“Oh cr---sorry,” he said as Luluko turn to spit into the toilet bowl. “I should have--”
“I-it’s all right,” Luluko stammered as she tried to wipe her mouth in a ladylike manner and failed.
Suzaku fumbled for his handkerchief and belatedly realised that he did not carry one. Luluko had one and there was a brief but awkward moment when they both tried to clean themselves up discretely.
He missed the look on her face--like a cat that had been at the cream--as they straightened their uniforms out.
“Um, we should be getting back,” Luluko said into the strained silence. “Milly’ll get suspicious.”
“R-right--you’re right,” Suzaku replied. “I--I would like to make it up to you . . for today, I mean.”
“Maybe I’ll let you,” she said, letting herself out of the stall. “How good are you?”
It was a while before he could emerge from the washroom without looking like a ripening tomato.
“Channel secured.”
“C.C.--proceed as planned. I may have bought us a little more time.”
“He doesn’t suspect then? Oh, so you did se--”
“Mind your own business!”
“So you did use the finger trick--I was wondering why you asked about how to--”
Connection terminated.

Devious or not. Evil or not. I just love Luluko to bits. (If CG had started out with the female version of Lelouch, she would be the best female character ever. Sadly, 99% of female characters in anime don’t get to do stuff like that.)
