Chapter 34
‘afterglow’
Touya woke up stiff with alarm, heart pounding away inside his chest, and no idea why. A fresh morning breeze swept through the open balcony doors, ruffling the drapes on Yue’s canopy bed, and after a few heartbeats Touya’s muscles relaxed. It was a dream, he knew, something about antlers again. For a week he’d seen them in his sleep, but hell if he knew why. It was always the same pair, tall and multipronged, jutting proudly against the sky; the image was stuck vividly in his mind. If there was anything else to the dream, any explanation or reason for the antlers, then it slipped away when he woke. All he was left with was a uneasy feeling he’d just been through something very disturbing.
He was lying on something warm – or rather, someone. In his sleep Yue’s lungs rose and fell with a steady rhythm, his peaceful expression in stark contrast to the wreck he’d been last night. Who would have thought the great, ice-cold Yue could cry? Touya supposed he ought to feel vindicated, especially after what Yue had done to him down in the dungeon, but the reason for the tears only bothered him. Who would have thought the great, ice-cold Yue could love someone so much?
Touya shifted his position to lie completely atop Yue, and began to nibble on an earlobe. Beneath him Yue stirred and smiled, more so when Touya’s lips moved to his neck.
“That feels quite nice.”
“It’s not so bad up here, either.” His lips moved southward, nuzzling Yue in the hollow between neck and shoulder, then traced a path down his chest to close over a nipple. Yue sighed happily and combed his fingers through Touya’s hair, arching his chest up to meet his mouth. Touya abandoned his body for Yue’s mouth, and each tried to make up for lost time in a long delayed kiss.
“I’ve missed you so much, Toya,” Yue breathed, upon breaking contact. “I was so afraid that you did not miss me.”
“Don’t be stupid. Of course I missed you.” Touya returned his attentions to Yue’s skin, and this time Yue moaned.
“It has been so long…”
“Don’t I know it.”
“I will have you every way that I want, today. You will not leave this bed.”
“Try to keep up with me,” Touya taunted maliciously, and sat up so he could pull off his shirt. Yue’s eager hands helped, then went for his pants, while his lips went to work on Touya’s neck. He was too desperate to settle for just kissing, of course, and Touya clutched at him when Yue began to bite and suck. Not for a second did it occur to him to mind. Yue’s gaze was half-lidded and a rich violet in color, which Touya had learned to associate with pleasure and lust. Yes, Yue’s attention would be all on him today.
While Yue ravaged his neck Touya slipped his hand between their hips, curling around Yue’s arousal and stroking it, grinding his hips against Yue’s to increase the friction. Yue moaned again into his shoulder, and allowed Touya to push him back down onto the sheets. Ripping open his robe the rest of the way, Touya continued to massage and fondle the erection while dropping kisses everywhere but there, until Yue was bucking and tearing at the sheets, begging for relief. At the merest touch of his tongue to the tip, his anguished groan sounded like sweet triumph.
“You are cruel, slave,” Yue panted.
“You’re the one that taught me how.”
“Know that I will – oh! – be punishing you later.”
“Sure you will.”
Touya swirled his tongue around the straining flesh and then took it completely in his mouth, savoring every cry of delight. After all that, and so many days without any sex, it wasn’t long before Yue climaxed into his mouth. He choked it down and sat back, pausing to wipe a sheen of sweat off his brow.
“Fantastic,” Yue murmured, after catching his breath. “You have indeed learned your lessons well.”
“Yeah well…” Touya licked a fingertip and wiggled it over the tip of Yue’s limp penis, prompting a shudder. “You know what a quick student I am.”
“I do. Come here.” Yue pulled him down to join him on the sheets and they locked together in a fresh round of kissing, rolling back and forth across the bed for a while before Yue turned him over and pulled him up to his knees. “Your punishment, slave,” he whispered into his ear, “your least favorite position.”
One hand pushed his face down into the sheets, his hips still high in the air. Indeed it was the most degrading, vulnerable position and Touya had always hated it, but hate had strange meanings during sex. Sometimes it was what he hated that sharpened his arousal the fastest, and sometimes he was sure Yue knew it. One hand slipped around to fondle and stroke his stiff erection; the other, as Touya knew, was coating himself in a lubricant of slick semen. In preparation he gripped the sheets beneath him, every breath tearing out of his lungs hot and heavy as Yue’s masterful handwork pushed him closer to the edge. He climaxed almost violently, and while still in the throes of ecstasy Yue entered him. Touya locked his jaws shut against the instinctive yelp, breathing deeply as Yue had taught him, and within moments he was moving with Yue’s rhythm. It took longer this time, as Yue had already climaxed once, but still it came. Both of them fell forward, sandwiching Touya neatly between the mattress and Yue.
“Oh, Toya… that was simply divine.”
“Mm.”
“You are even more delicious than I remember.”
“Glad to hear it.”
He closed his eyes and concentrated on getting his breath back, not easy with Yue’s weight spread over him. A fingertip was tracing a pattern on his back.
“It pains me to see these,” Yue lamented, and he realized he was outlining his new scars. “If I had the power of healing, I would take them back.”
“They’re just scars. I’ve got others.” Touya braced his hands against the bed and pushed, tumbling Yue off his back. “Did you think I was done with you? Because I’m not. I am just getting started.”
“Morning, little slave,” Ralen sang, upon opening her cage that morning. “Are you still – oh my, I think you must be running a fever now.”
“I am?” Sakura turned quizzical eyes up to her overseer as she stood to leave her cage, feeling slightly exposed under his stare. “No, sir, not at all. I feel fine today.”
“It has to be a fever,” Ralen objected. “There’s this odd… glow on your face.”
Sakura blushed and fought to smother a smile, keeping her eyes firmly on the floor.
“No, sir, it isn’t a fever. I’m over my illness and ready to go outside again.”
He stuck a hand to her brow and frowned when he realized she was right. “Are you sure there’s nothing wrong with you?”
“Yes, sir, I am feeling absolutely fine.”
More than fine. Much better than fine. So wonderful, in fact, that she was sure she might start leaping about and singing any moment. So it was a relief when he shrugged and took away his hand, and led her to breakfast.
“You’re glowing,” was Syaoran’s first comment, when Ralen was out of earshot. “You need to stop that.”
“I’m not!” Demurely Sakura smoothed her hair and tried to kick back that smile again, but it just wouldn’t go away. “I’m just smiling, that’s all.”
“You’d be visible at night,” he corrected, but he was smiling too. “Still no second thoughts, I guess?”
“Of course not!” Sakura scanned their surroundings and pounced on him with a hug, kissing him quickly. “I’m the happiest girl in the world right now.”
“Yes, anyone can see that. Even my horse can see that. You’re gonna have to tone that glow down.”
“It will go away eventually.” Sakura skipped underneath the trees and leaned over to check her reflection in the fountain. “Anyway, I’ll take this over how you look. Poor Syaoran, your face still looks terrible.”
“Damn nosy cousin.” He humphed when he sat down in the shade, pressing his fingertips gingerly against a bruise. “Looks pretty bad under my shirt too. Don’t worry, I gave as good as I got.”
“It’s a frightful way to argue, isn’t it?”
“I guess.” He produced a tin of yellowish cream and rubbed some onto his cheek, wincing. “That’s just how we like to talk things out.”
Sakura sidled up next to him on the grass, all sympathy. “Can I help?”
“Sure. Be gentle.”
Sakura didn’t have much nursing experience, but she had long experience in dealing with skittish animals. Tenderly she rubbed the sharp-smelling cream into his purple flesh, cringing with every grunt of pain.
“What is this?”
“Marigold extract mixed with comfrey pulp. Disinfects and takes down swelling.”
“How do you know about this?”
“Mother taught me. I don’t care about plant lore and didn’t enjoy the lessons very much, but she was right that I would need it someday. I get my fair share of scrapes.”
“I think it sounds fascinating. Would your mother teach me?”
“Sure.”
“Is she very wise? You talk about her knowing so many things.”
“Wiser than most.” He grimaced. “And she knows it.”
She’d covered, or at least she was pretty sure she’d covered, all the bruises on his face. “Shall I, um, that is, should I… take care of your chest as well?”
Syaoran raised his eyebrows. “Now you’re blushing and glowing.”
“I’m not!”
“You are.” He leaned forward, with an expression that was both troubled and curious. “It’s not an act, is it? How can you be so shy when you’ve… done so much more?”
“I don’t know.” Sakura fiddled with her hands, embarrassed. “Maybe because you’re a man.”
“She’s better than me, isn’t she?” Sakura’s eyes flew open with surprise, and he looked away. “She’s a trainer, right? A professional. And here I am, with my rough hands and smelling like a horse -”
“But I like your rough hands and the way you smell!” Sakura interrupted anxiously. “I really do. You’re the only one I ever wanted to touch me. I’ve liked you the most ever since we first met.”
“Really? Why? I wasn’t even nice to you.”
“Maybe so, but you were the first person I’d met since my kidnapping that didn’t stare at me, or touch me like I was an object. It was such a relief at the time, and meant so much to me. That’s why I fell in love with you. And it’s because I love you that I blush when you’re near, and get all tingly when you touch me, and daydream about our future when we’re apart. No one else. Only you.”
Syaoran looked a little taken aback at her impromptu speech, but not at all displeased. “Wow. Okay.”
“I won’t do those things with Tomoyo anymore.”
“Sakura, she’s your friend -”
“And you are my future husband.” She tipped forward and pecked him lightly on the lips. “If I can be, I want to only be touched by you.”
“Thank you.” If she’d had any doubts, the relief in his brown eyes dispelled them immediately. Tomoyo was her best friend, but this was so important to him. In her heart, she knew this was the right thing to do.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Sakura’s heart fluttered at the words, and she knew she was glowing again. To distract herself, her fingers dipped into Syaoran’s tin again but could only find traces of the cream still clinging to the edge.
“Oh, you’re out of your medicine.”
“Damn it.” His fingers had been working on a shirt button, but now they dropped to his lap. “I left the rest upstairs with your brother last week. Guess you won’t get to put your hands on me after all.”
“Syaoran!” She turned bright pink and gave him a little shove. “Don’t talk like that, it’s so embarrassing!”
“I could still put my hands on you…”
“Maybe I won’t let you!”
“Maybe I won’t take no for an answer.” Playfully he tickled her until she was helpless with laughter, and a very gentle – if calloused – hand slipped beneath her neckline to cup her breasts. To be in love, Sakura decided, was the most marvelous feeling in the world.
And she was going to marry this man.
Touya and Yue were working on their fourth round when a diffident knock came through the door; reluctantly Yue pulled away from Touya’s kisses.
“Enter.”
Touya tugged the nearest sheet up to ensure it covered them both to their waist, guessing it would be the breakfast Yue had ordered up some time ago. Instead, much to his irritation, it was the kid that opened the door and stepped in. Instantly his face turned scarlet and he whipped around.
“Oh! I’m sorry, my lord, I didn’t mean to intrude. I didn’t think anyone would be here.”
It was obvious enough in the tense set of his back that he was horribly discomfitted; Touya snorted and rested his chin on Yue’s shoulder.
“And yet you are here,” Yue pointed out calmly. “What is that you need, captain?”
“I, uh, suffered a small injury and I need the medicine I left here last week. If you’re through with it…?”
“I’m through with it,” Touya answered dryly. “Hang on. No peeking.”
“Don’t worry about that,” the kid muttered. Smirking, Touya hunted around for his pants and wriggled into them, then went looking for the stuff in his bathroom.
“Found it. Here you- holy fire and water, what the hell happened to you?” It wasn’t until he’d come closer and Li partially turned to face him that he saw the ‘small injury’, and he was too startled to hide his surprise. “Don’t tell me someone beat me to the punch. So to speak.”
Li scowled. “I fell off my horse.”
“Yeah, sure you did.”
“Can I have my ointment or not?”
“Here.” Touya moved to slap the small tin into the other’s hand, but when his skin made contact with Li’s a sickly cold feeling leapt up his arm. As if he’d been burned Touya yelped and jerked his hand away, leaving the tin to drop to the floor and burst open, scattering its contents.
“Hey!”
“Toya, what’s the matter with you?” Yue sat up straight in bed, face etched with concern, and Li knelt to try and recover what he could.
“Yeah, what’s the matter with you? This stuff is not easy to make.”
Touya had no answer for either of them. Nonplussed, he could only stand there and hold his hand to his chest, trying to make sense of what just happened and failing at it.
“I… don’t know. I just – something happened when I touched his hand.” The feeling was already fading, but Touya distinctly remembered empty. Like – like something precious had just been ripped away from him.
“Why do I suddenly hate you so much?”
“Toya!” Yue reprimanded. But the kid said nothing, as he stood, not even to sneer and mock his bizarre question. There was an alarmed, very guilty look in his eyes that said he knew exactly why Touya should hate him. Without realizing it, his hands curled into fists.
“Toya, come here at once.” Yue’s tone was flinty enough to catch his attention, and Li was backing away, putting himself out of range. Was he that worried?
“I’ll be going now.”
“You do that,” Touya suggested, and didn’t relax until the kid was out of the room with doors shut tight behind him.
“Toya, what was all that about? I’m sure you haven’t forgotten my feelings on fistfights within this castle.”
“You sure you’re the one to talk about violence?”
Yue narrowed his eyes, but chose not to pursue that line of conversation. “What happened to you? For a moment it looked like you were in pain.”
“I was. For a second. It was the strangest feeling…” Touya looked at his hand, flexing it and then closing it again, but now the memory was dim, like a dream that couldn’t be remembered after waking. “You have to get rid of that kid, Yue. He’s bad news.”
“I will not.”
“Why do you insist on keeping a four year-old as head of your guard? Even if no one ever does attack this castle, it’s absurd.”
“I have faith in the boy’s skills.” Yue relaxed against his pillows and beckoned for Touya to rejoin him, which he did. “I told you that the family of Clow’s mother was a prominent element of Terriene society. Eventually they moved west and gained considerable wealth in the Port Corryn trade industry. Their name was Li.”
Touya blinked a few times. “You mean – that Li? One and the same?”
“He is a descendent, yes.”
“Does he know?”
“Unlikely. His ancestors were greedy and bitter fools that erased Clow’s name from the family tree when they could not get their hands on his wealth or his home. Though the family still possesses more than a few magical artifacts of his make, the Lis today know Clow’s existence as only a myth. I was pleased to stumble upon him and add him to my guard; the family is by and large an honorable one that produces strong warriors. It is fitting that he serve this castle.”
Touya made a face at Yue’s high praise, all just because a drop of Clow’s hallowed blood ran in Li’s veins. Was that why he disliked him so intensely? What other reason could there be? Touya wondered, but when Yue drew him closer to resume their interrupted session he decided it couldn’t be that important. He was, after all, only a kid. How dangerous could he be?
Sakura watched her brother sit – or more accurately, tumble down onto the sofa cushions and lie so still he looked almost dead. His neck was dark with bruises and he was having trouble keeping his eyes open.
“Onii-chan? Are you alright? You look very tired – what have you been doing today?”
“Exercise,” he mumbled. “Maybe just a bit too much of it.”
“Why?”
“To prove a point, I guess.” He yawned and opened one eye long enough to look her over. “Why are you glowing?”
“Me?” Sakura blushed and fidgeted with her hands. “I’m not glowing.”
“You are, I’m squinting just looking at you.”
“Don’t be silly, Onii-chan.” His suspicious gaze flustered her, and she really wished this glow would go away already! It was proving to be very troublesome. “I’m, uh, just very glad that my stubborn brother and Master Yue are speaking again. I hated seeing the two of you so unhappy.”
“Hmph. I told you it was none of your business. And how do you know we’re speaking again?”
“I heard the servants talking about it.” He opened his eyes again just so he could roll them. “They said they could ‘hear you all the way out in the hall’. I don’t what they heard that made them so sure you were finished fighting, but they seemed to know what they were talking about. I was so happy to hear the news.”
Her brother had stiffened slightly, with an expression on his face she couldn’t quite read, then shook his head and started eating.
“So, you finally did listen to him?”
“Yeah.”
“And he told you he was sorry?”
“Among other things.”
“Well, that’s a relief.” Everything was going right, at last. Sakura beamed and tackled her dinner, suddenly hungry after a week of depressed appetite. She was finished a long time before Onii-chan, who seemed equally hungry but unable to move his arm without pausing to rest.
“Onii-chan, are you sure you don’t want me to -”
“No.”
“But -”
“I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Sakura, I’m fine. And once I go back upstairs, I’ll be able to rest.”
“Okay,” she replied uncertainly, not at all convinced but wise enough to know there was no point in arguing. Idly she rolled her feet in small circles, loosening her ankles. “Oh, Onii-chan?”
“What is it?”
“When you’ve finished, will you take me upstairs to speak to Master Yue?”
“What for?”
“I have something I want to ask him.”
His gaze narrowed. “It’s not another request for dance lessons, is it? Or something even worse?”
“Silly! It’s nothing at all, you won’t have any problem with it. I promise.”
He probably would have argued if he wasn’t so tired. Tonight, however, he just shrugged and picked up his fork again. Sakura fidgeted and played with the hem of her skirt, anxious to get this done before Ralen returned, but Touya was taking his time and obviously intent on eating every last bite. His exercise must have made him very hungry.
At last he finished and Sakura jumped up, but his normal long-legged pace had been reduced to a slow limp and it seemed to take forever to reach Yue’s suite.
With a groan he pushed open the bedroom doors. “My sister’s with me,” he announced, “so tie that robe a little more tightly, please.”
“Oh Toya, you have so little trust in me,” she heard Yue reply, from somewhere on the other side of Touya’s broad shoulders. “Do you think I have designs on seducing anyone other than you tonight?”
“You’d better not.”
Sakura was not very clear on the meaning of ‘seduce’, but the lightness of their tone indicated Yue was only teasing her brother. She guessed that he had not informed Touya about the night he spent with her, and probably never would. That was something best kept a secret.
“What does she want?”
“I dunno, she only said she has to ask you something.”
Yue was relaxing in his armchair before a fire, glass of wine idling in his hand, a picture of such polish and confidence that she could almost believe she’d imagined that night in her cage. His gaze upon her was speculative.
“It appears you are glowing.”
“Yeah, that’s what I said. She says it’s nothing.”
“It is nothing,” she maintained, though she was speaking to her brother. When she caught Yue’s eye she blushed. He was so intimidating, but Sakura had seen another side to him now and knew she didn’t have to be afraid. At last, she had the nerve to ask for something she probably could have asked for a long time ago.
“Master Yue,” she greeted politely, and dipped into a small curtsy. “I apologize for bothering you so late. I came because…”
Her brother had circled around to stand behind Yue’s chair, and was now leaning over its high back. That was not what had caused her voice to trail off, however. That would be because of the way Touya’s fingertips had rested ever so lightly on Yue’s hair. Before her eyes, he began to tease and fondle a few of the silver strands.
“Sakura?” Touya prompted, brows raised impatiently. He was looking right at her, and didn’t seem in the least aware of what he was doing.
“Uh, sorry. Master Yue, I came to ask you for a small favor. Before you purchased me, I stayed in the city with a trainer named Tomoyo…”
Again she lost her trail of thought when Yue took a quick breath and arched his back, lips parting with pleasure. Touya’s light stroking was producing a very visible effect, and he was now the only person in the room that hadn’t noticed what he was doing.
“Sakura, spit it out!”
“Yes! Um, that is, my trainer and I became very good friends. She would like to visit me, but Ralen is… reluctant to allow her because you have not given permission. I would like to ask -”
“Granted,” Yue sighed, his attention wholly focused on Touya’s touch. Sakura blinked.
“Thank you.”
“Excuse me, Lord Yue, I was just looking for -” Sakura had never closed the doors behind her and Ralen appeared in the doorway, a flash of annoyance in his eyes when he spotted Sakura. “There you are. My lord, I must protest leaving the door unlocked while the slaves eat their dinner, the girl is consistently wandering off and forcing me to track her down.”
“Ralen,” Yue murmured, his gaze now half-lidded like a purring cat, “my slave now has my permission to receive visits from her friends in the city. Such permission is indefinite until I tell you otherwise.”
Speaking of cats, Ralen’s expression looked very much like one that had pounced and missed the mouse. His mouth fell open with dismay.
“What?”
“Your caution is admirable, but I see no reason for the girl not to have company.” Almost imperceptibly he leaned into Touya’s absent fondling.
“But only girls,” Touya amended. Yue nodded.
“Females only.”
“But- but -”
“Will there be anything else, child?” Yue turned his attention back on her, ostensibly, but his breathing had become heavier. Sakura followed the motions of her brother’s fingertips with her eyes, and wondered just how generous Yue would be under her brother’s influence.
“And I would like to meet with my guest in a private room.”
“What?”
“Done.”
“With tea served.”
“Done. Anything else?”
Ralen looked like he was ready to explode, and the tension between Yue and her brother had become so unbearably thick she was afraid to stay any longer. This was enough for now.
“No, master. I am very grateful.” She dipped into another curtsy, this one much deeper, to which Yue barely nodded. As quickly as she could she fled the room, and shut the doors behind her.
“That was a lot of fuss,” Touya complained, helping himself to Yue’s lap, “over having a simple guest.”
“It is right and dutiful that she asks for my permission.”
“Well, seemed to make her happy, anyway.” Touya walked his fingers in a line up Yue’s chest, to the hollow in his neck. “Thank you for that.”
“If you are happy, then so am I.” Yue took his hand and closed his lips over his index finger, gently sucking. Touya let out his breath rather quickly.
“Why not just let her leave that cage completely? You have so many rooms.”
“My slaves sleep there always.”
“Right, because that’s where you slept as a slave.” Touya made a face, but Yue’s tongue swirling around his fingertip prevented anything like real anger. “I would have liked to see that: you, all caged up like a giant white bird. Were you naked?”
“Often.”
“Mmm.” The image was unbelievably arousing to Touya and he curled in close to Yue to suckle at his neck.
“The thought excites you, does it?”
“Definitely.”
“Perhaps I’ll take you there sometime and we’ll both be naked, on its floor.”
“And my sister?”
“Can be with her guest.”
“It’s a date.” Touya adjusted his position to straddle Yue’s lap, and moved in for the kiss. He could always rest tomorrow.
She had never seen Ralen’s eyes so cold with fury. Like gray stone chips they settled on her face and did not leave it. The thrill of victory she’d felt in Yue’s room vanished as soon as she’d left it, all alone without the strength of Yue or her brother to back her up. Nervously she retreated when he came closer, until she’d backed into a wall and could go no further.
“Bitch.”
His hand slapped the marble behind her with such force that she flinched and squeaked, though he hadn’t even touched her. “Did you think that was funny? Were you congratulating yourself on getting the best of your overseer? Think I’d just shrug it off and let you go on your way?”
“N-no, sir, I just -”
“Quiet.” She shut her mouth. “You’ve been picking up some bad habits from that prideful dancer, I think. You’re also watching your brother get away with god-knows-what and still have Yue drooling in his lap, and you think you’ll get the same treatment. No, my little slave, it does not work like that. Ask him for all the favors you like but it won’t change the fact that you are only his plaything, and when he is bored with playing then I will have you. He will not care if you scream. He will not care if you cry. He will not care if I tie you to my bed and keep you there for a week, which I fully plan on doing. And I promise you, the anger that I’m feeling right now is going to be stored away and saved for when that happens. You will regret what you just did, I will make sure of it.”
Sakura flinched again he closed the distance between them, the heat of his body hovering just over hers and almost pressing her against the wall. His nose he buried in her hair, and he inhaled deeply. Sakura was shivering by the time he pulled away.
Her glow had finally gone.
“Now get inside.” Impatiently he turned to her cage and jerked open the door; Sakura scurried in with her head bowed. “Sleep tight, little girl. Sleeping through the night is a luxury you won’t have anymore when you’re with me.”
He turned on his heels and stalked away, leaving Sakura alone and clutching at her nightgown. She was too shocked to even burst into tears, and after a few minutes of silence she was at least able to breathe again.
What Ralen spoke of… it wouldn’t happen. Syaoran wouldn’t let it. He was going to save her, and marry her, and he would never let Ralen hurt her. Sakura had faith in her conviction, and it was that conviction that allowed her to sleep. Somehow, someway, everything would definitely be alright.
Ralen raped Sakura again that night, as he had a hundred times before in his fantasies. In reality, he knew that when he finally got the girl it would be because Yue had used her, and she would no longer be a virgin. But in his dreams she was still as pure and naïve as a child, and he could see her wide and scared green eyes in his mind.
In his imagination she trembled, and begged for a mercy he wasn’t giving. She would cry when he ordered her to take off her clothes. He would have to force her down on her knees, and shove himself into her mouth. He wouldn’t mind. And then he’d fuck the girl’s mouth so completely that she’d choke on his seed, and he’d still make her swallow it. He might amuse himself spanking her, bent over the end of his bed, or maybe he’d just move on to fucking her for real, hard and fast while she sobbed beneath him. Definitely he would tie her to the bed whenever he left the room, so she would know her place, and if she wet the sheets then that was just another reason to punish her. Blindfold? Certainly. Lashing? Yes. And when he got bored, which would not happen for days, he would bring in the other girls to play with her while he watched. And every teardrop he licked off her face would taste sweeter than the sweetest wine in the world.
Back in reality, his bed empty but for him, Ralen climaxed and collapsed to his sheets. Hot and dripping in the afterglow of masturbation, he smiled. Somehow, someday. She would be all his.

Disclaimer: I do not own these characters
Wow, what an amazing flood of reviews I got for the last chapter! Readers have come down on both sides of both dramas for an extremely wide variety of reasons, making points and drawing observations that never even occurred to me, and have given me a boatload of ideas. What the hell happened to my sleazy plotless porn fic? (scans horizon) Has anybody seen it?
It would be impossible to respond to all of you, so I’ve picked Alleran’s because that was the longest one. You seem troubled, so I will attempt to answer your questions in a forthright and uncomplicated manner. Do I hate Syaoran? No, absolutely not. Syaoran is my favorite CCS character.
Touya: You said I was your favorite!
That was just so I could get you to play uke in this fic. Now scram, mommy has Author Time. Ahem, like I was saying – I do not hate Syaoran one little bit. Do I consider him wrong for what he did? Only halfway. Sakura was wrong to cheat on him, but what I probably didn’t get across very well was that Syaoran was only 50% angry about the cheating, and 50% angry about the realization that her cheating forced him to confront. And that was the reality that Sakura belongs to someone else, and as such may be forced to do things with her body that society considers shameful. Whether it was Yue or Ralen that forced her into it was beside the point; Syaoran had to face what it can mean to love a pleasure slave, and then still keep on loving her in spite of what she’s done. Otherwise, this couple would just be playing house.
Meilin, I suspect, sided with Sakura so strongly because A) she’s a woman and there’s that whole solidarity thing. B) She’s sure that Sakura is so good for Syaoran it’s worth it to stay with her even if Sakura’s in the wrong. C) She was almost caught up in the slave’s life herself, and is sensitive to what a horrible crime it is on a girl’s life. D) Knows that Syaoran will never choose her and, (as in the original CCS) is determined to make sure Syaoran and Sakura get a happy ending so that Meilin’s sacrifice won’t be for nothing.

Bound, they’re all beautiful. I like the Pleasure Slave one the most, I love the way you drew both Yue AND Touya with collars and chains around their necks. In a way they’ve become slaves of each other, and you captured that idea beautifully. Remember all, Capitalist loves Fanart cuz it feeds her ego and her muse. Contributions are welcome, and so are reviews.
Alas (and this is the last of a long-winded Author’s Note, sorry), I have had to restrict my review page to those that can sign in. I didn’t want to, but spammers were sticking Viagra ads all over my review page and it was getting so annoying. I complained to the staff, whose only suggestion was that I turn off the Anonymous option. I’m sad, because I know a lot of you don’t have accounts and I’ll miss your reviews. Maybe eventually I’ll be able to open it up again. But for now, Viagra must die. As if Yue needs any of that anyway!
Touya: Oh… so sore…
