I will be doing this with every chapter I think~

Chapter 3 – Secrets

~Riku (Zero)~

Riku sat on the pure white sheets with red decoration on them watching Zero rub his cheek into the silk cushion underneath his head.

A smile graced his lips as he touched Zeros bare arm, his fingers dancing it's way up to his neck then smoothly gliding it's way up to his lips, his thumb running over Zeros bottom lip while his other fingers rested underneath his chin, he moved carefully so that he didn't wake the sleeping boy.

Riku had pretended when he saw Zero in the forest that he didn't know who he was. The little child he knew, the pure soul that had so much energy, it wasn't there anymore.

Now before him was a teenager with no true memory of his past, a heart filled with anger and grief. Riku hated himself for being one of them that had been helping in making the spell to seal away Zeros memories and even changing them... making Zero suffer as a level-D vampire. But he knew it had to be done.

His green eyes hovered over the slim and graceful body hiding underneath a layer of silk fabric, but then looked up at Zeros forehead where faint violet lines in form of a crescent moon could be seen. Riku removed his hand from Zeros face and clenched both of them into fists.

“I'm sorry for everything Zero... that I couldn't protect you” He whispered sadly while looking down at Zero sleeping face, he kissed him gently on the cheek before standing up, leaving the boy in total darkness to rest.

When the door was shut Zero started to sweat and turn in the bed, the presence of the other man had made him calm and feeling safe but now that he had left the room a dark hidden memory thread forward and Zero started panting.

~Flashback~

He was trapped, no where to go. No where to run away from the flames surrounding them both.

He was sitting on the wooden floor holding his unconscious brothers body close to his chest, it was becoming hard to breath. His voice was horse after screaming for help, he didn't know what to do, he felt so helpless.

They had been told to run to the east side of the castle not realizing that they where running right into a burning trap of flames.

The castles roof had started to break a part and some of it had hit Ichiru on the head.

Zero had tried to lift his brother but it was to hard as his small body couldn't do the task and in the end they were surrounded by high flames.

He swallowed hard, his throat was dry and his temperature was rising as the fire where coming closer to them. Zero closed his eyes his thoughts wildly streaming around in his head.

Hadn't someone heard his desperate screams for help? Didn't his mom or dad feel that something was wrong?

Zero's arms tightened and he noticed Ichiru were breathing way to fast.

“They where going to die here... burning to death alive”

“Zero?” A dark voice called out. He opened his eyes and deep maroon eyes stared hungrily at him.

“R-Rido? Help me! Ichiru is unconscious we need t-” A dark laughed irrupted that made him stop talking, Rido was laughing and a evil smile graced his lips as he stepped through the flames, coming closer to the two boys, he stopped just one meter away from them.

“Rido?” Zero whispered out confusion written all over his face.

Rido licked his lips the smile had vanished.

“You are just to innocent for your own good Zero my dear” he huskily whispered stepping a bit closer, Zero did the opposite and crawled as far away as possible which wasn't very far with the threatening fire behind him and Ichiru in his lap.

“W-where are my parents Rido?!” Zero spit out with anger, hugging Ichiru closer to him. He could sense that something was wrong, very wrong.

“They are properly dead or dying, either way they will not survive to see another day”

“N-No... no! You are lying you bastard!” Zero screamed his whole body trembling as his violet eyes widen.

“I never lie” He said with a cruel smile.

~

Zero gasped for air, his breathing was uneven an fast. He threw the covers of his body as he sat up crawling to the edge of the bed, sitting up so that his feet were touching the cold surface of the floor. Sweat rolled down his neck and forehead. He rested his head in his trembling hands that griped his ruffled hair.

Closing his eyes tight, he screamed out in pain, the dream was burning into his mind, forming into a memory that wasn't there in the before.

He didn't understand what was going on.

~Riku~

He had just closed the door to the bedroom, hoping that Zero might be getting some needed rest before he went back to the academy.

As much as Riku wished he could keep Zero here and somehow seduce him but he knew where Zero's heart belonged and when his memories would come back he would remember his precious person.

Riku sat in his black leather chair, playing with his cellphone in his hand thinking about how much Kaname must be freaking out at the moment, even if the boy didn't show it

Without delaying it any further he dialed a phone number and waited for the other man to answer.

After a very brief phone call he leaned back in his chair, waiting for his guest to arrive. Boredom easily took over him so he wander of to the kitchen pouring himself a glass of delicate wine.

Walking over to the window he saw the moon, it wasn't much time left until it became full and Riku smiled to himself knowing the meaning of a full moon.

Only concentrating on his thoughts Riku didn't manege to hear Zero waking up until his scream pierced through the air making Riku drop the glass of wine he held in his hand to spill all over the floor as he ran to the bedroom Zero was in.

~ Kaname/Takuma ~

“W-well, okay but you are not going to be happy. It's about Zero-sama, we might know where he is...” Takuma told him.

“Yuuki” Kaname said in an unemotional voice as his aura expanded.

“Yes honey?” She answered hopefully waiting for Kaname to order Takuma to go and kill the ex-human but instead got a much less satisfying answer.

“Get out” He said standing up and pushed on her back, walking with her towards the door, leaving no time for an argument as he pushed her out and closed the door behind her.

Kaname held the doorknob for a minute before turning around to face Takuma.

“You know where he is?” Kaname knew his voice sounded desperate but he needed to know where his loved one was.

“Well, yes and no.”

Kanames eyes narrowed. “You just said you did Takuma”

“Maa, maa, Kaname, calm down.” Ichijo answered waving his hands in midair trying to calm the other one.

“Let me rephrase what I said earlier. We know who took Zero-sama but we don't exactly know the location of the one who took him is. We still have people searching for him” Takuma knew that the situation was serious but he couldn't have Kaname explode with anger at the moment.

“Don't you dare “Maa” me Ichijo, tell me who has Zero and where that person is so I can crush him or her!”

“Well, we don't really kn-” “TAKUMA!” “All we know is that the person is a pureblood!” Takuma squished out, it was a embarrassing hit to his pride that he didn't know more about the one who had taken Zero.

Kaname was not to be played with at the moment and he was about to yell at the ridiculous man for making him believe that he could take home his Zero today but before he got the chance his cell phone rang. He was going to ignore the call until he saw the id shining in white.

The conversation was short but much needed as Kaname calmed down completely.

“Thank you, we will be there soon to get him” He ended the conversation.

“You can tell everyone to stop searching, I know who has him and where they are” He said.

“Ehhh! Who?” Takuma asked curiously. Kaname gave him a smile as he walked to the door and answered.

“Riku, Zero is under his care at the moment, but he also said that Zero is starting to transform so we must hurry” Kaname walked out the door leaving a stunned Takuma.

“WHAT! B-but Kaname!” He ran after him until they where both close to a car Kaname had asked for.

“What if Zero starts to remember won't that be a bad thing?” Takuma asked and Kamame glanced at him before entering the car giving the driver the location of where he wanted to go.

“Yes it will be bad, I had planned on giving Zero some reassurance first. It's full moon this end of the month and he will be feeling weaker then usual and more vulnerable every single day...” He closed his eyes then opened them, regret was seen in them.

“...I think that's why he ran away to begin with, he didn't feel safe and when he felt the other vampires... he ran because he was afraid. He didn't trust me to protect him from harms way” Kanames eyes narrowed.

“Takuma... I failed to protected him again”. Kaname whispered and a single tear run down his cheek.

Takuma smiled sadly at him then whiped away the tear as he turned Kanames head to face him.

“You can make it up to him now, be strong and protect him, love him. Make him remember the good times and forget the bad ones, make him remember you and everyone else that loves him.”

“Yeah, I will. I promise.” Kaname answered feeling a bit better.

~Zero (Others)~

After he screamed a person burst through the doors yelling Zeros name. Zero stared up at the man, remembering his voice as he spoke Zeros name with a much calmer voice.

“Zero?”

“Riku?” He asked, not knowing why the name seemed so familiar.

Riku smiled sadly, making Zeros heart jump a bit in guilt.

“Are you alright? You scared me, don't scream like that if you aren't in danger” He begged the last part moving over to where Zero was sitting.

Kneeling down before him, he took Zeros hands, kissing them.

“What made you cry?” Zero looked down in confusion.

“Cry?” He asked and the man locked his eyes with Zero, removing one of his hands to touch Zeros wet cheek.

“Yes, cry.” He said catching a tear in his hand and showed it to Zero with his wet hand.

“I had a nightmare. That's all...”

“What kind of nightmare, Zero?” A new voice asked coming from the door. Zero's eyes narrowed at the man in the door way, he wondered why he even told this man called Riku anything at all.

Zero stood up, smacking away his hands from the man sitting on the floor.

“Why are you here Kuran?” Zero hissed in anger.

Kaname sighted, “back to square one” he thought bitterly.

Kaname stepped forward but Zero took a step back falling on the bed, then he crawled a bit back.

Memories of Rido flashed before him. Kaname and Rido looked to much alike.

“S-stay away you bastard!” Zero screamed in agony, but not to Kaname.

Kaname and Riku saw Zeros eyes flash violet.

Kaname stepped closer and Zero screamed again.

“Don't touch me! I HATE you RIDO!” That's when Kaname leaped onto the bed, pinning Zero under his body.

“Zero!?” He tried to reach out to the boy, make him realize he wasn't Rido.

“Zero please hear me out! It's Kaname!” The boy shacked his head and struggled like his life was on the line.

“N-No!” Zero choked out closing his eyes still struggling against Kanames iron grip.

Kaname looked down at the boy then he leaned down to his ear whispering something then gave Zero a passionate kiss.

Zero gasped as Kanames tongue entered his mouth, eyes opening meeting brown ones.

Somehow Zero relaxed.

Kaname let go of his hands and pressed Zeros body closer to his.

“It's Kaname... Not Rido.”

He leaned into the kiss and was left panting when they separated. Takuma and Riku stared at them.

“Why don't you fall asleep for a bit? I will wake you up later, okay?” Kaname stoke Zeros flushed cheek with the back of his hand, even if he knew his suggestion sounded more as a command Zero gave him a weak smile.

“Okay...” Zero mumbled feeling awfully tired as a yawn escaped him and he fell asleep.

Kaname kissed the half moon on Zeros forehead as the lines got a little more visible. He then cradled Zero in his arms.

“What did you say to him?” Riku broke the silence as he looked at the now sleeping Zero being carried outside to the car. Kaname smiled proudly.

"That's a secret” He answered before entering the car, having Zero secured in his lap, playing with the boys hair as he said goodbye to Riku for now, promising to contact him after the big meeting.

Takuma who had taken a seat across from Kaname smiled at the scene, taking a mental picture so that he could remember this moment forever on.

“What are we going to do now Kaname?” Takuma asked.

Kaname answered but his eyes remind on Zero.

“First we need to attend to the big meeting, the others are getting anxious over hearing about Zero and then we need to have a little talk with Yuuki” His voice getting colder at the end.

He didn't look forward talking to Yuuki...

I really wanted to have a nice lemon, but that just have to wait for a bit. I think in the next chapter Yuuki will be get some time and also some of the other students because so far everything has only been about Zero and Kaname (Riku, Takuma).

~ I really didn't have a story the first 2 chapters (forgive me!) I just wrote what I could think of so right now I'm working on how the story should go so the questions you might have can be answered, hopefully everything will turn out good. I'm trying to make it so it won't be to hard to understand, but it's looking REALLY good right now so thumps up everyone! :)

~ Chapter 4 will take some more time then I thought (it's my birthday tomorrow so I won't have time to finish it) but I will update before the 5th of March!
