Killua
wipes tears from his eyes. A quick glance to the digital watch beside his bed
tells him it's some times past midnight. He had a nightmare again, the same
nightmare in eight years. Only this time it showed full force in the still
darkness of his house. The vision was so real he could almost feel them
on his body. He closes his eyes again when a lone tear runs down his cheek.
Eight years are not enough to wipe it from his memory, not even Gon could make
him forget long enough.

He
winces
when he shifts his body to a better position. The wound on his abdomen still stings. Sillva used his claws in their
session this morning, a totally unexpected move, and clawed Killua's abdomen.
It's not deep, but as he has practiced before, Zaoldyeck's nails are sharp.

"Damn."
he curses. He starts to think that maybe runaway again isn't such a bad idea.
He's much stronger, and his father had told him he could leave anytime he wants.
But that was four years ago, beside it's a tradition he's doing here. No matter
how twisted it may be. His family is an assassin family after all.

This
is a curse.

Damn,
but he thinks he's been cursed all his life without any of his family telling
him. First curse, being a Zaoldyeck. No one in their right side of mind would
want to have anything to do with an assassin family. Second, being the heir of a
family. It�s a boring thing. Period. The reason as of why Milluki would want
to be one is beyond him.

His
life is miserable enough with only those two. But God hates assassin. That's why
He gives him another curse. Illumi.

Having
a brother who constantly reminds you to behave or else he'll brainwash you is
every kid's nightmare. Not that he considers himself as one. But he has known
his brother a lifetime already. And he knows from experience that his brother is
everyone's walking nightmare.

Everyone
but those stronger than him, that is.

And
Hisoka. Heaven knows that clown is crazy enough to be in positions nobody else
want to be in. He shudders at the thought of the manic magician.

And
talking about Illumi and Hisoka. Killua has
a very bad feeling about the phone
call his brother got when they were practicing. Just how many people had ever
heard Illumi talks in the kind of tone that can get even the straightest man
ever walk on earth get shiver down his spine, and survive?

One.

Hisoka.

Illumi's
so-said friend.

That's
just... weird. His assassins-have-no-friend aniki has a... damn, but what is
Hisoka to Illumi? A friend, partner, employer, or...

Killua
feels a weird sense of possessiveness washes over him. No one has ever come
close enough to Illumi and managed to get into his heart. Not even him, Illumi's
own brother. So why Hisoka, of all people?

He
growls at the thought. He can't be thinking anything like that about Illumi!
Illumi can be killed for all he cares. But no. He just have to be -God forbids- possessive
over Illumi.

"I
don't care about him. "Killua says out loud. �I won't give a damn if
anything ever happen to him."
