Disclaimer: I do not own Gensomaden Saiyuki, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
Disclaimer : I don’t own Saiyuki in anyway, damn. Don’t own the song either, ‘Gone With The Wind’ off Blackmore’s Nights.
ingsings/Comments : I have to say, this is one of the first Saiyuki stories I’ve ever really done. For the time being, this isn’t anythioo soo serious, I’m just bored and want to see how far along it goes. More or less AU/TWT, violence, yaoi most definitely. Bet it blows chunks… XP
Glad to see it’s rather liked so far, so I’ll keep on for the time.
The Golden Bird
Chapter 3
By Reppa
Twisting turning
The winds are burning
Leaving me without a name
How will we ever find our way...
Snow was falling
I could hear the frightened calling
Fear taking over every man
Life meaning nothing more than sand...
Wind will sweep away
The traces I was here
A story in a teardrop
That's all I have to give...
Rage inferno swallowing the life that I know
Strength is the only way to fight
You must look up to see the light...
Gone With The Wind...Gone With The Wind...Gone
With The Wind...
Take all I know
Turn it into darkened shadows
They'll disappear in the sun
When a new story has begun
She survived the nightmare
Began a whole new life here
But I can see behind those eyes
She still sees those fires in the night...
Twisting and turning
Oh, the winds are burning
Leaving me without a name
How will we ever find our way…
Luckily Hakkai had been right in the fact they weren’t far from a town, though it wasn’t like they had been that close either. But regardless of the distance, Gojyo managed to drive Jeep into the medium sized town. It was hard not to run down people in the street who were more occupied with looking around like a bunch of turkeys then move out of the way while the kappa slammed a fist down on the horn. Jeep obviously didn’t like that, screeching to a halt in the middle of the street halfway thr and and refused to move further. “Damn dragon, move! Go! What the hell are you doing?!”
“Gojyo…” Hakkai murmured lightly, somewhat flushed as he watched his friend have a temper tantrum with his dragon. The chi user had done a fair amount of bleeding, however the wounds in his bacd cld clotted up and he suffered no further blood loss. He had to rest. But their main problem was Sanzo and the poison in his system, “Gojyo, I’ll have Hakuryuu locate an inn, you need to take Sanzo and find any apothecaries or doctors in this town…we have no idea how bad he‘s off.”
Slowly, the dark haired youkai moved from the backseat to take over his position as driver despite his good friend’s objections. He assured him he was fine and that they had more to worry for on their plate, “Just do it, and when you find them, get some healing supplie wel well. Hakuryuu will be waiting outside the inn.”
It wasn’t good to separate themselves from each other, but under the circumstances, they had little choice. Hakkai needed rest badly and the poisoned monk couldn’t exactly join him without being cured. With a faint grumble, the red haired youkai scooped Sanzo up from the back of the seat, ignoring Goku as the boy whined. The monkey really didn’t want to leave the blond’s side, but he didn’t have a real choice. Gojyo sighed, watching them go on ahead. Then his crimson eyes left them to glance around hurriedly, he needed to find some healers and fast though with the number of sickly faces he saw, he wondered if there was even one around.
“Hey, you…” Gojyo called, approaching behind a small cluster of girls. They were cute, despite how pale a couple were and he would have appreciated a chance to do his thing if he didn’t have the wounded monk in his arms, moaning faintly. “Hey, one of you ladies gotta tell me where a doctor or medicine guy is!”
One with long, curleondeonde hair perked up and looked back at him in surprise before gasping at the side of Sanzo’s bleeding shoulder, “Oh, you want the doctor, we have no apothecaries…”
“The doctor’s in the red building over there, the flat roof.” A second girl, this one with short black hair added, pointing in the right direction for added help.
The red head winked at them, “Thanks, I’ll look you ladies up later!”

The abs of of any health care provider in the building was not what Gojyo wanted to see. There were no nurses, no people waiting to be seen to, and certainly no doctor to find. Damn his luck. The kappa made his way into the back and laid Sanzo out on the medical table, head lowered then and rubbing his forehead. What was he to do now? “Shit…I doubt I’d be able to find anythinke ake an antidote, fuck…”
“We’ve got some vulgar language, don’t we?” A calm, lazy voice queried as a white coated man stepped in from outside. Nii had been outside, smoking a cigarette. He smirked, not having much in the way of patients since he’d already seen to an adequate number oe toe townspeople. Rubbing his hands together, he padded up to the comatose monk and leered down at him, “A youkai attack and poisonous spines, mm? We’ve had a few people run into that so it’s nothing…that can’t be fixed. Now, if you’ll just step outside-”
“Hell no, if you’re going to do whatever, you can do it in front of me.”
Gojyo wouldn’t budge from where he was, eying the doctor in a suspicion induced manner, a fact that already had Nii annoyed. He wanted some private time to look the blond Sanzo over before setting to work. Hands pressed together, he looked over his shoulder at the half breed, smirking, “I prefer privacy with my work, if you don’t step out then I will refuse your friend help and any medical needs you may have. And this poison can get pretty bad…So, will you run along and play now?”
For a moment, Gojyo’s jaw went a little slack. The guy had some nerve and if he had the time to look for someone else to help Sanzo, he would after knocking the stuffing out of the doctor. But it was hardly like he could do such a thing as he scowled angrily, hating the fact he had to leave. He didn’t trust Nii, not as far as he could throw him. “…! B…! But I’m gonna be right outside that door and if I hear any bullshit…”
“You’ll come charge in like a youkai in heat, yes, yes.” Waving a hand dismissively, Nii watched the kappa sulk his way out of the room, the Sutra and gun in hand, and closed the door as he exited. Tongue licking his lips lightly, he turned back to stare down at Sanzo. Truth be told…the poison had no truly horrendous toxins to it, only that it painfully stunned and made the victim very lethargic. Rolling his sleeves up, Nii slid his hands up and parted the blond’s robes to deal with his shoulder, smirking when he took note of the monk’s lack of clothing underneath.
The spines had been pulled from his shoulder and bound up, so it had already been mended to. Less work for him. “You, my dear boy, are going to need a few shots…” Pulling on a latex glove, Nii moved to the countertop, getting three syringes together. The first two were of regular sizes, one filled with the simple antidote for the poison in S’s b’s body. The second was filled with a potent drug designed to throw one’s balance and normal brain patterns out of whack. The third was filled with the serum already half the small town had been pumped full with. “Hopefully, you’re a lucky one that this doesn’t do you any real harm.”
The dark haired scientist let his ungloved hand comb through the monk’s gold hair before grabbing an ample fistful and jerking his head to the side. The needle of the second syringe buried itself into the side of his neck after swabbing and the pinkish fluid drained out before it was retracted. Next, the doctor moved to his other side, swabbing once more and injecting the antidote. The last syringe remained on the countertop, waiting it’s turn. But Nii had to let the other drugs due their work while he busied himself admiring the younger man’s figure.
Sanzo was a scrawny one, but attractive nonetheless. If the serum worked, and Nii had a good feeling it wouldk esk especially well here, the doctor pondered making the monk a little more special than the others…maybe a tattoo and he reasoned a nice pattern around the navel would be especially nice. His free hand wandered aimlessly over the priest’s bared thigh, over his hip and tracing over the dip of flesh that led down along his pelvis before trailing over his stomach and ribs. The monk had smooth skin as well.
