CHAPTER TWENTYTHREE: HIS ACTION HER PAIN
Ciel was woken up by Amanda once more but there was no food or anything to drink this time. He knew that something was up when Amanda didn’t bring anything with her like she always done. She got him dress and started putting on his socks and shoes. Ciel was getting upset on how slow she is getting him dress and putting on his shoes. He wasn’t really mad at the maid but he couldn’t control his anger like he normally would had but Sebastian was pissing him off to a point where Amanda being slow made him snap hard on Amanda.
Amanda was about to put of the second show until Ciel scream at her telling her that she is slow and useless and that he wants Sebastian not some wanna be demon maid to attend to him. Just like that he kicks Amanda hard across her face and she hit the wall pretty hard too. Ciel didn’t realize that she had put on knee high converse on him and it had many straps and buckles on it when he kick her until he saw her face and neck. Ciel heart sank down he had never laid a finger on a servant before until now and he did a lot of damage too. Minutes of just staring down at the maid on the floor who was still holding her face and crying out. He suddenly got up and tried to say that he was sorry but it was too late.
Amanda kept hearing her young master saying that he was truly sorry but she couldn’t quit crying. Suddenly two men bust threw the door and saw a hole in the wall where Amanda was crying and holding her face and Ciel on his knees trying to calm down her down. Ciel look over his shoulders and went completely white as a ghost. Of all people to smell the blood first was no other then Sebastian and his father Victor. Sebastian was full of rage seeing what he saw was Amanda covered in blood. Sebastian ran over to her and pushes Ciel far from them and picks up Amanda bridal style to leave the room. Right before he left the room Sebastian told Ciel that once Amanda was all bandage up that he will show him the basics of the demon ways and not to leave the room until he said so.
Ciel never got the chance to talk or even to explain what had happen just a few minutes ago. For the first time Victor saw his son acting like a parent but he also thought better late than never. The room that Sebastian and Ciel had shared since living in the cottage was now the room Amanda was recovering in. Victor had pulled Sebastian aside right after he laid her down on the huge bed to tell his son something. Victor said that Grell and Elizabeth had went into her room and stole something from her and they fought in the halls right before Ciel got out of his class and headed towards your class. Elizabeth had this in her hands so I thought you should give it back to her since you ask her to become a maid even though her kind doesn’t do stuff like this, Victor said to Sebastian.
Victor had pulled out a beautiful blue beaded head piece and handed it over to his son. Sebastian didn’t say a thing on what his father just had given him instead he just walk over to Amanda side and started to clean her up. It took over an hour to gently clean Amanda face and neck when Rose came in to switch out the water with fresh water. Rose felt so bad for Sebastian because she knew how he felt about Amanda the moment he brought her here as a maid.
She will live as long you keep wet towels on her wounds and to rewet them every so offend and it may not even scar, Rose said. Just like that Sebastian dip the small towels into the clean water and lightly place the wet towels on her body. She never seen him like this before and her heart was breaking for him and started to cry until Sebastian ask Rose if she would watch after her until he gets back.
