Well, well. Sorry about the *cough-3-cough* day delay! It seems people are growing restless. *beams happily* So I got right to work. This next chapter is long, and isn\'t really naughty in any sense. But I\'m getting there. Next chapter will probably give me a good place to start a juicy lemon. And trust me, it\'ll be worth your wait. ;)
Thank you for the reviews, they were all very sweet and supportive. I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Chapter: 3 - Fading Storms, Growing Anxiousness.
Silence had drenched the two ex-hunters\' bond since their earlier encounter. They had gotten back to the apartment, changed, and had not said a single word to the other the whole time. Neither could sleep. Amon knew that they should try and get some rest for their traveling at dawn, but it was futile. It was already 3:47 am.
Candles lit the dark room, Amon busied himself on his laptop, checking up on SOLOMON\'s recent activities and where-abouts with Michael back at the STN-J. Robin sat on the edge of their small bed beside a candle, reading some papers on Touto\'s research and his wife Maria, including some documents about the happenings in America with the Salem Witch Trials. She had become obsessed with wanting to learn more about her own kind and past since she had found the Archanian of the Craft. Neither her nor Amon were paying attention to their work though. Both continued to steal glances at the other all the while, and each mind was flooded with visions and the special words in the encounter of that night.
Amon\'s cell phone broke the silence, shaking him and Robin out of their thoughts. \"Hm? ...Alright. We\'ll check it out.\"
Robin looked up curiously and Amon felt her inquiring gaze on him, \"Nagira says there\'s a place not far from where he lives that he believes we can stay at safely for atleast a week.\" Robin nodded and sat her papers and notebooks down, hugging her knees to her chest and resting her chin on them. Her eyes carefully followed Amon\'s movements with admiration flooding the green orbs. He wrote down the addresses of a few appartments and hotels that Nagira had told him were the cheapest. Robin arched her delicate eyebrows slightly, \"Amon...?\" He looked up from the piece of paper he was writing on. \"What is it?\"
She inwardly smiled and shook her head, \"It\'s nothing, nevermind.\" Amon frowned and finished the last part of the address and unhooked his laptop, putting it all in a small pack that contained his damp under shirt. \"We can get an early start and check out these places. Your clothes are in the dryer. I\'ll be waiting when you\'re done.\" He stood before she had a time to reply and pulled on his still slightly damp trench coat and boots. Robin stood up and put her reading articles in her small knapsack. She had been wearing one of Amon\'s undershirts to cover herself. Even though Amon had already seen her naked, since they had returned to their appartment, she had felt slightly uncomfortable in his presence.
Stepping into the tiny laundry-room portion of the kitchen, she peeled off his shirt and dressed in her usual pilgrim\'s dress and crimson velvet trench coat.
After slipping on her boots and grabbing her knapsack she ran out to the hall which led to the door while tieing up her hair in it\'s usual fashion. Amon stood by the door as she approached, \"I\'m ready,\" was all that was said as they walked outside and hopped into Amon\'s car.
The skies above them were filled with ominous clouds as the storm slowly departed. The moon shown through a thin patch of greyish clouds, giving the sky around the moon an eerie bluish glow. Very few stars were to be seen, and the ones that shown, sparkled like diamonds in all their splendor.
Robin looked out the window and clenched her hands together gently in her lap, letting a very faint sigh escape her lips as she rested her head against the window. She closed her crisp green eyes and let the vibrations of the car as it sped down the road lull her to a nice rest. Sleep had definitely overcome her senses. Her breathing became shallow and slow. Amon looked over her briefly and shook his head, returning his focus back to the empty road. \'I can\'t afford to fall in love with a witch.\' he returned his gaze to the sleeping Robin. \'But despite that..\' A faint frown creased his lips before he tore his eyes off Robin again, gripping the steering wheel tighter in his hands.
They arrived half an hour later to one of the locations. Amon glanced out his windowshield at a sign not too far from the entrance, \"Hm. Tsuyakai\'s Inn.\" He turned his gaze to the sleeping Robin from the corners of his eyes for a long moment before gently touching her shoulder, but speaking harsh and coldly, \"Robin. Wake up, we\'re here.\" The young witches\' eyes fluttered open and she sat up, nodding groggily. \"I\'m sorry, Amon. I didn\'t realize I has fallen asleep...\" He unlocked their doors, \"You better take down your hair. We\'ve never stayed here before, and that style is your trademark. Someone might recognize you.\"
Robin reached up and pulled out her crimson ribbons, tieing them around her wrists instead. She shook out her honey blonde locks and brushed some strands behind her right ear. Nodding to Amon, they grabbed their packs and stepped out of the car in unison.
Before Robin could knock, the door to the small house-like Inn opened. A little old woman, looking to be in her late 50\'s opened the door and greeted them with a warm smile, \"You be staying here, mm?\" Amon nodded, \"Possibly.\" The old woman\'s smile got larger and she opened the door wider, ushering the two semi-shocked witches inside. \"Aye! Come in then! Would you like me to start you some tea?\" Robin nodded, \"That would be nice, thank you. I can hel-..\" The old woman waved her hand and smiled, \"Oh, nonsense, child. I may look old but I still have alot of life in my bones! You make yourself at home in the living room, I\'ll be with you shortly!\"
Robin and Amon took off their boots at the door and went into the room they were instructed. Both sat adjacent to one-another on the floor mat infront of a small table, setting their belongings aside. The older woman hurried back into the room, two cups of tea on a small platter. She sat it before the two witches and smiled warmly, \"I hope I made it good for you!\" Robin smiled and took a sip of her tea, \"Oh.. yes, this is good, thank you.\"
Amon leaned foward, being one to always get down to the point, he questioned the woman, \"How much money would we be paying for a room?\" The elder just smiled and shook her head, \"No money needed, son. I\'ll be greatful for your company. It\'s been so loinceince someone has stayed here!\" Amon arched an eyebrow and sat back, \"If you insist.\" Robin shook her head slightly, \"No. I want to repay you somehow. If not money, then please allow me to help you with keeping this place clean.\"
The woman seemed taken aback but smiled, \"Such a sweet child. If you wish to, then I have no problems! Is this handsome young man your husband?\" She averted her eyes to Amon. Robin blushed and looked down at her tea, \".. No. He\'s not my husband.\" The woman sat back suspiciously, \"How old are you, child?\" Robin looked up, \"Oh.. I\'m almost 17. Why?\"
\"It\'s nothing, child. Just most women your age are wed by now!\" the old woman said with a grin.
Amon took a sip of his hot tea to hide the pinkish contrast on his pale cheeks. He finished gulping down the semi-sweet tea and sat his silver cup down on the platter, nodding his thanks.
The woman smiled. \"Would you like me to show you to your room now?\" They both nodded. She eyed the two as they stood, grabbing their packs. Robin took the dishes to the kitchen and sat them on the counter with her belongings. She pulled up her sleeves and turned on the water. The dishes were cleaned and put away in their cabinets. Robin grabbed her pack and returned to the living room with the patiently waiting duo. The old lady led the two upstairs to a very spacious and nice room.
The bed was in the center, it was large, clean and very soft looking. The blankets draped across where white tiger stripe-fur(not real, mind you). The walls were painted a very light grey. The carpet was white and shag. A window was on the left wall in the center, and in the wall facing the end of the bed was a large closet, to the left was a bathroom. A chair sat in a corner with a mat and small table like downstairs for eating on and tea in the center of the carpet, a few feet from the bed.
Robin stepped inside the lovely room and inhaled the sweet clean scent it carried. \"This room is beautiful, and so large and clean..\" The old woman smiled, \"I do tend to get bored, so I always keep the guest room as nice as possible.\"
Robin nodded, \"You do a very good job. May I ask your name?\"
\"Oh! Excuse me for such rudeness. My name is Miss Sienna Tsuyakai. You may call me by my first name if you like!\" Robin smiled after the old woman\'s answer and gestured to Amon, \"This is my.. partner.. Amon.. and I am Robin. It\'s a pleasure to meet you.\" Robin had strained to get the word \'partner\' out, causing Amon and the elder to look at her curiously.
The woman smiled knowingly, \"You two make yourself at home. It\'s almost 5, I need to go to work. You two look very exhausted. I have no problems with you sleeping in if you want. I\'ll be back around 4 pm. If you\'re up before then, there\'s plenty of food in the kitchen. Help yourself!\"
Amon and Robin thanked the woman and gave her small bows before she waved bye and was gone.
The two witches did look particularly tired. Amon tugged off his jacket and hung it in the closet. \"Robin, I\'ll sleep in the chair.\" The young witch hung her coat up aswell and shook her head, \"No, Amon. This is the first night in almost a year that we\'ve had a good bed to sleep in. Please do yourself the favor. You need it.\" He eyed her while closing the closet door, \"I suppose you\'re right.\" He normally didn\'t obey the young witch, but this was no arguing matter. He was very tired, and the sleep the comfy bed could offer was like chocolate icecream for a 5 year old. Robin smiled inwardly and uped ped her dress while Amon began pulling off his shirt.
Robin left her panties on and Amon silently thanked the Gods that she did. He sighed groggily and ran a hair through his black locks. He picked up their two packs and sat them on the nightstand beside the bed. Robin retreated to the bathroom half nude and told Amon she\'d get washed up before bed. Closing the bathroom door behind her, she started the water, but didn\'t get in. She sighed and dropped onto her knees on the rug, resting her elbows on the side of the bath tub. Laced fingers clenched slightly as Robin leaned foward and silently prayed. Praying had become necessary to her lately to help keep her hope. The power of prayer was what kept her going. She prayed to the Gods about Amon and their predicament with SOLOMON, about his well-being and the others back at the STN-J. She prayed for the Gods to grace her and Amon with the strength to hold on till this ended.
She prayed for a good 20 minutes before standing and doing a catholic cross over her heart and forehead. She let the water out and left the bathroom, gently closing the door behind her. The lights were out and Amon had already climbed under the covers and was resting soundly. Robin soon followed suit, but soon felt restless again. She wanted to touch him and have him in her arms, and her in his. Biting her lip she edged closer to Amon\'s chest. Almost feather like, she rested her arm over his hips and cuddled close, nuzzling her head against his shoulder. She was blushing furiously, but didn\'t care. She liked this. To her shock, Amon inhaled her hair, taking in her scent as he wrapped his arms securely around her hips aswell, as if protecting her in his sleep.
They laid tangled like that and Robin slowly fell into a slumber listening to Amon\'s steady heart-beat and breathing...

A little fast moving, I know. I think it\'s decent for someone who hasn\'t slept though!
Enjoy. <3
