Chapter Thirty-One:
Mage Battle Against Imposter:
September 28th, 2017:
2:00 AM:
Shiro was lying on his bed in his room, trying to rest. Keyword, trying. However, Shiro was still wide awake. All he did was lie on his back, staring at the ceiling. Puck, on the other hand, was fast asleep and snoring. You would think that Puck's snoring would keep Shiro awake, but he did live with him at one point. So he was familiar with Puck's snoring.
No, what kept Shiro awake was his intimate moment with Christina a little over an hour ago. Shiro got to see some action without repeating what happened in the previous chapter, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Since that intimate moment, Shiro has been struggling to sleep because whenever he closes his eyes, he instantly sees Christina's beautiful nude body.
'No! Stop it! Stop thinking of Christina!' Said Shiro in his thoughts as he shook his head, 'You like Cassandra! Cassandra! Think about Cassandra!'
Shiro closes his eyes and begins to think about Cassandra instead of Christina. He sees Cassandra wearing her pink summer dress. However, that pink dress began to disappear, and a naked Christina appeared beside Cassandra. He was now seeing both Cassandra and Christina naked together. Their breasts… firmly pressed together.
Shiro places his face onto his pillow and screams at it. Thankfully, screaming at his pillow muffled the volume so Puck and the girls didn't hear it.
'Damn it, I'm so horny! I just can't forget about it!' Shiro thought to himself.
That night, Shiro didn't get any sleep.
Meanwhile, in the girls' rooms, Christina was having similar problems as Shiro. She tried to sleep for an hour, but every time she closed her eyes, she would only picture Shiro in her mind. Fully clothed, of course, but those clothes would eventually fade away, revealing his amazing toned body and incredibly hard erection….
'Ahhhgggg! STOP IT!' Christina mentally screamed, shaking her head, 'I can't be thinking of SHIRO like that! We've already established that we don't like him, so why are you suddenly going back on your word?! Well, of course, that was before I jerked him off to get him to calm down and felt his incredibly hard… erection!?
'NO! STOP IT! STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!'
Christina planted her face into her pillow and screamed into it. Thankfully, the pillow muffled her voice so Cassandra, Alyssa, and the boys couldn't hear her cries.
'Stupid Shiro, I'm horny! Why can't I just forget about him?!' Asked Christina herself.
To put it simply, Christina was not going to sleep tonight.
September 28th, 2017:
8:00 AM:
It was morning in England, and our heroes were beginning to make their way to the Stone Hedges, where the girls wore some fresh clothes.
Cassandra was wearing a light blue short summer dress. The dress showed off half of her cleavage and sported her breasts, so there was no need to wear a bra. Although her dress did support her breasts, it was loose enough to let them bounce whenever she walked or made any sudden movements. The summer dress was supported by a strap behind her back. If that strap were undone, her breasts would bounce out for everyone to see.
We also see that her summer dress only came down slightly below her hips, meaning it barely covered her crotch and could only cover the upper three-quarters of her amazing round butt. Looking up at her skirt, we see she is wearing milky pink panties. If Cassandra bent over, her dress would slide above her butt. If she raised her arm, it would raise her dress five centimeters above her panty strap. If she were to raise both her arms, it would make her dress rise ten centimeters above her panty strap. She was also wearing pink flip-flops.
Alyssa wore a milky pink t-shirt, a dark blue mini-skirt, and flip-flops. Christina wore a dark blue t-shirt that barely covered her belly and a jean mini-skirt while wearing her black shoes. We see that her t-shirt is barely covering her bellybutton. Christina occasionally works out, and although she has some muscles in her arms, she has no muscles in her belly since she doesn't do any workout routines. Due to this, Christina has a bit of a belly and has an upside-down tear-drop bellybutton since it was nice to rub and feel. And since she isn't ashamed of her belly, she wore her mini-skirt at her hips.
If she raised one arm, her shirt would rise five centimeters above her bellybutton. If she raised both arms, her shirt would rise ten centimeters above her bellybutton.
However, after they checked out and left the hotel, Shiro and Christina let out a long, loud yawn.
"Geese you two, you look exhausted," said Alyssa, seeing Christina's and Shiro's tired state.
"Yeah, did you get two any sleep last night?" Asked Cassandra.
"Um… After 'that experience,' I couldn't sleep a wink," said Christina as she nervously chuckled. She glanced at Shiro, revealing his flustered face.
"Oh, yes, well, I was watching a very exciting 'show' on the TV last night, and I couldn't stop thinking about it," said Shiro in a flustered tone.
"Bullshit," coughed Puck onto his hand, which Christina blushed and looked away from Shiro.
"Were you watching porn?" Alyssa asked.
"NO! But… It might as well have been," Shiro was flustered at this point, and Puck was trying hard not to laugh.
"Was it an Erotica?" Cassandra wondered.
"A-Anyways," Shiro coughed, "Changing the topic, I'm going to get some coffee, do you girls want anything?" Shiro tried his best to keep a cool head.
"Y-Yes, I want a hot cup of coffee, with lots of 'cream and sugar," said Christina, hinting at what happened last night.
Shiro's face turned red, and he began to feel hot when he remembered the experience with Christina when she brought it up.
"Um… Yeah… Sure," said Shiro, using his shirt to cool himself off, "Um… Do you girls want anything?" Shiro asked Cassandra and Alyssa.
"I'll have a double-double," said Cassandra with a straight look. She was confused when Shiro turned away. "What?" She asked.
"Nothing," Shiro replied quickly, "What about you, Alyssa?" Shiro's voice cracked, and his face turned even redder.
"I'll have a Frappe with extra milk please," said Alyssa with a straight face.
"Oh come on! You girls are not making it easy for me!" Shiro exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" Asked Cassandra, not understanding all the innuendos they were unknowingly making.
"Nevermind! I'll… I'll go get your coffee. See you in a few," said Shiro as he ran to the coffee shop.
"Hey, what about my coffee?" Puck asked as Shiro ran off.
"What's with him?" Asked Alyssa, confused as to why Shiro was acting so nervous.
"N-Nevermind, let's not worry about him right now! Let's go to that shop we talked about last night while we wait for our coffee," Christina exclaimed. "I don't want him to see us like this."
"See us like what?" Asked Alyssa.
"Don't worry about it! Let's get going!" said Christina, her face beaming red. She pushed Cassandra and Alyssa along, Leaving Puck all alone.
"Kids these days are all too horny, I swear," Puck muttered while shaking his head.
Meanwhile, Shiro waited in line for his order in the coffee shop, trying not to think about the experience he shared with Christina last night.
"Are you okay sir? You look like you had a rough night last night," said the woman behind the counter.
Shiro looks at the barista with a mixed expression, "I had a night, that's for sure."
"What do you mean?" The barista asked.
"I… I don't even know… Um… How long is my coffee going to be?" Asked Shiro, trying to keep a cool head.
"About five to ten minutes. Would you like to sit down and cool off, sir? You look stressed," she offered.
"Stressed?!" Shiro exclaimed. "I feel more 'relieved!' But sure, I'll take your offer!"
"Um… Okay… You do that," the woman barista muttered, "weirdo."
Shiro then sits, tries calming himself down, and takes a big breath.
'Okay, calm down Shiro. What happened last night was only a chance of a lifetime. It's not going to happen again,' said Shiro in his thoughts and groaned. 'This is gonna be a long day.'
"It seems that fate has plans for your future, boy," A man wearing a hooded set of robes laughed behind him. He sat behind Shiro with his back facing towards him so Shiro couldn't see his face near the window of the shop. And he had a deck of tarot cards in the corner of the table.
"What do you mean?" Shiro asked the hooded man.
"You drew 'The Hanged Man,'" The man showed the cards he drew. "You're quite the selfless individual. Willing to make sacrifices to make others happy at the cost of your freedom. It's quite a difficult path to follow."
"How do I know you didn't just pull that card from the center of your deck?" Shiro questioned, skeptical of the 'Fate' of cards.
"Well then, would you care enough to test your fate?" The man motioned to the deck. "Go ahead and see if you can change it."
"Sure," Shiro sat up and walked over to deck the tarot cards. And then he drew 'The Fool-Reverse' card, and the man snorted.
"You have relationship troubles don't you?" The way he asked was more of a statement than a question.
"No, I'm single," Shiro replied.
"You don't know anything about tarot cards, do you?" The man sighed. The Fool—Reverse card doesn't just imply a romantic relationship. It suggests the bond you share with others, like your friends, colleagues, and co-workers."
"I see," Shiro muttered and thought back to Cassandra and the girls. "Well, I guess I've been having trouble with one person in my group of associates I'm traveling with. I don't know how to feel about her."
"Have no doubt, boy. I'm sure things will work out for you in due time," The man chuckles. "The Fool- Reverse only suggests that you and your partner may be too immature to be in a romantic relationship right now."
"Sir, your coffee is ready!" Said the woman barista.
"Oh, coming," said Shiro as he stood up.
"Remember boy, fate is not set in stone, as long as you continue down your path. The thing will work out for you in the end. I'm sure of it." The man laughed as he left the store.
"What a weird guy?" Shiro muttered, staring at the hooded man's back and leaving the store with drinks.
Meanwhile, the girls were at one of the stores, buying stuff they'd need for their trip to planet Mundus, especially some shaving cream and razors since they had no idea how long they'd be there.
"Okay, I got the shaving cream and razors," said Alyssa as she looked at the cart. Is there anything else we might need?"
"Maybe some food?" Asked Christina.
"Speaking of food, we haven't had breakfast yet," said Cassandra.
"We may as well get a bite to eat," said Alyssa.
"Okay. Shiro is probably waiting for us with our coffees anyways," said Cassandra.
"Well, if you two are done shopping, let's pay for this stuff and head out," said Christina.
"Agreed," Alyssa and Cassandra nodded.
The girls paid for their items and met up with Shiro and Puck.
"Hey Shiro, you didn't wait too long, did you?" Asked Cassandra.
"Nah, I just got back." Shiro handed a black coffee to Puck, who grumbled thanks. He sat on the bench reading the newspaper. Patiently waiting for the group to return.
"Don't mind me, just minding my own business." Puck grunts, sipping his coffee. "You kids do whatever you need before we leave."
"We're thinking of grabbing something to eat, wanna come along, Shiro?" Cassandra asked.
"Um, S-Sure." Shiro stuttered. He couldn't quite calm his thoughts about Christina, especially how she kept throwing side glances toward him as she drank her coffee.
"Just what we needed to start the day," Alyssa sighs blissfully, enjoying her coffee before turning to Christina. "How's your coffee, Christina?"
"Delicious." She replied while looking at Shiro and licking seductively.
"I-Is that so?" Shiro coughed his hand as he turned away.
"Are you okay Shiro?" Cassandra asked as she placed the back of her hand on his forehead. "You're not sick from that plane ride, are you? I have some Tylenol if you need some."
"Thanks," Shiro exclaimed, pushing her hand away, his face flustered as he looked at her chest. Damn, his hormones. He just couldn't think straight around these girls anymore. "But let's get some food, and then I'll be fine."
"If you say so," Cassandra muttered in concern.
They sat at the table; Shiro sat across from Christina beside Cassandra, and Alyssa sat beside Christina.
"Oh wow," Christina said, taking as she took her sausage from her plate. "This sausage looks to be five inches long," she said, looking at her sausage and winking at Shiro.
Shiro blushes hard and tries to look away, but when he sees Christina eating her sausage seductively, it is hard not to look. She winks at him, puts it in her mouth, and sucks on it as if she were giving it a blowjob. Just then, the scenery turns black. Shiro was naked, standing up, and Christina was also naked, giving Shiro a blowjob. Christina began licking all over his length while also rubbing it. She giggled when she felt Shiro getting harder and began to suck on it again.
However, before Christina could continue…
"Hey, Shiro?" Asked Alyssa.
This made Shiro snap into reality and quickly turn back to Alyssa with a sweaty face.
"Y-Yes?" Asked Shiro, stuttering as he looked at Alyssa.
"You okay? You haven't eaten much of your breakfast, and your face is all sweaty," said Alyssa, worried for Shiro.
"I guess I'm so tired that I don't have much of an appetite," said Shiro as he nervously smiled, but his stomach growled.
"Sounds like your stomach disagrees with you," grinned Christina.
"Yeah, well an 'organ' doesn't boss me around," Shiro replied sharply." I feel like I'm gonna 'erupt' if I eat anymore."
Christina began blushing hard, remembering how Shiro came over her belly last night. Cassandra narrowed her eyes, staring at Shiro and Christina.
"Seriously," Cassandra spoke up. "You two have been acting strange since this morning."
"I thought it was strange too," Alyssa leaned over. "But those two haven't argued all morning."
"Let's just say we 'came' to a mutual understanding." Christina smiled. "We'll try to get along for the 'rest' of the trip."
"Well, mutual isn't the word I'd use," Shiro muttered. He leaned back with a baffled expression and winced when Christina kicked him under the table. "T-Though. I do hope that we can 'understand' each other better during this trip."
"Indeed," Christina nodded while looking away, flustered. Shiro refused to look at the girls while his face was red.
The sexual tension was strong between these two.
"Hmm," Cassandra narrowed her eyes. "As long as you two are getting along. I suppose it's fine. You two are my friends, if you have any issues we can always talk things out."
"T-Talking, right! That's always a great way to grow 'closer' isn't that right?" Shiro deflected.
"Indeed," Christiana repeated, not bothering to take the bait.
"Weirdos," Alyssa muttered under her breath. She leaned closer to Cassandra, "Maybe we shouldn't force them to get along. It's almost too quiet now."
"Absolutely not," Cassandra replied. "Look at how well they're behaving. We should've done this sooner."
"I'm sure we can settle this manner like perfectly functional adults," Shiro muttered. "It's not like we want to pick a fight with each other."
"Good," Cassandra nodded. I'm glad we solved this matter peacefully without 'escalating' it further.
Shiro coughed, nearly choking on his drink.
"What?" Cassandra asked.
"N-Nothing," Shiro shook his head. He honestly couldn't tell if Cassandra knew the innuendo she was saying or if she was just messing with him intentionally. Best not to think too much about it. "Anyways, I think the first order of business we should do is-" Shiro accidentally knocked his fork under the table.
"Shit!"
Shiro then goes under the table to get his fork back. Still, as he does so, he sees that Christina's legs are halfway open, allowing him to see her jean mini-skirt and dark blue panties.
When Shiro sees Christina's panties, his face turns bright red as he remembers the previous night. He grabbed the sharp end of the fork and jumped up with a sharp cry, hitting his head on the table in the process.
"OW! Son of a-"
"Is everything okay Shiro?" Cassandra asked.
"Yeah," Shiro rubbed his head and grabbed his fork. I went to stand up only to forget that I was underneath the table," he replied, telling a white lie to cover up the real reason why he bumped his head.
"You seem quite 'distracted' today," Christina teased. "That 'Show' must've left quite an effect on you."
'Oh, could you not!' Shiro nearly screamed in his mind and stood up from his chair. "It certainly left quite the 'impression', I need a to-go box please!"
"Finished already?!" Alyssa exclaimed. Shiro wasn't gluttonous, but she'd never seen him leave a meal unfinished.
"I'll just save the rest for later," Shiro smiled weakly. "We'll be on a bus for a few hours after all. You girls finish without me, I'll wait for you outside."
"Sure," Cassandra muttered and frowned as she watched him leave the store. This trip must have been more stressful on Shiro than she thought. Being forced to go back home after his race was wiped clean. She couldn't even begin to imagine the pain he must be grieving. There had to be something she could do to help relieve some stress off him.
And that's when the idea struck…
Shiro walked out of the restaurant tired and was greeted by the cloudy weather in the sky. Between the sexual tension between the girls, being chased by the cops like wanted criminals, and being chased by assassins, he wasn't really looking forward to seeing what became of his home. He was anxious, and the weather perfectly mirrored his anxiety.
*Sigh* "I'm really not looking forward to going back. God knows what my home looks like now," said Shiro in his thoughts.
"Hey boy, you look new. Are you a tourist by chance? You look like you have plenty of money," said a thug as he walked up to Shiro. He froze when Shiro turned around and threw an intimidating glare at him, But he didn't freeze up because of Shiro. No. A rather large dark-skinned man stood behind him with an ominous aura around him, cracking his knuckles as if daring him to come closer.
"AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH! IT'S A STAND USER!"
Shiro stared at the thug with a baffled expression, watching the thug hightail away, pushing the other pedestrians out of the way.
"What the hell is a stand!?" Shiro exclaimed.
"That's what you're worried about!?" Puck exclaimed. "Not the fact you were almost robbed?
"Oh, hey Puck, when did you get here?" Shiro blinked when he noticed the giant man standing beside him. "I wasn't really worried about him, I could've taken him out if I wanted to."
"I know you can, kid." Puck signed. "Look I know when you're hiding your true feelings behind that oblivious smile, you don't have to pretend around me."
Shiro smiled strained but stayed silent as the rain poured on them. Puck signed, holding out an umbrella for the both of them.
"You're not gonna find anyone there, kid." Puck said with a somber tone. "I know your holding on to hope but you have to-."
Cassandra, Christan, and Alyssa left the restaurant with their umbrellas in hand. They heard a familiar voice shout off in the distance as they chatted.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ME?!" Shiro shouted. He grabbed Puck by the collar and dragged him to his knees, glaring at him. "I KNOW WHAT I SAW, THE THING I EXPERIENCE! WHY SHOULD I EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO MOVE ON FROM ALL OF THAT!?"
People backed away in fear as Shiro managed to grab a large man like Puck. Some even ran as the fight broke out on the street.
"Stupid stubborn brat!" Puck growled. He grabbed Shiro by the collar with his spare hands and slammed him to the ground, Much to the girl's shock.
"Stop it right now!" Cassandra demanded. "Why are you two even fighting!"
"She's right," Christina nodded. "Now's not the time to fight among ourselves."
"Can't we all just get along," Alyssa pleaded.
"Shut up! And stay out of this," Puck roared. Causing them to flinch. Puck huffed and looked at Shiro, struggling to escape his hold. "I know it's painful, but you mustn't dwell on the things you've lost. What's gone is gone. But you still have things worth protecting, don't you!?"
Shiro trembled in his arms as tears fell from his eyes. His eyes drifted to the group's girls, from Alyssa to Christina and Cassandra. He wiped away the falling tears but couldn't stop them from running. And he gave Puck a somber nod.
"U-Umm," Shiro muttered. "I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about," Puck grunted as he stood up and helped Shiro up his feat. He backed off the moment he spotted Cassandra walking towards them. Shiro turned around to greet her but was slapped across the face.
"Ahh!" Shiro winced, rubbing his cheeks. "Yeah, I deserved that-"
Shiro was also surprised when Cassandra pulled him into her chest. His face turned red as she embraced him into her heavenly bosom.
"Cassandra?"
"Just shut up and let me hold you," She muttered. "Idiot, Shiro! Making me worried like that!"
"Sorry," Shiro's eyes softened, and he hugged her back.
"You better be," She muttered.
Puck grunted as he turned away. He smiled, seeing how Shiro was surrounded by companions. It put him at ease, knowing he wasn't alone anymore.
"Isn't this a bit excessive?" Shiro laughed nervously. He and Puck walked around the bus area wearing a variation of the Dunce hat. Cassandra crossed out the 'Dunce' and replaced it with 'Lack of common sense.'
Needless to say, it had people whispering among themselves while pointing at them.
"I have no idea what you mean?" Cassandra deflected. "You promised me not to cause any more trouble, and went and broke your word, I believe this more than a fitting punishment."
"Ah well, you see," Shiro scratched his head sheepishly. Puck gave him a nudge.
"Kid, take it from me. You're fighting a losing battle." Puck grumbled. "Just accept your fate and let's move on."
Shiro turned to Alyssa and Christina with a pleading look, but they both looked the other way. As much as they wanted to intervene. They knew better than to upset Cassandra.
"Just how long do I have to wear this?" Shiro asked with a pouty face.
"Until you learn not to be an idiot!" Cassandra replied.
"Trust me, I've been trying to teach him for years. But it doesn't seem to be getting through his thick head," said Puck.
"It was a stupid mistake, okay?! Even a rational person can have a stupid moment."
"Okay, that's enough, both of you. Let's catch the bus before it passes. I don't want to wait here for another hour," Puck said.
"Where is the bus anyways?" Asked Christina.
"I wish I could use my phone to use google maps to see where it was, but SOMEONE insisted that we leave our phones back in Christale City!" Said Cassandra, still mad at Shiro.
"I told you, the police could track us using our phones. If we brought our phones, we wouldn't have been able to make it to the airport," said Shiro.
"But do you have any idea how much that phone cost?" Asked Cassandra.
"It's not going anywhere, Cassandra. It's perfectly safe in Puck's bunker," said Shiro.
"A perfect place to gather dust," said Alyssa.
"Dust isn't going to destroy your phones, believe me," said Shiro.
"Can we, though? Can we really?" Asked Christina.
"Look, there's no point in questioning about it now." Shiro replied, crossing his arms defensively. "We're already in deep waters, whether or not you trust me is irrelevant to the fact we're all wanted criminals. There's no turning back at this point."
"Funny you should say that, but I'm not a criminal," Puck reminded Shiro. "At least not anymore," he said under his breath.
"Ever heard of criminals by association?" Asked Shiro.
"…Fuck."
"Hopefully, after we get back and calming the treasure, we can all clear our names," said Alyssa.
"That's part of the plan," Shiro muttered. "We just have to survive first."
"Hey, I think I see the bus coming now!" Said Cassandra as she pointed at the upcoming bus, making her breasts bounce, which Shiro got to enjoy for a brief time.
Still, he couldn't help but feel something was off. This was almost too easy. Were they really going to make it to the Stonehenges without an incident? Shiro glanced around, trying to sense any aura from the surrounding area. But didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
"What's wrong?" Christina asked. She stood behind after noticing Shiro halted from the group.
"Nothing," Shiro muttered. He shook his head and walked ahead. "Just my imagination."
The bus pulls over, allowing Puck, Shiro, and the girls on the bus. Cassandra was the first to enter the bus, Puck and Alyssa afterward, leaving only Shiro and Christina. Christina was still behind Shiro and motioned him to enter the bus. When Shiro took the first step to enter the bus, he began to feel… Off…
'It seems fate has crossed our paths once again?' Spoke a voice through Shiro's mind.
That's when Shiro's face turns paler than his default look. He had heard that voice a long time ago… back on Mundus.
"Shiro, is everything okay?" Christina asked. She noticed Shiro fading in and out of existence.
"Shiro?!"
She quickly grabbed onto his arm, and he and Christina suddenly disappeared without a trace, shocking everyone on the bus, including Cassandra, Puck, and Alyssa.
"SHIRO! CHRISTINA!" Cassandra panicked in shock.
"Where did they go?!" Alyssa exclaimed.
"I swear, I wasn't drinking!" said Puck, shocked at what he witnessed.
Meanwhile, in the middle of Snowdonia National Park's grassy field, Shiro cracked open his eyes and felt his head resting on something soft and squishy.
"Am I on a bed?" Asked Shiro. He turned his head, and the first thing he sees is Christina's bare naked breasts, realizing he was resting his head on them.
When he got closer, he saw Christina's naked body since she was wearing nothing but her red panties. Either he stripped Christina when he fell on her, or her clothes were left behind when they got teleported to this unknown location.
"Can't you girls keep your clothes on for more than five minutes?" He muttered under his breath. He really did find her attractive. If only she wasn't repulsed by him.
When Christina regained her composure, she saw Shiro on top of her, with her legs wide open and wearing nothing but her red panties. Even her shoes and socks were gone, with her feet bare.
"The fuck?!" Asked Christina, her face beaming red.
"Oh good, you're awake. For a minute, I thought you had a concuss-Ack!" The next thing he knew, he fell face first, clutching the side of his cheeks. "Okay. Y…Yeah! You're mad... I totally deserved that one,"
"I can't believe you would strip me at a time like this!" Christina exclaimed as she slowly stood up while covering her breasts.
"You think I stripped you?! You were like that when I regained consciousness," said Shiro, trying his best not to check Christina out.
"Then why were you on top of me?! And why are you the only one who's still wearing clothes?!" Asked Christina as her breasts jiggled inside her arms.
"Okay, first off, I was already on top of you when I regained consciousness. Secondly, I don't fucking know!" Shiro answered.
"That's because Shiro was the intentional target. You were the unintentional one," A voice told Christina.
"Great, I'm popular. I'm so thrilled," said Shiro sarcastically.
"Wait, who said that?" Asked Christina, looking around.
The skies turned black, and a thunderstorm began to brew. But there was no rain, only thunder and lightning. Just then, a pool of a black void appeared before them, and a familiar face began to rise above the void. It was Chrome, wearing a black robe.
"Long time no see, Shiro," Chrome smiled, seeing his long-time student.
"Chrome! I should've known you survived!" Shiro glared as he made a fist.
"Shiro, I'm disappointed. I know it's been six years, but truly, you haven't forgotten my real name, have you?" Chrome asked with a grin.
"You know this creep, Shiro?" Christina asked.
"He should. I was his teacher back on Mundus," Chrome grinned.
"You're not my TEACHER! I mean, he technically was… But… you technically weren't… It's complicated!" Shiro tells Christina. He then looks at Chrome, "What do you want?!"
"What do you think I want, Shiro? I've been sent to kill you," Chrome smiled maliciously.
"Oh great, another assassin! I should've known. You know, you would think that Lex would have gotten the hint after I single-handedly defeated all of his other assassins!" Shiro exclaimed, sounding rather annoyed.
"Oh, I assure you. I'm not going to be like those assassins—you're going to fly by with the use of science! Science will not be enough to defeat me," Said Chrome as a dark purple aura surrounded him.
"What the hell?!" Asked Christina, shocked at what she was witnessing.
"Christina, stand back! He's dangerous!" Shouted Shiro.
"Try not to die too early." While laughing hysterically, Chrome laughed and powered up to his maximum power, and a dark purple aura exploded around him. The shockwave was so powerful that it sent both Christina and Shiro flying.
When Shiro and Christina got far enough, Christina landed on her back, making her breasts bounce and juggle. Shiro landed face-first on her soft and squishy breast, breaking his fall.
"Kyaa!" Christina smacked Shiro with full force, pushing him away. "Of all the places to land, Shiro!"
"I'm sorry, it's not my fault!" He cried out. He jumped out of the way as Chrome flew past them.
"Having fun in the middle of Battle? I thought I taught you better!" He pointed his fingers at Shiro. Recognizing the spell, he was about to chant. Shiro rushed towards Christina.
"No, don't!"
"Gather, and come forth from the void, O Thunder spirits, and cut down my enemy! Axe of Lightning."
"Air Shield!" Shiro sleds in front of Christina, holding out his hands. Thunderbolts had rained around the surrounding area. Slamming into his shield as he gritted his teeth in pain. Air shield was a fragile, flimsy shield made of air, but as long as he poured enough aura into it, he could at least protect Christina from the spell.
The shield shattered and dispelled back into the ether when the spell finally died. Shiro fell to one knee, exhausted and panting. And the palms of his hands were charred.
"My, my, Shiro, exhausted already?" Chuckled Chrome.
"What are you talking about? I can go all day," said Shiro, catching his breath while clutching his hand and using bravado to cover up his weaknesses.
"Bravado can only get you so far, Shiro. Eventually, your actions will be required to back it up," said Chrome as he slowly walked toward the duo.
"Christina, run! Get as far away as possible! I'll hold him off!" Shiro exclaimed, trying to get back on his feet.
"And leave you by yourself? Are you crazy!?"
"I can't fight and worry about protecting you at the same time." Shiro replied. "Every assassin has been after Cassandra so far. If I die, then you're the only one left that can protect her!"
"Y-You better not die on me, you promised to take us to Mundus together!" Christina exclaimed.
"You got it!" Shiro lifted up his hands and weakly gave her a thumbs up. And with that, she turned around and ran for the hills without covering herself up, making her breasts bounce with each step. If Chrome was interested in chasing her, he didn't show it. Instead, he stared down Shiro with a smirk on his face.
"All by your lonesome self once again." Chrome taunted. "This time, you won't have any friends or family left to save you. Do you really think you beat me on your own? You have neither the talent nor the skills to take me down."
"We'll see about that!" Shiro growled. He clenched his hand and concentrated on his aura. Projection, he needed a weapon. And not just any weapon. Something that can protect Cassandra, Christina, and Alyssa. The alteration gives it shape from the image in his mind, sharpening its edge. Analyze it down to its core components. A blade that can defy the laws of magic. Structure complete: Reconstruction of gravity blade forged.
"Seyaaa!" Shiro roared and swung down with all his might with one hand.
"What!?" Chrome jumped back, summoning a barrier of his own. Much to his surprise, Shiro had cut right through it like butter. He slid back and tumbled a bit. He traced his thumb across his cheek and felt a cut trailing along it. "T-That blade… it can't be!? I thought I destroyed it?"
Trailing down Shiro's right hand, he clutched the blade tightly. The gravity blade was a black katana sword; it wasn't necessarily long. But a decent 60cm in size. A small, decorative dial with a Yin and Yang symbol was on its handle.
"Don't get the wrong idea," Shiro exclaimed. "This is nothing more than a cheap imitation compared to the real sword. But it should be more than enough to kick your ass!"
"Kick my ass, you say!? Don't make me laugh," Chrome snarled. "You're nothing more than a dead-beat failure, you couldn't even protect your home. Not even Lailah."
This triggered Shiro. How dare he say her name to him after what he had done to her. "I've made many mistakes in the past," Shiro admitted somberly. I was too weak to save anyone. That's why I've been training all these years. I won't let you get away a second time!"
"Then you can join the rest of your kind in the afterlife! At least I let them exist in spirit form!" Chrome summoned his sword and charged with lightning. He swung for an upper slash. "Splitting Rapture!"
"1000x Flamberge!"
Shiro leaped into the air, his katana covered by flames. He gathered as much energy as he could into this attack. And slammed into Chrome's blade with enough force to split the clouds in the sky in half.
Their clash was felt throughout the earth by those sensitive to energy, from Xyaqom to Brad and Scarlet.
Meanwhile, back in Christale City, Kyle was in the library at Vincent College studying with Shelly when he felt the huge surge of power washing over him.
"That power…" Kyle muttered with a fearful look, "It can't be…."
He hadn't felt that dark power in years.
"Is everything okay, Kyle?" asked Shelley, who heard Kyle muttering. She couldn't understand what he was saying.
"Oh, it's nothing Shelley, just trying to figure out this word problem," He lied easily. It was a good thing they were doing math homework, making it a convenient excuse. Though the clash was brief, he did recognize the other combatant's energy.
…Shiro.
With Brad and Scarlet.
"Wha-What was that negative energy!?" Brad stuttered.
"I don't know." Scarlet shook. "It was even stronger than dad's power."
"Then whoever's fighting it, must be equally as powerful," Brad noted. Despite the fear lurking inside him, his voice hinted at excitement. Something Scarlet noticed and picked up on.
"Don't tell me you're interested in fighting them." This was more of a statement than a question, and Brad had the decency to smile sheepishly in response.
"Well," He scratched his head. "Between my Dad, and myself. There's not a whole lot of strong fighters on earth."
"Trust me Brad." Scarlet stared off into the sky. "You don't wanna get between these two."
Though she didn't recognize the negative energy, she felt like she had met before, though she couldn't recall where.
Meanwhile, in London…
Splitting clouds wasn't exactly a normal site. Even more so when you knew exactly the cause of it. You didn't need to sense energy to figure that out. With a heavy sigh, Cassandra glanced at the passengers on the bus holding out their cell phones. No doubt this will be on the news tonight, so much for subtlety.
"It's Shiro, isn't it," Alyssa stated. It was a rather blatant statement, one that everyone agreed with.
"Yep definitely him." Puck nodded.
"No doubt." Cassandra groaned and pressed against her seat, damn it, Shiro! Why must he always make me worry? "You both better come back to us alive," she muttered.
Christina was having trouble running on the grassy terrain without shoes. She was nearly naked, with no way of covering herself up. She wasn't even covering her breasts as she ran, so with each step she took, her breasts bounced. We also see that her pink nipples were at their hardest, with the cold atmosphere around the area since Shiro and Chrome started fighting.
Christina felt humiliated running around, all exposed, but what could she do against a mage. She trained her body to protect Cassandra, but this was beyond anything she could muster. So why did it hurt so much? Shiro, whom she had known for only a few days, had protected her. And now he was fighting that same monster while injured, all because she was too weak to help.
There must've been something she could do.
"My word! Is this the end of the world!?"
Christina stopped running when she heard that voice, making her breasts bounce more before stopping.
Out of her eyes, a man was standing by his truck wearing a straw hat. She turned around, making her breasts swing to the left before settling down to see who this person was. From how he dressed, he worked in the fields, wearing blue dungarees and a short-sleeve white shirt. A farmer, perhaps? It didn't matter to her. What did matter be the vehicle behind him?
Because he was distracted staring at the sky, she could easily swipe the keys from his back pocket. And took his assault rifle lying on the ground and pointed right at the farmer.
"Hey, what the-"
She twisted his arm behind his back, pushing him to the ground with a growl.
"Do not turn around, don't make any sudden movement. And you might walk away with your limbs intact." She cocked her stolen rifle with a threatening tone.
"Alright, alright! What do you want with me!?"
"I want your dungarees." She whispered, her face flustered with anger.
"My what?"
"Your pants! Gimme your fucking pants! Do I have to spell it out for you!" Christina fired off two shots out of frustration, purposely missing to give him a slight scare. "Next shot won't miss. Now strip!"
"O-okay, O-okay!" The chubby farmer stuttered. "Just don't look, it's embarrassing."
'That should be my line!' Christina wanted to yell out.
After stripping down and handing her the dungarees, the farmer had enough decency to cross his legs and cover his junk.
"There you got what you want, now leave me alone!"
"We'll see," Christina exclaimed the article of cloth and processed to dress with relative speed. While still exposing some skin. It was enough for her chest, thankfully. She still had his keys to the truck, so she slowly made her way toward it without making a sound. "If you dare peek at me while I change, I'll shoot you."
It was, of course, a lie. She was already dressed. Though she needed a quick distraction while she made her escape.
"How long does one take to change clothes?" The farmer wondered as he heard the engine from his truck turn on. "Huh!? Hey, what the hell! That's my car!"
By the time he turned around. Christina had already driven, leaving him alone and naked. He tried running after her but crossed his legs to cover up his junk and fell over.
"Grk! This day can't get any worse!" He muttered to himself.
The sounds of metal clanging and clashing echoed across the fields of Snowdonia National Park. Shiro and Chrome glared at one another. Their blades sparked as they traded fury of blows. Shiro managed to push and parry Chrome's last attack. Chrome staggered back and gritted his teeth as Shiro's blade cut through his skin. A shallow wound, but it was very noticeable on his cheeks.
"See ya!" Shiro roared as he swung, but Chrome quickly held out his hand, using gravity magic to pin him to the floor.
"Useless!" Chrome exclaimed. He saw the opportunity to parry Shiro's attack and continued his assault relentlessly. "Useless, useless, useless!"
Shiro grunted, blocking each attack. Chrome slashed from above with enough force to push him back. Shiro held his blade over his head. He doesn't have much time left. Sooner or later, he'll run out of aura. But he can't get past Chrome's defenses. That's when he glanced at larger boulders out in the middle of the field, and the idea came to him.
"Die!" Chrome gathered over 100 lightning arrows. And flung them at Shiro.
"Shit!" Shiro exclaimed. Trying to avoid the arrows, He ran, ducked, dodged, jumped, and flipped to get to the boulders. Once he arrived, he took cover from the Arrows that rained on the area.
"Try all you might, but you'll never be able to outrun my arrows!" Chrome laughed. Unaware of Shiro hiding his presence within his attack. With the area covered in dust clouds, Shiro, exhausted, wiped his forehead and groaned. He glanced down at the blade amidst the commotion. He didn't have much aura left to sustain his stamina. Maintaining his projection, magic drained a lot more energy than he anticipated. One big strike is all he's left, and he's got the perfect idea to pull it off.
"Come out, come out wherever you are, Shiro. I promise I won't bite… Hard…" grinned Chrome while looking around his surroundings. "You can't run away forever!"
"Like hell, I'll ever run from you!" Shiro dashed out from behind the boulder. Chrome threw a charged lightning blast towards his way. Shiro threw the sword at Chrome with all his might in a last-ditch effort, letting Chrome's attack pierce his chest.
"What?!" Chrome exclaimed in shock and tilted his body to dodge the blade. "Well, that was just mildly annoying. If that was your effort to impress me, that was highly disappointing."
"Hehehe," Shiro laughed while coughing up some blood, "You know, the real Chrome always said for a mage to look beneath the hidden meaning. Maybe you should follow that advice."
"For someone on death's door, you sure do talk a lot." Chrome raised his hand in the channeling with lightning. "Don't worry, I'll be sure to send you off with lots of pain and suffering."
Just then, another Shiro pops up behind Chrome and stabs him in the chest. Chrome didn't scream or shout when Shiro stabbed in the chest; he was more shocked than anything.
"What?! But how?!" Asked Chrome in shock.
"That was for Grandpa and Lailah, you son of a bitch," the Shiro behind him told him with a cold glare.
Chrome couldn't believe it; he had just been outplayed. But how. How were there two Shiros? It didn't make any sense. But then, he saw the Shiro standing before him fade away, "An afterimage?!"
Shiro then pulls the blade out, blood pouring out of Chrome's body and Chrome falling to the ground.
"It's rather simple! Projection and Alteration," Said Shiro as he put the blade on his shoulder, "Combining those two elements together creates an illusion of my own creation."
"But what about your sword! Truly you couldn't recreate an Artifact with those two elements alone?" Asked Chrome as he was coughing up blood.
"It doesn't matter what I did to get my sword. You know why? Because you're dying. Or should I say," He then points at Chrome with his sword, "This body is dying."
Chrome chuckles, "Splendid work Shiro. If you were to put that knowledge together during class, your grades would've been much better."
"..."
"I look forward to our next meeting. The next time you see me, I'll be in a… Fresher body," laughed Chrome, as his body crumbled away in ashes, leaving behind a dark purple mist, sinking into the ground.
"What is this foul magic? Is this Lex's doing or was that the true form of that body snatcher? Too many loose variables to make assumptions at this point." Shiro then looks around the ruined battlefield, "Well that stuff is not important right now, what is important is…Where the fuck am I right now!?"
No later, after Shiro said that, he heard a horn honk behind him. He turns around and sees a pickup truck stopping near him.
"Christina?!" Asked Shiro in shock.
"Don't just stand there, get in!" Ordered Christina, which Shiro does so that they take off.
The ride was bumpy. This was Christina's first time driving a stick-shift vehicle, so it required much more attention than an automatic. It didn't improve anything, as Shiro held on for dear life.
"You know, I never thought I'd say this, but am I happy you came back," Shiro said gratefully.
"What, you think I'd just abandon you after you saved my life?!" Christina replied.
"What? No. I mean… Yes… I mean… "Shiro said, his face turning red, "What I'm trying to say is: I'm glad you're here! I thought I would have to walk my way back."
"You're welcome, by the way. I could've just left you and have you walk back to the Stonehenge and go to Mundus ourselves."
"Ha, as if you could operate it without me! You guys would just be standing there with your thumbs up your ass. You have no aura to even open the portal!"
Christina's hair covers her eyes, feeling rather foolish. How could she forget?
"Anyway, this is an off-topic question, but…." Shiro said as he looked at Christina's farmer overalls, "Are you cosplaying as a farmer?"
"This isn't cosplaying! These are the clothes I happened to pick up!" Christina exclaimed, her face beaming red.
"Please tell me you didn't?" Shiro asked, which made Christina's head sink in shame. "Oh my God, you did, didn't you?"
"Oh shut up! You'd do the same thing if you were practically naked in the middle of nowhere!"
"Naked? I'm pretty sure you were wearing panties when you ran off."
"I said practically!" Shouted Christina.
"I mean, when you really think about it, you were wearing panties. So, technically, that would mean you were just topless," said Shiro.
"Look, can you just drop it! It's already embarrassing that I was like that when we got here! The last thing I need is for us to discuss my nudity!"
"But it will be fun!"
"Yeah, for you! Just drop it! Okay?! Or else you can walk the rest of the way to Stonehenge!"
"Oh, alright, fine," said Shiro as he rested his head on the seat, "By the way, do you have the slightest idea where it even is?
"It's called reading the signs," said Christina, pointing at the incoming sign saying, 'Stonehenge, 207 Miles away.
"Oh, well, ain't that convenient."
"Anyways, what happened to that Chrome guy?" Asked Christina as she continued to drive.
"He's dead. Or at least, the body he was in did," said Shiro in an emotionless tone. "I don't even know how to begin to explain it."
"What do you mean?" Asked Christina.
"Remember when I said Chrome was my teacher, but he wasn't at the same time. When I said that, I meant that the real Chrome has been dead for a long time now, and the Chrome I fought just now, was a body snatcher."
"A body snatcher?!"
"Yes. And to make matters worse, I don't think we've seen the last of, 'It.' The body snatcher."
"Why do you call it, 'It?"
"Because I don't know what to call it. I don't know if it's true form is a man or a woman, or why it's doing this. However, before the body of Chrome bled out, he said that he'd be back with a fresher body. And that's what scares me."
Christina said nothing, as she didn't know what to say or if she should say anything at all.
The rest of the trip to Stonehenge was long and uneventful, as Shiro and Christina said nothing to each other on the way there.
"God, Cassandra, must be sick about us. We have no phones to contact her, my clothes were left behind, and I'm worried that this truck will have enough gas to get us to this location!" Christina said as she was driving.
"We could always just steal another vehicle." Shiro chimed in from the passenger side.
"I thought you wanted us to stay low and not cause a commotion!?"
"Only until once we get to Stonehenge." Shiro shrugged nonchalantly. "It's just a suggestion. Not asking to commit to anything."
"Thank you very much, but I'd rather keep a low profile. Getting these clothes and this truck was already bad enough!" Christina exclaimed.
"All I'm saying is there's not much to worry about." Shiro replied.
"And why do you say that?" Asked Christina.
"Because we're here." Shiro pointed to a large, unique structure of stones that formed a half-circle.
Lady and gentlemen, we've arrived at Stonehenge.
