~ Suguru’s Old Habits~

A month had passed by quickly, things in Suguru’s life seemed to go from bad to worse.

His grades in school were dropping because he would miss days.

Shuichi had asked him to start arranging a bunch of new songs for a concert three months away.

Hiro had noticed his lover was snapping at people more and getting into fights with other kids at school, he wanted to talk to Suguru but every time he brought up the subject of Suguru’s school life, the boy would say he was late for something and run out of the apartment they shared.

The guitarist didn’t know what to do anymore, he had talked to Touma Seguchi about Suguru but even the boy’s cousin didn’t know what to do about him.

Hiro had gotten into more than one argument with the teen about breaking their relationship off if he didn’t change. Though the fights always ended in Suguru walking out and heading to a bar to drink and Hiro crying on the couch.

Suguru sat at the bar he downed his drink and ordered another, he did love Hiro but he just had too much stress.
I’m sixteen years old and I have enough stress to kill someone.. Suguru thought as got up and paid for his drinks; the teen headed back to the apartment.

He remembered the last fight he had with Hiro had been a long one, while at the studio earlier that week the guitarist declined Suguru’s offer to go out for dinner to go over a new song.

Suguru had been hurt he decided to go back to the apartment and sit alone till Hiro to come home until he stopped in the hall and heard Shuichi invite his lover out for pizza and he had accepted.

The fighting had started the minute Hiro walked in the apartment door.

Again Suguru walked out and went to the bar and Hiro sat on the couch upset.

That had been a week ago, the keyboarder turned the key in the lock of the apartment door and pushed it open to see Hiro standing there waiting for him.

“ Hiro why are you waiting for me?” Suguru asked cooly.

The guitarist just stood quietly “ I’m not the only one waiting for you” he said keeping his head down, Touma walked around the corner in the hall and looked at his younger cousin

“ Hiro has been worried about you and so have I..Suguru I hate to do this but we’re sending you to a rehabilitation clinic, we’re bringing you there tomorrow morning.” Touma said softly standing there pushing his blonde bangs back uncovering his eyes.

The sadness in his eyes made Suguru look away. “ I don’t want your damn help, so just leave me the hell alone.” the teen yelled at the two men before turning around and going out the door.

Hiro kept his head down he felt Touma put his arms around him in a small hug.

“ We’ll keep trying, I promise” Touma remarked softly before leaving the apartment after his cousin.

Suguru was already walking down the sidewalk in a bad temper before going into the bar again and ordered two beers knowing that his cousin wasn’t far behind.

A few minutes later just like it was predicted the president of NG walked in the door and sat down next to his cousin and waved off the beer that Suguru held out for him.

“ Suguru I’m worried, please do this for me and Hiro. We both love you very much and we don’t want to lose you to this kind of lifestyle.” Touma said calmly as he watched Suguru down the beer in his hand.

The keyboarder just smirked “ well that would be easier said than done Touma....” Suguru said cooly as he finished the beer and picked up the one that his cousin waved off and began to drink it.

Touma grabbed the bottle and threw it to the floor smashing it to pieces

“ damn it Suguru stop doing this to yourself” Touma yelled.

The bar went quiet as Suguru stood up and punched his cousin in the face and stormed out of the bar before anyone could stop him he ran started to run across the street.

The last thing Suguru remembered was a bright light before his body was engulfed in pain.....
