Chapter 2: The Power Gem.
Note: Huh, it seems a lot of you are liking this story then I originally thought so I hope you'll keep enjoying this story then!
However, here's something I need to say, this ISN'T a villain Deku story because he grew to hate all might nor will Izuku attempt to attack or kill the top hero.
That isn't how the story is going to be, because Izuku will use all might as motivation to prove him wrong, that the greenette CAN be a hero while wielding the infinity gems.
Now then, someone else commented about not wanting Izuku's personality to get OOC and unfortunately I cannot comply because I've already written the rough draft for Izuku to get slowly vulgar and somewhat dark, not dark enough to be classified as an Anti Hero, but enough where Izuku would be similar to Thanos.

"Izuku! You should've told me that the orb contained this...this gem! You could've gotten seriously hurt!" A pleasantly plump green haired woman exclaimed while she overlooked the extent of her son's injuries including the now melted on infinity glove that the greenette son had taken to calling it.
The glove itself had melted onto Izuku's skin and attempts to remove it were proven far more difficult because that included removing the skin itself and Inko Midoriya refused to peel her son's skin just to remove the golden armored glove.
On the topic of the glove, Inko was fairly knowledgeable on architecture especially since she worked in some construction during her High School years and she knows the red gem was permanently fused to the index slot via melting and not even a flat head screwdriver could get it out.
The green woman was also considering taking her only child to the hospital because just out of the fingerless sleeves of the glove, she could see some of the skin turned red almost like the kid had just burned his hand and given there's six slots, the minor telekinetic woman was deeply worried.
"Sorry Ma, I was trying to see if I could harness the limitless energy the gem has so I could utilize it to be a hero but I wasn't expecting the gem to melt the glove on my hand or fully embed itself in the slot." Izuku muttered as he wasn't capable of comprehending how the gem simply slips from his finger while defying gravity to embed itself into the glove.
Inko simply sighed while pulling away from the younger greenettes hand who retracts it to stare at the gem once more "Izuku, I'm always going to support your dream of being a hero but you shouldn't mutilate your hand just to get the opportunity" She was indeed worried because her child would do anything to get the opportunity to be the hero he desires a lot.
Izuku soon stopped listening until his eyes started to grow lightly as he felt something from the gem, the power it's generating is so much that the greenette can't help but to think he could use that energy externally "Sorry mom! I need to do something" Izuku said, suddenly getting up from the couch, causing the green mother to flinch at the sudden action.
"O-ok hun, just...come back home before it gets too dark sweetie" Inko said as she was worried even more but a lot less since her child seemed more...confident? something like that especially since the younger greenette no longer seemed to stutter like crazy.
Izuku swiftly runs out of the room far faster than the boy was initially capable of along with jumping over the railing to land with equal ease, the gloved boy stopped after he landed along with the ground underneath then looked up towards the fifth floor of the apartment complex 'Ok, I couldn't do that before nor why anyone could without some sort of quirk that eliminated fall damage unless they could power through the obvious pain...This gem...I'm going to call it The Power Gem because it's essentially a limitless generator of contained energy and I have a feeling I'm drawing this energy to form a pseudo superhuman physique'
It was indeed a curious time for the technical quirkless boy as he demonstrated somewhat controlled superhuman speed and enough superhuman strength and durability to withstand the damage of falling from a five story building but what else can it do?
The gloved boy started running away from the complex and was heading towards the very place he had found the Uru Orb.
Takoba Municipal.
It took an equivalent 20 minutes to run straight towards the beach of takoba to which the greenette calms down to a slow walk as he made contact with the sandy beach, 20 minutes for a 4 mile run and the boy wasn't exhausted at all which he began to learn that the gem was also empowering him with energy to not only enhanced speed, strength and durability but possibly limitless stamina.
'This is crazy, is this what the Power Gem is capable of? Maybe I could even match all might, hah, that ain't going to be possible...the guy punched a slime match onto the walls and caused a localized storm with his 'Texas Smash' super move so even if the power gem is feeding its power through my body to make me akin to a pseudo-superhuman even if All Might is in a weakened state' The greenette thinks to himself as he didn't really like placing himself on the same football field as the top hero of the world.
Now then, the gloved man looks around the junkyard like he was looking for something then looks at a familiar crater where he found the Uru Orb and Izuku smiled at the fond memory because if he hadn't found this orb then his life and future would've been drastically different, possibly went for a Batman approach to smite the top hypocrite.
'Ok, I need to test the power I have now, I've already confirmed that I have possibly limitless stamina and durability from my way here so do I have super strength' Izuku thinks to himself as he walked over to a somewhat decent fridge that didn't look like it belonged at the supposed junkyard so the supposed lean boy opened the door and looked annoyed as the inside looked what the quirkless boy could only describe as the storage room for a low grade butcher's shop.
So Izu closed the door and chose this fridge for his super strength test so grabbing both sides then picked it up lifting the large appliance off the ground with ease along with no muscular strain "Oh...oh holy crap! I have super strength" Izuku exclaimed as a big grin started to stretch his mouth and threw the fridge into the ocean with equal ease.
Izuku watched as the white tinted appliance landed into the gentle sea with a good splash then started throwing more and more appliances into the gentle sea which is to continue his physical strength "T-This is amazing! All of the energy internalized enhances my physical form to superhuman levels! Though speed ain't that much but I'm fast enough as it is. I wonder if I can externalize this energy" The superhuman green said to himself as he looked around trying to find a perfect target for his next test.
Now seeing an old stove at the middle section of the beach, around 15 meters away so the greenette looked at the stone then raised his single slotted glove towards it trying to mentally pull out the energy from the gem, half expecting it would fail but it didn't.
Red energy starts pulsating and cover the glove which exudes enough to look like the greenette covered his hand in malleable red energy then shot towards the stone, which it hits and caused it to explode like a missile, the greenette stared at the destroyed appliance then his gaze slowly moved to the golden glove as the residue of the red energy dissipated.
'Strength, Speed, Durability, Energy Manipulation Properties. God damn I am stacked! I'm like Superman from DC Comics!' Izuku thinks to himself as he shot out several more bolts of red energy piercing and damaging the other appliances to continue utilizing and familiarizing the energy manipulation and was finally happy this gem gave him quirk like powers.
The gloved boy smiled genuinely for the first time in years that he finally gained a power that made him on par with his quirk peers, though he was settled on owning up to his quirkless disability and if anyone asked, he gained a magical artifact.
Izuku quickly turned around with the red gem glowing slightly as he felt a presence behind him only to see a brown haired woman whose hair was incredibly fluffy and big that mostly covered her eyes though the greenette though it looked mysteriously like a mushroom for whatever reason.
Her outfit consisted of a flowy dress blouse that is checked and has some red sneakers, and to complete this outfit, he has a large burlap sack on her shoulder.
She was shivering slightly indicating a rather shy and non conflict nature "Hey" The greenette greeted the girl as he was lowering his gloved hand while the red energy dissipated entirely.
"H-hey, I...I was watching you for a few minutes now...you got a strong quirk" the mysterious mushroom-like woman complimented the boy's supposed quirk, Izuku was obviously curious and thought he was looking at a reflection of himself, being incredibly shy and rather passive.
He hated looking at himself and believed he was due for a change in personality and image.
"It's not my quirk, a quirk is defined as a power genetically formed from the human body. The power I expressed is enhanced by the gem in my Infinity Glove" Izuku informed her of the truth of his power which he slightly raised so the woman's hidden eyes could see the beautiful red gem in the glove.
Her bangs parted slightly to which the green gloved boy could see the pure shock from her weirdly dilated eyes "Y-your quirkless?.." her tone was obviously worried especially since everyone knows just how bad quirkless discrimination, she however flinched at the deep glare the gloved male sent her "S-Sorry, I...I didn't know.." she said as she slowly backed away from the boy because she was worried he would yell at her.
The green haired boy simply sighed as he couldn't be angry at her especially since she was so much like him "It's fine, I'm over it really and besides, i've lived long enough to not let my disability be a hindrance" Izuku said which he could see her eyes returning underneath her brown hair and replaced with a nervous frown was a cheerful smile.
"Y-yeah, you shouldn't let your.. flaws get you down. What's y-your name? I'm K-Kinoko Komori" The mushroom looking girl introduced herself.
Izuku would smile slightly at her greeting and decided to return the gesture "Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you Komori. Though I'm curious why you would come here of all places" the greenette introduced himself and asked her because Takoba was one place a lot of people tend to avoid like a plague even when it was once a tourist spot.
Kinoko looked really sad if her smile having dropped fast was any indication so something terrible must've happened to her "I-I...I was..going on a..date with my b-boyfriend but h-he dumped me when he wanted t-to go...further but I wasn't c-comfortable going that far yet..."
...Oh.
"Oh.."
The greenette looked completely surprised at this as Kinoko was incredibly beautiful to him so whoever wanted to go to sexual gratification on a shy girl who wasn't comfortable to go that far must've been really impatient and probably didn't love her that much if he wasn't willing to wait "Well whoever he is, he is an impatient prick, if you were with me then I'd let you set your pace and follow you until you were ready" The greenette said though blushing slightly at his words.
Kinoko blushed heavily at his words and looked down slightly with a smile slowly growing on her face though with Izuku thinking he must've offended her and raised his hands in an attempt to apologize to her because despite Izuku working on himself and a new image, he still didn't want to be seen as a jerk in any form however before he could apologize.
The mushroom girl spoke up "T-thank you...I r-really appreciate it Midoriya...m-may I call you Izuku?..." she asked because despite being really shy, she felt really close to the greenette even if they've only known each other for less than an hour then some of her girl friends at school.
The greenette blushed deeper at this as he hasn't been friends with girls during his school life and the only woman that the gloved boy was associated with was his mother Inko and his Aunt Mitsuki "Y-Yeah, go ahead I d-don't mind..." fucking stutter, Izuku thought he had enough control to not do that anymore.
The brown haired girl seemed to smile even more "T-thank you, would y-you like something t-to eat? I planned a pi-picnic but you already kn-know what happened and I w-would hate to waste food" She stuttered through yet managed to get her point across to the empowered man.
Izuku raised an eyebrow at her curiously wondering why she would offer food to him, which again, they haven't known each other long but she's offering her own food to him though having realized it now, the greenette was hungrier then he would've expected so the offer was deeply appreciated "Sure thing, I didn't realize how hungry I was" Izuku said he pocketed his right hand while he and his new friend went over to the stone brick stairs to sit.
Having sat down giving the greenette some more time to think about his newly acquired power while the brown haired girl was digging through her back 'Ok, let's start thinking, The Power Gem is an extraterrestrial artifact that can produce limitless energy and when placed inside a catalyst, the energy produced is flooded into the body where they can assume a superhuman physique and energy manipulation properties. Should I expect that this gem also exists in plenty on whatever planet it came from? Or is it one of a kind? But that also begs the question...why did I in my sleep daze state put six slots on my Infinity Glove instead of one? Hmmmm'
Izuku kept on thinking on this and seemed to not hear the voice until what looked like a cap of a portable thermos was in front of his eyes which held a brown liquid with chunk like pieces, it smelled heavenly "What's this?" Izuku asked as he gingerly grabbed the soup in a cup and it felt hot like it was fresh out of the pot.
Kinoko blushed as she also held another cup similar to the one he's holding "I-it's my mom's mushroom r-recipe, s-she taught it to me sometime ago a-and I didn't want her to feel bad because no one could eat it..."
The gloved greenette held onto the soup cup with his ungloved hand but he knew why she did what she did especially since the greenette only knew his mother growing up and would do anything for her "We all do things to bring pride to our mothers, I know how you feel, truly I do and I would do anything I can to make my mom happy though luckily 'I am here' "Izuku quoted his least favorite hero and while he doesn't like All Might as he did as a kid, he was still a damn good hero.
Just a lying hypocrite is all.
The greenette slurped down the mushroom soup though with a little caution primarily because Izuku doesn't have a particular taste for mushrooms in general-...
The gloved boy stopped slurping for a minute to fully comprehend the taste and it was delicious with Umami being a clear word in the greenette's head, it was thick and savory but also delicious with the mushroom pieces that tasted somehow like beef yet it was mushroom and it was delicious!
The green haired boy quickly gulped down the rest of the mushroom soup with vigor then put it down showcasing an enlightened face with star blinking in Midoriya's eyes and a bit of saliva dripping down on his chin.
It was the face of a man who just had his first Michelin Star Meal.
Kinoko would finish her cup and look over, nearly laughing at seeing a new friend who looked like they orgasmed in their pants "L-like it Izuku?" She said obviously curious, giggled abit with his reaching his cup over with a animalistic grunt, the mushroom girl grabs the cup and quickly refilled it with the soup and handed it back which he quickly grabs and shoved down his gullet like if he didn't, the soup would disappear.
Kinoko's smile grew more as her ex-boyfriend didn't like mushrooms all that much which was the reason why she made her mothers famous mushroom stew so he could love it like she does but now her new friend shares the same love given how quickly he's drinking the stuff.
A few minutes passed between the two and the greenette was lying on the sand obviously satisfied.
"Never liked mushrooms, but now this gave me a whole new perspective," Izuku said to the sky to which the girl who was resting also on the sand right beside him responded back.
"Thank you! Mom would be pleased that someone else liked her recipe!" Kinoko exclaimed happily.
"Konomi-" Izuku began to say but the aforementioned girl interrupted him before he could ask his question.
"Kinoko"
"What?" Izuku said as he moved his head upwards so Kinoko's overgrown hair was in view.
"Call me Kinoko, we already shared a meal together so it would be silly to call each other's last name now" Kinoko insisted on her first name being spoken.
The greenette blushed lightly though nodding as that was a reasonable request "R-right, Kinoko, w-would you like my number? I hope we can still h-hang out" Izuku said as he really wanted to keep the mushroom girl around especially since she was his first friend that was also a girl and the greenette never had female friends at Aldera because 'being associated with him decreases their popularity and hotter guys wouldn't want to catch his quirklessness'
Dumb bimbos, they were more focused on looks and guys, they never seemed to realize that being quirkless is a disability only known at a very young age and you can't get quirklessness when you have a quirk, dumb bitches.
Izuku felt his intelligence drop just thinking about that cancerous conversation from a couple years back.
"O-of course! I w-would like a friend! Let me just get my phone" Kinoko said and got up into a seated position to start digging into her purse for her phone while Izuku pulled out his from his pants pocket to look at his own number "Ok! Ready"

"344-535-6999" Izuku gave her his number then he heard numerous digital buttons being pressed.
"Ok! Got it, thanks Izuku, do you want to hang out tomorrow?" Kinoko asked as she turned her head towards the greenette who looked at her from his position on the sandy beach "Of course, we can meet back here after school" The greenette responds with a happy tone.
The brown haired girl gave a bright smile that looks like it can light up a whole building at once "Yeah, that can work! See you tomorrow Izu!" Kinoko said as she got up from her spot and quickly left the beach while giving one final wave to Izuku who lazily waved back from his spot.
"What a woman...Damn, gotta keep her away from Kacchan or he's just simply going to take her away because a quirkless bastard like me shouldn't be breeding...fuck..." Izuku said to himself as he looked serious about Kinoko for a moment. 'Touch her Katsuki then you'll be the first person to be tested against my Power Gem...'

Well then my friends! Here is another chapter for you and Izuku has finally begun to tap into his energy prowess of the Power Gem, it's only a matter of time till Izuku discovers the gems true potential in combat.
I know when I first published the chapter, I had Touru as Izukus romance but I decided this would be more wholesome and fun plus it would give me a reason to send him to 1-B because to many fanfics are about 1-A.
