Serena was feeling much better when she woke up the next morning. She was shocked to find that all her wounds were healed.
Morning Training!
Stretches!
So Serena did stretches before sneaking for shower and dressing in her uniform. She got Luna fed while making her own lunch. Just the time she finished putting it in her Inventory her mother came in.
Ikuko frowned but noted that Serena had once again gotten Luna fed and was up early. She made breakfast and made Serena wash the dishes that she used.
Dishwashing-1
After Serena had finished all the breakfast dishes she was allowed to eat a tiny bit of breakfast herself before going on her run with Sammy. Luna even ran with them. Serena shocked everyone by arriving early two days in a row and starting to study as soon as she sat down.
"LIke what's gotten into you, Serena?" Molly asked frowning at her.
Serena didn't look at her no one at school was ever nice to her so this had to be a trap.
"I'm early so what?" Serena replied in English.
Serena was soon wishing she hadn't said anything as several girls dragged her to the bathroom and beat her up while pulling her hair. She still got to class on time for which only seemed to anger them more. Serena did her best all day wishing she could rest and heal but she couldn't.
In gym her screen wanted her to do front flips on the bar. She'd never been able to do that. So she struggled and everyone laughed at her. She finally managed one but fell on the landing so it didn't count as her training. She kept pushing herself after all her mama wanted her to get better grades in all of her classes.
She managed to get only 5 done before class so had failed the training. She got laughed at in her cooking class because her food looked gross but Serena didn't care she would eat this for dinner tonight if she didn't get any.
All day long she persisted in speaking English even when she got it wrong. This seemed to impress her teachers and annoy everyone else.
"What happened?" Luna asked as Serena picked her up after school.
"Some girls beat me up. It doesn't matter." Serena said, shrugging.
Luna frowned deeply as they entered the Crown and ordered a drink and sat down to study. It took about an hour for Darien to join them. He sat his arm around Serena and began helping her with her school work.
"I'm telling dad!" Sammy said, catching their attention. "You're not allowed to date!"
"I'm not!" Serena cried, "Darien is just helping me with my homework. I swear. Sammy, please don't lie to daddy."
Sammy just grinned and ran off.
Serena dragged her feet on the way home and wouldn't let Darien walk her to the door. She could tell he was watching her as she knocked on the door.
"Hello, can I come in?" Serena asked her dad.
Judging by how angry he was Sammy had indeed told him that Darien was her boyfriend.
"Sammy is lying, daddy!" Serena cried as he dragged her up to her room. "Daddy, please, Darien was only helping me with my homework."
Serena was thrown out after the beating. She stumbled to the park sure something was wrong with her ankle. She sat on a park bench hoping that Luna got to eat. She stared hard at tree as she held her side.
"What are you doing out here?" Darien asked sitting down next to her. "I thought I walked you home...."
"Stay away from me." Serena told him and got up to walk away. He got up and grabbed her wrist lightly. "Let me go!"
"I didn't mean for you to get punished." he told her. "I was just trying to help."
"I don't need help." she told him. "Everything is fine. Please just leave me alone."
Serena moaned when she woke up in the hospital the next morning. The last thing she remembered was talking to Darien. She had a breathing tube down her throat and wanted it out. She was fine now fully healed. She was going to miss school today. She couldn't afford for that to happen and Luna must be worried sick about her and what if a monster showed up?
The Doctors finally removed the tube but wouldn't listen to her when she said she needed to get to school.They wouldn't even run more tests to prove that she was healed they were going to keep her over night again. Serena wasn't going to put up with that.
An hour after school let out Darien showed up. She was thrilled to see his backpack was struggling sure enough when Darien opened the bag Luna jumped out and into her arms. Serena hugged her.
"I got your homework too." Darien said, softly. "I thought I could help you study......."
"Thank you for everything, Darien but please just leave me alone. You're going to make things worse."
"You're really coming along with your English." Darien smiled, he noticed that three people had just come in and heard him. "Well, I'll be heading out then. Feel better soon, Meatball head."
Darien left quickly but didn't want to. He had a feeling that it was Serena's family was hurting her.
Serena stared hard at her blankets. How was she going to get out of this one? She didn't even get to talk she was scolded for coming to the hospital and told that she was going to be punished when she got home and she had better not think she was going to get to eat anytime soon.
Serena wanted to cry as they left but instead forced herself to study and do her homework.
Late that night Serena and Luna used Stealth, and gained many levels in the skill to get out of the hospital. They ran towards home only to run into Darien who stopped them from going on. He held her as she struggled.
"I wont let you go back there to be hurt." Darien told her.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Serena told him. "Let me go or I'll scream."
"I'm trying to help you." Darien told her with a sigh.
She screamed and he let her go it was a decision he would come to regret later.
Serena got beat for getting caught sneaking into the house and for going to the hospital. She was then kicked out again too hurt to walk.
Darien was glad he'd stayed in the neiborhood. He lifted Serena into his car and buckled her in she was fighting to stay awake.
"No....hospital......." Serena rasped. "I'll be........fine.........after...........sleep........."
Darien didn't want to take her to his place just in case she got the wrong idea. He knew there was a bed in the back of the Crown so he called Andrew who agreed to meet him there. He agreed to let Luna and Serena stay when he saw her. They tucked her into bed and Andrew fed Luna.
"What happened?" Andrew asked. "I thought she was in the hospital."
"It's for her to tell you not me." Darien sighed sitting in a chair across the room from Serena who was on the bed. He ran a hand down his face. "I never thought this was happening to her. I knew she seemed to be hiding something behind that smile and happiness but I never expected this."
Andrew had to privatly agree. He was dead set on finding out who had hurt Serena someone he loved like a little sister. First though he had to call the owner of the Crown and tell him that Serena was staying the night and see if she couldn't stay when she needed to.
He swore up and down that she was not his girlfriend and he wasn't using the room for anything sexual that she was hurt that someone was hurting her. The owner said he wanted to see for himself and was sending his child.
Amara Tenou walked in the back room at The Crown one of her favorite places to hang out to see Andrew and Darien playing cards at the table and the beautiful blond girl that she had a major crush on beat up on the bed with a small black cat with her.
"What happened?!" Amara snapped. "What happened to Tsukino-san?! Tell me right now!"
Both teens were shocked by Tenou's reaction. They'd seen Tenou watching Serena but had never thought that Tenou cared about their bunny.
"I can't." Darien said, noting that Tenou had woken the cat. "It's Serena's story to tell and she wont tell you even if you ask. She'll just play it off as nothing."
Amara decided to stay and kicked the other two out they had no choice but to go. She sat down on the bed and caressed Serena's cheek.
"So you're first name is Serena?" she said, softly. " A beautiful name for a beautiful girl."
"Thank you." Serena said, blinking her eyes open. "W-Who are you? W-Where am I?"
"Darien and Andrew brought you to the back room of the Crown." Amara answered softly. "I'm Tenou A. My father owns the Crown."
Serena nodded. She tried to force herself to sit up.
"No, stay down." Amara said, "Are you hungry? I'll order you something."
"No, it's fine."
Luna mewled loudly.
"Your cat seems to disagree." Amara chuckled and ran her fingers down Serena's cheek making the younger girl blush. "I'll order you something."
"You don't have to, Tenou-san." Serena said, sitting up and grabbing the hand of the other girl whom she was assuming was a boy. She blushed as a jolt shot through her.
Amara enjoyed the jolt and wondered what it meant? Was Serena the one? Her soul mate? She looked down at her with a smile.
"I want to." she assured Serena. "Don't worry."
Serena and Amara ate Chinese that night and Serena had to admit it was the first time she'd had it. She also said that she liked it very much. Serena collapsed do to fever half way through the dinner.
Amara jumped up and caught her. She took her to the bed and slowly undressed her and covered her up then began undressing herself.
"What are you doing?" Serena was crimson from fever and blushing.
"I'll absorb your fever into me." Amara informed. She sighed when saw how scared Serena was. "It's okay if we're both girls right?"
Serena nodded.
Amara had her shirt off showing a very male chest but as Serena and Luna watched that male chest became a female chest and Amara finished undressing and climbed into bed with Serena and held her close.
"It's okay, sleep." Amara told the girl in her arms. "I'll protect you."
Serena was confused as how Tenou could be a boy and a girl but was soon sucked under by sleep.
