Two hours after the battle had ended; Tai and the heroines were still inside the prison as guards helped secure the place while robed priests examined the open seal to determine which of the Forsaken was now on the loose.
Rachel was by the entrance talking to the Atlantean general, who was missing one of his arms from the fight with the archons, while Yoshi, Miki, and Megumi were on another side of the platform using their communicators to let their superiors know what was going on, while Nene, Angie, and Mizuki were talking amongst themselves.
While all this was going on, Tai and the girls were circled around Sora, who was currently in a sitting position with her eyes closed, taking deep breaths, while Rika was behind her with her hands, glowing with golden energy, pressed against Sora’s back.
It had taken nearly an hour of healing Sora, with the fiery heroine going catatonic for a moment, before she finally regained her sanity as Rika continued to heal her from having the dark God inside of her and take control of her.
“So any side effects I should worry about?” Sora asked with a weary voice as she looked over her shoulder to Rika; knowing the girl would not lie to her.
Rika smiled as her hands stopped glowing and said in reply. “You might experience some night terrors, and whenever Zhaitan’s energy is around you will sense it, but he shouldn’t be able to possess you again.”
“The fact that he was even able to do that in the first place is scary enough.” Zoe started to say.
“It just goes to show how weak the barrier has gotten.” She then added, making Rika nod her head in agreement as she remained focused on healing Sora.
“If you need to talk, just let me know. Besides, you got a strong enough support group.” Rika then said as she finished healing Sora, to which Tai put his hand on Sora’ shoulder, causing her to look up and smile at her boyfriend and Kari, who was right next to him.
At that moment Nene, Angie, and Mizuki came over, with Nene looking at Sora before asking. “Are you alright, Firebird?”
Nodding her head as Tai and Rika helped her up, Sora said in reply. “I’ve been better.”
The Koto heroines nodded their heads before Angie looked at Rika and said. “There’s something I wanted to asked, especially after what Painz said before.”
Rika was wondering what Angie meant before her eyes, along with the rest of her team’s eyes, widened when they remembered that everyone else was present when she talked to Painz and he called her by her real name.
“It might be best if you forget that.” Rika suggested with a little aggression in her voice, hoping Angie would take the hint, which caused Angie to hold her hands up and say. “I know, I know, but before I do... could I get your autograph later? I’m a huge fan!”
At that Rika and the others just deadpanned before they heard Sora start to laugh hysterically, before everyone smiled and joined in, happy to have a break like that after the day they had.
After a bit, their laughter died down as Rachel and the STAR Corp members came to them, followed by one of the priests examining the seal, who looked at Rachel and informed her. “Princess, it appears that the Forsaken that escaped was Malarion.”
At this Rachel, Rika, Zoe, and Mizuki paled while the others were confused by what that meant, to which Rika sighed and told her allies. “If I remember correctly, he was the master mystic of mind magic?”
In reply the priest nodded, before saying. “Records show he was probably the most mentally unstable of the Forsaken, seeing every living thing as a puppet for him to play with. They also show that he would take control of entire cities of civilians and use them as cannon fodder and shields.”
Hearing that made everyone’s skin crawl, knowing they had a dangerous enemy with the power of mind control at his disposal.
Things had just gotten more complicated.
----In an undisclosed location----
In the underwater cave system that acted at the Deep Sea Tribe’s layer, Dargon sat on his throne as he looked at Malarion.
Dargon remembered him as a young man; his looks could attract a whole village full of women wanting to please him.
Now if he told anyone that, they would not believe him, for looking at Malarion now he was nearly the size of an orca whale, he had dark-purple skin and looked to be squid-like in origin and a pair of tentacles in place of his arms.
He had a red beak, half closed eyes with black sclera, yellow irises and wavy ‘hair’ made of eight tentacles, adding to the belief he was a squid of some sorts.
A pair of fins on the bottom of his body functioned as his legs, while his main body had six light-yellow spots on the front and back and a light-yellow stripe nearly wrapping around his body above the spots.
Malarion floated above the floor in the large chamber, spinning as he screamed. “Free! Free! Free! I’m finally free!”
Followed up by began laughing madly.
“So many minds out there, so many new toys to play with.” He cackled wickedly, while on the side of Dargon’s throne were Davis and Takato, who stood next to each other in their respective outfits as Painz and the Shadowlord, before Davis leaned over to Takato and said sarcastically. “So he’s both ugly and insane, oh joy.”
Takato nodded his head, secretly agreeing with his ally, before Malarion stopped spinning and looked at Davis with maddening rage, but not for the comment.
“Why can’t I see into your mind? The dark one I can understand but why can I see yours, Tell me!” Malarion said as he nearly got into Davis’ face, his tentacles ready to wrap around Davis and strangle him.
Knowing the creature referred to his natural immunity to mental powers, Davis was not intimidated as red electricity coursed through his arms and he said back. “Best back off before we have fried calamari for dinner tonight.”
Seeing his allies fight, Takato was about to try and break it up.
But before he could act and stop the two, everyone in the room heard a voice boom loudly. “ENOUGH.”
Malarion moved away from Davis startled as he and everyone else in the room looked at a large mirror that was on the side of the wall in the large room, which turned completely black as six red eyes appeared in it, the eyes of Zhaitan.
“PAINZ IS UNDER MY PROTECTION, MALARION, HE IS NOT TO BE HARMED,” Zhaitan said as his eyes gazed at the squid-like mystic, who actually showed fear and replied as he bowed. “Of course Great One I didn’t mean anything by it...”
“I WANT YOU TO FOCUS ON THE CITY OF ODAIBA, ESPECIALLY ON RENA’S PRIESTESS AND HER FRIENDS, DO NOT FAIL ME OR YOU WILL REGRET YOUR FREEDOM.” Zhaitan then said.
“As you wish, Great One.” Malarion said, before he began to glow in a purple light aura and disappeared.
“ALLOW YOUR ARMY TO RECOPERATE, DARGON, THEY WILL MOVE ON ATLANTIS AGAIN SOON ENOUGH.” Zhaitan then said.
“By your will, Master.” Dargon said loyally, before Zhaitan’s eyes disappeared and the mirror returned to normal.
With Zhaitan gone, Takato then turned to Davis and offered. “Since Odaiba won’t be safe until this is done, you and your cohorts are invited to stay at the Temple of Shadows until this is done, under my protection.”
Davis nodded his head; glad Ken was out of the city opening a branch of Ichijouji Corps in Koto, while solidifying a deal between their group and Dark Heart.
Davis then activated his communicator to V.E.E., which he saw as more than a machine, like another friend he could trust and told his AI. “V.E.E., tell Psychonis and Mesmera to pack up, we’re heading to the Temple of Shadows for a little while. Let Psychonis know she’ll be under the Shadowlord’s protection.”
“Affirmative, that should make her happy.” V.E.E. said in reply, ending his communications with Davis, before Takato opened a portal, which the two arch villains entered.
----A few days later----
Rika was relaxing on her couch, wearing nothing but a silk robe as she looked through the various books and ancient scrolls in order to learn what she could learn about Malarion, including his powers and weaknesses.
The team had been on edge since they got back from Atlantis; even though Sora was still recovering, she and Tai had already gotten into an argument with Kari about the one thing she had constantly argued with them about, telling Davis about their super hero lives and possibly, convincing him to join in with them.
While they all agreed that someone of Davis’ smarts and talents would help them greatly, even giving someone like Painz a run for their money, they all agreed it was for his protection and for the best that he didn’t know and would be allowed to do his own thing.
But with Painz’s threat to Davis still fresh in her mind, Kari pushed the issue further; afraid something would happen to the man she loved.
Coming back to the present, Rika sighed as she put the book in her hands down on her coffee table.
All the books and scrolls could tell her was what they needed to use the ancient ritual that was originally used to seal the Forsaken away to beat Malarion, but that knowledge had all but been lost, making Rika sigh again, wanting to get away from the stress and rest in her lover’s, Takato Matsuki’s, arms, but he was out of the city visiting what relatives he had left.
Rika laid back into her couch and closed her eyes, before they widened as she remembered there was a place she could find the answer.
But before she could do anything, she felt a dark presence coming from the beach, before her communicator began to keep and she answered it.
“Rika, there’s something going on at the beach, meet us there.” Rika heard Sora say, before she transformed into her Vixen outfit and headed towards the beach.
----Several minutes later----
Rika and her team met up and arrived at a beach, with Rachel, Nene, Angie, and Mizuki meeting them on the way, as they saw Yoshi, Miki, and Megumi waving to them from behind a cop car facing the beach.
As they got to them, Sora asked. “Were you guys all they sent?”
“No. They sent more but well...” Yoshi said, before she pointed over the car and at the beach, causing the girls to look before their eyes widen at the site.
They saw dozens of people, including PD members in standard uniforms and power armour, walking mindlessly in their direction, their eyes glazed over, a disturbing site.
But even more disturbing was the large squid-like creature floating over the water, cackling madly.
“That’s the thing that escaped from Atlantis?” Yolei asked in disgust.
“That thing is all levels of ugly!” Nene commented, which Sora nodded in agreement with and say. “We’re going to need some help with this. Let me contact Dragonheart and have him help out.”
“Yeah problem with that...”Miki started to say before everyone heard a loud roar, causing them to look up and saw Tai in his dragon form, however, instead of going to fight Malarion, he was flying from behind him, heading straight for them looking like he was about to attack.
“Oh no!” Sora, Kari, and the rest of their team cried out, seeing that their friend (girlfriend and brother to two of them) was under their enemy’s control, before they quickly moved away as Tai fired an energy blast from his mouth at the car, causing it to explode.
As the smoke cleared, the heroines on the ground soon found themselves surrounded by the mind controlled civilians, as they tried to avoid being grabbed by them, while trying to knock them out without hurting them.
Meanwhile, the airborne heroines were in their own troubles, doing their best to avoid both Tai’s attacks, as well as fire coming from the mind controlled cops, when all of a sudden, Sora let out a yelp of surprise as one of Tai’s clawed hands grabbed her, while the speed he was moving at caused the other flying heroines to get knocked off balance.
“Dragonheart, snap out of it, Tai!” Sora yelled, desperate to reach the man she loved, but Tai didn’t pay any attention as he headed down with Sora still in his hand, while back on the ground, Mimi had just captured a few civilians in her vines, using her knockout pollen to put them to sleep, before she heard a loud roar above her, causing her to look up just as Tai grabbed her with his other claw.
“Let me go!” Mimi yelled, trying to free her arms from Tai’s grip, but found he was too strong for her.
Things were bad for Kari, Rachel, Yoshi, Miki, and Megumi.
The five were being dragged by the mesmerized civilians closer to the beach, and stopped as Tai landed near them with Sora and Mimi still in his arms.
As the girls struggled to get free, a shadow seemed to cast over them as they looked up to see Malarion staring right at them.
“What lovely new puppets to play with.” He cackled as the yellow spots on his body began to glow brightly.
“Don’t look!” Rika yelled as she formed a golden barrier around her, knocking the enslaved civilians back, while Zoe, Yolei, Nene, Angie and Mizuki got into the barrier with her.
However, it was too late for Sora, Mimi, Kari, Rachel, Yoshi, Miki, and Megumi as they found they could not look away from Malarion’s lights, all their thoughts left their minds and their eyes glazed over as they fell under his mind control.
And with the girls now brainwashed, Malarion’s body stopped glowing as Tai and the other civilians let the girls go and they stood at attention, before they turned around and Sora began throwing fireballs at Rika’s barrier, along with the Star Corp members unleashing their firepower at it.
“Now what do we do?” Yolei questioned fearfully, just before their fear increased as they saw Tai’s dragon form about to attack them.
“We can’t fight them, we need to get out of here and think of a plan, hang on!” Rika said before the barrier glowed brightly, causing Malarion to shield his eyes for a sec, which soon faded, allowing him to look and see that the rest of the heroines were gone.
Angry, he looked at Tai and his other puppets.
“Find them!” He ordered.
This caused Tai to take to the air, while the cops and civilians began moving on foot, leaving Sora, Kari, Mimi, Rachel, Yoshi, Megumi, and Miki with their new Master.
“You won’t get away from me, little fox priestess, I will find you!” Malarion stated before he laughed madly.
----Deep inside the Temple of Shadows----
Within was a massive library, the repository of thousands of years of dark knowledge. At the centre of the library was a round, circular table where several figures were sitting.
Around the table, six of V.E.E.’s golden avatar V-Bots stood on guard, while Davis, still in his Painz attire, was using the control pad on his arm to see what was happening in Odaiba.
Sitting in a chair next to him with her feet on the table with her hands behind her head and a bored expression on her face was Davis’ older sister and the masked hypnotic villainess, Mesmera, better known as Jun Motomiya.
The former thief had once used her hypnotic powers for her own fun and games until Davis used one of his Spiderbots on her, taking control of her and making her his servant.
Since then much of her original personality had returned to her, but she remained loyal to her brother, who had implanted mental commands within Jun’s mind to make sure she would remain loyal and unable to disobey Davis.
Finally, across from them, the dark mystic Psychonis, also known as Jeri Katou, was humming happily to herself with a look on her face reminiscent of a child in a candy shop as she looked through various tomes and scrolls.
When she had left the Circle long ago, Jeri was unable to access this library and its knowledge.
Now with the protection of the Shadowlord, she had free reign to look through it.
“I’m bored.” Jun said as she let out a loud sigh.
“I’m sure things will get interesting in a minute.” Davis said in reply, causing both girls to look at him with a confused expression, before they heard heavy footsteps heading their way, followed by a female voice, which yelled. “Who said you could look through our Library?”
Davis rolled her eyes behind his mask as he and his accomplices turned to see the masked regent of the Circle, Lilith Blackheart, walking towards them.
Neither villain liked each other, with Davis viewing Lilith as an old crone, while Lilith viewed him as an ignorant child that understood nothing of true power.
“Let’s see, your boss and his boss.” Davis said with a smirk as he noticed Lilith’s hand tighten around her staff.
Lilith then looked at Jeri, her former acolyte, and questioned. “And you did not believe in our power or our mission, now do you see how wrong you were? How much power you could have had?”
Jeri just kept a neutral look on her face, before shrugging and saying, “At least I get to keep my skin.”
She then returned to looking at the book she had opened while suppressing a grin as she heard Lilith growl, having seen what the aged sorceress looked like under her mask and knew what she had given up for her power.
“Ah, that explains a lot.” Davis said with a smirk as Lilith looked back at him.
Still growling, Lilith reached into her robes with her free hand and pulled out a black orb the size of her hand and slammed it on the table in front of Davis.
“I was told to give this to you.” She told him, before she turned around and left, which caused Davis to look at Jun and Jeri and say. “Well that was...”
But before he could finish, Davis felt a pair of slender arms wrap around his shoulders from behind and felt a feminine body press against his back, while Jeri and Jun stared wide eyed at seeing the succubus queen, Alice, along with the V-Bots going on alert.
“My, my, I haven’t felt a male presence like yours in a long time, not since my dear Shadowlord.” Alice said close to Davis’ ear, before she said in a voice that would melt most men. “If you let me, I can show you real pleasure.”
Davis, however, was not most men, his will was greater, he gently removed Alice’s arms from him, turned to her and said. “Sorry, my dear, I’m already spoken for.”
Hearing that, Alice pouted as she folded her arms under her breasts.
“Just like him.” Alice pouted, before she looked over and Jun with a lustful smirk, causing Jun to blush and gulp as Alice ask. “Is she taken?”
“Nope, have fun with her.” Davis replied with a smirk as Alice walked over to Jun seductively, while Jun tried to say something to get her out of this, Alice suddenly wrapped her arms around Jun and the two disappeared in a cloud of dark smoke.
And with Jun and Alice gone, Jeri just gave Davis a look, who answered with a shrug, “At least she won’t be bored anymore.”
The two then heard a dark chuckle before they heard. “THAT WAS AMUSING.”
Davis looked down at the orb Lilith left to see the six eyes of Zhaitan looking back at him.
“Ah, so the dark God wants to talk I see.” Davis commented as he picked the orb up.
“INDEED, I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU EXPECT TO HAPPEN WHEN I AM FREED ONTO THIS WORLD?” Zhaitan asked.
“You seem overly confident that you will be freed.” Davis commented.
“MY VICTORY IN INEVIDABLE, A DAY, A YEAR, A MILLENNIUM IT MATTERS NOT, I HOLD THE PATIENCE OF STONE AND THE WILL OF STARS,” Zhaitan said, before continuing. “YOU, HOWEVER, SEEK YOUR WORLD ORDER A LITTLE BIT SOONER.”
“And you’ll help me with that?” Davis asked sceptically.
“INDEED, AND MY CHAMPION WILL NOW SHOW YOU A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION,” Zhaitan replied, before his eyes disappeared from the orb, just as Davis heard foot steps behind him, causing him to turn and see Takato walking towards him.
“Well then, shall we?” Takato asked, gesturing Davis to follow him, who did after ordering V.E.E. to keep an eye out on Jeri.
The two arch villains then walked down a hallway until they entered a large circular room with hundreds of glowing orbs inside.
And once the doors closed, Takato’s helmet melted into his armour, revealing his face, while Davis, understanding they were safe in the room, removed his mask and hood.
Takato then gestured around the room and said. “These are every mind currently under Malarion’s control. From here, we can shape any of the minds we want, and what we do will be permanent even if he loses control of them.”
Davis’ eyes widened at this before Takato took one orb and handed it to Davis and told him. “I think you’ll want to start with this one.”
Davis examined the orb as images passed through it, before his eyes widened and a smirk came across his face as he realized it was Kari’s.
As he formulated what to do with her, he walked over and looked through the orbs, before grabbing one, causing Takato to look at him questionably, to which Davis replied. “You’ll see soon enough.”
----Back on the beach----
Malarion chuckled madly as he watched his heroine slaves.
Sora and Mimi were embracing each other as they kissed each other passionately, moaning as their hands moved up and down each other’s bodies, groping their breasts and ass cheeks in the process.
Next to them were Kari and Yoshi who were in a similar position, moaning in each other’s mouths as their hands moved around each other.
Finally, Miki and Megumi were kissing Rachel, causing the Atlantean princess to moan as the two older girls pleasured her.
Malarion was going to have Miki and Megumi please each other, but he found out in their minds that they did that often enough.
Watching them a bit, Malarion started to think out loud. “Now it’s time for more fun. Should I have them strip naked and fuck each other? Or have them act like animals? Or...”
“I GAVE YOU A COMMAND MALARION, I EXPECT YOU TO FINISH IT BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY FUN.” Zhaitan’s voice rang through the deranged mystic’s mind, causing Malarion to panic slightly as he then said. “Yes, of course Great One.”
Malarion then had his puppets stop, causing the girls to stand mindlessly at attention before their Master, before they began to move out, leading their Master to where they believed their friends were hiding, as Malarion floated behind them.
----At a warehouse on the other side of town----
A flash of light appeared before Rika, Zoe, Yolei, Nene, Mizuki, and Angie appeared in the middle of the abandoned warehouse.
“Ok what do we do now?” Nene asked as she sat down on one of the boxes in the building.
“If I can figure out how he’s controlling the others, maybe I can make a device to interrupt his control and...” Yolei started to say, only to see Rika, Zoe, and Mizuki shake their heads, before Rika said in reply. “Sorry Shuriken, but this requires a magic approach to it.”
Yolei was about to argue with them, before Mizuki started to talk. “Everything I looked into said the only way to beat Malarion is to use the ritual that was used long ago to seal him away, but there is nowhere to find it!”
“Wrong.” Rika said, causing everyone to look at her as she told them. “There is one place it could be.”
Rika then held out her hand before a flash of light appeared and a golden key appeared in her hand, causing Zoe and Mizuki to look wide eyed while the others looked confused.
Rika then went to an old door to a storage closet before she closed it, placed the key into the key hole and turned it, opening the door again and causing the three non-magic users’ eyes to widen as they saw that now, instead of a storage closet, the door lead to a large decorated chamber, to which the group followed behind Rika.
After entering, Nene, Yolei and Angie jumped as the door closed on its own behind them before they continued to follow their friends to a large, U shaped table in the middle of the room.
Sitting around the table facing the girls were nine individuals, some dressed in robes, others looking like Buddhist monks.
Two wore pointed hats, resembling stereotypical wizards, while one had a staff with a sun on it and the other had a snowflake on top of his staff.
“Greetings Champions of Odaiba and Koto.” One of them said, before he looked at Yolei, who was about to say something and then told her. “To answer your question, Shuriken, we are the Arcane Council. We’re an ancient order founded after the fall of the old kingdom to help manage a peaceful cooperation between the various magic groups in the world as well as help find those to who have a connection to magic find their ways to those that can help them. Do not worry, this chamber is protected from those of dark magic, Malarion cannot find you here.”
Rika, Zoe, and Mizuki bowed towards the group, before Rika said. “Thank for seeing us honoured ones, I am sure you are aware of the situation.”
“Yes we are Vixen.” A female council member replied, before continuing. “And we have what you are looking for.”
A bright light suddenly appeared before the girls before an ancient scroll floated down towards Rika, who took it into her hands.
“Unfortunately the ritual requires a tremendous amount of magic. It will take you, Wind Angel, and Paladrina working together to make it work.” Another councillor told Rika.
This made the girls nervous, knowing their brainwashed friends would try and stop them.
“Is there any other way?” Rika asked.
“The only individual who could perform the ritual on their own is the High Priestess.” The councillor with the sun staff answered solemnly.
“The what?” Angie asked, confused.
“The High Priestess is the supreme defender against the dark arts, chosen by the old Gods to fight against Zhaitan and other dark forces, an avatar of their power in a sense. Sadly there has not been a High Mage in over seventy years, since the end of the second World War.” A councillor explained, causing Yolei to ask. “Why not?”
“We are not sure, but one among you has the power to ask,” another female councillor said as they all looked at Rika, causing the red haired heroine’s eyes to widen as the others looked at her.
“You have a stronger connection to Rena then any of your predecessors, Vixen. You must concentrate and you will be able to talk to her.” The councillor with the snowflake staff said.
Rika, Zoe, and Mizuki bowed, flowed by Yolei, Nene, and Angie, not wanting to look out of place again, as Rika said, “Thank you honoured ones, we will do our best.”
When the girls looked back up, they saw that they were back inside the warehouse alone, while Rika had the scroll in her hands.
Rika then handed the scroll to Mizuki, before saying. “Alert me if anything happens.” Mizuki and the other girls nodded their heads in reply, before Rika got down in a sitting position, closed her eyesand began to concentrate.
When she opened her eyes, Rika saw that she was in a field in a large mountainous area.
As she looked up she saw a vastness of space and other indications that she was not in the mortal realm, but in Rena’s domain as she looked around to see various ancient temples dedicated to the ancient Goddess.
As she stood up, Rika saw a large palace like temple and began to walk towards it.
Out of the corners of her eyes, Rika saw yellow foxes, standing on their back legs and walking like humans, wearing ancient armour, walking alongside her, keeping an eye on her, as well as slightly larger foxes, draped in ancient robes with mask like faces attending to the temples.
The spirits of the Fox Clan paid no mind to the stranger, and even seemed happy to see the one blessed by their Queen among them.
Eventually Rika entered the large temple, where, sitting on a bed like throne, was Rena, much clearer than when she had manifested around Rika and the Shadowlord, before the Goddess looked down at Rika with a smile.
“Welcome. I have waited a long time for you Rika.” She greeted.
“You were waiting for me?” Rika asked, perplexed, not sure how the ancient Goddess knew she was coming or why she wanted to talk to her.
“Indeed.” Rena said, before she continued. “Now I know you have a question for me, but there is another question for me that has been on your mind.”
She wasn’t wrong; Rika did have a question for her that had been bothering her for the past few days.
“Why did you ask the Shadowlord for forgiveness? I thought he and the priestess betrayed you.” Rika asked.
“No, they did not.” Rena replied, causing Rika’s eyes to widen in shock, since that was the story the mystics had been told for centuries.
“The laws that forbid the priestesses from falling in love were set by corrupted priests that abused their power and wanted to keep the priestesses only for themselves. I was happy for the union between my priestess and our champion, but we had our own law not to interfere with the mortal realm, to let it grow and change on its own. Despite how much I wanted to intervene, I was not able to stop my priestess’ death.” Rena said sorrowfully.
“And yet, despite what happened to her, and despite what her love has become, my priestess still loves him,” Rena continued, smirking inside as Rika’s eyes widened at that news.
“She’s alive?” Rika questioned.
“Reborn into this world, even though she doesn’t know it.” Rena said in reply, doing her best to not let Rika know who she really was. “She will seek him out, hoping to heal his heart and bring him back to the light, while he will try to bring her into the darkness with him.”
Rika felt bad for the two lost lovers and silently vowed that if she ever met the priestess she would help her in any way she could.
“As for your other question.” Rena said, bringing Rika out of her thoughts. “There has not been a High Priestess in so long because we have been waiting on an individual, and will not choice until they are ready. Trust in yourself and your friends and you will be able to stop Malarion.”
But before Rika could ask anything else, the world around her began to fade as her eyes opened and she was back in the warehouse, while Zoe and Mizuki were making the proper seals on the ground for the ritual and Yolei, Nene, and Angie were keeping watch.
Seeing Rika back with them, Zoe asked curiously. “Anything?”
“Not sure, but it looks like we’re on our own.” Rika sighed as she got up and walked to her place on the seal, while Zoe and Mizuki got into position, before Rika looked at the non-magic users and said. “He’ll know where we are once we start, please do what you can to hold him off, and don’t look at him!”
“We’ll do what we have to. Nene said with a smile as the three prepared to fight against the Forsaken mystic and his puppets.
About five minutes into the ritual, there was a loud rumbling before the entire roof of the warehouse was ripped off, revealing Malarion with Tai in his dragon form next to him, along with Sora and Rachel, before several large vines ripped the wall beneath them, revealing Mimi, Kari, Yoshi, Miki, and Megumi.
Malarion looked at the girls before he saw the mystics and recognized the seals before his eyes narrowed and said. “Oh no, I just got out, I am not going back!”
With that, Tai’s dragon form began to gather energy for an attack, only to be distracted when Nene fired an energy blast at him and she took flight, dodging fire blasts from Sora and blue energy blasts from Rachel.
On the ground, Yolei was dodging Kari, who leaped at her with her electric gloves, while also dodging and cutting Mimi’s vines.
Finally, Angie was running circles around the STAR Corp officers, who were firing at her.
Watching all this as well as seeing the seals on the ritual began to glow, Malarion was beginning to get pissed before his normal eyes began to glow red and he screamed. “Enough!”
A second later, a red aura appeared around Yolei, Nene, and Angie as their bodies froze.
“I can’t... I can’t move...!” Yolei tried to get out as the girls were levitated and brought closer to Malarion, while Mimi’s hands rose up and a pair of large vines shot out from the ground near her and headed straight for the mystics, wrapping around Zoe and Mizuki, causing them to loose concentration as they were lifted off the ground and the seals stopped glowing.
“No!” Rika yelled as she slammed her staff into the ground and a barrier appeared around her just as more vines went to grab her.
Struggling to move, Zoe and Mizuki were brought before Malarion, while Yolei, Nene, and Angie were brought close to him as the mystic chuckled and said, just as the yellow spots on him began to glow brightly. “You’re mine now!”
“No, don’t look!” Rika yelled, but it was too late, for the girls eyes glazed over and their faces became blank when they were then released from their bonds.
With Nene and Zoe under his control, both took to the air alongside Sora and Rachel as Tai landed and began to circle Rika, followed by the rest of the girls as they all got into fighting stances around Rika, while Malarion laughed wickedly.
----Inside the Temple of Shadows----
Davis, V.E.E., in one of his avatar bodies and Jeri entered a large room with what looked like a large pool of water in the centre, as images of the fight were projected through it.
As Davis looked around, he saw Jun staring longingly at Alice, who winked at the girl, before she looked down at the pool and Davis went and stood by Takato as they watched the fight.
“Well that was anti-climactic.” Davis commented.
“Indeed, once Vixen is under Malarion’s control, there won’t be anyone left to truly stand in our way.” Takato said, while secretly hoping to use this chance to bring the woman he loved to his side.
----Back at the warehouse----
As the enslaved heroines and hero circled their friend, Malarion began to chuckle madly.
“Nowhere to run, little fox priestess, Zhaitan’s going to be so pleased with me.”
As Rika held her barrier up, determined to fight to the bitter end, she heard Rena’s voice in her mind.
{We have decided.} She said.
At that, Rika felt a surge of energy before her body began to glow a bright platinum light, causing Malarion to shield his eyes as he screeched in pain.
----Back at the temple----
“Um...What’s happening?” Davis asked as he looked around, to which Jun and V.E.E. were just as confused as he was, while Hades and Lilith looked in shock.
Alice and Beelz, however, looked angry and even hissed at what was happening, causing Davis to look next to him as he saw Takato shake with rage as his red eyes glowed bright.
“Something that hasn’t happened in over seventy years, Painz.” Hades said, getting Davis’ attention and telling him. “It does not bold well for us, and even less for Malarion.”
----Back at the warehouse----
The light soon died, allowing Malarion to un-shield his eyes, before they widened at the sight in front of him.
Rika’s outfit had changed entirely.
Her armoured chest piece, gloves, and boots had changed from gold to platinum.
On her shoulders were platinum pads that looked like foxes heads with long white cloths coming out of their mouths with ancient golden writings on them.
Her staff had also changed, with the top now looking like a pair of foxes dancing around a blue orb.
A long white cape wrapped around her with a hood, while her face was covered by a full while fox mask that only revealed her eyes.
Tying the cloak about her neck was a golden circle with an arcane eye on it, the symbol of the High Priestess.
Seeing this enraged Malarion as he then screamed. “Kill her!”
Before the enslaved puppets could attack, however, Rika lifted and slammed her staff into the ground as the orb on top glowed brightly before a wave came out of it.
A second later all the enslaved heroines blinked their eyes as they returned to normal while Tai returned to his human form and asked, “How did I get here?”
As everyone looked around, Kari looked at Rika and asked surprised, “Vixen?!” causing everyone to look at their friend as Zoe’s, Mizuki’s, and Rachel’s eyes widened at seeing the symbol of the High Mage.
Everyone was brought out of their thoughts, however, when they heard a loud screech as Malarion gathered dark energy in his mouth before firing it at Rika, sending a shockwave that knocked everyone back.
When the smoke cleared, however, much to Malarion’s annoyance and everyone else’s delight, Rika stood unharmed as a platinum barrier surrounded her before she gathered energy in her hand and fired a blast at the Forsaken, which took the form of a fox’s head.
Malarion made a dark barrier to protect him but the blast shattered it as it collided with him, causing him to scream in pain before he enlarged his tentacle hands and swung them at Rika.
Seeing this, Rika grabbed her staff with both hands before it began to glow and change, turning into two katana blades that glowed blue with the foxes and orb on the end of each hilt.
Dodging the tentacles easily, Rika swung her blades, cutting the tentacles from Malarion’s body as he screamed in pain, before she landed and put the swords together as they glowed and reformed her staff.
She then moved her hands and her staff in the air as a circle made of energy appeared before her before a large blast shot out of it at Malarion, covering him in light as he screamed in pain.
When the smoked cleared, Malarion’s body was burned as he made a sound that was a mix between a pained groan and a chuckle as he then yelled madly, “I Cannot Die!!!”
“No, but you can be defeated,” Rika said before she placed her staff back on the ground as the seal on the ritual seals began to glow bright before pillars of light shot out into the air from them.
Seeing this, Malarion began to panic as he turned and tried to float away, before several tendrils of light shot out of the pillars and wrapped themselves around the Forsaken, dragging him to the columns as he screamed, “No, No, NO!!! I just got out! It’s not fair!!!!”
As soon as he was inside the pillar of light, his body began to disappear until there was only a dark shadow with glowing red eyes encased in the light, before the light shot up into the air; Malarion’s screaming heard as he disappeared with it.
----Prison of the Forsaken----
As the prison guards kept watch and stone masons worked to repair the damaged roof, there was a loud scream, causing the guards to go on alert, before a large pillar of light shot down at the opened seal before said seal slammed shut and the ancient writing on it began to glow brightly again.
----Temple of Shadows----
As almost everyone watching looked at the events in awe and wonderment, Davis looked at Takato before the armoured villain turned and walked out of the room without saying a word.
“Well, things just got even more interesting,” Davis said as he looked down at the pool.
----Several hours later----
Back inside the chamber of the Arcane Council, Rika stood in the center of the room, while around her, her teammates, Tai, the Koto Trio, Rachel, and the STAR Corp officers, along with mystics from around the world, stood happily at seeing their friend, along with others happy to see a new High Mage.
Instead of sitting in their seats, the council members stood in front of their table with smiles on their faces as one started to speak, “Malarion’s defeat has signaled a new age for all of us.”
“Though we have suffered through some dark times, with the Shadowlord’s return and the weakening of the barrier, the ascension of a new High Mage has brought hope to us all,” another member said.
“Let us look to the future and the defeat of…” the councilor with the sun staff started to say, until the chamber started to get dark, even though there was plenty of light.
As everyone looked around, trying to figure out what was going on, since no dark entity should be able to enter, until Rika’s eyes narrowed as she saw Sora’s eyes dilate as she began to hyperventilate while Tai grabbed her in concern.
“I’M CURIOUS; DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE ANYTHING HAS CHANGED TODAY? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’VE STOPPED?” Zhaitan said, his voice not coming from one person but was heard all around, like he was in the room with them, a dark sign that the barrier has weakened even further.
“You would stop at nothing to consume this world, I won’t allow that,” Rika said defiantly.
“I ALREADY HAVE THE POWER TO MOVE IN THIS WORLD, I HAVE OTHER PLANS NOW, AS YOU WILL SEE,” Zhaitan said, causing everyone to wonder what the dark deity meant.
“I HAVE DESCIDED, THAT LIFE IS MORE INTERESTING WITH YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS IN IT. IF YOU WISH TO KEEP RAILING AGAINST ME THEN SO BE IT YOUR INTERFERANCE CHANGES NOTHING. WHEN I AM FINISHED WITH THIS WORLD, WHEN THE LAST OF THE LIGHT IS EXSTINGUISHED, I WANT YOU TO BE ALIVE, TO KNOW THAT I SUCCEEDED, GOOD BYE.”
With that Zhaitan’s presence left the chamber, while Sora began to calm down, everyone knew the real fight was only beginning.
----Elsewhere----
Deep under the ocean, energy surged before a large rift to the Void opened in a dark trench, before legions of sea demons began to emerge through. Dargon and the Deep Sea Tribe awaited their new allies as a dark smile came across the ancient sea lord’s face.
In another part of the world, ancient volcanos began to erupt as creatures made of lava and fire began to emerge, before bowing before the Firelord, Takuya Kanbara.
And on isolated islands in the pacific, dark energy began to move through various rocks and minerals, before robotic collectors of Dark Heart began to harvest them.
----Temple of Shadows----
Davis walked into a large chamber, where Takato stood at the center, surrounded by the broken and dead bodies of his victims, before Davis said, “Got it all out of you?”
“I won’t be satisfied until that overgrown fur ball is dead!” Takato said before he sighed and added, “At least this wasn’t a total lost.”
“Indeed,” Davis said with a smirk, “I just say a word and my dear Katastrophe returns to me, the Princess will slowly loose herself until she seeks us out for power, and now we have a mole within the Odaiba PD.”
As soon as he said that his communicator beeped, causing Davis to activate the view screen on his arm pad before the image of Yoshi appeared on it.
“With Vixen’s advancement, the girls have thought it best to let me know who they are and will inform me of any developments my Lord,” Yoshi said with a sinister smirk.
“Good, keep my posted,” Davis said before deactivating his communicator and looking at Takato.
“HAVE PACITENCE MY CHAMPION,” Zhaitan’s voice was heard, “I WILL KEEP MY WORD. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR BELOVED AGAIN. THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.”
Kari was both anxious and nervous as she made her way down the hallway to Davis’ apartment, having not seen her maroon haired crush since before her team went to Atlantis.
It had been a few days since Malarion’s defeat, Rachel had returned to Atlantis to help her people rebuild, while the Koto trio returned to their home after they learned of possible Dark Heart activity.
Finally things had gone back to normal for their team, baring Rika’s new mystic status and her plans to soon travel the world to meet the various mystic groups around the world, as well as the girls formally introducing themselves to Yoshi in order to make their partnership with the STAR Corp officer better.
That all changed for Kari when Davis called earlier in the day and asked her to visit.
At first she was ecstatic to see her crush again, before memories of their fight in Atlantis, along with Painz’s veiled threat, returned to her mind.
‘Is he ok? Did Painz get to him? Does he just want to see me? Does he want to confess his undying love for me? Does he want to hold me and kiss me?’ Kari thought as her mind went back and forth between her excitement and her worry before she found herself standing outside of Davis’ apartment.
Clearing her head and gathering her nerves, Kari knocked on the door and smiled brightly as the door then opened, revealing Davis in his civilian clothing as he smiled back at her, before her eyes widened when Davis wrapped his arms around her in a hug.
“I’m so glad to see you Kari. With what happened in the city I was worried about you,” Davis said, though he had a smirk on his face, one that Kari couldn’t see.
Kari meanwhile had a dreamy look on her face as she felt herself melt into Davis’ embrace before she replied. “I was more worried about you.”
Davis then broke the hug but kept his hands on Kari’s shoulders as he stared into her eyes with a smile, to which kari looked back at him and could not help but smile at the man she loved.
She was determined now more than ever to tell him everything, regardless of what Tai and the others thought.
But before she could speak, however, Davis was the first to speak.
“I’m glad you’re ok, my Shadow in the Light.”
As soon as those words left his lips, Kari eyes glazed over, while her face became blank.
And a second later she blinked her eyes as they returned to normal, only a familiar darkness were in them and a wicked and flirtatious smile appeared on her face as she looked at Davis, before Kari wrapped her arms around his neck.
“It feels so good to be back.” Kari purred seductively, before she pulled Davis into a passionate and heated kiss.
Davis could not help but smirk victoriously into the kiss.
Whenever he would say that trigger phrase to Kari, she would revert to her Katastrophe persona she had acquired when she last served him.
This persona would remember everything Kari would remember, while Kari herself would not remember anything from when she was in this mindset, but would feel all the pleasure Katastrophe felt, thinking it was from a sex dream she had of Davis.
Closing the door behind him as he brought Kari into his apartment, their kiss never breaking, Davis brought Kari to his bedroom before they broke from the other’s lips and started into each other’s eyes lustfully.
“Let’s make this a night to remember.” Davis said.
“Every night is one to remember with you, my Master.” Kari replied lustfully, before she began to strip naked.
Seeing his sexy slave naked, Davis removed his outfit, smirking as he saw Kari look at him lustfully as she licked her lips, before he sat on the bed, to which Kari then walked up to Davis and pushed him back onto the bed, climbed on top of him and began to kiss his muscular chest, causing him to moan at her actions, which encouraged Kari to continue as she kissed down Davis’ body before she stopped when she reached his hardened member, licking her lips at the sight and the size of it.
And with no hesitation, Kari placed her mouth around it and began to lick and suck on it, causing Davis to groan in pleasure as Kari continued her blowjob, moving his hands so that they were behind her head as she moved up and down on his cock.
However, after an hour, Davis was unable to contain his pleasure as he let out a loud groan as he came, releasing his seed into Kari’s mouth, who greedily drank it all, before licking her Master’s cock clean, instantly addicted to the taste of Davis’ cum and his penis.
After catching his breath, Davis grabbed Kari by the waist and positioned her so she was on her back on the bed, with her legs hanging off of it, before he leaned down and began to suck on her right breasts, while massaging her left, causing Kari to moan loudly.
“So Good, Master... Oh, Master... Ah... don’t stop...!” Kari yelled out, loving the pleasure her Master was giving her.
After a bit Davis stopped before he spread Kari’s legs, revealing her wet pussy to him, while Kari looked with a begging look on her face, to which Davis, knowing Kari wanted him, then rammed his cock into her, causing Kari to moan and scream with pleasure as her Master continued to make love to her.
But after several hours, Davis lay on the bed, while Kari lay next to him, his arm wrapped around her body, before a wicked smirk appeared on his face as he thought about his plans for her and her team.
“Now my little pet, I have got plans for you.” He told her, making Kari smirk wickedly.
“I cannot wait, Master.” She replied, looking forward to whatever her Master had in store for her.
Whether it was plans to domination of Odaiba or dominating her in bed, Katastrophe was one very excited kitty.
