Kitara curls up into a ball as Ithal and Raijuro kneel at her side. The younger of the two brothers glares at his sister's body, covered in a suspicious fluid with a strange scent. Raijuro on the other hand, begins glowing with a bright light. As the light fades, a taller, more mature Raijuro stands before his siblings, now looking about 18 years old. What confuses Kitara, however, is the malicious gleam in her brother's eyes, and his suddenly fearsome appearance. Where her brother looked completely human before, only his long red and black hair and tail making him seem otherwise, now his face is a cross between human and Zoroark features, and his body is coated with a light fur, appearing to the untrained eye as human body hair.
"I'll kill the bastard who did this to you, Kitara. You have my word." Raijuro whispers, his voice a raspy growl as he drops to all fours and takes off through the shattered window to hunt down the crazed legendary dog.
"This is bad, Kitara. This is really bad." Ithal whispers after a few minutes, his eyes wide with fear. Kitara nods, before the scent of Storm's seed enters her nose and sends her into a curled up ball of shame. Ithal lifts his sister in his arms, careful not to touch her wounded tail, and carries her gently towards the bathroom they share. Kitara wraps her arms around her brother's neck and sobs into his shoulder, the younger male kit growling internally at the thought of anybody harming his sister. As Ithal gently places Kitara on the edge of the sunken tub, he is thankful for once that their bath is so large. He turns the taps, the sweet scent of warm water filling his nose as he grabs two towels from the closet. It never crosses his mind that his sister may not want another male in the bath with her, especially her brother, the one she wanted to be her first.
Ithal looks warmly at his sister, his eyes meeting hers in a gaze of brotherly love and complete trust as he gently lifts her into the water. Wordlessly he takes a soft cloth from the basket on the edge of the tub and pours a generous amount of lavender soap onto it. At Kitara's fearful gaze, Ithal merely smiles back at her.
"Kitara, don't worry. I won't hurt you, I just want to help you clean up. It's the least I can do for not protecting you. Once we're done here, I'll even help you bandage your tail." Ithal explains, earning a soft sigh from his sister, not seeing the hint of disappointment in her eyes. Trying to avoid staring at his sister's exposed flesh, yet painfully aware of the strong scent of her heat, amplified by the warmth of the bath, Ithal begins trying to clean all traces of Storm's actions from Kitara's body. As Ithal scrubs his sister's body, he's vaguely aware of a humming noise filling the air. After a few minutes of trying to place the tune, he finally realizes that Kitara is singing.
"And If I bleed, I'll bleed, knowing you don't care, and if I sleep just to dream of you, and wake without you there, isn't something missing, isn't something. Even though I'm the sacrifice you won't try for me not now, though I'd die to know you love me, I'm all alone, isn't someone missing me…" Kitara's voice fills the bathroom, echoing off the walls as the words of her song fill Ithal's ears. Suddenly her brother, her protector realizes she's crying again. Holding her close and trying to wipe the tears from her face, Ithal looks into Kitara's tear filled gaze.
"I'm so sorry, Kit. I should have been there to protect you. I should have done something. I'm sorry." Ithal whispers before finishing up cleaning her. As he helps Kitara out of the tub, he takes out the first aid kit and gently bandages her tail, spraying one of the expensive Full Restore potions onto the wound before expertly wrapping it with bandage tape and gauze. Kitara thanks him before he leads her back to his own room, now empty of their newly evolved brother. As Ithal tucks Kitara into his bed, he growls at the thought of the monster who hurt her. Turning to leave, Ithal stops suddenly as he becomes aware of a hand gripping his wrist. Looking into Kitara's eyes, he sees her fear and sits down beside her on the bed.
"Please don't leave me. I'm too scared." Kitara pleads, her voice weak and broken from hours of crying. Ithal sighs and smiles back at her, promising not to leave her side. True to form, Ithal doesn't leave his sister's side all night, but he also doesn't sleep. He's awake as she drifts off into a fitful, nightmare riddled sleep. He's awake when she flies awake screaming, terrified that Storm is standing over her, this time trying to kill her. Ithal is also awake when Raijuro returns.
"Damn him." Ithal hisses as the eldest of the triplets breaks through the door, sending Kitara into a shrieking fit. Raijuro roars as he begins destroying furniture, stopping only when he sees Kitara whimpering, curled up next to Ithal.
"Shit. I'm so sorry, Kitara. I chased him to the edge of the island, but he got away. Evidently the legends about Suicune being able to travel on water are true; the legends of Zoroark not being able to swim well, are also true." Raijuro growls, his eyes a deep red. Ithal glares at his older brother, his own eyes seeming to glow with molten rage as he quickly looks back to his sister.
"Raijuro, stay with Kitara. I'm going to see if I can track this legendary dog. First, I need to talk to mom." Ithal hisses, his voice almost icy with rage as he rises from the bed and walks out the door.
"Mother! I need to speak to you!" Ithal snarls as he charges into his parents' bedroom, causing Alex and Arkanon to look at the Zorua kit, their eyes filling with tears as they see how enraged he is.
"Ithal, please son, you must calm down." Arkanon tries to soothe, only earning a furious glare from Ithal as the Zorua kit punches a hole in the wall. Alex whimpers fearfully at the change in her kit's demeanor, but understands why.
"Mom, I need to go after this creep. You saw what he did to Kitara, he cannot be allowed to continue breathing for that. I won't make it to shore, so I'm going to ask Aunt Saki to borrow Jade. Don't bother trying to stop me, I'm not gonna rest until this bastard pays for what he did to my sister." Ithal seethes, his eyes glowing with rage as his body is covered in shadows. Alex rises from the bed and walks to her son, embracing him, despite the fear flowing through her.
"Please, Ithal, I know you feel you have to do this, but be careful. You're going up against a legendary Pokémon that's stronger than you are. I have faith in you, my son." Alex whispers before releasing Ithal from her embrace. With a nod to both of his parents, Ithal turns and walks towards Saki's room.
"Ithal, please don't do this." Saki whispers as she notices the Zorua hybrid, his eyes cold and dark with hatred. Saki can feel her hair blowing in the breeze generated by the shadowy rage pouring from Ithal's form, but she doesn't fear him. As she walks towards him, Saki can feel her body being clawed by invisible energy, but she merely embraces her nephew, her mate, and gently kisses his forehead.
"I'm sorry, Aunt Saki, but I have to do this. I need you to lend me Jade. She can help me track the Suicune that hurt Kitara, and help me get across the water. He cannot be allowed to get away with hurting my sister." Ithal hisses, his fangs bared in anger as his mate gently strokes his hair. Saki sighs heavily, her mind weighed down.
"Return to me, Ithal. You need to return to me alive. You're going to be a father, so don't die on me alright? Our babies need to meet their daddy." Saki murmurs into her nephew's ear before handing him the Pokéball containing her beloved Jade. Ithal gasps as Saki's words sink in, and with a smile he turns and walks from the room, eager to hunt down the Legendary Dog that raped Kitara.
A/N: So Ithal's going to be a Dad, Raijuro evolved, and Kitara's a bit of a mess.
