It's YOU
Part 12 ~I don\'t believe it~
The next day most of Schwarz spent their time preparing fhe ohe oncoming mission. Well it wasn’t exactly a mission. Takatori was attending a party type conference with the rest of his businessmen and politicians. It just happened to be one based on Valentine’s. Both Schuldig and Crawford groaned at the idea of pink hearts and streamers.
In the early afternoon Farferello woke up, the others had let him sleep in, assuming they could get more done before hand if he wasn’t around to bother them. Most of the time up until the others left Schuldig remained teasing the Irishman whilst Crawford reprimanded him for not doing the work he’d been given to do. Pouting the red head had continued his work much to the sniggers of the madman. Nagi had caught Farferello going through his room, and had decided to show him what he’d brought that day.
“If you tell Crawford I’ll hurt you, he’d kill me if he found out I had this”.
From the bag, he produced a few shirts, one leather, and the other plastic see-through with white arms.
“Schuldig promised to take me to one of his clubs on my 16th and I thought when we went shopping it’d be the only time I’d be able to get this stuff”.
He blushed a little as he placed the garments away.
“You could have just asked…you just need pants now. I’ll get some for your birthday”.
They both grinned as Farferello left the room, allowing the boy to get ready for the mission.
Just after 5pm all three emerged ready for the conference in there whiter than white suits. It wasn’t until six but they had to meet Takatori and get there first.
Crawford went out first after telling Farferello to clean any messes he made up before they got home around eleven or twelve that night and to not kill anything whilst they were gone. Nagi left wishing him luck and before Schu left he pulled a paper bag from under his bed and gave it over to Farferello.
“Just in case you get lucky…. And I want all DETAILS”.
He grinned at the blush Farferello had on his face when he opened the bag and squeaked.
“LUBE!”
Heshedshed and pushed the man out of the door, growing redder at his giggles after. As soon as he heard the car pull away he went to get ready.
~~~
First he showered. Washing his hair with some strawberry type of shampoo he always took from the German and blamed on Nagi and bathed for almost an hour. He soaked up the water and then just before six, now wrinkly and the water cold he got out, wrapping a towel around him before he went to get ready. He wandered around the now empty house, wondering if he’d ever been left on his own before without being tied up. Shrugging he went into his room, pulling his towel off and used it to dry his hair before he picked out up his clothing for the occasion. He got dressed, pants first, and grimaced when he realized the pair of pants he’d brought were smaller than when he’d tried in the shop and had to go without underwear. He sighed and giggled at going commando before taking his shirt from the hanger Nagi had placed it on for him.
The shirt was a dark red mesh; it matched perfectly with the pants. It had no sleeves and it went down to just above his belly button, the neck of it open, and coming just past his should blades in a rip. He grinned. The shirt was expensive even though there wasn’t much there but it looked good according to Nagi, though he did feel a little self-conscious. The guy he was meeting was supposed to be cute and here he was, scarred with one eye and less than sane. He tried to think of it in a good way though, after all, his admirer must know this stuff, he did know where he lived so he assumed the guy had seen him before. He still had no clue to who it could be other than someone from Weiss which made him cringe or someone from his own team.
He did wit wit was one person though, but he doubted it would be them, he’d had his crush for almost six months, and preyed that this valentine would help him forget him.
Just before seven, he pulled his coat on; placed his newly acquired earrings in his ears, and eye patch which was a comfort to wear, and he leThe The walk to the park took him to a few minutes past seven. It was getting dark slowly, but he was able to find the blue seat. Glaring at the child on it, the small boy soon jumped off and ran to the slide, hiding behind it until; the Irishman left. Tipping the seat he picked up the note taped to it and opened the small envelope.
‘Go to the small bakery, down this road and take two lefts. Here you will see a bird tree. The note is in the roof’.
Farferello looked up and around him before starting off on the small walk down the road. It took him another ten minutes before he arrived, and after getting pecked by a bird in the birds’ large cage he was able to retrieve the note.
‘Sorry about the birds, they got me, if they got you. Take the alley way at the bottom of this street, after, turn right. You will see a wall with graffiti on it, pick the largest stone up there and read’.
Farferello sighed, glaring at the bird’s cage once more befoolloollowing the instructions. The road seemed long as he hurried down it and to the alleyway, glaring in warning at a few kids at the bottom to not mess with him. Coming out of the alley way lead him into a quiet street. As asked he turned right and kept walking until he came across the gratified wall.
He picked up the stone and read the instructions, he followed them to the next section and the clue from then on. At just before 8pm he got his last note, he followed it along the street and thought he recognized his surroundings. Keeping an eye on the note, re-reading he walked his way up the path he’d been given the address of and stopped.
“Nani…?”
He was back at thhwarhwarz apartment.
It was only then he’d realized he’d walked around in a large circle.
“I…I’ve been tricked”.
His heart fell to the bottom of his stomach as he realized he’d just gone on a goose chase for nothing. He blinked back a few tears; arms drooping sadly as he unlocked the door and entered the quiet, dark, apartment.
Sniffing sadly he walked through, thinking how Schu was right. He shouldn’t have got his hopes up. Another thing to blame god on. He shrugged his coat off, leaving it on the floor as he continued through the apartment. Opening the door to the living room he blinked at a few lights around him.
“Huh…. C-candles?”
He blinked in confusion and then his eye shut tightly when the glow of the lamp behind him made his eye hurt at the brightness. He blinked them open when he felt something move behind him.
“Hello Farfie”.
Farferello gasped, he turned around and looked straight into the eyes of his admirer. He clutched one of the chairs near him in shock.
“It was you all along”.
