Later on that night, everyone except Yahiko and Kenji were in the main dining room drinking sake and celebrating the party. “Great…we are going to be seeing drunks…” Yahiko whispered to Kenji. “Huh?” Kenji was a bit clueless. “Okay, if she is such a seductress why hasn’t Ceru tried anything with me?” Sanosuke questioned Kenshin. Of course, Sanosuke was drunk. He hiccupped through the majority of his slurred sentences. “Miss Ceru is not like that Sano so be polite and stop drinking.” Kenshin shook his head as he took a sip of his sake. “I will see if she will get angry by the fact that I am hitting on him.” Megumi giggled as she gave Hiko a sexual smirk. Megumi was tipsy so she tried to make a few passes at Hiko.

Ceru was the only female that was not drinking. ‘What the hell am I doing here? I don’t know any of these people well and they all treat me with kindness…but why am I here? Shouldn’t I be dead by now? Something is off and I feel like I’m the outcast.’ Ceru thought while Hiko only had his attention on her. Kaoru was slightly buzzed as she laid her head against Kenshin’s shoulder. The only one who was drinking hard as hell and still had a straight face was Hiko. “Come on! Ceru-tell us how old you are!” Sanosuke busted out yelling nonsense and fell backwards. He had been drinking for a while now.

“I’m-” Ceru was about to speak but Hiko had leaned over to her side. His dark eyes were giving her a glare that meant he was not about to let her leave this house. “Damn it! Stop…Ugh!” Sanosuke was close to cracking as he took a swipe of another bottle. Kaoru turned to Yahiko and Kenji. “I apologize for you having to see this son.” She said waving one hand. She seemed tired. “I hope they know that they all can die from alcohol poisoning. Sheesh…” Yahiko rolled his eyes. Kenji turned to Ceru who was clueless about the whole thing. ‘She’s not doing anything…not even taking a simple sip of that mess. She’s a different woman.’ he thought as he watched her.

“Come now Master…you must be worn out from your duties as a pottery maker.” Megumi pleaded as she ran a finger over Hiko’s bare chest. Ceru did not pay attention and Kenshin was embarrassed. “Ceru…! Tell me your age!” Sanosuke ordered once more. Ceru was getting uncomfortable and she felt like she needed to get out of here. “…I…I…” She breathed as she felt as if she was about to cry. Hiko noticed Ceru’s nervousness and stood up. “…Let’s go Ceru.” Hiko said as he held out his hand to her. Ceru silently stared at the tall man and nodded. She took his hand and stood up. Her body was shivering and her balance was off.

She stumbled but Hiko caught her. “I’ll take you to bed.” He suggested. Ceru’s face hit his chest lightly and she nodded embarrassed. The two left the room quietly. “Shit!” Megumi snapped her fingers. “She’s not a seductress then…” She frowned. “I TOLD YOU! Why didn’t you listen to me in the beginning?!” Kenshin shouted in drunk anger. “Crap, I hope I didn’t scare the woman. She looked like she had taken a picture from the camera.” Sanosuke sat up worried. “You still are afraid of having your picture taken?” Kaoru questioned as she was now irritated.

“Hey! Those damn cameras are the devil’s work! They can take a year out of you man!” Sanosuke was freaking out. Yahiko shrugged and Kenji was laughing. Stumbling over still, Ceru had kept her grip on Hiko’s arm. Her body felt light and she was not even drunk. She had none of the sake at all and she planned on not drinking any time soon. “Are you alright?” Hiko questioned the woman as they had actually entered his room. “Yes…I’m fine.” Ceru was flustered. “I apologize if they scared you. They all are wasted.” Hiko was now serious. Ceru nodded and hid her face in his arm. ‘He’s warm…’ She blushed at that thought. “Ceru.” Hiko called her name and Ceru looked up at him. He suddenly placed his lips against her gently having his tongue play with hers.

“…” Ceru’s eyes halfway shut and before she realized that she was kissing him-her face heated up even more. Releasing the girl. Hiko had slid the door shut behind him and set up a little lantern. The room had light and it was dim. “This is…isn’t my room.” Ceru noticed. “No, I took you to my room.” Hiko had moved closer to Ceru as if he was going to devour her. “Do that again…” Hiko rasped as he kissed the woman once more. Ceru’s small cry went from being softer to a gentle moan before Hiko moved his lips to her neck. “I-I’m still a virgin Hiko!
