Thank you for reading my story. 8D
I\'d like to thank a few people:
Miyamashi played a huge role in some of the scenes in this story. Many times, as I wrote myself into a hole, we would role-play possible scenarios until I found one that I liked. Also some scenes had their genesis completely in role-played ideas bounced between us. As a result, a significant chunk of Mello\'s actions, reactions and dialogue came from her mind, not mine. That said, she cannot be solely blamed for Mello in this story. Due to the pressures on Miyamashi\'s time, she has (at the time of writing) read only to chapter 5 of Poisoned Rationality. Unwilling to give her spoilers, she therefore didn\'t know of some of the considerations that would have been in Mello\'s head. Therefore I may have taken her direction, as needful, and altered it. Also there are even more chapters that weren\'t role-played and therefore are completely mine. It would be fascinating to see if people can spot the joins. :p *wraps my arms around Morgie\'s neck, then smirks up at her*
Nine Lives (aka Spoiled-kitten, aka Xizarx) did the cyber equivalent of grabbing this story out of the waste-paper bin; then sitting me down with a Nintendo DS and a pot of tea, while she read it. She has the patience of an absolute saint, especially when I\'m being an emo pain in the arse. Under her encouragement in a constant stream of DA notes, I sat for eight hours one Sunday and re-arranged the order of most of the chapters, then rewrote about a third of them. I would probably have scrapped it completely and rewritten it as a totally different story (which is, of course, a recipe for me getting bored and nothing being produced at all), if it hadn\'t been for this woman\'s innate diplomacy, kindness, motivation and courage in telling me what does and doesn\'t work. It was published today because she read the final chapters and told me that it\'s safe to do so now. {{{{hugs}}}}
Anda-chan leapt in to rescue one scene, when Mello became too unruly for me to handle. She translated The Keehl Mind to me, which is always helpful when he\'s gone off on one.
Kyokutoh-Saizensen for the wonderful motivational poster he did for me, to prompt me to write this. It was Cyberpunk and had rocks in it! Pwnage!
Mad Hatters Hare for joining me in surreal, dirty conversations involving aardvarks. *leaps up and points ala Phoenix Wright* YOU know you did. Corrupting my innocent, pure mind like that...
