Ichigo Arc-Chapter 3: Jing’s Mamodo Library! Libra, the Mamodo of Balance! Jing and Libra's Dysfunctional Friendship!
I was in my Mamodo Library (a library with a Mamodos’ spellbooks inside). Each spellbook have been categorized by alphabet,category,and power. I went over to the category that was known as the “Zodiac Twelve”. There was only eleven spellbooks (Gemios was given to Chisu back then). I grabbed a indigo blue-colored spellbook that had a picture of a balance scale on its side and some other spellbooks from different categories as well. I then left and closed the gate of the orb.

Few Hours Later
It took me a while to find each leader of a team and give them each a spellbook (it was even harder to find the leaders of the evil teams). Me,Ichigo,Lily,Ananta,and Rikuo were coming from a restaurant after chowing down on some food and were heading towards the forest. Ichigo and Rikuo looked a little stronger than they did before because of the one week training I gave them inside of the TARDIS. Not only that,but, I had also put some Gourmet Cells into their bodies (it really hurted for them).
Rikuo: (talking to me) So wait, you’re saying that Mamodos come in all different shapes,forms,and powers?
Me: (nods) Yeah. But it’s not that easy for a Mamodo to find their spellbook partner. (talking to Lily) Hey,Lily, why not explain it to him? You’re great at explaining things like this to people.
Lily: (grinning) Well,that is true, onii-chan. (talking to Rikuo) Mamodos live in a separate dimension from this one known as the “Mamodo World.” A 100 Mamodos that are chosen from their school is given their own spellbook and are sent to this dimension for a battle to determine who’s going to become the Mamodo King. This battle happens once every thousand years. Once there is only one left standing, that Mamodo will become the Mamodo King. (guesses) And I know what you’re thinking: how do they decide? If a Mamodo’s spellbook was set on fire by a Mamodo’s spell,set on fire by the opponent’s spellbook reader,or damaged beyond repair,the spellbook will still be on fire no matter what the Mamodo tries. Then,once the spellbook is completely gone, that Mamodo is sent back to the Mamodo World. (drinks some pop)
Me: (continues) But it’s not easy for the Mamodo to find their spellbook reader. They’ll have to go to person to person in order to see if there’s someone that can read their first spell. If they can, then they’re destined to work together. There are many ways to unlock a Mamodo’s next spell. In order to use a spell, the spellbook reader needs to use some of the energy from their heart in order to help increase the spells strength and/or cast a spell. Then, they have to read the spell itself. Simple as that, I think. (talking to everyone) Last one there has to scrub the toilet for a month! (runs)
Everyone ran after me.

Few Minutes Later
We were in the forest and I had my spellbook out, ready for training. Lily was across from me with her bo staff out.
Me: (instructs) Lily, charge at me.
Lily: (nods) Right, onii-chan! (dashes towards me)
I looked at the page and I could easily read the first spell. The spell was glowing a purple color.
Me: Radis Liruk!
A form appeared out of the spellbook and in front of me. She was wearing a golden-colored shirt and shorts (the shirt had a purple-colored Zodiac Sign of Libra on it),had short golden-colored hair that was in a ponytail,purple-colored eyes,and light skin.
A scale appeared in front of her. Both had a flame on both sides. One of the flames was red on the left side, while the flame on the right side was blue. The red flame grew bigger and the scale tipped to the left. Then,all of a sudden, Lily suddenly turned to the left and continued until she crashed into a tree.
Lily: (rubs her head) Ouch, that hurt! (confused) What was that?
Mamodo #1: (talking to everyone) My spell affects my opponents balance. When either of the scales is tilted,my opponent’s body will be forced to tilt as well, affecting their sense of direction.
Me: (talking to Ichigo,Lily,Ananta,and Rikuo) Everyone meet Libra. Just like Chisu’s old Mamodo partner,Gemios, she’s one of the twelve Mamodos of the Zodiac. Her power is balance. (talking to Libra) (holds out my hand) Nice to meet you Libra, I’m Jing.
Libra: (turns away) I don’t shake hands, especially with my spellbook reader. (bosses) Your job will be to read my spells and don’t slow me down, got that?
Me: (red anime vein mark) (thinking) (groans) Why did I give her a bossy-like personality and not think about what would happen if I was paired off with her?

Meanwhile
Jong was facing off against a Mamodo and its Spellbook Reader. Jong had his Spellbook out as well. It had a picture of a yo-yo on its side. The spellbook’s first spell was glowing a volcanic red color.
Jong: (calls out) Yuyu Oru Yo-Yo!
Then, a form appeared in front of Jong. It was a girl whose height reached past his knees. She was wearing a yellow shirt with some images on it,green shorts,had curly blue hair,pink-colored-eyes,and had two yo-yo’s at her sides.
She had brought out one of her yo-yos and started extending it back and forth by its string in the direction of the enemy. The speed started to increase until it was moving at a fast speed and was emitting a purple energy. She brought it back to her hand, and then she extended it again. This time, at a fast speed. The yo-yo was heading towards the Mamodo.
Spellbook Reader #1: (talking to the Mamodo #2) Try and defend yourself! It’s just a yo-yo.
The Mamodo brought their arms across the front of their body to defend themselves from the yo-yo. The yo-yo then suddenly curved around the Mamodo and hit the Mamodo’s spellbook. The Mamodo’s spellbook caught on fire.
Mamodo #2: Noooooo!
After a while, the Mamodo’s spellbook was completely gone and the Mamodo disappeared. The spellbook reader then ran away.
Jong: (closes the spellbook) (talking to Mamodo #3) That was great work. What’s your name?
Mamodo #3: (introduces herself) I’m Yo-Ya,and as you saw, I have the power of yo-yos. What’s yours?
Jong: I’m Jong, and I have the power of fire and lots of other things. Since we’re now partners, we’ll be training to increase your power and unlock your other spells. Are you ready, Yo-Ya?
Yo-Ya: (nods) (serious) Yeah, I’ve been ready ever since we’ve first meet each other a few minutes ago.
Jong: (turns around) Good, now follow me.
Yo-Ya followed Jong and they went into the forest.

Back to Us
Me: (argues with Libra) Don’t act all bossy just because you’re one of the 12 Mamodos of the Zodiac.
Libra: I’m not acting bossy. I know that I don’t need someone like you to be my spellbook reader. I’d rather have someone else.
Me: (hands her a scroll) Oh really? Then read rule #1 that I put for my Mamodo Library.
Libra: (grabs the scroll) Okay then, but this won’t change anything.
Libra opened the scroll and read rule #1. She was silent for a few seconds.
Me: (informs everyone) Rule #1 clearly states that once the first spell has been read by the person and casted by the Mamodo, they’ll be partnered up forever. So it’s kind of like a contract that activates once it has been read.
Libra: (drops the scroll) I’m stuck with you forever? That’s not fair at all.
Me: (holds out my hand) So,Libra,let’s work together from now on, okay? So let’s shake hands. You have no choice.
Libra: (sighs) Fine. (shakes my hand) Besides, I’m stuck with you forever. I think that’s the worst punishment I’ve ever been given.
Me: (smiling) (cracks my knuckles) You have 5 seconds to run.
Libra was confused at first but then she started running while I was chasing behind her.

Info #1: It’s a place where I store the spellbooks of our enemies from different worlds that were transformed into a Mamodo by Zatch when he’s in one of his forms. But actually, they’re put inside the spellbook. Once I place the spellbook into the Library’s computer,I chose the color of the spellbook,and what the enemy would look like as a Mamodo. Including, what their power is (Ex: Wind), and the spells they use. But since it’s been long since I last been to the Library (except to dust), I don’t know what their spells are or what they do.

These are the twelve Mamodos of the Zodiac and their power(s):
Aries: Rams and Horns
Taurus: Axes and Strength Enhancing
Gemini: Fire and Ice and can split into two beings
Cancer: Crabs and Armor
Leo (the strongest and the leader of the Zodiac): Lions and Light (because he’s pure hearted)
Virgo: Women based spells (even if they’re an attack or defense spell)
Libra: Balance and Scales
Scorpio: Scorpions (non-poisonous Scorpions) and Sand
Sagittarius: Arrows and Speed
Capricorn (rival of Aries): Goats and Horns
Aquarius: Water
Pisces: Yin and Yang and can split into two beings
Info #3: The next chapter will be fast forward to somewhere in between Episodes 9 and 10 because I don’t want to create a chapter that‘s about me and Libra training. It’ll be about when me and Libra challenges Kiyo and Gash (we’re in the Konjiki no Gash Bell World) to a Mamodo battle.
