Erza woke up with Jellal cuddled next to her. They two had slept in his hotel room since he had rented a room for the next few days since he and Erza were planning on buying a place in between their two guilds. Jellal wanted Erza to quit Fairy Tale and come with him to his guild, but Erza swore she would never leave Fairy Tale since they were her family. Jellal understood although he could not in good conscious leave his own guild as the guild leader.
Jellal looked so handsome in his sleep. His thick blue locks seemed to compliment his tan skin and beautiful face with that tattoo over his right eye. Erza loved him intensely and would do anything for her beloved other than leave Fairy Tale.
Erza uncovered herself and used her reequip powers to transform her normal armor onto her body. She did not feel well today, but nothing seemed wrong as in any foreboding feelings. However she was a little worried since she had missed her monthly cycle last month and was due to have her period today. If she did not have it than she knew she would not be able to battle for a while.
Jellal told Erza if she became pregnant he would force her to marry him and she would not battle until the child was of an age that they would not have to worry about leaving them on their own. Personally Jellal did not want Erza to battle anymore anyway. He worried for his fiancé and did not like to see her hurt. Jellal was rich enough that he could take care of them both, but Erza enjoyed battle and did not want to retire for a long time.
Erza went straight to the bathroom and ended up throwing up. She felt ill all of a sudden and then it was over with. Cleaning out her mouth and brushing her teeth Erza went to the bathroom only to find she wasn’t bleeding as she cursed in frustration. She knew what this illness meant and what today meant. Natsu was going to be so upset since this would break apart their little team.
Gray had passes his S class exam so it was not like they had to find an S class wizard to join Natsu’s group, but still it was not fair to Erza to have to give up her position so soon. Erza hoped that Natsu, Grey, and Lucy would understand. It just meant that the three would have to fight without her and possibly find another wizard to take her place for a time.
Erza tried not to cry, but a few tears came anyway. She was both happy and sad. Erza loved the fact she and Jellal were going to have a baby, but at the same time she wanted to still fight. Erza felt she was too young to be pregnant, but Jellal refused to wear a condom since he wanted to have children with her plus when they did get together it was not very often so these moments were treasured by the two powerful wizards.
Jellal stirred in his sleep finding that beautiful warm body was no longer next to him. He opened his eyes to see Erza crying and that upset him. He knew Erza was worried about her friends, but unless someone died he did not figure Erza had a reason to cry. He really hoped that young man Loke was still alive.
Getting out of bed Jellal came to Erza wrapping his strong arms around her asking his beloved if everything was alright. Erza turned around and buried her face in Jellal’s chest sobbing softly.
“I’m pregnant.”
Erza sobbed out and Jellal’s eyes went wide. He wanted this, but was not quite prepared for it to happen right now. They did not have as much as he wanted to buy the house he had been looking at since he needed three more big jobs to gain it. It wasn’t that he did not have the money now to buy it; it was he wanted them to have enough to survive after they bought the house plus have enough for the kind of wedding he knew Erza wanted.
“Are you sure darling?”
Jellal asked and Erza nodded telling Jellal that she was absolutely certain. That meant Jellal would have to settle for a smaller house than he wanted with less land. Erza deserved better than that and thus it meant Jellal would need to find at least three jobs in the next two months to make enough for the house he wanted. Perhaps some of the Fairy Tale wizards would go with him to do some of this cleanup work on these S class jobs. If he could even get one large S class job it would make all the difference in the world.
“Very well, we shall make plans to marry then my love.”
Jellal said as he knew now he would have to provide for them both. If he could get at least three big jobs he would not have to work for at least a year or two so he could be there for Erza during the pregnancy and to see his child born.
Erza knew now her life would change and no matter what she could not go around doing the wild things she did if she wanted this baby. She wanted this child badly, it just seemed too soon.
Jellal waited for Erza to calm down knowing this was hard on his fiancé since he knew how Erza was about working. He also knew how Erza was about fighting and he would insist his wife did not fight for many years since he wanted more than one child. Jellal wanted a big family so he hoped Erza was prepared for this.
Getting dressed Jellal planned on having the wedding at Fairy Tale also inviting his guild members to come to it. It was to be one of the largest celebrations in Magnolia. Erza would of course choose her gown and hopefully have her friends help her with the decorations. Jellal figured he would pay for the caterer, cake, and whatever else Erza wanted as well as for the honeymoon in which they would go to the best spa resort in the world to relax and enjoy a week of nothing except being pampered.
Jellal planned on having his wife happy and he would do everything for her. He would care for all her needs as well as his family no matter what. He also wanted to set money aside just in case something happened to either one of them. He wanted his family set up for the rest of their lives.
“Erza plan on marrying me next week. I want us to be married as soon as possible.”
Jellal said as he finished dressing since he planned on going out to look for work as soon as they left the hotel. He would leave the room available for Erza, until he got back from his job. It was important to Jellal to start working right away and he would secure that house immediately. He was absolutely certain he could handle two of the jobs he had seen on his own. It was the third job he worried about.
Erza nodded and grasped Jellal kissing him passionately before he left to go take care of the two jobs he had in mind letting Erza know she was to stay at the hotel until he got back. Erza was also to go see a doctor as soon as possible to insure she did not injure herself on the last job enough to harm the baby.
Figuring she would go see Natsu and Gray Erza left the hotel after getting a bit of breakfast which consisted of some fresh fruit and a donut she had been craving she went to Gray’s house to find that the two young men had already left.
Going to the guild hall Erza hoped that Lucy was doing alright. When she got there she could hear Lucy shouting at Natsu about invading her privacy since she was trying to now get dressed and Natsu would not leave her alone. Erza went up to the infirmary and grabbed Natsu by his ear pulling him away from Lucy so she could dress in private as Gray at least had turned around so the young woman could have her privacy.
“I just wanted to help. It ain’t like I am interested in her like that.”
Natsu said since Lucy was still banged up a bit and Natsu just was trying to do what a brother would for his sister. He had snuck into Lucy’s apartment to get Lucy her clothing trying to find something that would actually cover Lucy a bit better than her normal clothes. Finally finding a pair of jeans and a t shirt as well as socks Natsu brought the items to Lucy who was grateful for them only to throw a complete tantrum when Natsu tried to help her dress.
“Just because you are gay Natsu does not mean she wants you to see her naked. A girl needs her privacy sometimes. It isn’t the same as it was when we were kids Natsu.”
Erza tried to explain to the boy who was rubbing his ear in frustration. Gray wanted to see since he liked the view of a naked girl, but he respected Lucy enough to give her the privacy she needed. He also knew even if he liked what he saw he would eventually be repulsed by her since his mating mark made things that way.
Natsu frowned as he waited for Lucy to get dressed and after she did she let them know it was ok to turn around now. Erza came over to Lucy and checked the bandage on her head to make sure it was still on good and tight. That bump Lucy had, had been pretty bad although the bleeding had stopped a long time ago. Mirajane came back with some ice to make Lucy lie back down placing the ice on the back of her head. Lucy was not to leave the infirmary until that bump went down a bit more according to Master Dreyar’s orders.
“So is Loke ok now?”
Natsu asked Lucy and Lucy nodded saying that Loke went back to the celestial world so he should be doing fine now. Lucy missed him and told them that he would be gone for at least three days to heal, but hopefully he would be back soon.
Erza told her team the news about her being pregnant and Natsu totally freaked out with Erza eventually bonking him on the head to get him to calm down. This meant no more S class assignments for a while until they found a fourth partner. Gray was S class, but it did not mean it was wise to not have someone who was powerful enough to go on these wild quests with. Erza suggested they talk with Gajeel, but both Gray and Natsu balked at that.
“Well you could work with Juvia if she will ever forgive Natsu. Juvia is now dating Elfman so if you could get those two on your side you would have a pretty good team.”
Erza said and Gray frowned at that. Juvia was still hurt that he chose Natsu over her, but Gray had not felt anything except friendship for Juvia. He really had not meant to break her heart and when they went out she was so damn insane with the whole commitment idea. Still if they could team up with Elfman and Juvia they would have a good enough team to go against almost any foe.
“That is if Juvia doesn’t drown you Natsu. She has wanted to kill you for months now.”
Lucy said since for the longest time Juvia was jealous of Lucy, but Lucy did not love Gray like a boyfriend. She couldn’t imagine being with a guy who constantly stripped down to his underwear on a whim even if he was hot. Sometimes Gray would strip down to absolutely nothing during a fight with someone stealing his boxers, usually it was a girl who did this, normally it was Cana who took them with Natsu throwing a total fit that his boyfriend was naked again.
Surprising enough Gray was standing still wearing his black silk shirt over his white slacks while he stood listening to their options since unfortunately Erza was not going to be able to go on jobs anymore. Gray really did not want to deal with Juvia, but anyone was better than Gajeel.
To everyone’s surprise Gajeel came up the stairs with a bundle of roses with Levy at his side ignoring the growling of Natsu to see Lucy. Gajeel did not smile, but looked concerned over Lucy which shocked everyone.
“Hi Lucy, we just thought we would bring you something to cheer you up. It was Gajeel’s idea so you will have to thank him.”
Levy said with a wide smile as Gajeel gave Lucy the roses.
“I hope you get better soon. I know that things have been rough for you and we overheard that you are looking for a fourth. By the way, congratulations Erza!”
Levy said in excitement since she was so happy for Erza since it had been a long time since they had little ones at the guild.
“We don’t need a fourth! We are just fine!”
Natsu snarled out only for Lucy to stop Natsu with Erza smacking him on the back of the head.
“At least hear them out you idiot.”
Erza said angrily since Levy was also S class and that meant possibly she, Gajeel, Jet, and Droy would all be part of their team. It was a good group and they could use the money. Lucy did have to pay for her apartment and although they could take smaller assignments an S class assignment always paid the best.
“Well we are thinking of getting married and starting a family too so Gajeel needs work and although you guys don’t get along you all need the money. Two dragon slayers are better than one and it will only be for a while until we have enough to buy a small house and such. Gajeel was also against it, but these small jobs are not going to bring in the income we need where as a few S class ones would at least give us enough to take care of our family.”
Levy said and Gray thought about it. Natsu would do it for Levy, but not to help Gajeel who was a complete ass. Lucy thought it was a great idea and figured she could quell any fights between the two dragon slayers.
“We did not get along so well either Natsu. Perhaps we should give this a try. Worst case scenario we all kill each other, but at least we would have a fairly powerful team.”
Gray said after a few minutes since he felt that this was a good option, however if Gajeel hurt Lucy or acted like a tool the whole time he would freeze the guy’s balls off.
“I am only doing this for Levy.”
Natsu said as he turned away from Gajeel who nodded since he felt the same way. They two slayers hated each other and they would tolerate one another for as long as this arrangement had to be made. Erza figured everything would be fine now. The only issue she had was Natsu had to watch his temper around Gajeel. The two couldn’t be fighting each other while working together, however Gray and Natsu had done so, so it was not impossible to do.
“Thank you for the flowers Gajeel. I am glad you are going to be a part of our team. Maybe we can get to know one another better.”
Lucy said with Gajeel looking down at the girl he had once hurt badly. She was so nice it made him feel slightly ill. He did not like feeling regret and yet he did feel it. Levy was changing him and he was becoming someone he did not know anymore. He actually cared about people and this guild.
Gajeel knew he loved Levy, it was hard not to love her, but he did not know if he wanted these icky feelings of care for others. Gajeel did not need friends as far as he was concerned, he just needed Levy to be happy and his partner Panther Lily.
“It is settled then. When do you two plan on marrying?”
Erza asked since she thought about having them do a double wedding.
“Well, we were thinking of having it here in about a month. We just want something small with a few friends. We can’t afford anything lavish if we are going to buy a house and I have the perfect dress since I made it myself so we won’t have to buy anything.”
Levy said and Erza knew that they could have a much nicer wedding if they did it with her and Jellal.
“Why don’t you both get married with me? That way it is already planned before hand and you both will have a much nicer ceremony with everyone here. We are doing it next week so all you have to do is show up dressed and ready. If you have money set aside for a wedding just save it up for your honeymoon.”
Erza said since everyone would want to be there for Levy and that way people could get to know Gajeel better. Levy deserved to have a grand wedding for all she did for the guild.
“We can use my apartment for the brides to dress and prepare for the wedding. We could have a slumber party kind of thing just for the girls. A bachelorette party! It would be fantastic!”
Lucy said since she had a great idea for the party. They would get a stripper, but Gray stripped so much there was no point in having one.
“What about us?”
Natsu said since he wanted to be part of the bachelorette party. It sounded fun.
“You guys throw a bachelor party for Jellal and Gajeel. Guys are supposed to do that.”
Lucy said and Gray and Natsu frowned. They did not want to throw a party for either of these guys. Lucy however gave them both a look that they had to do this or she would kill them.
“When Loke is better I will have him help you set up the party. He knows how to do a bachelor party. He has been to a ton of them; of course he also crashed a few.”
Erza said since Loke probably knew the hottest women in town. She wasn’t too keen on Jellal being drunk with a bunch of rowdy guys with strippers, but she had a stripper in mind for their party. All the girls would be invited and rather than having it at Lucy’s place they would go to the local spa. Hopefully she could get a hold of Mystogan again. The prince would hopefully be willing to do a strip tease for the girls and it would be a nice fantasy to have Jellal’s alternate universe twin to show up for the event. It would be like seeing Jellal take it off knowing that it wasn’t her lover.
