Serena hit her alarm clock several times before getting up frowning only to see the pink screen in front of her flashing an alarm with a chibi moon laying in bed then sitting up instantly. She turned it off frowning.
"Six o' clock?" she cried.
Training Program activated!
"I'm going to regret this." she muttered getting out of bed.
Homework.
Do your homework before school
The reward is worth it.
Serena doubted that but went to get a shower. She changed into a clean uniform and brushed then did her hair. She went downstairs to the kitchen table and sat on her pink pillow she didn't want to fall back asleep.
"oh, well, I triggered the training I'll stick to it."
With that she began her homework.
Luna jumped on to the table and sat down to watch Serena.
Serena was shocked when she got

She got skills for every class that seemed to make it a little easier for her to understand her homework.
Come time for her family to get up she was struggling with Math the last of her homework. Her family exchanged looks.
"You didn't finish your homework before sneaking out?" Kenji demanded.
Serena decided to lie.
"I finished all my homework last night before sneaking out." Serena stated. "All except Math."
Lying-1
"Is there a skill for everything?" Serena wondered in her head.
"I'm finishing that now but I'm terrible at Math."

Suddenly, it became a little easier. She worked through it and absently ate her breakfast. When she finished she was glad.
Run to school!
Dexterity (DEX) is always key for a Scout.
Serena yelled her thanks as she gathered everything up and ran for school.
"She's not even running late." Sammy pointed out.
Serena ran as fast as she could and sure enough her screen was telling her that she was getting DEX but also STR and VIT she knew those two meant Strength and Vitality and thanks to games she'd played she even knew what they did.
She sped passed the other girls as she ran for class. She quickly changed her shoes at her locker quickly then dashed off to her classroom with Amy, Lita and Mina following. She reached her seat and sat down with a sigh.
"What was that?" Lita asked. "We called your name."
"Training." Serena replied.
"Yes, we wanted to ask you about that." Amy said, "Us and Rei got invited to join the team then were told our power were restricted and we have Training Quests now."
"You'd better do them." Serena said, "I am. I've done two this morning. "
"You limited our powers." Mina snapped. "How are we supposed to fight now?"
"We learn." Serena replied. "That's what training is all about."
They got cut off by the bell. Amy and Lita quickly left for their classroom and Mina quickly took her seat.
Everyone was shocked when Serena handed in her homework for that morning class. Serena was shocked that she got exp for turning in her homework. That was worth it.
Serena brushed it off and tried to focus on all of her classes and actually learn something that day. By the end of school she was exhausted.
For paying attention in all your classes, +1 INT
Serena was happy with that. She beamed when she saw Amara standing by her car outside the school and ran to her shocking everyone who saw.
"A-Chan." Serena said, happily. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see if you got in trouble last night." Amara asked.
She ignored Darien who had come to pick Serena up as well as Amy, Lita and Mina, Ikuko, and Sammy who had also came to pick Serena up as part of her grounding.
"Yeah, I did." Serena sighed, "Daddy grounded me for a week for sneaking out and staying out so late not to mention meeting up with a boy."
"Ouch, sorry." Amara said, flinching. "So I guess you can't come to the Crown?"
"Nope." Serena said, shaking her head. "Sorry, I have to study for my math test at the end of the week anyway. I really need to catch up if I want to move up the Algebra this year. I'm way behind the rest of the class. I have to take Math with my brother Sammy's class. "
"Yeah and it's annoying." Sammy said, walking up. "You're not supposed to be talking to boys, Serena."
"Oh, come on, Sammy." Serena sighed, "A-Chan is just a friend."
Amara smiled amused by the exchange.
"Come on, Serena." Ikuko said, looking at her cell phone. "We'll stop by the bookstore to pick you up a workbook on the way home."
"Yes, mama." Serena said, blushing, "Bye, A-Chan."
Amara waved after them with a smile then frowned at the other scouts and glared at Darien before getting in her car and driving off.
"That boy, " Ikuko started as they walked.
Serena blinked at her.
"Tenou A." Serena supplied. "He's a famous race car driver. He's 16 years old." She provided.
"That's Tenou-sama?!" Sammy cried. "You're friends with Tenou-Sama?! Oh my god! I'm like his biggest fan! Do you think you can get tickets to the race in two weeks? I've tried everything!"
Serena rolled her eyes.
"I'm not using my friendship like that." She scolded.
"Tenou-san, "Ikuko broke back in. "Is he your boyfriend?"
"No, mama." Serena said, well aware that the Inner Scouts, minus Rei, and Darien were following them. "I told you last night Darien was my boyfriend but I broke up with him."
Darien felt anger shoot through him at the easy way she said that.
"Why did you not think you could trust your own mother with the fact that you had a boyfriend." Ikuko asked, and it was clear she was hurt. "That's what I'm here for."
"Darien is older than me." Serena sighed, "He's 19."
Ikuko and Sammy both looked shocked.
"Your father will not like that." Ikuko said, softly. "Sweetie......"
Serena was suddenly crying again she couldn't help it. Darien allowed himself a smug smirk.
"You didn't just break up last night did you?" Sammy asked, in concern. "How long has it been?"
"Not long enough." A sharp voice said, shocking all of them.
"Trista." Serena sniffled rubbing her eyes. "Mama, Sammy this is my friend Meioh Trista she's a Physics Student at K.O. University" Trista pulled Serena to lean into her as she softly cried. "Trista, this is my mother Tsukino Ikuko and my brother Tsukino Sammy."
"Nice to meet you." Trista said, respectfully. "Darien and Serena broke up about a month ago it was not a healthy relationship. It's okay, Serena." She looked around. "Where is Tenou he said he was picking you up."
"I'm grounded for sneaking out last night." Serena said, softly as she calmed down.
Serena had no idea how it happened but Trista ended up going home with them and tutoring her in math and just about every other subject she was learning. Serena found her to be a better teacher than Amy ever was. When Trista explained things and she didn't get it the first time she wouldn't get annoyed with her like Amy did. Serena seemed to learn a little better at least in her mind. Trista left right before dinner politely refusing to stay.
Serena finished up her homework after dinner and made a retreat to her room because she knew her mom was talking to her dad about what she had found out today. Maybe she should have told her family about Darien maybe they would have been able to help her through what had happened. She shook her head not wanting to remember.
"Serena?"
Serena had just finished changing and smiled sadly at Luna she went to her bed and petted the cat. Luna was so obsessed with finding the Moon Princess that she was hardly around these days so this was rare.
"I'm glad to see you started the training program but I fear most of the Scouts will not heed your advice and do the training."
In the hall Ikuko and Kenji were shocked to hear their cat talk. Serena hadn't shut the door all the way so they could see the two of them.
"Probably not." Serena sighed, "But it'll be on them if they don't. I'm doing my best to improve. I even spent hours on my homework. Trista explained things a lot better than Amy and doesn't get upset when I don't learn fast enough. I like that."
"Perhaps you should ask her to tutor you." Luna suggested.
"I couldn't ask her to do that, Luna she has enough on her plate with her own training, and school work." Serena said, "I can do it, Luna but you know I sure am tired."
Luna chuckled.
Serena woke with a start and grabbed her communicator. She opened it to see Mars.
"Hurry to the park!'
Serena sighed and went out her window with Luna on her shoulder. She tried her transform command but it didn't work.
Moon Power
"MOON POWER!"
Serena was shocked to see her uniform had changed to a pink version.
"What's this?" she asked as they ran along.
"It's the Mini outfit." Luna informed when they arrived. "You aren't going to like your attack it's unreliable."
Mercury screamed and dodged.
Moon jumped out of the way and opened her inventory sure enough there was a pink stick she pulled it out.
"It's the Pink Moon Stick. Your Attack is Pink Sugar Heart Attack." Luna informed.
"Venus, your attack is Venus Kiss!" Artemis yelled, "Mercury, Mercury Bubble Blow, Jupiter Shock, Mars Fire Flicker!"
"Uranus Air Blades, Neptune Geyser, Saturn Ribbon Wrap, Pluto Scream!" Luna yelled to the Outers who'd arrived.
"YAY!" Venus cheered. "Attacks!"
"Sorry." Moon cried. "Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"
The Moon Stick fizzled and Moon jumped away dodging. Uranus released her air blades to cover her retreat.
"I told you it's faulty!" Luna cried.
Mercury found out her power was now an attack. Moon kept jumping around and attacking with kicks when she could until she could get the stick to work. She suddenly had an idea.
"HEY!" she yelled, "I've got an idea! On me!"
The outers came instantly the Inners finally followed. Moon laid out her plan.
"and what will you be doing?" Mars demanded.
"I've got this don't worry." Moon said, "Just trust me."
They broke and Saturn quickly wraped their enemy in her ribbon, Naptune used Geyser to blast it into the air throwing it off balance while the others rained down attacks. Moon sprinted to get into the moonlight within range.
"Pink Sugar Heart Attack!'
Sure enough this time her attack worked and blasted the enemy it wasn't very strong but it finished off the monster.
Moon Power-1
The higher the level the longer you'll stay transformed.
Pink Sugar Heart Attack- 2
Boosted exp for knowing that your power is boosted in moonlight.
For coming up with a battle plan, +1 WIS
For knowing your strength, +1 INT
Moon's broach flashed and she quickly sprinted behind a tree and transformed back. The others quickly joined her.
"Our attacks are so weak." Rei said, doubled over and breathing hard.
"My attack just stuns it." Mina frowned.
"Stunning is good." Serena said, holding her Moon Stick. "It's going to be a blessing while we're weak like this."
"How'd you know how to get that stick to work?" Hotaru wondered.
"Well, at first I didn't." Serena confessed. "But, then it hit me. Luna says it's faulty but it's night and I'm the Sailor Scout of the Moon so what if I stand in the moonlight and use the attack? It sounded good in my head and I couldn't find any flaws with my logic. I just needed you guys to cover me while I got a spot in moonlight within range of the monster."
"That's ........" Amy said, blinking stupidly. "Very smart."
"Good job, Serena." Trista praised.
"I think it was the INT boost I got from studying with you." Serena beamed. "Or maybe it was the WIS I got from doing all that math."
Luna chuckled jumping on her shoulder.
"Amara, you'd better get Serena home." Michelle said, looking up at the sky.
"Crap, you're right." Amara said, checking her watch. "Her dad is going to kill me this time for sure."
"Hey, Serena." Lita called, as Serena and Amara ran off. They turned back. "Thank you for working hard today."
Serena smiled and bowed to them.
"Yes, thank you for working hard, everyone." she repeated.
Amara smiled as she and Serena ran towards Serena's house.
"How'd you get out?" Amara asked as they reached her block.
"I climbed out my window. I need to get back in the same way." Serena sighed. She looked around as they reached her yard. She quickly climbed up the tree and noted that Amara was following. She made it out on to the branch next to her window and got in the window. She moved out of the way as Amara came into her room behind her. The light in her room came on. "Sammy......."
Sammy cocked his eyebrow. He grabbed the latest Shonen Jump off Serena's desk and turned his back on them.
"I didn't see anything." He replied and turned light off leaving the room.
Serena sighed in relief and sat with her back to the window. Amara sat close to her the same way. Neither talked
