Yuki: You sound like you’re advertising for one of those corny American television commercials.
Shuichi: Now that you mention it, she does sound like she’s trying to get a part on a Skittles commercial.

Yuki: Why don’t you make us?
Shuichi: Yeah! What kind of line is,” Taste the Rainbow?” Are you kidding me?
Animefreak20006: It’s a great line! Can you think of a better one?
Shuichi: Actually I could, but ticking you off is fun too.
Animefreak20006: Since you love pissing me off, I’m going to get someone even you can’t annoy (leaves and returns with Shuichi’s greatest fear).
Yuki: I’m outta here; I don’t trust K especially not with all those pistols.
K: And just where do you think you’re going?
Yuki: Uhh…Ahh…Duh…Nowhere.
K: I’ll personally see to that (cocks gun). No more of this nonsense; you will do as she commands and you will not sass her.

K: You heard the lady.
Yuki :( whispering) She’s hardly a lady.
Shuichi: (whispering) More like a bitch.
K: What was that?
Both: Nothing
K: What’s the disclaimer?
Both: Oh yeah; she does not own us. We belong to Maki Murakami. She only gets to toy with us.
At around 9:30 am, Yuki woke up and was shocked to see that Shindou was still asleep.
“Hm… the brat’s usually up by now. What’s going on?”
The novelist rubbed his eyes to make sure his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him. He took a closer look at the boy resting on him and noticed that his face was contorted in pain. He thought Shuichi was having a nightmare so; he shook him desperately trying to assist him in escaping whatever hell hole he had dreamt himself into.
“Brat are you okay?” “For some strange reason I’m having terrible cramps and I have to-,” (Shuichi fled to the bathroom).
It wasn’t too difficult for Eiri to figure out the last part because he heard the pop star hurling.
“Here Shuichi, this will cure your nausea; I’ll be back with something that will fix those cramps.”
(He goes to retrieve the phone)
“Hello, Eiri, do you need something?”
“Obviously Tohma or I wouldn’t be calling.”
“What can I do for you?”
“Nothing at this particular moment; I need to speak to Mika.”
“Whatever you can tell Mika, you can certainly tell me. After all, we’re brothers aren’t we?”
“Tohma just put Mika on the phone. I don’t have the patience to listen to your gibberish this morning!”
“Mika, telephone!”
“Who is it?”
“Eiri wishes to speak with you.”
“Eiri what’s wrong?”
“Nothing but, I was wondering if you had any Midol.”
“Of course I do but, what do you need it for?”
“Shuichi has a bad case of cramps and that was the first medicine that came to mind that might be able to treat them. I’m certain that you can attest to the fact that it works right?”
“You’re right; I’ll be over in a few minutes. I the meantime you should make certain Shuichi is laying down on something comfortable. One last thing, don’t put him on his stomach because that will make matters worse.” “Alright; please get here as soon as possible.”
The novelist put the cordless back on the charger and put him back in the bed. Right after he had Shindou settled in, there came a knock at the door.
“Who is it?” “It’s me Eiri.”
He unlocked the door and let her in.
“Here’s the Midol. How is he?”
“Thanks; and he’s fine right now.”
“Do you mind if I go take a look at him?”
“No go right ahead.”
“Shuichi I need you to sit up for a minute. Can you do that for me brat?”
“Uhh…Can I sit up against you?”
“Sure, if it’ll help,” Eiri replied as he joined Shuichi on the bed and propped the pop star against him.
“Mika can you please fetch me a glass of water?” “Sure.”
A few moments later, she returned with said item in hand.
“I need you to take this and drink the water.”
“Okay, Shuichi moaned as he took the medicine.
“Hmm…poor thing; I hope it’s nothing serious.”
“Mika please call Doctor Andrew for me. I’d do it myself but, I don’t want to move him because he’s so comfortable.”
“Okay.”
Before she could dial the number, the phone rang.
“Hey Mika is Shindou there?”
“Yes, but, he’s not well.”
“Is it that he’s being consumed by pressure or is it that he’s in fact feeling under the weather?”
“I wish he was feigning his illness but sadly he’s not.”
“What ails him?”
“He’s suffering from cramps and nausea.”
“Send him my regards.”
“I will be sure to do that.”
“So Hiro did you discover why he’s absent and extremely tardy?”
“Well apparently K, Shuichi’s genuinely sick.”
“What’s the problem?”
“He has come down with a flu (he doesn’t want K or the others to freak out that’s why he refers to it as flu).
“Let me know when he’s well enough to sing again.”
“Mika who was that calling?” “Shuichi’s band mate, Hiro.”
After answering Eiri she called the doctor.
“Hello and welcome to Blue Trinity United Hospital. My name is Tiffany. How can I be of service?”
“Hello my name is Mika Seguchi and I must speak with Doctor Andrew. Please inform him that it’s urgent.”
“Hold on for one moment please. Paging Dr. Andrew; you have a pressing call on line 4.”
“Hello Doctor Andrew speaking, who might I inquire is calling?”
“This is Mika, Eiri’s sister, I’m calling because Shuichi is feeling unwell and Eiri also informed me that along with the vomiting he called you about yesterday; Shuichi is cramping and has developed a bizarre appetite. Right now he’s unable to come to the phone so he told me to call.”
“Hold on for one minute. Tiffany I need you to reschedule all my other appointments.”
“Yes sir.”
“The only people who I will be attending to today are: Eiri Yuki and Shuichi Shindou.”
“Okay boss.”
“Mika are you still there?”
“Yes.” “Mika please instruct Eiri to bring Shuichi to my office immediately. Also, I have informed the receptionist, Tiffany, to allow only Eiri and Shuichi to enter the premises.”
“Okay I’ll let them know.”
Mika hung up the phone and went to let Eiri know what the doctor prescribed.
“Eiri you and Shuichi need to report to his office without delay; don’t worry he’s already made your reservation. He even canceled his other client to ensure that he would be able to see you today.”
“Mika can I ask one more favor of you?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“I need you to start the car because you’ll be driving us to the hospital.”
“Where are the car keys?”
“On the counter.”
“Got ‘em.”
“Shuichi we’re going to the doctors’ so please wake up.”
“Mmm…Carry me please.”
“Whatever you say,” the novelist replied as he hoisted up his lover and carried his lover (bridal-style) out of the house. “Mika we’re ready to go.”
“Finally.”
“Oh shut up and just drive the damn car!”
About 30 minutes later they arrived at the hospital.
“Hello, I’m Eiri Yuki and he (motions to Shuichi) is Shuichi Shindou. We were told to speak to Tiffany about an appointment today.”
“I am she; I will inform him of your arrival.”
“Thank you.”
He said that you may enter.”
With that Eiri and Shuichi entered his office.
“From the symptoms that he’s been exhibiting, I think I might know what’s going on. However, I must perform 3 tests on him in order to see if my presumption is correct. The first test I will administer is an x-ray followed by a physical; and last but not least a pregnancy exam."
"A pregnancy test? He's a male! It's impossible!" "While I agree with you, I feel it's necessary to apprise you that he's demonstrating certain signs of pregnancy. Since the x-ray and pregnancy tests are the quickest, I suggest getting those out of the way first."
After the first two tests were completed, the doctor gave Shuichi a physical and while doing so he found something that gave him the chills. He debated on how he was going to tell them the news. He felt it would be best not to mince words.
"Gentlemen I have the results." "Well? What's his situation?" "There's no easy way to say this so I'm not going to waste any more time. Shuichi is enceinte."
"Are you shittin' me?"
"If only I were. I had my doubts like you did when the x-rays showed no traces of another being. However the other two tests have proven that this is the case. The pregnancy test was positive and when I gave him a physical I noticed the areolas (skin around the nipples) were darker than normal. Also, his breasts were very swollen and tender. Now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense."
"I have another question for you. Why does he have the ability to become pregnant?"
"Very good question. It's actually quite simple. Shuichi is a hermaphrodite. He could get someone else pregnant or become with child and conceive."
"Wait a minute; you're saying that I'm going to have a baby?"
"Exactly my boy."
"Excuse me while I step out."
"Shuichi, damn he fainted.”
“I expected nothing less."
"How could you possibly anticipate---, oh never mind. How will he have the child?"
"Another excellent question. When the time comes the child will be removed via C-section because I don't believe he could withstand the pain of a normal birth."
"Are there any special treatments I should be aware of?"
"I would advise him not to engage in any strenuous activities and to limit the dancing to a minimal (he's a huge Bad Luck fan).
”Thanks Andrew, I will be sure to follow your instructions," Eiri replied as he picked up his comatose lover and headed towards the car. "We're going to be parents. What an adventure this will be.
