Route-- Swarm?!
Out of nowhere the rain started up again for the Johto Region, quickly 'causing Angel to change out of her skirt, sandals, and t-shirt into.. .The same shirt, loose jeans and shoes. Socks too, of course. Shadow just tossed a coat on and let Cyndaquil and Magby sit on his shoulders, while Totodile and Pichu go beside Angel, while Angel locks arms with Shadow
"Shadow, why did we have to start today?" Angel whined.
"How was I supposed to know it'd rain?" Shadow defended.
"Uhm... Weather reports?" She said.
"They didn't say it'd rain!" He said, annoyed.
"Well, they are bad weathermen..." She officially lost this argument.
"Damn straight... They... Are...?"
Suddenly they heard what SOUNDED like chirping. They looked up, only to find a flock of Swellow & Taillow comnig for them.
"Angel?" "Yeah?" "Run!" With that, they both bolted towards Cherrygrove as fast as possible, but they were to slow. They had all the bird Pokemon pecking at them within minutes, one that stuck out like a sore theumb though was staying away.
"Pichu, Thundershock!" Shadow yelled as the mouse Pokemon shot all the birds with Thundershock, sending them all away, except to oddly colored one, which walked up to Angel, squawking.
"Shadow, help me!" She screamed.
"Er.. Go away, shoo!"
"No, you idiot! Help me catch it!"
"Catch it? Why would you want a Taillow? You've got two Pokemon and there're better Bird Pokemon out there." He said with a puzzling look on his face, yet so cute it'd make even a bodyguard blush.
"Uhm... Because it's Shiny?" She groaned in annoyance.
"Oh, heh. Holy fuck it is." He blushed from embarassment.
"That's why I wanna catch it."
"Okay, makes sence. Wanna use my Pichu?" He asked.
"Nah. Totodile can do it. He get's a power boost from the rain!"
"Damn, Angel, you really did study."
"And you thought I spent all that time touching myself."
"Well, you usually do. Especially when I let you watch my shower." He snickered, and stepped back.
"Because you're a hottie, babe!" She giggled and stood there with Totodile.
"Well, thanks. But, uh, you should battle Taillow before it runs away."
"Right, Duh, She said, smirking. "Okay, Totodile, Ice Beam!"
On command, Totodile lept u and fired a beam of Ice at the Taillow, but the Speedy Pokemon dodged and hit Totodile with an Aerial Ace.
"Totodile, are you okay?"
"Totoda!" The Pokemon jumped up and down, raring to go.
"Totodile, use Water Pulse, and then freeze them with Ice Beam as they hit!"
Totodile did just as he was told, firing 7 rings of Water Pulse, and freezing them before impact. 1.. 2.. 3.. Missed.. 4.. 5.. 6..! 6 out of 7 hit, and Taillow was hurting.
"Okay, GO, POKEBALL!" Angel yelled, throwing the bell and hitting the bird in the head, sucking it in

"So... Did I catch it?" She asked with a curious look, making Shadow fall over laughing.
"Is it out?"
"No."
"Is the ball moving?"
"No..."
"Did the ball ding and flash red?"
"Yes....."
"Then yeah, you caught it."
"YAY!!!!" She screamed, hugging Shadow and grabbing the ball, putting it with the other two.
"Someone's excited." He said with a Smirk.
"I own a Shiny Pokemon. Why wouldn't I be?"
"Good point. C'mon. Not far from Cherrygrove now." He said, taking her hand.
"Lead on, my prince." She giggles as they continued walking, but little did they know, there were two bitter enemies lurking about...

Preview for Chapter 4: Finally reaching Cherrygrove, and getting a tour, they decide to rent a room at the Center and stay the night, but little do they know, their bedtime is gonna be delayed.
