Chapter 3: Confrontation.
Note: Alright then my doods! Here is another chapter for y’all and you seem to really like this story and I certainly do because I love the infinity gems especially the comic versions because they were significantly more powerful then what the MCU depicted them as, disappointments.
But anyway, I’m just gonna plow through the ten months with a few points in between because honestly, neither me or unlimited has anything planned for the 10 months skip.
But we DID include obtaining a second stone just before the exam and in order to master the power gem, you need the mind gem so you dood’s know what’s being caught next.

Throughout the next ten months had gone by extremely quickly for the infinity glove user as he prepared for the upcoming U.A Entrance Exam, specifically for the greenette to enter the prestigious U.A Hero Course.
The U.A High School’s Hero Course was constantly voted to be the top hero course in the entirety of Japan with a 2% Acceptance rate which allows 40 Students into the hero course.
So getting in alone is going to be extraordinarily tough but what’s even tougher is to maintain the spot within the course because it’s been a well known fact that U.As hero course always boasted on being able to produce heroes that lasted twice or three times longer than most heroes, however in order to maintain that average, the teachers has full authority to expel any student they believe don’t fit into the course.
This may seem like an extreme for a school meant to teach the hero students on HOW to be a hero and was even criticized for such harsh treatment on students yet the results produced showcased just how effective this method is.
So then, during the ten months, the greenette worked constantly to increase his control over the power gem and somehow ended up siphoning its limitless producing energy into capsules and batteries.
The capsules could be used about the same as a mass produced fragmentation grenade with enough power to collapse a two story house, Izuku chose to keep at least two of these highly dangerous explosives on his person to get him out of binds or for distractions.
The batteries were just a small side venture to the young greenette and sold them to some minor companies around Musutafu for some big bucks especially since the izukus battery, being similar to an enlarged battery.
A lot of companies wanted that battery because whatever it was filled with, it wasn’t electricity and it was significantly more powerful than regular energy, a single battery could last six months alone with constant use like a casino.
Izuku had been using that money to help pay off the lease on their apartment and the rent though Inko quickly stopped the latter portion commenting he could use that money for himself or that plucky girl he’s been hanging out with.
Though the greenette denies any romantic feelings early on primarily because he was focused on getting a stronger handle on his power gem.
But that however didn’t last long because it was the 2 months before the U.A’s Entrance Exam arrived.
Izuku and Kinoko had gotten together after 8 months of friendship and some people may think that was too quick for the young couple but the thing is that Kinoko didn’t want to feel alone and didn’t want to push the greenette away so she confessed to him, saying he was one of the few guys who actually liked her the way she is.
When the mushroom girl confessed to the infinity glove wearer at the first place they’ve met for symbolic reasons, Izuku nearly had a total mental shut down because while he did like Kinoko, maybe even love her since she was one of the few who overlooked his quirkless status, the greenette never once expected to be an object of affection to the brown haired girl.
But in any case, Izuku agreed and they’ve been very close since then.
During the last two months.
Izuku Midoriya was in his new outfit, he phased out all the nerdy and dorky shirts to focus on more practical clothings.
The greenette is now starting to grow out his hair which is longer than he was 9 months ago, then puts his hair into a ponytail to further cement his new look.
His outfit consisted of a skin tight sleeveless shirt that compressed on his muscular body, showing off his toned arms and acquired 8-Pack Abs, Izuku had been pumping the Power Gems limitless energy throughout his muscular structure and physically enhanced his body to which he could achieve years of physical training for a week of energy pumping.
His pants were custom made combat pants using kevlar weave so they were near indestructible which they tucked into combat boots that originally came from America though the green boy paid extra for that shipping.
The greenette often believed he was cheating himself to be greater than others but chose to not think about it because Izuku has been constantly slammed onto the ground by other people, specifically Katsuki Bakugo, and told he would never be anything without a quirk.
On topic, Katsuki Bakugo was by far the most irritating person to ever walk the face of the earth, with a temper hotter than molten plasma and an ego larger than all the gods combined.
He believes that he’s the hottest of shits because his quirk is so aggressive and powerful that no one could ever come close to his overall potential.
Izuku also believed Katsuki wouldn’t be able to be defeated because he possesses the sheer talent for combat however when the greenette first gained the power gem and inadvertently seared the leather infinity glove onto his hand.
The greenette felt that Katsuki was becoming an over exaggerated spiky buttplug with a inferiority complex so large that he can’t accept someone else being more powerful than him, because then he will bitch and moan and constantly show vulgar profanities at anyone who dares to mock him.
During the time, Katsuki was astonished beyond all hell that the worthless Deku that nearly got killed for trying to save the explosive boy from the slime villain was now jacked.
Izuku never muttered during class though that wasn’t much since he did mutter sometimes but out of habit then anything.
The explosive quirk user also noticed that outside of class, he wore different outfits which showcased his highly jacked body which detailed months to maybe even years of physical training, yet the explosive boy instantly knew that Izuku did NOT have that amount of time to get such a body.
Katsuki knew instantly that Izuku never went to any gyms nor did the blonde boy view the greenette having any physical manual labor jobs.
So left the question on how the ‘Deku’ managed to get such a build.
Next up for the blonde man to wonder was that golden glove on his right hand which the leather looked like it was painfully seared onto the boy's flesh with the only decoration being the slightly dulled red gem that seemed to have been melted into the index slot of the glove which was odd in itself.
Lastly, the ash blonde boy had witnessed Izuku during one of the days after school that an admitted beautiful brown haired young girl in a different school outfit was waiting at the gates which Izuku approached her and left with the girl who quickly hooked onto his arm.
Katsuki Bakugo was absolutely furious that this quirkless Deku had the audacity to start strengthening himself for the obvious U.A entrance exam then somehow ended up getting a girlfriend.
That was the last straw and the explosive blonde now needed to force Deku back into his place then take his woman for himself because the quirkless runt was too powerless to have her.
One week till the entrance exam.
Izuku was sitting on the stone brick stairs as he took periodic sips of the soup cup that was handed to him by a girl who genuinely loved, the greenette would love anyone who overlooked his quirkless nature.
Izuku was wearing his new image outfit like he usually does after school because it exposed his new body and image to the world while the basic school uniform somehow surprisingly hid his body to make him appear scrawny again, it was a clothing mystery to the gloved boy.
“Just one week left Kinoko then we can work to be heroes together” The gloved man said to the brown haired woman who also was sipping lightly of her own soup, she nodded at him with a determined look on her face.
“Yeah…together, we just need to work hard enough to stay together” She responded as she had grown extremely attached to the greenette and will not be separated from him from any method “I heard t-that U.A has recently set up a housing system for the new year”
Izuku looked over curiously at the mushroom woman “Housing System?” the infinity glove user asked as he was unsure of what that meant since some of the hero academies like Shiketsu has on campus dorms to keep students on school grounds but these dorms are usually centered around their hero course which has a 30% acceptance rate, over 300 students are picked for their course to help belch out more heroes into the world.
If the U.A School is considered to produce the best quality of heroes, then Shiketsu would be known for its quantity to help reduce crime in Japan and in the world.
Kinoko nodded at this after finishing up her own cup before adding more from the thermace situated beside her “Yeah, the schools principal ‘Nezu’ did a public announcement at the end of the school year which he stated ‘With the concerning rise of crime in Japan, U.A has implemented student housing to help protect the students of U.A and teach them independence’ essentially these are actual houses built in U.A or repurposed some buildings and made it into livable houses to promote independence”
The green haired glove wearer seemed to nod and was impressed by the level of tactical thinking because crime did suddenly decrease around a year after All Might moved into the Shizuoka Prefecture but it was at a low unseen in years, crime and villain attacks still happened but those were isolated incidents but organized crime and large villain groups became quite when All Might moved into the prefecture.
“Does Principal Nezu know what will happen if he puts hormonal teens together in the same house or does he plan to separate by gender and year?” The greenette asked as he finished up his soup cup to hand it back when the Mushroom quirk girl took it quickly.
Kinoko puts away the thermace into her burlap bag then answered the question “Of course, a lot of controversy popped up when he mentioned co-ed housing and a lot of people are worried about a bunch of teens cooped up without adult supervision, sex, pregnancy and even rape were brought into attention but the principal simply said something that shut them all up”
“That would be?” Izuku asked while looking over to which the brown haired school girl started leaning onto the greenette in a loving way.
Kinoko giggled lightly after watching the press event “He said ‘Adolescent Children will do what they want when discovering themselves, let them explore such things in a safe and controlled environment but the U.A Staff will intervene in any sexual assault, so long as two or more are consenting adults then no action will be taken’ Mr.Nezu really tore into the press on this” The girl giggles even more from this.
Izuku also started to chuckle and believed it was warranted as the news people only seem to chase stories that will earn them the big bucks, but they, like any shark that smells blood, would have to fight for such stories and they usually are pissy when people like Nezu, a creature whose IQ is significantly higher than most humans, told them to shove it and said kids will be kids.
“That he did, that he did…” Izuku said as his soon descended into a minor frown thinking bad is going to happen but he couldn’t figure out what, during the 10 months of training and dating, Izuku developed a form of danger sense until that sense started screaming which caused the greenette to quickly grab Kinoko, who was deeply surprised, and jumped forward in a burst of speed cracking the concrete and an explosion had occurred breaking the concrete stairs.
Izuku quickly turned around while putting the mushroom girl down and behind him in an effort to protect and calm her.
The mushroom girl was shaking deeply as the sudden attack, though looking towards her boyfriend for comfort, to see him glaring at the sudden event with unwavering eyes and such a look brought her a lot of comfort knowing she can rely on him for protection if need too.
Izuku’s eyes glared down at the perpetrator of exploding his previous location and it was someone that the green boy was ready against but didn’t think it would take 10 months for this douchebaguette to attack him in his failed attempt to push the ‘Worthless Deku’ back into his place “Really Katsuki? A sneak attack? What happened to being the ‘Best Hero’? Hmmmm? I thought ‘Sneak Attacks’ and ‘Ambushes’ were beneath you and fighting face to face was the only proper way a hero should fight” Izuku exclaimed as he slowly raised his glove in defiance of his school Bully, Katsuki Bakugo.
The ash blonde man sneered as his goal was to hit Deku in the back and send him into the ocean before forcing the girl out of the area, but the greenette dodged his blast and how he destroyed the stone stairs ‘Dammit! Has Deku already been this fast? No no he couldn’t, even if he trained for years then it wouldn’t have mattered because the speed of an explosion is faster than humans without quirks then how did he know I was about to attack’
The explosive man slid down the rubble of the stairs and glared at the greenette who seemed to return the favor “You think you can stand against me Deku? You’ve grown too happy and annoying for my taste but I kept watching to see how much you’ve changed, a strong body and a girlfriend? It doesn’t matter because you will always be useless so I’ll beat you down right here and show that annoying extra just how pathetic you are!” The ash blonde boy shouted as he charged forward as sparks popped off his right hand, extending it with intent to seriously hard the greenette.
Izuku however didn’t allow the attack to do so, so he brought up his left arm blocking the explosive strike though the ask blonde gave a dark smirk knowing Deku hadn’t changed much if he was too much of a bitch to dodge.
Katsuki’s smirk soon fell when the dust settled and Izuku stood their defiantly while blood dripped from the explosion that connected with his arm, and in a split moment, The greenette surged forward grabbing the ash blonde boy by his face with his gloved hand, specifically the jaw line.
Izuku stood there with a dark stare like the ash blond was staring at someone else then the useless Deku “Katsuki, you pride yourself as the top of everyone because you have the strongest quirk in our age group but here’s the needed reality check, your NOT the strongest and your ego is going to kill any chance that you’ll have to even be in the top 10 rankings, your more likely to be #2 with how you act but Endeavor however has the intelligence needed that he shouldn’t let his emotions to get in the way of being a hero”
The grip on the ash blonde boy's jaw started to increase and the greenette eyes and words started to descend into darkness “Eight Pounds of pressure…all I need is eight pounds of pressure to completely rip your jaw off your face…” however Katsuki started to look in horror as he felt the strength of the grip only to be dropped on the ground when Izuku glared down even more heated “but I won’t, I plan to become a hero and I’ll be using my infinity gems to do so, I’ll show the world even a quirkless bastard like myself can do what others thought was impossible, I’ll prove you and that hypocrite All Might that I can be a hero”
Izuku then steps past the ash blonde with the woman following close behind leaving the beach and Katsuki to think to himself.
Izuku sighed as he ran his leathered hand over his face, muttering that he shouldn’t have let his anger control him nor should he have threatened to remove Katsukis jaw.
Kinoko was silent for the time before grabbing his shoulder “Someone you knew?” She was obviously worried for how the greenette had acted, especially when he was such a sweetie to her and quite frankly, to a lot of other people.
Izuku turned to her though nodding at the question “After discovering the power gem, I was a Deku, useless as Katsuki had meant, and therefore being useless meant I have no claim to my own future. He did everything in his power to ensure I felt powerless as possible and he probably would’ve sexually assaulted you if I hadn’t interfered”
The woman shut her mouth to a thin but noticeable frown like she was worried for him and his upbringing, though Izuku himself actually didn’t want to change anything from his past because then he wouldn’t have found his Power Gem nor would he have met Kinoko.
“…do you want to have a sleepover with me and a few of my friends?” The mushroom woman offered in a rather quiet tone.
Izuku stared at her in amazement “B-But don’t you live with your parents?” He asked as he doesn’t want to feel the rage of an overproduction parent, Inko Midoriya fits quite nicely in that category.
Kinoko shook her head “They rented a hotel room for me and said that I should be close to U.A High when they open their doors for the Entrance Exam, my family works a lot and I'm too far from the school” she explained her situation to the greenette.
Izuku seemed to nod though, raising an eyebrow as a mental thought hit him and a smile soon stretched “You said friends, is this going to be a hen party or are you planning an orgy.”
The mushroom woman would eep and blush deeply at the glove wearer and quickly spoke up “N-no! N-not that kind of s-sleepover! Just a couple of girls and guys, n-nothing of a sexual n-nature” Kinoko stuttered heavily, having slowly gone back into her stuttering habit.
The greenette simply laughed at her expression though shaking his head lightly “It’s fine Kinoko, sure, I’d like to meet these friends of yours! I gotta check out the competition if they are vering for your affection like I am”
The mushroom woman would be blushing even more but smiled knowing that Izuku would fight for her affection was one of the many things that Komori loved about the greenette “I-I’ll text you the address of the hotel, come by before the start of school tomorrow and we all can walk there together” And after a hug between the two, Kinoko quickly runs away as if to prep for the end of the week.
Izuku watched her run away with a deep smile on his face. “What did I do to get a woman that great to pair up with a Deku like me…” He said as he still doesn’t believe that he somehow got Kinoko to be with him before walking away and the greenette deep within his thoughts.
