(A Few Days Later In Roger’s Office)

“Matt we brought you here because we are worried about you.” Roger stated.
Matt looked around the office. Roger was sitting behind his large desk, Ann the general surrogate mother to the Wammy’s children and House keeper, And Madeline the houses live in nurse stood to his left and Watari to his right.
“Worried about me why, Have my grades dropped again.” Matt feigned innocence.
Ann cut in first “No Matt we mean the bruises and limping.”
Matt went wide eyed...before trying to hide it. “I’m fine i don’t know what you mean.”
Watari spoke up next “Matt don’t lie, bruises like these don’t appear from no where.”
Matt began looking around the room panicked.
Lowering his voice “I won’t make you tell us if you agree to be checked over by Madeline.”
Matt glanced from Watari to the rest before mumbling to Watari. “Just you and Madeline.”
Watari struggled to hear what was said, “If that is what you want.” Watari said standing.
“Madeline prepare the infirmary i’ll bring Matt along, Ann please do not worry but Matt has requested only myself know the out come.”
Roger sighed before speaking up “what about me?”
“Depends on what is said and the out-come of the medical checkup, If Matt has things under control then there is no need for you to know.” Watari said “Come along Matt.”
Matt got up staying close to Watari.
‘What the hell do i do now’ Matt thought following Watari to the infirmary.
When Matt entered the infirmary he noticed that it was only him, Watari and Madeline. There was no other children in there for once.
“We’ll check the basics first Matt, Height, Weight, Blood pressure...E.T.C.” Madeline said
Matt looked to Madeline then Watari. “It’s fine Matt, I’ll be staying in with you.” Nodding and moving to the scales stepping on them, Madeline sighed and wrote the results down, and moved over to the wall with the Height indicator on.
Matt stepped under it, after writing the results down she spoke up “Now for you Blood Pressure please take a seat.”
Pulling at his sleeve Matt sat down. “Matt we need your sleeves rolled up.”
Shaking his head Matt held his sleeves even tighter.
Standing next to Matt, Watari placed his hand on Matt’s shoulder. “Matt we’ll see soon enough, We agreed to a full check-up.”
Matt sighed and pulled up his sleeve, Madeline gasped at the bruises round his wrists and upper arm, She placed the cuff on his arm.
Madeline started the machine and wrote some things down as the machine beeper she wrote down his Blood Pressure monitor.
“We need to do the medical now, please remove your shirt and pants and hop onto the bed just there.”
Matt whimpered and shook his head, “I don’t want to.”
“Sorry but you did promise Matt.” Watari said calmly standing behind Matt.
“Can’t you do it you’ve had medical training” Matt whispered looking up to Watari “Please.” Matt grasped at Watari’s sleeve.
Watari sighed and looked to Madeline, “If you don’t mind Watari, I just want him to be ok.” Madeline said smiling slightly, Watari nodded and Madeline stood and walked out of the infirmary.
Once she had closed the door Matt stood and walked behind the small curtain and stripped.
‘I can do this i can do this’ Matt kept thinking to himself as he sat on the bed calling out. “I’m ready Watari.”
Watari opened the curtain and gasped “Oh Mail what have you been up to.”
Matt’s chest and neck were littered in bruises and bite marks, And scratches littered his back and chest in places it had drawn blood.
Matt looked to the floor. “I wanted this, I asked for it and i won’t stop.”
Watari sighed and stepped closer to Matt to look at the uncovered bruises. ‘These marks on his wrists are from been restrained and held down, Love bites covering his neck and chest, Scratches from finger nails some still healing, Visible bruises on his hips from been held tightly, and noticeable weight loss.’ He thought before looking to Matt. “You’re in a homosexual relationship.” He asked
Matt nodded “It’s all willing i asked for it.”
“Who is it.” Watari asked, Matt shook his head to scared to say.
“So it’s Mihael.” Matt looked up wide eyed at Watari, “Mail do you know what you’re doing.”
Nodding his head “Please don’t tell anyone you promised Watari.”
“As long as you promise to come to me if it ever goes to far.” Watari said seriously.
Nodding his head Matt started to dressed “Can i go now please.”
“Of course Mail, Please be careful.” Watari sighed deeply.
“I will i promise.” Matt smiled at Watari “And thank you for caring” Matt added Hopping up and dressing before walking to the door looking up and down the corridor before going upstairs heading to his room.
Matt jumped slightly when Near suddenly came up in front of him. “Afternoon Matt-kun, Can we talk.” Near said quietly.
“Oh hi...Yes sure, Lets go to your room or the library” Matt said.
Near nodded and walked down the corridor before entering his bedroom, Waiting for Matt to enter.
“So what did you want to talk about.” Matt said entering the room.
“What is going on between you and Mello-kun.” Near stated in his usual tone.
“What...What do you mean.” Matt stuttered out.
“Matt-kun’s room is next to Nears, I Heard everything that has been happening.” Near said pausing for minute before continuing “Near wonders why such a relationship is needed.”
“Near everyone wants a companion.” Matt looked at Nears confused face. “Near don’t you ever want to be held, to be loved.” Near thinks before shaking his head.
“Well me and Mello... It’s just we care about each other and to show that we do what we do.”
Near nods his head “So it’s essential.”
“Yes and can you not mention this to anyone.”
“Near will not say a word to anyone, Thank you for answering my queries.” Near said crouching down fixing a puzzle.
Matt realized he was been dismissed, he turned and walked out of the room going to his room and collapsing on the bed. Closing his eyes thinking to himself.
