with my body,” Tai said lightly. “But then again you can’t really upgrade perfection.” Tai smirked.
“Oh be quiet!” Sora said, failing to hold back her laughter.
Tai rolled his eyes and turned back to Davis. “Davis, I know what I said before about going Mega, but I want you and Paildramon to try it. Think you can do it?”
“We won’t know until we try!” Davis said courageously.
Tai smiled. “That’s what I like to hear.” Davis’s digivice glowed once more, as did Paildramon’s entire body.
Paildramon Warp Digivolve to…IMPERIALDRAMON!
Replacing Paildramon was now the large Mega-level black dragon with big red wings and a cannon on his back. Everyone stood in awe.
“Yes! We did it Imperialdramon!” Davis exclaimed excitedly.
“Well done Davis, I’m proud of you,” Tai said with a nod.
Davis blushed lightly. “Thanks Tai,” he said, very happy to have made his senior (and older brother figure) proud.
Tai nodded back. He then turned to Ken. “Alright Ken, I want you to try and reach Ultimate. Think you can do it?”
“If Davis believed he can, then I’ll try my best!” Ken replied.
“Me too!” Wormmon replied anxiously. Ken’s digivice glowed bright and so did Wormmon.
Wormmon Digivolve to…Stingmon Blast Digivolve to…DINOBEEMON!
Replacing the small green worm was a large dragon-shaped bug Digimon with Stingmon’s face, legs, wings and armor, but with ExVeemon’s ears, arms and tail.
“Whoa!” Davis said in awe. “Who is that?!”
“Dinobeemon,” Tai replied. “A Mutant type Ultimate Digimon. It’s sort of like Paildramon but if Stingmon took a more prominent role. Just like Paildramon, neither Veemon nor Wormmon need to combine to form him, they can on their own. However, while Paildramon is more Veemon’s ultimate form, Dinobeemon is more Wormmon’s.” Everyone stared at Tai once more, utterly amazed by his knowledge. “Now, since Davis was able to reach Mega level, I want you to try Ken.”
“Okay then,” Ken said, holding out his Digivice. “Let’s go Dinobeemon!”
“Right!” Dinobeemon agreed.
Dinobeemon Warp Digivolve to…GRANKUWAGAMON!
Replacing the dragon-shaped bug was a huge black insect Digimon with four legs, large clawed arms, four long wings, and two massive pincers.
“Yikes! What is that?!” Yolie practically screamed.
“GranKuwagamon,” Tai replied. “I giant insectoid Digimon with incredible power, capable of rivaling Imperialdramon. Like Imperialdramon, it has a stronger form as well, but it’s too soon to see if you guys can reach it, so we’ll try another time.” Davis and Ken nodded, knowing Tai to be right.
“I guess that just leaves us,” Cody said, pointing at himself, Armadillomon, Yolie and Hawkmon.
“That’s right Cody, but I want you to do it at the same time. Is that okay?” Tai asked.
“Sure, no problem,” Yolie replied. “You ready Hawkmon?”
“As always Yolie,” Hawkmon replied confidently.
“You ready Armadillomon?” Cody asked his partner.
“Let’s do it to it Cody!” Armadillomon said surely. Yolie and Cody held out their Digivices, making them shine.
Hawkmon Digivolve to…Aquilamon Blast Digivolve to…SILPHYMON!
Armadillomon Digivolve to…Ankylomon Blast Digivolve to…SHAKKUOMON!
Replacing Hawkmon and Armadillomon were their true Ultimate forms, Silphymon and Shakkoumon.
“Well I’ll be an Ogremon’s uncle,” Joe said in awe.
“I can’t believe it,” Mimi said in awe. Never before had all their Digimon looked so strong, so powerful together.
“Well believe it,” Tai smirked. “This is testament to just how strong our bonds truly are, and it is only the beginning.”
“What do you mean Tai?” Kari asked her brother.
“I’ll tell ya later,” Tai said with a wink. “It’s getting late, and I’m pretty sure you all need to go home.”
“Tai’s right,” Izzy said, looking at his watch. “It’s getting really late, we should all head home.”
“But how? There’s no Digiport here?” TK asked.
“I can handle it,” Tai replied, holding out his D-Link. “My D-Link also happens to be a portable Digiport. I can send you all back through whichever gate you went to.”
“Really? Thanks Tai,” Davis said with a big smile. At the same time, all the Digimon de-digivolved into their Rookie forms, with the exception of Gatomon.
“But Tai? What about you?” Sora asked. “I mean, what will you do when we get home?”
Almost instantly, Tai’s face fell. He let out a soft sigh as he looked at the group. “I’m not going back,” he said softly yet loud enough for everyone to hear. “Let’s face it guys, my life back there is over. It pretty much ended when I decided to become a Digimon.”
“B-B-But Tai! W-What about mom and dad?!” Kari tried to reason.
“Mom and Dad are out of town for the month Kari, you know that,” Tai replied. “Besides, I know they love me, and will support me. I’ll tell them the truth when they come back.” He turned to the group, all who had pleading eyes. “Guys, I’ll still be here. If you ever need me, just call me and I’ll be on my way in a millisecond. I’ll be fine, I promise. And don’t I always keep my promises?” Tai gave them all a knowing glace.
They all knew it was true. Tai had never broken a promise in his life, which was much better than most of them had. Despite the fact that they did not want Tai to remain alone, they all knew that he was right. Even though Digimon were more common in the human world, there was still some tension, not to mention all the controversy and craziness that would come if the world knew that Tai died and was reborn as a Digimon.
“Tai’s right,” Davis said somberly. Everyone looked at him in surprise. “I mean, we can’t change this, and we can’t force him to come with us. He’s stuck as a Digimon, and even though that’s really cool, it will probably be hard to deal with everything in the real world. Besides, this way he can keep an eye on the Digital World and give us a heads up if there’s trouble, which is a lot better than just waiting for Gennai to contact us.”
Everyone stared at Davis in shock, surprised that his statement made so much sense. Tai smirked. “Nicely put Davis.”
Davis rubbed the back of his head shyly. “Thanks Tai.”
Tai nodded and turned to the group. Despite his and Davis’s words, he could tell that they were all still uncertain. It was then an idea got to him. “Hey, how’s everyone’s weekend this week?” Everyone looked at Tai in confusion. “I was just thinking, if everyone is free, perhaps we could have a bit of fun.”
“What kind of fun?” Matt asked.
Tai grinned widely. “How about a 3-day sleepover?” he said, surprising the group. “You guys all come here on Friday and we hang out through Saturday and Sunday. Just us, the original Digidestined and Digimon.” As he said the last part, he made sure to look at the 2nd gen digidestined, letting them know he considered them as part of the original group.
“That’s…” Sora began, and slowly a big smile formed on her face, “…a great idea Tai!”
“Yeah!” Mimi agreed. “It’s been really long since we all did something together. This could be just the thing to get us back into our team spirit!”
“I agree,” Joe said with his own smile. “I don’t have anything planned for this week, so I can definitely come.”
“Me too!” Cody exclaimed. “I just need to ask my mom, but I’m sure she’ll say yes.”
“Same with me,” Yolie replied.
“I think we’re all pretty much in the same boat,” Izzy said, gaining the nods of everyone else.
“Alright then, we have a plan!” Tai declared. “Now just line up, and I’ll send you guys back to where you came from.” The group nodded. The Digimon dedigivolved to their Rookie forms and joined their partners. They were all ready, all except Kari and Gatomon who stood away from the group. “Kari?” Tai asked in concern.
“T-T-Tai,” Kari spoke, her eyes beginning to water. She rushed over and hugged her surprised brother. “T-Tai! Don’t make me leave. I-I nearly lost you today! I don’t want to leave you again! I don’t want to go home without you!” Kari sobbed into Tai’s bare chest, hugging him as tight as her arms would allow.
Tai stared for a second, but then a soft warm smile crossed his face. He wrapped his arms around his sister, hugging her tightly. “Alright Kari, you can stay,” he whispered softly. He felt her hitch a breath, surprised by his statement. She pulled away and stared into her brother’s eyes. They may have been a different color now, but they still held the courageous and kind warmth that her brother always held. Her frown slowly turned upside down as she looked at her brother’s smiling face. They hugged once more, not caring that the others were watching and smiling as well.
They soon parted, and Kari stood next to her brother. “Well guys, you all ready?”
“We are Tai,” Matt replied. All of them did not mind that Tai had let Kari stay. She was his sister, and the two clearly needed to be together through this time.
“Alright, let’s do this.” Tai said as he held out his D-Link. “D-Link Gate!” The screen of the D-Link shined bright, and a white beam shot towards the group. The Digidestined were all consumed in a dome of bright light. The light dispersed a second after, exposing the now vacant area the Digidestined and their partners once occupied.
“Wow,” Gatomon said in awe.
“Hwaaaaw…” Tai yawned loudly, stretching his arms, wings and tail. “Wow, boy am I tired. I tell ya, being reborn really takes it out of ya.”
“Well, it is pretty late,” Kari replied. “Are there any bedrooms here?”
“A lot actually,” Tai replied. “Come on, I’ll show you.”
Tai led his sister and their partners into another part of home. There were a lot of bedrooms, but Kari eventually settled for the one next to where Tai would be sleeping in. She refused to be far from him at any time. Tai understood though.
The two of them and their partners stayed together for a while, just talking and reconnecting. Pata and Elecmon quickly grew fond of Kari, and Kari was grateful to them for keeping her brother company and caring for him. They eventually just ended up watching some TV until Kari’s tiredness caught up to her and she fell asleep on Tai’s shoulder. Gatomon ended up the same. Tai carried them both to their room and tucked them in tight. He kissed her forehead and left the room. Once out, he told his partners he was going to take a bath before going to bed.
“Ah,” Tai said as he reached his personal bath. There were several bathrooms in his new home, all of them resembling modern Earth bathrooms. Tai’s personal bathroom was a lot more natural though. In the center of a large marble tiled floor was a pond surrounded by soft green moss. At the edge of the bath was a natural waterfall, and inside it was a set of warm Magma Stones – special rocks that created their own natural heat, making the pool nice and warm.
Tai proceeded to remove his clothes. He first discarded his boots, exposing his human shaped clawed feet. He then took off the white robes, and then his black pants, exposing his tan striped legs. The last thing to come off was a white jockstrap. He pulled it off, revealing his soft large member. He may not have been a human now, but with the exception of the horns, claws, wings, stripes and tail, his anatomy was still all the same.
Tai eased himself into the water, enjoying the feel of the warm water on his naked skin and feathers. “Ah, just what the doctor ordered,” Tai said in satisfaction as he sunk into the water. He laid inside the pool, enjoying the feel of the peaceful bath.
“Enjoying yourself Tai,” a teasing voice said. Tai opened his eyes to see Agumon standing at the other end of the pool smiling.
“Hey Agumon,” Tai said with a soft smile. “Where are Pata and Elec?”
“They decided to go to bed,” Agumon replied. “Mind if I join you?”
“Not at all, but how you switch to your true form now?” Tai said. Agumon nodded. Tai reached over and grabbed his D-Link and held it towards Agumon. The screen flashed, and Agumon was consumed in a bright light.
When the light died down, Agumon’s true form was revealed. Standing before Tai was an anthropomorphic version of his partner. Instead of the normal three ft., Agumon now stood at 5 ft. with a slightly shorter snout, longer arms and claws, longer legs with thicker thighs, a large round bubbly ass with a short yellow tail, and a set of naked yellow C-cup breasts with dark yellow nipples.
Along with all the other features, Tai’s D-Link had one special secret feature that was a sort of gift given to him by AncientGreymon. Any Digimon Tai claimed would be turned into a sexy female versions of themselves. This was for a special reason.
“I have to say Agumon,” Tai said to his feminine partner. “I kind of prefer your new form a lot more.”
“Yeah, I agree,” Agumon replied as she eased into the bath. She had no problems with the transformation. If anything, it strengthened the bond between her and Tai. “Speaking of which, when do you think it will be okay to tell the others about me and the others?”
“Not sure really,” Tai replied. “I think they need to get through with the fact that I’m a Digimon now. Also, I need to think of a way to get them to be okay with the idea of me having a harem of Digi-girls. But we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, we’ll just use the illusion program on the D-Link to keep you looking like your former-self while in public.”
“I don’t mind Tai,” Agumon replied as she glided across the water. She went up to Tai and wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled softly. “I think my true form should really only be seen by you. It’s a very intimate form after all.”
Tai smiled back softly at his longtime partner. He leaned in, meeting her lips with his own. Agumon pressed her naked breasts to Tai’s chest as she kissed him passionately. Tai’s clawed fingers gently glided along Agumon’s back, tracing her lean muscles until her reached her firm butt. He gave the cheeks a gentle squeeze, getting a soft moan from Agumon.
“Ah…my sweet Agu,” Tai said as he parted from Agumon. She went to his neck, giving him soft kisses along his collar. “A-Ah…ah…” Agu’s claws glided down her chest. Neither were really worried about injuring the other with their claws, as they both now had surprisingly tougher skin. But they both didn’t mind any scratches that would certainly later.
“Tai,” Agu whispered huskily under Tai’s neck. Her heated reptilian tongue glided along the trail of kisses she made. Her left hand went down to Tai’s slowly hardening member. She gently clasped his penis and slowly began to stroke it.
“A-Ah…” Tai gasped softly as Agu stroked his cock. His feathers seemed to ruffle along with the chill of pleasure that went down his spine. His long tail twitched beneath the water as well, writhing as much as his nerves.
Once it was fully hard, Agu stared at Tai’s 12 inch member beneath the water. She had to admit, Tai was definitely big, especially for a humanoid Digimon.
Tai panted heavily. He could feel his hardness pulsing for attention. The sound of something submerging caught his attention. “AH!” Tai moaned loudly as Agu’s mouth wrapped itself around his cock.
One great thing about being a Digimon, even if you’re not a water-based one, you can hold your breath for a really long time. Agu sucked on Tai’s member beneath the water. Even if her snout was a fair bit shorter than before, she could still take it all into her mouth. She was careful with her teeth, but her tongue wrapped and lapped around Tai’s member within her mouth.
“Ah! Agu-eah!” Tai howled as Agu sucked on his cock. Her delicate clawed fingers caressed his balls while she sucked him off. His claws dug into the edge of the tub, his wings were twitching and his tail was swishing inside the water. He was trying to keep his cool, but Agu’s surprisingly skilled tongue and mouth were making it severely difficult. “A-Ah-ha f-fuck! I-I’m g-g-gon-na c-c-cu-AH!”
Agu was surprised when her mouth was suddenly filled with Tai’s hot white spunk. She refused to let any escape her mouth, so her only option was to swallow it all. It was surprisingly really tasty. She swallowed ever bit of Tai’s load, not letting a single tasty drop escape her lips.
Tai’s large load soon ended, and he slumped against the bath’s edge, gasping for air. “Oh god…that was…incredible,” he said between breath. He felt Agu release his semi-soft member from her mouth. That however was short lived when he felt two soft yet firm orbs wrap around his member. “Ack!”
“Enjoying yourself Tai?” Agu said as only her head came out of the water. Beneath it, she was using her breasts to wrap around Tai’s cock to re-harden it. “We’re not done yet. We’re not done until you put that big meat stick inside me.”
“Uaagh!” Tai howled as Agu’s firm breasts wrapped and fondled his cock. It took very little time for his member to return to its full hardness.
“Ah, perfect.” Agu said as she looked at Tai’s ready cock. She moved away from it and rested herself against the other end of the bath. She rested her shoulders on the edge, and wiggled her nice plump butt before Tai. “Come on Tai, I’m waiting!” However, Agu did not see the glint in Tai’s eyes. Before she even realized it, Tai grabbed her butt, and plunged his rock-hard member deep inside her cunt. “AH!”
What Agu did not realize was when she got Tai to cum the first time in his new Digimon body, she released his Digimon instincts as well, at least when it came to mating.
“I’m going to fuck. You. Hard.” Tai said huskily to Agu’s ear. He clenched tightly onto waist, his cock still fully sheathed inside her. He pulled out until on the tip of his monster cock was inside before slamming himself over and over again inside her.
“Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah” Agu continuously moaned as Tai rammed himself inside her. She lacked the human hymen, so she felt nothing but intense pleasure as Tai’s cock struck her insides again and again. His hips slapped against her ass, splashing the water around them rapidly.
Tai’s member struck her insides with incredible force, sending ripples of pleasure through Agu’s systems with each strike. She could feel her womb being penetrated with each plunge, sending her mind to the edge of sanity. “Oh YES! Fuck me Tai! Fuck me!” She howled as Tai fucked her.
Tai was very much like Agu, lost in the incredible sense of pleasure that consumed him. Agu was incredibly type, probably something obvious since this was both their firsts. Tai knew he wanted his first time to be special, and he knew it couldn’t have been any more special than with his long-time partner. He intensified his plowing even more. He was sure she was about to cum.
“AH! Tai! I can’t hold back anymore Tai! I’m cumming!” Agu screamed lustfully as she reached her climax. Her fluids coated Tai’s member while her insides tightened around it.
“Fuck! Agu! I’m cumming!” Tai howled as he rammed himself as hard as he could into his partner before releasing his essence inside her. His load surged into her womb, overfilling with white hot spunk. Agu gaped as she felt Tai’s load flowed inside her. Her stomach bulged a bit from the tremendous quantity that flowed inside her.
After what felt like an eternity, Tai’s release came to an. He slumped on top of Agu, his now limp dick still fully sheathed inside her overstuffed pussy. As Tai slowly regained his breath, he looked down at his partner. She was looking back at him with a glazed yet happy smile. He smiled lovingly back before kissing her cheek. “I love you Agu,” he whispered softly.
“I love you too Tai,” Agu whispered back before she fell unconscious.
Once he regained some of his energy, Tai finished cleaning himself and Agumon, yet leaving her pussy still filled with his seed relatively alone. Once clean, he put on his pants and carried Agumon back to his room bridal style.
Lying on his bed waiting for him were an anthro Elecmon and Patamon, fully asleep. Tai smiled lovingly at the two and at Agumon. He carefully put her on the bed and positioned himself between the trio of Digi-girls. He wrapped all of them in the soft warm blankets, hugging the trio tightly.
As he was about to fall asleep, Tai couldn’t help but smile at the events of the day. They may not have started off good (he did die after all), but it all turned out for the better in the end. Now he had the strength to help his friends in ways never before. Not only that, he reaffirmed the relationships with his friends and sister, and made love with his first of possibly many partners.
Things may have taken a dark start, but things were looking bright.
Dadadadaaaaaa! Here it is!
You guys would not believe what I had to go through to finish this chapter. It took a seriously long damn time to finally come through with the lemon of this story. It’s always the same thing! I get a pretty good start, sometime nearly an entire chapter in one day, and then I get stuck for a long time on the lemons. Let me say that it is tough finding the right inspiration to continue these stories, but when I’m done, it’s all worth it.
So how many people were surprised by how badass Tai is? Don’t deny it. I have to say, at first I was planning to give all the characters their full evolution lines to mega, but I decided to hold back on that to create some interesting. This will allow for a lot of interesting situations involving the girls proving their love for Tai. But I won’t spoil it for you guys.
Next time – Light and Darkness
Training starts off and Tai’s determined to push his friends as far as they can go. However, things are cut short when an old enemy returns and the original way of defeating him is not the same. Tai must do something that no one thought possible. Will he and his friends stay together, or will their greatest nightmare scare them off?
