A/N:
Well, this one finally has some antagnoists show up. I try to follow the X-men movies as much as possible with this in the details, but, with one character, I did not have much to go on, so I used details from the Comics to suppliment the story.
Oh, before I get attacked got Soun Tendo smoking, watch the episode with the food delivery race. I believe thats the one when Soun is smoking. Marlboro reds if I remember correctly.
Enjoy the Chapter!

3:
Opening Battle
This time, it was three Americans walking down the street. Ororo and Logan were now joined by Emma Frost, who had been scouting around the town and communicating with the rest of the Team back at home. It had been hoped that she might be able to locate the third mutant while the other two were visiting Furinkan High. So far, they have had no such luck. They remained hopeful though, because telepaths can generally tell when others like them are around. At least, that’s what they were gambling on.
They rounded the corner and came to the Tendo residence. It was a modest place, with a nice yard behind a privacy wall. A small pond added to a feel of tranquility as well. There was something else about the place that neither Wolverine nor Storm could put their fingers on. Whatever it is, they all felt a sense of peace come over them. It was Emma who figured it out for them. “I think we have found where the third mutant lives,” she said.
“That would be a relief,” said Logan. For once, he was not smoking one of his cigars, much to the relief of the two women walking with him. That was Emma’s doing. She had to promise him a bottle of the finest Saki to get him to agree, but it was well worth it.
They got to the door and rang the bell. It took but a moment for the door to be answered buy a pretty woman with a very welcoming demeanor to her. “Hello, my name is Kasumi Tendo, won’t you come in?” she said. The three felt as if they were already amongst friends just by being around her. They took off their shoes and followed her inside to where the others were gathered. “Please sit and make yourself comfortable. I was just about to serve dinner. Would you like some tea?” she asked.
“Yes, thank you,” says the white haired woman. She looks around the table and takes in the scene. The two men, Genma Saotome and Soun Tendo do not look the most pleased to have them here as guests this evening. Soun is a tallish man with Black hair that comes down just below the shoulders. He appears about forty or so and has a look of mild distrust on his face. Genma appears to be about the same height, but stockier in built. Behind the wire rimmed glasses his eyes convey a look that has even less trust in them than his friend.
“So, why don’t you tell us why it is that you are here,” says Mr. Tendo, breaking the chilly ice. “And why is it that I get a call this morning from the school that some strangers from America are asking about my son-in-law?” This was not a request, but more of a demand. “It seems that when you called this afternoon to set up an appointment, you neglected certain details. Why is that?”
As spokesperson for the three, Ororo was prepared for this. “Mr. Tendo, due to the nature of why it is we are here, we felt it best if we discussed this matter in person. We…”
“You suspect Ranma of being a mutant. Why is that?” Seeing the somewhat surprised look on the faces of his visitors, Soun continues, “I mentioned that I got a call this morning. That call was from Principal Kuno. He may seem to be a fool, but he is anything but. And he figured it was in the best interests of Ranma that I know about this visit today, and the reason for the visit. He knows a lot more than you realize. Now, tell us about the school that you run.”
This time, it was Logan who spoke up. “Mr. Tendo, I am sure that you are aware how mutants are looked upon in America. If you take that into consideration, I am sure that you can understand our reasons for being circumspect.” He gets a nod from Soun, and continues, “What our school is for is a place where young mutants can learn in a safe environment to be able to better control their abilities. If it turns out that Ranma is, in fact, a mutant, then Xavier’s School may be something that he could benefit from.”
Both Emma and Storm are surprised at how well Logan as handled this. Normally rather combative and sarcastic, he actually came across polite and businesslike. Maybe there is hope for him yet the two women thought.
It was now Genma’s turn to speak up. “So, why is it that you suspect my son to be a mutant?” he asks of them. He’s still not sure what to think of this, other than the fact that he does not like it. Although he has nothing against mutants, if Ranma were to go away to school in America, any plans to unite the schools would be most likely put on hold. This was not something that he looked forward to. Although his son had been promised to many girls in the past, he hadn’t had any intentions of honoring any of the engagements except this one. Now this threatened to destroy those plans.
Before Storm could reply, the visit was interrupted by a joyous, “OH! WHAT A HAUL! WHAT A HAUL!” that came from a little man in purple wearing a mask and carrying an overflowing sack filled with panties. Bounding between Emma and Logan, he jumps the table, gropes Akane’s ass on the way through, and bumps into Kasumi who was just bringing in a pitcher of iced tea. The tea went flying, landing on Genma’s head, Akane screeched bloody murder and went on the attack. Nabiki rolled her eyes. And Soun developed a nervous tic.
Plucking a silky thong from the top of his head, Wolverine took one look at Genma, whom now had become a panda, and said, “The fact that you’re a panda would be our first clue.”
They could hear Happosai’s gleeful chortling down the hall as Akane chased after him with a rather large mallet. “I’m gonna CUT YOUR FRIGGIN BALLS OFF! YOU FREAK!!” she yelled after him. There was a tremendous crash, followed by more sounds of destruction as she chased the dirty old panty thief around the house. With every sound of something breaking, another sweat drop appeared on Soun’s head. Spying Logan’s shirt pocket, he asks, “Excuse me, but would those by any chance be Marlboros in your pocket?”
“Camels. You want one?”

“So, you are telling me that my son, and his friend Ryoga, are both mutants?” asks Genma, now back in human form. Many thoughts are currently going through his mind. Right now, he is feeling conflicted. He wants Ranma to stay here in Japan to marry Akane, ensuring the future of the School of Anything Goes Martial Arts. Then again, he imagines all the fun he could have in the U.S., especially if he was able to get himself secured free room and board at the school. “And you’re also telling me that it would be in Ranma’s best interest to enroll in your school in America to train?”
“Not just Ranma and Ryoga, but there is a third person as well,” Says Ororo. When she receives puzzled looks from all around, except from Mr. Saotome, who gets a hopeful gleam in his eye, she continues, “There is a third person as well. A young woman who appears to be a latent telepath.”
“And whom may that be, if I may inquire?” asks a curious Kasumi.
Emma looks her in the eye, saying, “That lady would be you, Miss Tendo.”
The eyes of her two sisters, her father, and Genma all land on her. This is a bit much for them to take in, especially since she has never shown anything out of the ordinary. Even Happosai, bandaged up with a black eye, has a look of surprise on his face, though he tries to hide it by packing his pipe. Kasumi herself has a look of puzzlement on her face, wondering just why they would think of her having some sort of powers. Nabiki finally breaks the silence by asking, “Just what is a telepath?”
Storm answers, “A telepath is someone who can sense and read thoughts. Some can even project their thoughts into the minds of others. The founder of our school, Professor Xavier, was a very powerful telepath.”
“Also, I have reason to believe that you are also what is known as an empath, Kasumi,” adds Emma. “When we arrived here at your residence, we all felt a sense of peace and tranquility that seemed to envelop us. It appears that it is coming from you. The offer that we would like to make of enrollment in our school extends to you as well.”
“Well, I would think that further discussion of this matter should wait until Ranma and Ryoga arrive,” says Soun, stubbing out the cigarette he had been smoking. This was something he only did under heavy stress. Today had proven to be one of those days.
It was at that moment when they heard the sound of motorcycles pulling into the yard. Two of them specifically. Ranma and Ryoga had arrived. They were wondering why they were asked to head home so quickly, and who is it that wanted to see the both of them. It sure had been an interesting day for them, with the strangers from America in the class, then having to explain to their friends all about Jusenkyo and the curse that the two of them were under. Now they had visitors that wanted to meet with them. They gave each other a puzzled look as they parked their bikes and headed inside.
What they found out was the last thing that they were expecting.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The man was big. Very big in fact. If it was just size alone that distinguished him, most people would still be highly intimidated. When you looked into his face though, that’s when you got the real scare. It wasn’t cold. Not by a long shot. It was more like an animal straining on its leash with blood in its eyes wanting to taste yours. People tended to get out of his way in a hurry. That suited him just fine. Right now, his eyes were hidden behind a pair of binoculars. They were focused on the Tendo home at the moment.
On one side of him was a young man, still a teen really. He was flicking a Zippo lighter open and closed. Every now and then, he would light it and send a small ball of flame off into the distance. He still doesn’t have full use of one of his hands after Bobby had frozen them in the last battle they had against the X-Men. Bobby was gonna fry for that… literally. It’s hard to believe that the two of them used to be best friends when they were younger. Now, all John Allerdyce feels is a bitter need for revenge. Revenge against the X-Men and Bobby Drake in particular. He sends another fireball off into the sky.
“You know Pyro, one of these days, your gonna burn down half a city doin shit like that,” says Multiple Man, off to the other side of the leader of the three. His neat little trick is that he can produce many copies of himself. This can prove to be very useful in a fight actually. It was him that was instrumental in getting most of the surviving Brotherhood members out of prison.
“Listen up you two, we’re movin in,” orders Sabertooth as he sets the binoculars down. As the current leader of the Brotherhood, now that Magneto is powerless, he has been plotting revenge on the X-Men and recruiting mutants again for the ongoing war. That’s why they were in Nerima today. They were hoping to recruit a few mutants that they had heard about. From what he had been able to gather from numerous sources, the two mutants at the house were potentially quite powerful. Powerful enough to warrant a trip to Japan. Unfortunately, it looks like Logan and his buddies have made it first. Oh well, if the two die when he kills Logan, then it’s no great loss. “You, Madrox,” pointing to Multiple Man, “make sure to attack with as many clones as possible when going after the blonde bitch. Those stun guns are the only thing that can hurt her when she is in diamond form. Send more clones after Storm as well. Pyro, you need to attack Storm full force. Once those two are out of the way, you’re free to deal with any others as you see fit. Only one thing. Wolverine is all mine.”
With those orders, they set out to attack the household.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Inside the house, everyone is just sitting down to a nice supper Kasumi had ordered from the Neko Hanten. It had been a hassle getting rid of Shampoo, but it was worth it so that she wouldn’t have to cook and miss out on this meeting. There were so many things that she wanted to ask, but refrained from doing so out of politeness. Besides, she was sure that all of her questions would be answered before the night was over.
Miss Frost was just starting on her dinner when her mind sensed people approaching. She sensed also that their intentions were not good at all. “Logan, Ororo, it appears that we’ve got company arriving very quickly. I sense three of them, and it feels like trouble,” she said quickly.
Storm quickly got up, saying, “Mr. Tendo, Mr. Saotome, you had better get your families out of here. Emma, from where are they coming from?”
Her question was answered when the sliding door to the yard burst inwards, shattered on a ball of flame. One large fragment hit Akane in the back of her head knocking her out cold. The other Tendo sisters dove for cover as Soun, Genma, Ranma, Ryoga and Happosai all stood up behind the X-Men. This was their home, and no one was going to chase them from it.
“Who are you people, and why do you invade our home this way?” Soun demanded of the newcomers.
With a metallic snick as three razor sharp claws extend from each of his hands, Wolverine answers, “The Brotherhood.”
Emma frost immediately transforms into her diamond form, only to be just as quickly set upon by a half dozen men, she manages to fend off four of them psionically before two of them get through and repeatedly strike at her with powerful stun guns. She goes down unconscious from the massive hits of electricity. At the same time, another half dozen men, all identical to the ones who took out Emma Frost attack Ororo from behind a fireball from Pyro. In the midst of all this comes a charging berserker named Sabertooth. Wolverine meets him headlong with a bellow of rage. Into this mess charges The Tendo men, Ryoga and Ranma as Happosai quickly pulls Akane’s unconscious form out of the half destroyed room. More copies of Multiple Man pour into the room. Storm engages them with high winds, blistering cold and lightning. She is countered by Pyro who launches an intense jet of flame towards her, trying to punch through. Ranma and Ryoga dive in, fists flying taking on any opponent that they can engage. Genma and Soun try to get around to flank Pyro, but are blocked by several men. Through all of this, Wolverine and Sabertooth are slashing away at each other like two grizzly bears battling to the death.
Happosai now jumps into the fray yelling “HAPPO FIRE BURST!” as he tosses several of his smaller homemade bombs at various opponents, with mixed results. One of detonates under Ryoga, sending him flying off into the yard, where he’s attacked by several copies of Madrox. Several more copies attack Happosai as well, and the old man launches into him with everything that he has.
No one pays any heed to the one man who sneaks in past the fighting to find Nabiki and Kasumi huddled in a corner terrified. This is not a copy. This is the real Multiple Man, and he has decided he is going to have a little fun. Pulling a pair of stun guns from his jacket, he advances on them with an evil grin, pressing the button on one of the stun guns to display what is in store for them. While the others battle it out, he’ll just take these two out the back for some extra-curricular activities.
Kasumi watches him advance towards her and her sister. She is paralyzed in fear, whispering, “Please… Don’t do this…” over and over again. When Madrox stuns Nabiki, she crumples, twitching from the massive dose of voltage that she received. “No. No. No…” continues Kasumi in terror as she tries to huddle deeper into the corner.
“Your turn bitch,” is all Madrox says as he moves in to stun her.
Kasumi lets out a scream born of pure fright. This scream is not just vocal. It’s accompanied by a telepathic scream that bursts forth with the power of a grenade, stunning everyone around her. Multiple Man half falls in pain from the psionic assault. At this moment, Kasumi grabs the nearest object that she can find. It’s Akane’s mallet. The very same one that she usually uses on Ranma. With strength brought on by panic, she swings with all her might. There is a sickening crunch of bone as the mallet connects with Madrox’s left temple. He collapses to the floor with the side of his head crushed inward, goes into a short Grand Mal seizure, and then stops.
When the mallet connected, a blinding pain thudded through the side of Kasumi’s head. She felt a sickening feeling of falling as disjointed thoughts and emotions flooded into her. Then the feeling turned into terror, then a coldness followed by a blind numbness that faded into oblivion. Kasumi fell to her knees, vomited, and then fell unconscious to the floor.
When Multiple Man died, all of his copies disappeared. The combatants quickly recovered, and Sabertooth and Pyro both quickly decided that, for them at least, the battle was lost. They quickly beat a hasty retreat, with Allerdyce blasting a wall of flame between him and Sabertooth, and their opponents. Ororo quickly put the flames out as the others recovered. Soun looked around to find his two older daughters lying on the floor.
“Kasumi! Nabiki! NO!” he cried out as he rushed over to where they lay.
