A/N: I’m back with a new update. Today Shun starts to hear the first tale of one of the former Saints. Misty’s tale is going to be split into two separate parts, though I may do that for most of them to allow more detail. Also I was stuck making sure I got all my facts right when I’m calling Misty younger and smaller.
Shun groaned softly as his world swam into focus. He blinked a couple times and slowly sat up. “Oh you’re awake.” Shun jumped as he saw a sort of familiar face staring back it him. “Sorry, Aiacos is in a meeting with Hades, and they thought it best if I come watch you incase this happened. You were the Andromeda Saint right?”
“Yeah, you were… Lizard? Right?” Shun asked, his head was a little fuzzy and he felt dizzy and a bit on the weak side. “Ah… I feel like- I don’t even know how to describe it…”
“You get used to it.” Misty replied touching his shoulder gently. “Yeah, Lizard Misty, I know we never met in person, but you probably heard about me from the kid or Seiya.” Misty added hastily before looking down at his lap. “I think its very brave what you did.”
“How do you know about that?” Shun looked up at him surprised before Misty smiled a little bit. “I didn’t think it would be something that Hades would be broadcasting.”
“Oh he isn’t, Thantos told Minos, who told Aiacos, who told me.” Misty explained with a grin. “Anything happens that’s interesting in the least and people are all over it, its rather dull down here unless there’s a Holy War going on.” Misty laughed softly looking up at Shun. “So it’s the most exciting thing since Albafica was born, most of the other former saints are really excited to see you and hear how things are going.”
“Oh… I mean everything’s been really quiet for us, and everyone but me as really started to settle down…” Shun looked down shifting a bit. “Athena’s doing well, Seiya and Shiryu have committed themselves to eachother, same for my brother and Hyoga.”
“I see, that’s quite nice for them. I have spent many days wondering how things are going up there, with so few saints running around. Have you seen any new trainees?” Misty asked with a smile on his face before leaning on his arm. Shun proceeded to scoot over on the bed and looked down, noticing instead of the clothing he’d arrived in, he was wearing a pair of black silk pajamas, that were rather big on him, he could only assume they were Hades’s.
“This must be more comfortable than that chair.” He noticed the simple chair Misty had been sitting in and smiled as the other sat across from him with a bit of a nod. “Anyway, if I remember correctly we’ve got a few with promise who are probably going to be getting cloths soon. If I remember right there was a female saint on Coast D’Azure who’s been training for your cloth. I never personally met her, but I’ve only heard good things apart from the fact she’s a little on the clumbsy side. I know we also have a new group of young saints training for the bronze cloths.”
“Well good to hear that they won’t be deffenseless.” Misty laughed a little bit, before looking up at Shun. “Its good to hear news from topside, I know a lot of us ex-saints have been worrying about the sanctuary the whole time we’ve been down here.”
“Well I can tell you everything is well. Now, if you don’t mind I’d like you to tell me what’s happened to you since the holy war. I know some of what happened to Aphrodite, but Aiacos is the other of the three judges aside from Rhadamanthys and Minos, right?” Shun asked, leaning foreward with curiosity.
“Alright, I suppose I could tell you. Let me see.” Misty closed his eyes trying to remember exactly what had occurred. “The first them I remember after my 12 hours were up was darkness, we were all brought to one location, I suppose it was the first prison, I don’t know… All I remember was thinking that it was the end of things. So as we stood there all of us, Gold Saints, Silver Saints, even a few of Poseidon’s Mariners were there. We were all terrified I think, no matter how much of a stoic face people wore.” Misty said as the memories came flooding back to him.

“Misty?” The blonde saint jumped as a hand placed itself on his shoulder. He swung about ready to strike but stopped himself when he recognized Algol. “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you like that, any idea whats going on?”
Misty shook his head with a sigh. “No idea. Its okay, I’m just, you know, jumpy right now.” He admitted with a sigh shaking his head and looking around before giving a rather undigified yelp as one of the other silver saints crashed into him, sending him flying into Algol, who stumbled back knocking over Camus, who proceeded to knock over several other saints. “Sorry, you know, they really should have put us in a bigger room or something.” Misty grumbled before realizing the room was pleanty big enough, everyone had just crowded together, he assumed out of nerves.
“Its alright.” Algol got up and helped Misty up before looking around at their surroundings. Misty joined in looking at the surroundings. “I don’t like the looks of this.”
“Me either, I think people should spread out also.” He spoke quite loudly glaring around. “Because I’m pretty sure I’m the only one that doesn’t want to play another round of Human Dominoes.” He pointed out as people began to spread out a bit more from the corner where everone had croweded. Misty proceeded to walk over to one of the far, more empty walls, and settled himself down with a slight sigh. “Algol, what do you think is going to happen to us?”
“Beats me.” He sighed leaning back against the wall as well before glancing down at Misty. “You know, I always wondered if this was the end of the line.” He sighed a bit shrugging. “I always hoped there would be… you know a little more to life and death.”
“I know what you mean, Hades specters are lucky that they can be brought back.” Misty relaxed as best he could on the wall, before looking up at Algol. “What do you think will become of the sanctuary?”
“I know its in good hands, and unless another God or Goddess wakes up and decides they want to destroy Athena or something I think those saints that are left can handle it.” Algol replied with a smile. While they might not have been the most clever bunch of Saints, they were loyal, and strong. “I believe in Seiya and the others. I mean they deffeated three Gods with out anyone dieing.”
“Yeah, you have a point.” Misty said before looking up as a door opened and people began to head to the same back wall as before, Algol who had managed to not notice the door barely jumped out of the way in time to avoid being hit by the door and ended up tripping over Misty and landing in the younger Saint’s lap. “Hey!”
“Sorry.” Algol grumbled as he got up to sit beside Misty. He rubbed his elbow which he’d hit rather hard against the stone floor, wincing. “If I was alive, I think I would have broken something.”
“Get over there with the others.” A voice growled and Misty looked up to see he was staring into familiar yellow eyes. “Or would you rather I throw you over there.”
Misty got up slowly looking at Algol. “You could have warned us you were opening the door.” Misty replied calmly as he walked over towards the rest of the people rather calmly, before he found himself grabbed by one of the low level specters who had accompanied the three judges. “Hey! Let me go!” He quickly stomped on the specters foot and elbowed him in the stomach before walking over to stand with the other’s. “And don’t touch me.”
“Still seems to be a lot of fight in some of them.” Aiacos laughed softly as Misty walked over to Algol and took hold of the other’s arm checking it gently obviously trying to make it look like he wasn’t interested in the Specters. “I’m surprised that they wouldn’t just behave. Or do you think no one has told them yet?”
“No one told any of us anything!” Misty looked to the side to see Gemini Kanon had stepped foreward, in front of the two Silver Saints protectively. “Now, what the hell is going on?”
“Ah just the saint I was looking for.” Rhadamanthys grabbed onto Kanon who began to struggle against him. “It’s a lot easier to manage someone like you when they have no cosmos to protect them. Usually we would send the lot of you straight to Cocytus, however Hades-sama has generously offered those specters willing to give their lives for him the privilage of taking a fallen saint as theres to do as they please with.” Rhadamanthys proceeded to heave a kicking and protesting Kanon over his shoulder and walked out.
Mist looked at Algol who looked back at him. “Hide me.” He mumbled with a rather bemused expression, and then laughed as Algol actually moved directly infront of him. “Not litterally, it was… oh never mind.” He face palmed before stepping back out from behind him.
“I’ve always been particularly fond of the Pisces Saints, so I think I’ll go with you.” Minos walked to where Aphrodite stood, but was blocked by Deathmask. Of course with out his cosmo, he really wasn’t much of a threat, and was thrown aside into another group of saints who all ended up on the ground. “You can either come quietly and make this easy, or we can struggle.” Minos growled in his ear, and Aprhodite stepped back, looking between panic and anger. “Come now, I don’t intend to make this difficult, however it can be if needed.”
Aphrodite gave one last look at Deathmask who was just getting up, before taking Minos’s hand in his own. “Don’t do this! Its probably a trap!” Deathmask was on his feet and rushing at Minos again but was quickly sent flying into Algol, who hit a wall “Aphrodite!”
It was all he could do, Misty knew it, and it was almost heart breaking to watch see the looks on both their faces as Aphrodite looked back over his shoulder at Deathmask before he walked out of the room with Minos.
Misty turned his back on the remaining judge to help the other two up. “You all going to be okay?” He asked softly, mostly directing the question at Deathmask, who looked up at him.
“If we ever get out of this, and you mention this to someone, I will kill you both.” Deathmask grumbled as he was helped up off of the floor.
“You have some nerve to turn your back to one of the three judges of Meikai.” Misty turned around to find himself face to face with Aiacos, causing him to jump.
“Uh, you’re a bit close don’t you think?” Misty asked taking a step to the side, since Algol and Deathmask were directly behind him. “Besides, those two kind of just got thrown into a wall.”
“You’ve got a lot of spirits and guts, I think you’ll be fun.” Aiacos tried to grab Misty but the smaller man was a bit faster, in side stepping and ducking under his attempt to grab him, but a cry of pain came from Misty. He had landed wrong on his foot, and pain shot up his leg as he tumbled to the ground as he stumbled. “Well… that makes this eaiser.” He bent down scooping up Misty who looked from Aiacos to Algol and Deathmask with terror filled eyes as they went off. He knew things to come probably wouldn’t be pleasant, but maybe he’d be okay… or at least he hoped he would.
A/N: Poor Misty, he’s going to be in for a time of it. Algol just kind of ended up my comic relief for this chapter because he came up when I hit the random button for Saint Seiya Wiki. Please Review!
