Having arrived at Yamamoto's hospital room earlier, Tsuna and Gokudera had been disappointed to find the tallest male fast asleep in his bed, showing no sign of waking up soon; it was unusual, considering he was always up at the crack of dawn, but they could understand; these past few weeks had been hard on everyone.
Now, having come back at lunch, the man was awake, lying still on the mattress as he looked up at the roof. A slight smile crossed his face as he realised he had visitors, glad to have the monotony broken for even a little while.
"Hey, Yamamoto..." Tsuna sat down on the chair next to the bed, reaching out to grasp his friend's hand in his. "Gokudera - are you moving your toes?"
"Hmm?" Yamamoto frowned at this question, wishing he could turn his head and look at his friend. "What do you mean?"
Pointing to the ever-so-slight shift beneath the bottom of the blanket, Tsuna looked back at the injured male. "The blanket is moving."
"Is it?" Yamamoto honestly had no idea how to reply to these words; he had been undergoing physical therapy for the past few days, but his therapist had said there was no improvement and the man just wasn't moving at all - could it be that they were wrong? "I can't... feel anything anymore, Tsuna... My body is numb... I wouldn't have any idea if I was moving or not."
Lifting the blankets up from the end of the bed, Tsuna swore he could almost start crying as he noticed his friend's toes wriggling slowly. Turning to look at Gokudera, he offered a smile, hoping the silver-haired male would be as happy as he was - but with the new turn of events, who knew what Gokudera was feeling right now?
"Your toes are moving, Yamamoto." Clapping the psychologist on the shoulder, Tsuna let a single tear drip down his cheek, hoping that it meant things could only be improving for the gentle male. "You're moving! Can you move anything else? Try and twitch your leg."
Yamamoto tried his hardest to get his body to cooperate with his wishes, but whether or not he had done as asked, he had no idea. "Did it work?"
Shaking his head, Tsuna uttered a soft, "No..."
"What about my fingers, Tsuna? Are they moving?"
Lifting his gaze, Tsuna nodded, smiling once again as he noticed the slight twitching of the calloused digits. "Yeah, they're moving, too!"
"The nurse said my spinal injury was incomplete..." Sighing, Yamamoto closed his eyes. "I probably would have been paralysed for life had it been complete..."
"Hey, Gokudera-kun's starting to get better, too." Brushing dark strands of hair out of Yamamoto's eyes, Tsuna smiled brighter. "He's in physical therapy, too, and they think he might regain most control of his body in a few months."
"That's great." Yamamoto was truly happy to hear this, just glad that his lover was going to be okay; he loved the smaller male more than anything, and if he might never be able to move properly again, it would be okay as long as Gokudera was okay. "Is he here? I haven't heard him."
"Yeah, he's here." Pulling the wheelchair closer to the bed, Tsuna put his hand on the psychiatrist's, trying to coax him into asking what he had come here for. "He has... some questions for you, though."
"Questions? Ask me anything, Gokudera."
"..." Chewing at his lip, green eyes stared down at the motionless body on the bed, just not knowing where to begin; should he get right to the bottom of things and ask why he had been cheated on? Or should he start from the beginning?
"Gokudera? Are you okay?" Yamamoto's concerned voice made the smaller male want to curl up and cry, still finding it hard to believe the man could have done what he had; this was Yamamoto they were talking about!
"...Fran said some things in front of me..." Closing his eyes so that he didn't have to look at the now-frightened expression on the other's face, Gokudera continued on, not in the mood to rant and scream; he was tired, and they had all been through enough as it was. "I just...Why?"
"Gokudera..." Remembering back to what had happened that night, Yamamoto could only hope the smaller male would understand; he had only wanted to help his patient, and nothing more. "...Fran had been drugged... You know that..."
"So what, he came onto you or something?" The green-eyed male couldn't keep the bitterness out of his voice as he asked this. "I don't believe that for a second; that little shit doesn't have a sex drive - he's too traumatised to even think about it. You can't tell me -"
"- I only wanted to help him..." Feeling tears well up in his eyes, Yamamoto wished he had the strength to wipe them away, but he was powerless to do anything but lie here, relying on others to keep him alive. "...I couldn't stand seeing him like that, Gokudera-kun... He was so scared... He was terrified of me, expecting me to do the very same thing to him that's caused him to wind up as my patient... And yet, someone had had the nerve to drug him with stimulants, to use his body in a way he doesn't want anyone to... I just wanted to make him feel better... To take away those effects... He didn't understand what was wrong with his body, and he just wanted it to be over..."
Tsuna sat by the hospital bed in silence, his head ducked; he knew this wasn't his fight, and it was between the other two - he had no right to involve himself in something that could potentially end their relationship.
"...Why didn't you tell me this yourself...?" A broken whisper was all that left Gokudera's lips as tears slipped down his cheeks. "It's not like you cheated on me for the sake of cheating, so... I could have handled it, Yamamoto... I could have handled it... But to have found out like this... It really hurts..."
"You would have been angry..." Dropping his eyelids halfway, Yamamoto wanted to sleep, to forget all about this - to pretend that the world wasn't going to shit. "I wanted to wait... to make sure you'd find out at a time you'd understand..."
"Damn straight I would have been angry!" Gokudera shook his head, his green orbs wild with emotion. "Fuck, I'm angry now! But... I just... can't find it in me to scream at you like I would have done... I can't... stand... to see you like this... I just... I want you to be okay... This is Hell, Yamamoto... This fucking room is Hell!" Sniffing, the silver-haired male waited until Tsuna had wiped his tears away before he continued on. "Wait until you're out of that shitty bed and back to your usual clueless self; I'll fucking yell at you then! But for now... For now, we can just forget it... This isn't the time or place, Yamamoto..."
"I love you, Gokudera..." Knowing just how lucky he was to have gotten through this conversation without the other's temper reaching boiling point, Yamamoto was thankful; he knew that if he hadn't been careful about how he broke the news to his boyfriend, the other might even break up with him in fury - Gokudera just had that kind of temper and irrational thinking about him. "I love you so much..."
"I love you, too, Yamamoto..." Wishing he could crawl onto the bed with the taller male, Gokudera settled for sitting in his wheelchair instead. "You're fucking lucky I'm not in the mood for fighting... I'll make up for it double once you're home, so make sure you're prepared for a verbal bashing."
Chuckling to himself, Yamamoto closed his eyes. "I wouldn't have it any other way, Gokudera... I did mess up, after all..."
"Yeah, yeah... Just get some rest and make sure you're out of here as soon as possible; I'm not sure how much more of this hospital I can take."
Wishing he could nod in agreement, Yamamoto instead hummed. Letting his attention wander briefly to Jiro's bandana still in his hand, he tried his hardest to grasp it tighter, wanting the comfort of knowing that, though his dog was gone, he still had his loved ones in his life; he had never truly understood his patients and their loneliness before, but now he was feeling as if he could relate a little better to them - the loneliness he was feeling right now was enough to make him wonder just how Squalo had pulled through being abandoned by the parents he had loved more than anything.

"Lussuria..." Shaking the flamboyant male's shoulder, Mammon tried to get her friend out of bed; the usually-cheerful man had been hit hard by Squalo's departure, and she was worried that his bipolar was about to turn his moods upside down once again. "Lussuria, you can't lay here all day every day."
Mumbling something incomprehensible, Lussuria tried to bury his face further beneath his pillow.
"Ryohei's worried about you." Sitting on the edge of the bed, Mammon tried her hardest, not wanting to let her friend slip; she hadn't been able to save Belphegor, no matter what she had done, so she couldn't let Lussuria go as well. "He wanted to come and see you to make sure you're alright, but something came up with his wife, so he's gone for a few days."
Finally lifting his head up from the pillow, Lussuria frowned deeply. "Ryohei isn't here...?"
"No."
"...I miss Squa..." Reaching up to slip his hand beneath his glasses, the man sobbed. "Why did they have to take him...? He's probably so scared and upset..."
"I know..." Angry at everyone who had caused their friend's untimely departure, Mammon narrowed her eyes. "They shouldn't be doing this to us; we're fine here."
"Who are they going to take next...?" The fright in Lussuria's voice made the woman feel sick, knowing this wasn't normal behaviour for her fellow Varia patient; Lussuria was such a happy person when his bipolar was stable, and no matter what, he wasn't scared - was he really that distraught over leaving behind all he had known for the past eighteen years of his life that he would himself slip this far?
"I don't know..." Closing her eyes, Mammon ran a hand through her indigo locks. "We just... need to stick together..."
"We tried that, and Squalo's gone..." Lussuria sniffed as his bedroom door was opened and Xanxus and Leviathan walked in. "X-xanxus... Levi..."
Mammon knew her friends well, and there should be no force on this earth that would prompt either of those two men to step into Lussuria's room and sit quietly against the wall; were they still shaken up by this as well?
As if he had read her mind, Xanxus turned to the long-haired woman, muttering, "I have no one to fight with now... It's too quiet..."
Mammon had never thought that she would miss Squalo's loud facade, but here she was, wishing she could still hear him and Xanxus fighting; it would be a lot more comforting than living in fear of being taken away from the only facility that could look after them.
No one said anything more about this; they all instead soon found themselves curled up, fast asleep as they revelled in the comfort their fellow patients gave them.
Though Squalo was gone, and no one knew who was next, it was okay for now; they still had each other, and that was all that mattered.

Sitting quietly at the kitchen table in Dino's home, Fran sipped at his glass of orange juice as his emerald eyes drank in the mathematical diagrams the blond was explaining to him; school had finished a few hours ago, and once the teacher had finished off what he needed to do in his office, he had taken Fran back to his home where Tsuna would eventually come to collect him.
"This is Pythagoras' Theorem," Dino explained as he rested his finger on the explanation of said topic. "It's really very simple and straight-forward. Have you got your calculator ready?"
Fran nodded, sliding the device to rest by the plate of fruit his guardian had prepared for him to snack on. He put his orange juice down so that he could pay more attention to what he was being taught, finding that he was really very interested in learning now that he had a teacher who would spend as long as it took to help him understand the topics - he was no longer yelled at for having no idea what he was learning, pushed away by fear from the topic of school, instead excited to finally understand what everyone else seemed to fly through without questions.
"The rule of Pythagoras is - oh, hello, Kyouya; I didn't hear you come in." Dino looked up as his lover entered the house, glad to see that the younger was home safe; he sometimes worried if the skylark was safe or not. Pulling Enzo out of his jacket pocket, he smiled as tiny hands instantly reached for his pet, letting the boy take hold of the turtle. "Enzo says hello, too."
Hibari turned to look at the two males before he moved to the kettle, flicking it on to make himself a cup of tea. "Those other herbivores will be here soon; I've called an urgent meeting."
Dino frowned at these words, knowing that something was seriously wrong if the younger was resorting to 'crowding' in his own home. "What happened?"
"You'll find out. Continue on with what you are doing."
Dino nodded, turning his attention back to Fran. He smiled as the youngest played with Enzo quietly, having quickly discovered the Varia patient liked the reptile very much; the student had loved for the turtle to sit on his desk while he did his work, probably having never truly felt the security pets could bring before apart from the little time he had spent with Jiro.
"Sorry, Fran." Dino ruffled teal hair gently before he stifled a yawn. "Do you want to continue, or have you had enough for today?"
Licking his lips, emerald eyes darted to the side before he whispered, "J-just this last topic, please... It looks fun..."
"Alright. We'll finish this one." Loving his job as much as he did, Dino was only too happy to keep teaching the boy; he was just worried Fran may burn himself out if they kept going for much longer. "Get your calculator ready."
From behind the counter, Hibari watched his boyfriend. He hadn't said anything to the blond about the facility, much less Squalo being taken away, and he could only wonder how Dino would react once told he would probably never see his best friend again.
Shaking his head, Hibari picked the kettle up and went about making his tea, needing to sit down for a while; he had had a long day, and he needed a nap.

"Froggy."
Fran looked away from the reptile enclosure he had been helping Dino clean, surprised to hear Belphegor's voice. "Bel-senpai?"
The blond patient in question was standing behind Shoichi and Spanner, his head cocked to the side in confusion. "What are you doing here?"
"..." Looking between the two blonds, Fran nibbled at his lip, not sure how to reply. "...I dunno... I... I was at school... Waiting for... Tsuna..."
Shrugging, Belphegor moved to the couch. He sat down in the middle of it, not caring that other people needed somewhere to sit as well. In his arms, he held Mink carefully as the animal slept against him. Fran was quick to bound over once he realised the other had a pet with him, wanting to see what it was.
"Can I hold him?" Holding his arms out in question, Fran's emerald eyes watched as the blond reached out to tug him closer. The pet was soon deposited in his arms, and he couldn't help but stare down at it, thinking it was one of the most beautiful creatures he had ever seen; that silky white fur adorning the animal looked as if it had been bred to perfection. "What's his name?"
"Mink." Pulling Fran so that the boy was sitting on his lap, Bel dropped his chin in teal hair. "This is shit; the prince was having nice dreams when those two stupid peasants woke me up and told me to get in the car."
Lifting his hand, the boy patted his wing-mate's face warily. He then looked back down at Mink, taking hold of the bushy tail that was swishing slightly. "I like Mink, senpai."
"He bites. The four-eyes says it hurts a lot when he does, so give him back if he wakes up."
The youngest nodded, making himself more comfortable in the man's lap; he felt just as safe with Belphegor as he did Mukuro, trusting the blond to not hurt him - after all, how could someone who knew what it was like to suffer possibly hurt others the same way?
"Belphegor, will you please move over?" Spanner was standing by the couch, his fingers itching to reach out and caress his patient's face. "We need to sit down as well."
"No." Sticking his nose up in the air, Bel wrapped his arms around his friend's waist. "I am comfortable here."
"Just leave him be, Spanner," Shoichi called, pointing over to the second couch pressed against the wall opposite the one Belphegor had claimed. "There's room here, and he'll probably move soon anyway."
The younger blond nodded, following his boyfriend over to the spare couch. Hibari, who had let the two in, was standing in the archway as he surveyed his guests. "The Sawada herbivore should be here any minute now."
While Dino finished cleaning out his pet's enclosure, Hibari headed into the kitchen to make some snacks for his guests; while he would have much rather for his partner handle this, he knew not to let the other handle their food after touching the turtle and its home.
Bel was quiet as he sat there, trying to go back to sleep as he hid his face in the boy's hair. Fran had busied himself with stroking his small fingers through silky fur, and he looked up only when he heard Tsuna's voice.
Climbing off the blond's lap hastily, Fran startled the now half-asleep male with the sudden movement. He carefully dropped Mink to the couch before he closed the distance between he and the brunet until he was close enough to wrap his arms around his guardian's middle, burying his face in against the man's stomach.
"Did you have a good day at school?" Tsuna smiled down at his charge as he patted a teal head affectionately. He felt his chest warm with joy as the younger nodded, just glad that they seemed to be making progress with him at a fast rate. "That's great. Go and sit back down now, okay?"
Fran nodded, returning back to his spot on Belphegor's lap. He relaxed as thin arms wrapped back around him, pulling him against the other's fragile chest.
Tsuna, who had wheeled Gokudera into the house, placed him by the end of the couch Shoichi and Spanner had sat on. He, too, made himself comfortable next to his friends, watching as Dino left the room to wash his hands before coming to squeeze himself in between Belphegor and the arm of the couch.
Hibari didn't take much longer to come out of the kitchen, and when he did, he carried a platter of fruit and snacks, with plastic cups and a bottle of soda for his guests; he wasn't a fan of soft drink, much preferring a cup of tea instead.
While Belphegor tried to snatch it all away for himself, only to have his hands smacked away by Hibari, the other guests were polite as they helped themselves, knowing it must have taken a lot for the skylark to put himself out there and do this for them.
"What did you need to talk to us about?" Tsuna was patient as he held one of the plastic cups to Gokudera's lips, helping him drink.
Hibari, who was leaning against the wall to keep away from the others, glanced at his lover before he said, "You'll need to pass it on to the baseball herbivore, but you're all going to have to find new jobs."
There were startled gasps around the room before Shoichi exclaimed, "Why?!"
Shrugging, the raven-haired male simply said, "Because I can't do anything to stop the facility from closing."
"Wait." Dino, who was shocked by these words as well, frowned. "What's going to happen to the patients if it's closing?"
"That green herbivore is with him." Jerking his thumb at Tsuna, Hibari let his eyes slip closed. "The board is trying to find new facilities for the others. So far, only one patient has been transferred. I don't know what will happen to the others; no one else will take them."
Belphegor, who really wasn't paying all that much attention to this conversation in the first place, pushed Fran off his lap so that he could stand up. He stretched for a few seconds before he wandered off down the hall, curious about his new surroundings.
Fran whimpered as he watched the other go before he chased after Bel, wanting to stick close to the older male's side; he wasn't liking what he was hearing, and he didn't want to know how this conversation was about to end.
"Well, what about Squalo?" Dino couldn't help but fear most for his best friend, knowing how badly he needed to stay where he was; he had friends at that facility, and staff who cared deeply about his wellbeing. "He is –"
"- Now in Kokuyo." Cracking open an eyelid, Hibari wasn't surprised at the heartbreak that crossed the stronger male's face. "So far, he's been the only one taken in."
Dino stiffened at these words, horrified to know that the younger male was somewhere strange and unfamiliar to him, without anyone he knew and trusted to help him settle in; knowing Squalo, and how fast the other could slip without warning, he could only imagine what his childhood friend was going through.
Jumping off the couch, Dino snatched his car keys from the coffee table in front of him, hurrying out the front door and to his sleek black car parked in the driveway.
"Why didn't you say anything about this to us before…?" Tsuna truly didn't know what was bothering him the most; that he was about to lose the job that he loved, that his boss had hidden this from them all until he couldn't any longer, or that the patients they had worked so hard with where about to be shipped off to places that probably wouldn't be able to handle them. "We could have done something about this!"
"…" Shaking his head, Hibari knew there wasn't anything they could have done; if that were possible, they wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.
"I'm going to go down and see everyone," Tsuna promised, anxiously waiting this meeting out; he needed to go and make sure the other patients were doing alright, and see if there was anything he could do to make them more comfortable about this. "Is there anything else you need to talk to us about?"
"Changes have been forced by the board; they're mad that you herbivores have been doing things outside of the rules. They want the prince herbivore back in his restraints permanently for one, and –"
"- But he's doing so well!" the redhead argued, unable to bear the thought of breaking the progress his patient had been making. "We can't put him back in there!"
"The rules have been enforced, so listen to them or I will bite you to death." Shaking his head, Hibari wondered how his employees had even managed to get him to become lax on his usual stance of not allowing anyone to break rules; he suddenly went from authority no one dared cross, to turning a blind eye when things were done outside of the rules. "You may keep him for tonight, but he is to go back tomorrow."
Looking at Spanner, Shoichi wanted nothing more than to be able to keep the older male with them; Belphegor was finally starting to trust them, and it would shatter every little bit of progress he had made so far if he were forced back into the confines he hated more than anything.
"Speaking of him, you should go and find him before he escapes through a window or something." Pointing to the spot the blond had been occupying previously, the older male gave Shoichi a stern look. "He's been gone too long."
Standing up from the couch, the redhead was quick to leave through the hallway, trying to track down his patient; he knew he shouldn't have let the other leave unsupervised without the house being secured of anything he could hurt himself or others with, but he was truly starting to believe that they would soon be able to slowly start reintroducing him to sharp objects and giving him some reign with them; Belphegor really was doing better.

"Senpai…" Fran looked up at his companion as the two stepped into what looked to be an office of sorts. Feeling the larger hand squeeze his, the boy pressed himself against Belphegor. "…Are we allowed in here…?"
"Of course we are." Letting go of the younger's hand, Belphegor approached the desk pressed against the wall opposite him. He cocked his head as he stared at it, having never seen one of these before. He frowned as he looked at the monitor, finding a black screen with bubbles floating everywhere.
Pulling the chair out from beneath the desk, Belphegor sat down and stared at the screen for a few minutes. He eventually sighed, swinging around to pout at Fran as he said, "This movie is really boring… No wonder no one's in here watching it."
Fran, who had seen a similar computer before in Tsuna's home, moved forward. He nudged the mouse slightly in order to cancel the screensaver, emitting a slight jolt of surprise from his friend as the screen instantly changed to one of a desert with lots of little icons scattered around the screen.
"This is even worse," Belphegor complained, poking at the monitor. "It's just… Nothing's even moving on this movie!" Looking at the tower placed next to the monitor, the blond pressed the first button he saw. "How do I change it to something better?"
Fran blinked as the disc drive opened, tilting his head as Belphegor immediately sat his plastic cup in the gap. "Senpai, that's –"
"This is awesome!" Childish glee soon crossed the young man's features as he clapped his hands together, a large grin stretched across his face. "It has a cup holder!" Getting up from the chair, the blond moved to examine the tower closely, picking it up from the desk to turn it around. He paid no heed to the soda that was spilling into the tower, thinking that the sizzling noises he could hear were normal.
"Belphegor!"
Both Varia patients jumped at Shoichi's urgent whisper, Belphegor dropping the heavy tower to the floorboards. The cords in the back of it tugged harshly at the monitor, dragging it into the brick wall hard enough to break the screen.
Shoichi was horrified as he looked at the mess on the floorboards, his stomach starting to cramp in anxiety; while Dino would be kind and understanding if it were him who was told about the computer, the same couldn't be said about Hibari; the skylark would probably attempt to beat the shit out of the two patients for so much as looking at his possessions.
Running forward to pull the cords out of the electrical sockets, Shoichi could only whimper as he reached out, tugging the smaller males out of the room as if to hide the evidence. "Hibari's going to kill you!"
Grunting, Belphegor crossed his arms against his chest, standing his ground. "Peasants shouldn't sneak up on princes like that!"
Knowing he couldn't scold the other for something he truly didn't mean to do, Shoichi could only hope he could hide this from Hibari long enough to talk to Dino first. Pulling his phone from his pocket, the psychologist went through his contacts to click on his friend's name, putting the phone to his ear.
"Shoichi?" There was a radio playing in the background, telling the redhead that Dino was still driving. "What's wrong?"
Clutching his stomach tightly with one arm, the younger male frowned. "U-uh, it's… It's just that… B-belphegor and Fran kind of… went exploring, and… They, umm… broke the computer…"
"What did they do to it?" As expected of Dino, the teacher didn't sound mad in the slightest.
"…There's soda in it, and… They dropped the tower…"
"That's fine, Shoichi; it's not important." Dino chuckled slightly before he continued on. "I doubt they meant it anyway. I'll give Kyouya a call and ask him to take it to a repair shop and see what they can do."
"Please ask him not to be angry at them; it was an accident."
"I understand. I'll call you back later; I'm still driving."
Shoichi said his goodbyes as he ended the call before he turned to frown at the other two. "Be glad it was me who found you both and not Hibari."
Fran nodded hastily, his fingers curled tightly into the other's striped sleeve as he pressed harder against Belphegor again. "I am very glad..."
As expected, Belphegor simply tugged Fran along as he moved, ready to seek out his next adventure; he had been told before he was too curious, but he didn't believe that; he simply liked exploring and learning about his new surroundings and everything in it.
~~XX~~
Finally arriving at the Kokuyo Mental Health Facility, Dino rushed into the building and to reception. Though his request to see Squalo had been accepted, the blond was being escorted to the younger's room, and this scared him; it was clear already that, unlike his lover's facility that was gentle and understanding with the patients, these people meant business.
Finally, after what felt like forever, the two stopped outside of a door. Holding his breath, Dino watched as it was unlocked and opened, and when he saw what awaited him inside, he felt anger wash over him.
Turning to look at his escort, Dino snarled, "Get that straitjacket off him now!"
"We can't do that; he's assaulted every staff member who's come near him, and has self-harmed when given the chance."
"Why would you give him the chance when that's what he's here for?!" Dino had never considered himself to be an aggressive person, but when seeing his best friend locked away in a padded room and treated worse than a dog, well… Of course he was going to get angry! "You have no idea how to work with him, do you?! Take it off him!"
"Bucking Horse…" The whimper that escaped Squalo's throat was weak, as if he were close to tears.
Ignoring the man who had brought him here, Dino instead rushed into the room. He sat on the floor beside his best friend, pulling Squalo into a hug. A head of silver hair fell limply onto his shoulder, a single tear sliding down the younger's face.
"I want to go back…" Squalo whispered, his dark eyes squeezed shut tight. "I hate it here… I miss Xanxus and the others… Please, take me back…"
It was rare for Dino to cry, but seeing his friend so broken and defeated made tears of his own slip down his cheeks. He buried his face in dirty silver hair as he squeezed the smaller male tight, wishing he knew how to help.
"It's going to be okay, Squalo… It's going to be okay… We'll work something out… I promise…"
"I want to go home…" His body shaking with sobs, Squalo desperately wished he had the freedom to cling to his friend. "I want to go home…"
Unsure of whether or not the younger was referring to the home he had once shared with his parents or the facility he had spent the majority of his life in, Dino couldn't blame the other for anything; Squalo didn't deserve anything that had happened to him, and now…
Holding his friend close, Dino allowed silent tears to drip down his face as Squalo cried himself into a fitful sleep. He had no idea what he could do for the younger, but he would do whatever he could to get his friend out of here; Squalo was too important to him to let the ill male suffer through more pain.
