Authors note: Uwaaah! This is becoming ever more convoluted! Twisty turney! Lol! Hehe, so, this chapter's filled with tension! Yummy! And I think Tohma's losing it completely! Poor thing, I am a massive fan of Tohma, he's AWESOME! Also, I really LOVE Ryu-chan! But hey, who doesn't? So, although Tohma's looking like the bad guy in this tale, please forgive him, he's just...a bit screwed up. He's not bad man, he just makes mistakes!
Chapter 20: Kisu (Kiss)
"Ryu-chan? Look at yourself...really look at that body of yours! It's divine...Like your voice, it haunts me..."
"S-Sensei...Please..."
"Heh, you want to cum?"
"Nnng...y-yes...p-please..."
Ryuichi slowly opened his eyes, he blinked a few times and yawned. He rolled over and looked over at his alarm clock before sighing. He had slept in, he would be late for Tohma and his photo shoot. Rather than rushing to get ready he lay still, the blankets twisted around his body and his hand in his hair. He had been dreaming about the past, dreaming about him. He remembered it all too clearly, like a veil had been lifted from his eyes, his Sensei, the man who had taught him everything he knew, the man who had demanded the use of Ryuichi's body in exchange for knowledge...He licked his lips and chuckled bitterly to himself. He was being ridiculous, the man was dead. Slowly he sat up and untangled himself from his sheets, he yawned and went into the bathroom to wash.
As he stepped into the hot shower he turned as he caught his reflection in the mirror on the wall. He remembered being forced into the bathroom, held down against the sink and his hair held in a firm grip as his Sensei had fucked him. He remembered his own expressions. A chill ran across his skin and he shook his head before entering the shower and allowing the heat to soothe him.
"You're beautiful, Ryu-chan..."
He pressed his forehead against the cold tiles and sighed. He knew how his looks affected people, of course he did, it was all part of his image. His fans would go insane if he so much as winked at them. He smiled as he remembered Shuichi's reaction when they had first met, his eyes opened and he began humming lightly as he washed his hair.
"Sakuma-san!"
Ryuichi turned as he reached the doors of NG, he felt a smile on his face as he saw Shuichi running up to his side. "Shuichi! Good Morning!" he said happily.
"Good morning!" Shuichi replied, he was wearing a hat and sunglasses as a disguise and he was smiling.
"You working today?" Ryuichi asked as he made to push the doors open.
"Ah, I've got a new single to..."
"Is that Shindou Shuichi of Bad Luck? Who's that with him?"
"Oh My God! It's Sakuma Ryuichi!"
"Kyaaaaaaaaaaa! Where?"
"Seems our disguises were useless, Shu-chan!" Ryuichi laughed as he grabbed Shuichi and pulled him into the building. The fans followed, trampling over the front desk and security guards. Ryuichi laughed as he pulled Shuichi behind him, suddenly he dived around a corner and shoved open a door. Shuichi allowed himself to be pulled down some stairs and into an area he had never been before; Nittle Grasper's personal studio. The place was huge, a large, roomy recording booth with top of the range equipment and even a sofa bed for overnight sessions. The room was decorated with dark wood and soothing colours, Ryuichi slammed the door shut and locked it. He turned and grinned. "Ah! Looks like we'll have to let them clear the mess up before we go back or Tohma will kill us!" He threw himself onto the sofa with a sigh. "It's fun being chased!"
"If you say so, Sakuma-san..." Shuichi replied with a shake of his head. "How did they recognise us?"
"Dunno..." Ryuichi was staring up at the ceiling. "Ne, Shuichi?"
"Hm?"
"You've never been down here before, have you?"
"No...Is this...your personal studio?" Shuichi's eyes devoured the sight hungrily, art decorated the walls, some was by very renowned artists and were probably originals and others were obviously silly drawings done by Ryuichi as they included bright pink rabbits and demented things that may have been people. As well as art, there were album covers, photographs and even posters.
"Ah, I missed this place when I was in America!" Ryuichi said happily. "I don't get my own studio there! This place has some good memories..."
Shuichi sat down beside the older singer. "What was it like in America?" He asked suddenly.
Ryuichi paused thoughtfully. "Lonely." He said softly. "I mean, it had its moments...It took a long time to really sell myself and I never had the kind of intense fame I have here, but eventually I managed it. It takes a lot of work to climb to the top in a foreign country, K worked me like a horse." He grinned. "Plus I had a lot of other work to do for Tohma. Even with K by my side...I still felt alone. It's such a massive country, you feel so tiny when you get there. It's a bit scary at first, but when you get used to it it gets easier. I think, what I hated about it was being away from him for so long...three years is too long to be away from someone you love."
"It'd be cool to be that well known..." Shuichi mused softly.
"Hm? Sounds like you'd be interested in taking Bad Luck to the States, huh?"
"Maybe...at some point. I don't think we're quite ready just yet."
"When you are, let K know! He can set you up!" Ryuichi ruffled Shuichi's hair and smiled. Shuichi giggled and gently tried to push him away. "So, It sounds like everything's gone quiet up stairs...shall we go..." Ryuichi paused as the sound of a key in the lock reached their ears, he had his arm around Shuichi and blinked as the door opened.
"Well, I want whoever is responsible for allowing those fans in to report to my office...Yes, of course I'm angry, Sakano-san! They trashed the building! I want repairs done in the lobby as soon as possible, oh and could you please try and phone Ryuichi again? He's gone missing...yes, very good Sakano-san. I'll..." Tohma's eyes widened as he spotted the two singers looking cosy on the sofa. "Sakano-san? I've found Ryuichi." He hung up and shoved his phone in his pocket as he stepped into the room. "So, this is where you've been hiding? You missed your photo shoot."
"Sorry Tohma!" Ryuichi said with wide eyes. "But we were chased! Those fans are crazy!"
Tohma nodded. "Fine..." His eyes slid to Shuichi who went red and looked away. "Shindou-san...may I ask what you're doing here?"
"I-uh...I'm sorry..." Shuichi muttered as he looked at his feet.
"I brought him here." Ryuichi replied. "I thought it was the safest place as hardly anyone knows about it."
Tohma's eyes narrowed. "You two...have been in here alone..." He said slowly.
Ryuichi slid his arm from around Shuichi and sighed. "It's not what you think, we were just talking."
"Talking? Is that what you call it? Look at yourselves!"
Ryuichi looked down at his clothes, they were crumpled and Shuichi's hair was messy from where he had ruffled it earlier. Suddenly he laughed. "We look messy! That's what happens when you've got crazy fan girls chasing you through buildings!"
"Hm..." Tohma's eyes narrowed as he watched the pair. "Very well, Shindou-san, your band mates are waiting." He stepped aside and Shuichi stood.
"Ne, Shuichi! Meet me out back at five, we'll start those lessons!" Ryuichi smiled as the younger singer nodded and moved out the door.
"Lessons? What is this?"
"Nothing, he just wanted to learn some stuff. I don't see any harm in it, I mean, I owe him since he is my Kohai!"
"I...suppose so." Tohma replied slowly. He moved and sat down beside his band mate as his eyes roved around the room, nothing looked out of place. He sighed heavily and leaned forward. "I could use a drink..." He muttered as he rested his head in one hand.
"Tohma should relax or stress will make him sick." Ryuichi said as he slipped behind his friend and began rubbing his shoulders.
"Mmm...So good..." Tohma whispered, he tipped his head back against Ryuichi's chest and sighed heavily again. "We have problems." He said seriously. Ryuichi said nothing as he kneaded the tense muscles beneath the silk shirt. "Satou Kazuya has been nosing around...his reporters have infiltrated NG, he needs...to be brought down." Tohma groaned softly in disappointment as Ryuichi stopped his ministrations.
"Satou...Satou..." Ryuichi muttered. "You mean the guy who runs the Yomiuri?"
"Yes...unfortunately I cannot have him just disappear...he's far too high profile. I must find his weaknesses. Everyone has some deep dark secret they want to keep from the public; all I need is information..." He turned his head and looked Ryuichi in the eyes; his hand captured his face and held him still while the president pressed his lips to the singers. "Find them." He whispered against his lips.
"As you wish." Ryuichi muttered in reply, his breath brushing Tohma's mouth. He smiled slowly, a small, sexy smile and Tohma couldn't hold back any longer. His fingers pushed their way into Ryuichi's hair and he kissed him deeply, revelling in the sudden heat of the singer's mouth and his clever tongue. Ryuichi moaned heavily into Tohma's mouth as he was pushed back into the sofa, his own hands rested on the back of Tohma's neck and he was disappointed when the president pulled away.
"Go." He whispered breathlessly.
Ryuichi smiled and slipped free of the embrace, he was gone before Tohma had even moved.
Shuichi stepped into the studio to find himself face to face with a furious Fujisaki. He stepped back slightly with wide eyes. "What the hell are you thinking?" The enraged keyboardist shouted. "Do you know how long we've been waiting? This is inexcusable! Even for you...it's too much!"
"Fujisaki, calm down." Hiro murmured from his corner. He looked up and grinned lopsidedly at Shuichi. "Hey, what kept you? When I woke up, you were gone already."
"Oh, I originally wanted to get here early..." Shuichi moved past Suguru and sat down on a chair. "But, I met Sakuma-san outside the building and we chatted for a minute before we were spotted by fans...We ran for it and hid from them in Grasper's personal Studio."
"Wow, sounds exciting."
"Not as exciting as this!" The loud, accented voice of K made them all jump as he strode into the studio, he slammed a piece of paper down onto the table. Shuichi leaned over and read the sheet, he looked up with an eyebrow raised.
"What is it?" He asked.
"This is Bad Luck's chance to get into the big leagues!" K said with relish. "It was sent to me today! They're looking for bands like you to play at a festival!"
"But...I've never heard of this festival before..." Shuichi muttered dubiously.
"Neither have I." Hiro agreed.
"Same." Suguru sat down and put his head in his palm. "We can't trust some random piece of paper you got through the post, K-san."
"But it's all official! I checked..." K looked slightly disappointed at the lack of reaction.
Shuichi sighed heavily. "Even if we did do it...I...Doubt I'd be able to sing..." he muttered softly. He had been struggling badly since his break up with Yuki, he had been restricted to photo shoots and interviews to avoid having to sing live. He broke every time he tried, his voice refusing to come out. His eyes darkened as he stared off into space. Suddenly a hand made him jump slightly and look up, he saw Hiro smiling down at him.
"I believe in you, Leader." He said softly. "I'll follow, whatever you decide."
The singer managed a weak smile. "Thanks...it means a lot coming from you."
At five o'clock Ryuichi waited at the back entrance to the studio's. He had spent most of the day digging around to find any dirt he could on the Editor, Satou. So far the man was clean, but he had managed to find a potential lead, a child that may or may not be his illegitimate son by a woman who was not his wife. Suddenly the doors opened and he spotted Shuichi, the boy looked up and smiled nervously. "Shall we go?" Ryuichi asked and the pink haired boy nodded. "Come on...I wanna get the train!" Ryuichi said happily.
"Uh...Is that really such a good idea? I mean...You're Sakuma Ryuichi!"
"And you're Shindou Shuichi." Ryuichi replied with a big smile. He laughed and grabbed his hand. "Let's be naughty!"
So, they reached the station in one piece having managed to disguise themselves with hats and sunglasses. Ryuichi was staring at the ticket machines, rocking back and forth on the soles of his feet. "I...forgot." he muttered.
"You forgot what?"
"I don't know how to work this!" He laughed and rubbed the hair on the back of his head. "I haven't got the train for years!"
"Right..." Shuichi got their tickets and they waited for the train, Ryuichi sat on a bench while scuffing the soles of his trainers against the floor. He was watching people intently, his blue eyes following the ones he found interesting until they disappeared out of sight. Shuichi felt strange being alone with the singer, it was as if they were actual friends, rather than just work colleagues. He realised Ryuichi was staring intently at a man with a suitcase. "Sakuma-san?" He asked.
"That man..." Ryuichi muttered. "He's got loads of money in there." He nodded towards the suitcase.
"How...?"
"I can see a corner of a note sticking out the side." Ryuichi replied with a shrug. "Also, look at his hands...can you see the tip of his right middle finger?"
"Uh...yeah...what about it?"
"Ink." Ryuichi muttered. "He's been forging notes."
"Wow! You're really good at spotting things!"
Ryuichi laughed. "Tohma's better, trust me. He can read people like books, never try and hide anything from him...he'd be able to tell almost straight away. He can also talk you into giving something away, he talks you in a circle until you end up exposing all your secrets."
"You guys know how to do some weird things." Shuichi said, his voice tinged with awe.
"Well, it's all about manipulation. It's an art." He shrugged and leaned back against the wall, he stretched and knocked his glasses off. "Oh...shit!" He dived for them, but the sudden squeal told them it was too late. "Time for lesson one, Shuichi..." Ryuichi muttered as he stood. "Evasion!" He laughed as he grabbed Shuichi's hand and they ran for it.
As they ran Shuichi felt his heart beating a mile a minute, the crowds of screaming fan girls and boys was more reminiscent of a stampede. He felt a small smile tug at his lips and it wasn't long before he was laughing along with Ryuichi, suddenly he was pulled roughly down a side alley. He felt himself pressed against the older singer, who had his hand over Shuichi's mouth. He could feel Ryuichi's heart beating rapidly against his own, the feeling of those fingers on his lips made heat rush to his cheeks. Ryuichi seemed totally distracted by the passing crowds of screaming fans, they rushed past in a wave before slowly petering out. Finally the older singer looked down into Shuichi's eyes and he realised he still had his hand over his mouth. He withdrew it quickly with a small smile. "I think they're gone now..."
Shuichi stared up at him, his face still flushed but not from exertion. His heart tripled its speed and he swallowed as he saw an odd look enter Ryuichi's eyes. "Saku..."
"Sh." Ryuichi suddenly leaned down, a slightly dazed expression on his face his took Shuichi's face in his hand and lifted his lips to his own. He trapped Shuichi against the wall with his own body, one hand planted firmly on the wall at Shuichi's back. He ran his tongue over Shuichi's bottom lip, asking for entrance which was granted. "Shuichi..." Ryuichi sighed with his eyes closed and his lips brushing Shuichi's. The pink haired singer shivered, hearing his name whispered like was like a rocket going off in his body, he resisted the urge to press against the warmth of Ryuichi's body and his hands clenched into fists as Ryuichi claimed his lips once again. "Shit..." He muttered as he drew away again. He looked deep into Shuichi's eyes. "He'll kill me..." he appeared to be talking to himself, and yet he had that amazing smouldering hunger in his eyes that made Shuichi's heat filled body ache. "This is..." He kissed Shuichi again, much more forcefully this time, his hands sliding down from his face to his waist as he dragged his hips closer. "...So wrong..." He swallowed and a pained look entered his face. Suddenly he lowered his head and rested it on Shuichi's shoulder. "I'm sorry."
"H-huh?" Shuichi muttered weakly as he dragged himself out of the strange daze. It was as if he'd been hypnotised.
"I-I'm so sorry...I shouldn't have done that!" Ryuichi pulled himself away and leaned heavily against the opposite wall. "I...couldn't help myself. Please, forgive me."
"Sakuma-san...I...There's no need to apologise." Shuichi replied with difficulty, he straightened himself out and looked away from those entrancing eyes, now filled with regret and a deep sadness.
"You'll never be mine." That voice made Shuichi look back up, he was shocked into speechlessness when he saw Ryuichi's eyes filling with pain and a single tear slid down his face. He wiped it away quickly and took a deep breath. "I apologise, Shuichi...I'm out of order. I-If you've changed your mind about the deal...I'll understand." His tone was suddenly flat and cold, as if he was discussing something to do with business.
"Uh...No. No, I want to learn, Sakuma-san. Please, if you're willing to teach me!"
Ryuichi managed a smile. He lifted his hand. "Come on then." He said and Shuichi returned the smile.
Tohma got to his office early the next day, he was greeted by Sakano-san and he sat down at the desk. He looked down and saw an unmarkled brown envelope sitting on his desk, he frowned down at it and picked it up. "Sakano-san?"
"Yes, Shacho?"
"Where did this come from?" Tohma held the envelope up and Sakano stared at it.
"Sir, I thought you put it there?"
"No...No I didn't." Tohma muttered and he lifted a letter opener up from off his desk and quickly slit the edge of the envelope open. He looked inside and his frown deepened. With a sharp flick of his wrist the contents slid onto his desk top. He found himself staring down at a series of very clear photographs. Slowly his eyes widened. "Sakano...contact all the papers, if anyone has these...confiscate them! I don't care how you do it...just get it done."
"Yes, sir." Sakano left.
Tohma fell into his seat and began slowly flicking through the pictures. The first one was of Shuichi and Ryuichi sitting at the train station and talking, nothing wrong with that. The next was of them fleeing from rabid fans, again, little wrong with that. It was the last few pictures that made ice slip into his stomach. It was the image of Ryuichi pressing his body close to Shuichi's and kissing him fervently. Tohma suddenly lowered his head, his hat hiding his eyes in shadow, his lips tightened into a line and he clenched his hand into a fist as he crushed the image in one fist. "Shindou." He hissed through his teeth, hatred oozing through every syllable.
