Chapter 4: Dealing with the Devil
=========================================
The pinkish-red sun rose in the sky, and it was already getting very warm... It was going to be a day where it would get very warm to a point where it would almost be like summertime.
The purple clouds, which were colored that way because of the chemicals in the ocean of the planet, drifted across the sky almost rapidly because of the north winds.
\"Kryeeeeeeeeeeeeee!\" The Hyia Birds shrieked, as they flapped their red wings in an attempt to take off into the sky.
However, the birds just clumsily crashed into the soil of the Royal garden they lived in. The guards outside, who noticed that, snickered.
After all, the birds were like a strange combination of the peacock and the rooster... so while they looked very beautiful, they were not exactly the most graceful Aurorean creatures.
The birds could not fly until summertime, when it got so hot that they had to molt their beautiful long fan-like, plumage in the shades of red and gold that they gained over wintertime. The Feathers they shed then were great for many various methods of decorations, especially hats. To top that off, the eggs that the females laid were delicious, even when raw. This was why they were bred and seen so commonly thoughout the planet.
Yet, there were many occasions where they still tried to fly when the spring thame..me... so it was not unusual to see many of those silly birds crashing into the ground after they attempted lift-off.
That was the sole reason why the birds were so popular with Royalty; they were often a good source of amusement.
The only one in the garden that did not laugh at the birds though, was Aurelia.
Aurelia was completely tired and cranky, because she did not get too much sleep thanks to the damned nightmares she had that mainly induced where her dead brother was attacking her or the one where she dreamt that they had switched bodies on the night of his murder.
It had been unnerving seeing herself attack while she was still in her brother\'s body and feeling everything that Parie had felt that night.
Perhaps that was his way of taking his revenge on her?
She shook her head, mentally slapping herself for thinking such nonsense.
She must be more tired than she thought to even consider the possibility of ghosts. She did not believe in such foolish things like the supernatural...everything could be easily be explained by science.
She had finished her weekly morning jog though the gardens, but that was not even though to take her mind off that ludicrous thought that maybe her brother was haunting her.
Damn it... It seemed as if she needed some challenge to take her mind off such notions... The last thing she needed was her mind going crazy just as she had finally won in being the successor to the throne, thus giving her some power over the military units of this planet.
Therefore, she went in search of the Royal Guard so that he could give him a challenge. After all, the Royal Guard was often in charge of setting up events where his soldiers challenged themselves. Sometimes it was simple sparring matches, and sometimes it was something very dangerous and deadly.
Aurelia hoped that he would not give her an easy challenge just because she was the princess, gav gave her an especially dangerous one. Therefore, it would be something that she most definitely would be focused on, something else... keeping herself alive for instance. Not to mention she could definitely use the thrilling rush to keep more awake.
~*~*~*~*~*
The Royal Guard was not in a good mood neither, as seeing he too had very little sleep the other night.
So he was getting a little testy with the new soldiers-in-training, who noticed this very fact themselves. They were fidgeting nervously, because of the very fact that even though they had been only training to be soldiers for one week, the Royal Guard had chosen a very dangerous challenge for all of them.
Many of them wanted to back out, although they would not admit it for fear of getting humiliated and losing their honor. They all just hoped that they were not the first one picked by the royal guard to go face that deadly challenge...
The Royal Guard took grim pleasure in seeing some emotion of fear show though in their eyes, because damn it, he wanted to strangle an certain somebody... In addition, if he could not do that he was going to pick somebody to pick on.
The question was, who? That weakling at the end of the line with the dark navy blue hair?
On the other hand, maybe that pink-haired young man would do.
There were loud murmurs when all of the men started looking at something behind him, and he turned around. Much to his dismay, he saw that Princess Aurelia had entered the room.
His jaw clenched, for he was trying not to lose it right there.
\"Lea da ha ona yo ur\'eia... Lona\'re? {{What do I owe for this... honor? }}\" The Royal Guard asked, hoping that it was not too obvious that he had to force that last word out, as if it tasted so vile in his mouth to be used when related to Aurelia.
Aurelia grinned when she saw what the Royal Guard had set as a challenge for his men. The Royal Guard did not disappoint her after all... especially when he had thst dst dangerous Aurorean beast in captive, in the very same room.
The aforementioned dangerous beast was a Sidron... a fully matured one.
A Sidron was pretty much like a giant snake... and it full feathery scales were about the size of a human hand... and this adult Sidron was so big, that it could easily wrap itself around a one-story house with no problems. From the looks of this Sidron, it must have lived for hundreds of years to get that big.
Sidrons also have bird-like legs and feet, along with a pair of large wings. Atop the giant snake-like head was a feathery Mohawk...much like the top of a parrot\'s head.
If it attacked something, like a human, it mouth would had gotten big enough to shallow the human whole... if it didn\'t impale the humans with the giant poisonous fangs.
The Sidron was a famous creature throughout the planet Aurora, forever since the Auroreans could walk upright and take the first breath of life on the planet.
It was often believed that the Sirdons were nearly immortal, since they could live for as long as 2,000 years... that the Sirdons was the servants of Kerie, The War-God.
In aion,ion, it were said that the warriors who managed to tame one and ride atop them during battles, were to become one of the greatest leaders of Aurora.
To manage that, was to also prove your own strength to the others... to forever earn you some respect amongst your peers... that is, if you did not die.
Even if you did die, you would still be remembered amongst the people for your bravery and the nerve in actually undertaking such a dangerous challenge.
That was why attempting to tame the Sirdon was so popular amongst the warriors and teenagers, even if there was better rides today... such as the Hovercyle, and the sheath fliers.
\"What such a beautiful yet deadly creature. I see that you are going to have your trainees attempt to tame this graceful creature...\" Aurelia said, in the Aurorean tongue, \"But... how about letting me do it. Let me show them how it\'s done.\"
Aurelia was extremely pleased, as seeing the royal Guard had not failed her expectations of giving her something challenging to do.
The Royal Guard was about to protest, but then thought better of it. After all, this would be one way to attempt to kill the princess for revenge, without raising all sorts of questions. The Sirdon would be the vessel for the justice done in the name of Prince Parie.
\"If you say so, your highness. May the moons watch over you and ensure your success...\" The Guard replied, not really meaning the last part. He secretly hoped that she would fail.
There was loud and amazed murmurs in the big room, as the princess walked towards the Sirdon.
The Sirdon started hissing in warning, as it noticed Aurelia walk towards him. The vivid ice-blue eyes gazed upon Aurelia\'s own eyes with such a intensity that Aurelia could feel her heart start to thump faster... for that was indeed the gaze of a very deadly beast.
It started struggling against the ropes that bound it down, and some of the ropes snapped, unable to take the force of the Sirdon\'s strength.
It then moved about more freely, the long and giant snake-like tail that had feather tips at the end, knocking the displays of armor and weapons over.
It opened its mouth, it mouth stretching open to very large portions, revealing how much big his mouth could really get. His tusk-like, curved fangs extended, venom dripping off the tip.
He then bent down towards Aurelia in a very threatening manner, his mouth still open. He let out a loud hiss... that almost sounded like a roar.
Much to the amazement of the trainees, the ferocious display that would have made a grown man wet his pants did nothing to faze Aurelia at all.
In fact, Aurelia seemed to be... smiling.
The Sirdon spun around, to attempt to send the princess flying with his tail. Aurelia let out a war cry, as she leapt 10 feet into the air. She managed to land on top of Sirdon\'s back, much to the amazement of everyone... inducing the Royal Guard.
The Sirdon started bucking and shaking violently, trying to shake the royal pest off his back.
Aurelia clung on, and managed to climb high enough so that she could latch on top the back of Sirdon\'s head...
Then it turned into a wrestling match of wits and will between the deadly beast and the princess. It was then all the ropes snapped, so that the Sirdon was now truly free, with the expectation of the clinging princess.
It started flapping its wings, creating powerful gusts that knocked some of the trainees down. It started wagging its\' tail more violently, causing chaos and a big mess behind him.
It bucked and shook even more, almost like a horse...
It hissed loudly, deeply pissed off now... because it did not like to be confined in such a small space, and to be touched by somebody that it did not deem as worthy. However, it seemed as this small brown-haired creature was stronger than it looked... it was holding on with such a strength.
He saw a trainee in front of himself, and hissed at him with his mouth open.
The trainee shook with fear, unable to move at all. He was too scared to think at all, now that the Sirdon was free. This turned out to be fatal for him, since the Sirdon\'s mouth clamped down on him... venom pumping into the small body. Sirdon then tossed him aside...
The trainee flew across the room. Then la fac face down, for he was now dead. The venom might not have killed him instantly... However, the giant fang that went though his heart had done it.
The other Trainees then ran out of the path of the Sirdon... for they valued their life more than they did bravery and honor at this moment.
The Sirdon gave one last violent lurch, trying to shake Aurelia off. It was then that the Sirdon saw the big window, and then ran towards it.
Everyone let out alarmed cries when they realized what the Sirdon was up to, but it was already too late.
There was a loud shattering noise of the glass-like substance, as the Sirdon took to the sky. This had caused half of Aurelia\'s clothes to be torn away, and she was scratched very badly.
However, She still stubbornly held on, determined to tame this beast or else. She felt so alive than she had experienced before. It was like a type of deadly thrill, which she could not even get enough of at all. After all, taming this beast had now become a matter of life or death.
Everyone rushed outside, to watch the deadly spectacle.
The Sirdon\'s blue wings spread wide open, as it flew into a fast circle to attempt to shake the princess off.
It then broke the circle, and started flying erratically as Aurelia was now using her arm strength to pull Sirdon\'s head back into an arm-lock. The The Sirdon spun in the air, and it was then that gravity got the best of Aurelia here.
As much as she held on with all her strength, Sirdon\'s feather-like, warm scales caused her to lose her sweaty grip.
Aurelia gasped, as she realized that the ground was above her head, and the sky at her feet. She was falling headfi At At this rate, she would die... unless she did something.
She felt a rush of energy flow though her body suddenly, and then she smiled to herself. It seemed as if the Aurorean Hari she had with her was now kicking in, and working for her.
Without wasting any time, she called out: \"Aurora sphero pawa! {Aurora Planet Power!}\"
She was then engulfed in a bright light, and she could feel even more power surging though her body, nearly overpowering her like a tidal wave.
Her body also felt very lightweight, as if she now weighted nothing more than a feather.
Then she felt something body tight cover all her privates, like a silken fabric, that was forming itself on her body.
It was then covered by a light, metal-like armor on her upper body, mostly around her shoulders and chest.
The same happened with her feet and hands, and then the light disappeared.
She was now dressed in a body tight, foreign-looking fighting uniform, which to most present-day earthlings would have looked like a feminine sailor suit, but with a weird twist. For one thing, it seemed to be a two-piece uniform, with only ribbons connecting both the top and the skirt together.
She wore fingerless gloves, and a mask.
Aurelia, now in her Sailor warrior form, twisted in the air... and as she got towards the ground, she actually managed to land right on her own feet!
She then wasted no time in jumping up into the air, towards the Sirdon that was now flying away.
Before, she would had only managed to get high enough to go over a first story building... since that was the normal strength of an trained Aurorean... but now it was as if she was actually flying.
It looked and felt as if she was flying, instead of merely using her super powered legs to jump to super impressive heights.
God, She loved the power... it was worth the trouble of killing her own brother, and having to deal with the stupid nightmares!
This was what it was like to be a true sailor warrior.
The Sirdon hissed in surprise when he saw the princess, now somehow different... seeming as if she was flying fast right at him! Even though she had no wings at all any that, he could see.
The creature got the wind knocked out of him when the new sailor warrior formed her hands into fists, and pretty much landed flying fists around his stomach area.
The Sirdon got to the point where he was enraged once again, and then flew in to attack Aurelia.
\"Moons\' hail shower!\" Aurelia, on reflex, called out her first attack without even thinking of how she managed to know that move.
It was almost as an inter-dimensional portal opened in front of Aurelia\'s fist as she pointed her fist at the Sirdon.
There was a circular ripple in the air, a flash of light as more than a few dozen of large, colored glowing rocks and lasers shot out of the portal-like thing.
The creature was pelted by this attack, most of it damaging his wings and grazing his scales.
The Sirdon roared in pain, as he spiraled downwards the ground like a duck that just got shot. It crashed into the ground with a loud thud... and for a moment, everyone looking on thought the Sirdon was dead.
Then with a few groans, it got up. It stood up on it bird-like legs, hopping around as seeing both of its\' wings were too damaged now to even fly.
Aurelia landed on her own feet once again, in front of the Sirdon.
\"Ha ki to SAILOR wa\'onarai ow ur\'eia sphero, Sailor Aurora! Lo de mal\'ra dear myou, Sirdon, satu ha ma re banto! {I am the Sailor Warrior of this planet, Sailor Aurora! If you value your life, Sirdon, serve me as my servant!}\" Aurelia yelled out, in the Aurorean tongue.
It was this very moment that made Aurelia an new Aurorean legend for many months to come afterwards, although nobody could agree on whenever the Sirdon actually understood the words that Aurelia had said, or if it was only merely it injures that made it submit to the princess\'s will.
For the Sirdon had then bowed his head; a signal that his spirit was now tamed, and that Aurelia could bend his will as she desired.
He did not even struggle as Aurelia gently climbed on his back, taking care not to touch the injured wings. The new sailor warrior patted the Sirdon\'s neck... and murmured her approval at the behavior that it had now.
It was then that the onlookers started cheering, their respect for the princess increased a thousand-fold.
\"Lali Aurelia! Lali Aurelia! {Hail Aurelia!}\" The crowd chanted, as they kept on pounding their chest and then throwing their hands out into the Aurorean salute (which was basically the middle fingers held down by the thumb, so that the index and pinky fingers was the only fingers facing up).
Behind the large crowd, the Royal Guard was seething with fury. He had never wanted it to be like this! Now, the traitorous bitch actually had nearly everyone outside practically worshipping her. It was not just fair... that power should had belonged to his beloved prince, instead of some so-called princess who actually murdered people without any remorse at all.
He was going to have to find some other ways to kill her without being caught. With that dark thought in his head, he stomped out.
~~~~***~~~~~~~~***~~~~~
It was now nighttime and the Royal guard were now writhing in his sleep.
He was dreaming that he was in the prince\'s bedroom, and that the prince had somehow came back to life completely.
The guard hugged the young teenager to his chest, sobbing heavily.
\"By the gods, how I\'ve missed you...\" The guard replied, kissing the prince\'s forehead. The prince\'s violet eyes looked up at the royal guard with so much love that the Royal Guard felt that he had to be in heaven, because it was just all way too good to be true at all.
The prince suddenly pulled the guard close to him, and then kissed him deeply. Normally the royal guard would have put up a feeble attempt to tell him to stop it, but not this time. Since he now knew what he was missing. Even if there was a possibility that it all was just a dream, he was not going to stop him this time.
Prince Parie noticed this, for he happily pushed him towards the bed.
\"I\'m so happy, you really do love me... I have always loved you, I was just too afraid to say it aloud. I have always had to settle just for falling asleep in your arms. But not this time.\"
The younger male was now practically ripping the clothes off the Royal Guard, climbing on top of him.
The older male kissed back with equal passion, his hands caressing everywhere... loosening a few buttons here and there.
In addition, less in one minute, both of them were already naked and rubbing up against each other.
\"My god, how I\'ve always wanted you...\" The royal guard gasped out, when he finally broke the lip contact for some air.
The Prince started sobbing.
\"What\'s wrong?\" The Guard asked, alarmed.
\"I was just thinking that it\'s not fair... that we can\'t be together like this for real. Curse my sister for killing me... And it seems that my time is up.\" The prince said, just as he vanished.
\"Parie!\" He cried out, trying to hold on to him but in vain.
It was then that there was loud laughter echoing in the room.
The Royal Guard spun around. \"Who\'s there?\"
\"It seems that you want to avenge your prince... But we can offer you something even better...\" The voice echoed, sounding as if there was a million people speaking all at once, saying the same thing.
\"Who are you, I ask again. And what would you possibly have what I want?\"
\"We are the darkness in everyone... and we are offering you a chance to kill the princess, and a way to bring the prince back to life. Do you accept?\"
It was then the royal guard realized something. \"You\'re the enemy who threatens the very Aurorean way! I heard rumors that you people were telepathic... but I was not sure if it was true... Why should I accept such a deal from you, when you want to make us Auroreans extinct?\"
The many voices laughed once again. And it was as if The guard\'s mind was overwhelmed with such pain like he couldn\'t even describe.
\"Let us put it this way... If you accept, you shall have the power to at give the Aurorean race some hope of survival, even if the planet might be gone. That pain you feel, is what shall happen to every Aurorean anyway if you refuse for the sake of your so-called honor.\"
Moreover, with that, it was as if the royal guard was watching a mowatcwatching the mauve-purplish planet from outer space.
He saw the dark forces come, and the Auroreans coming from the planet inrms rms inside the sheath fliers, chanting the Aurorean War chant.
The Auroreans gave it all they could, but in vain... for the dark forces still did it almost effortlessly... and from a distance, it was almost as if they were literally covering the whole planet in darkness.
The whole Aurorean Solar system disappeared in a flash of light... and all that remained was the dark forces themselves.
\"NO!!\" The Royal Guard screamed.
The voices, which obviously belonged to the Kingdom of Darkness, Planet Aurora\'s most dreaded enemy itself, laughed at the Royal Guard\'s outburst.
\"As you can see, we are actually being very charitable by giving you a chance to at least save your own people from extinction... to give you the power to kill off the princess and bring back the prince using the princess\'s soul as an sacrifice to us. You shall have more power than you shall ever had imagined...\"
\"What kind of choice is that?!\" The royal guard said angrily. \"You\'re saying that if I refuse, the whole Aurorean race dies because I kept my honor and my royalty to the family. But if I accept, I become a traitor of the royal family and my people just so that I could bring my love back to life?\"
\"No, We are saying that if Aurelia lives, she shall lead the whole race to their own deaths...for she has such delicious darkness inside herself, it is so delicious. The more darkness there is in her, the more it feeds us. If you accept, you shall be giving us her soul... in trade for your beloved prince\'s life. You shall also have a part of our own powers, to save the rest of your people, who you deem honorable enough to escape with their lives when we come to shallow your planet up.\"
\"You must be the devil... it\'s the only explanation.\" The Royal Guard muttered, for the voices seemed to be taking on a hypnotizing effect, making him actually want to believe them... oh, how he wanted so badly to say yes.
The voices laughed mockingly. \"We might be the devil, and we do not care what you call us. We shall give you some time to think it over... call out to us if you accept. We shall come, for it will be no dream.\"
With that, it was as if he was falling into the darkness all of a sudden.
The Royal Guard woke up with a start, and found himself back in his own bedroom.
He wasnsuresure if it had been a dream or not, for it had seemed so real...
This was almost a filler chapter... expect for the last part with the dream.
The trainee shook with fear, unable to move at all. He was too scared to think at all, now that the Sirdon was free. This turned out to be fatal for him, since the Sirdon\'s mouth clamped down on him... venom pumping into the small body. Sirdon then tossed him aside...
The trainee flew across the room. Then la fac face down, for he was now dead. The venom might not have killed him instantly... However, the giant fang that went though his heart had done it.
The other Trainees then ran out of the path of the Sirdon... for they valued their life more than they did bravery and honor at this moment.
The Sirdon gave one last violent lurch, trying to shake Aurelia off. It was then that the Sirdon saw the big window, and then ran towards it.
Everyone let out alarmed cries when they realized what the Sirdon was up to, but it was already too late.
There was a loud shattering noise of the glass-like substance, as the Sirdon took to the sky. This had caused half of Aurelia\'s clothes to be torn away, and she was scratched very badly.
However, She still stubbornly held on, determined to tame this beast or else. She felt so alive than she had experienced before. It was like a type of deadly thrill, which she could not even get enough of at all. After all, taming this beast had now become a matter of life or death.
Everyone rushed outside, to watch the deadly spectacle.
The Sirdon\'s blue wings spread wide open, as it flew into a fast circle to attempt to shake the princess off.
It then broke the circle, and started flying erratically as Aurelia was now using her arm strength to pull Sirdon\'s head back into an arm-lock. The The Sirdon spun in the air, and it was then that gravity got the best of Aurelia here.
As much as she held on with all her strength, Sirdon\'s feather-like, warm scales caused her to lose her sweaty grip.
Aurelia gasped, as she realized that the ground was above her head, and the sky at her feet. She was falling headfi At At this rate, she would die... unless she did something.
She felt a rush of energy flow though her body suddenly, and then she smiled to herself. It seemed as if the Aurorean Hari she had with her was now kicking in, and working for her.
Without wasting any time, she called out: \"Aurora sphero pawa! {Aurora Planet Power!}\"
She was then engulfed in a bright light, and she could feel even more power surging though her body, nearly overpowering her like a tidal wave.
Her body also felt very lightweight, as if she now weighted nothing more than a feather.
Then she felt something body tight cover all her privates, like a silken fabric, that was forming itself on her body.
It was then covered by a light, metal-like armor on her upper body, mostly around her shoulders and chest.
The same happened with her feet and hands, and then the light disappeared.
She was now dressed in a body tight, foreign-looking fighting uniform, which to most present-day earthlings would have looked like a feminine sailor suit, but with a weird twist. For one thing, it seemed to be a two-piece uniform, with only ribbons connecting both the top and the skirt together.
She wore fingerless gloves, and a mask.
Aurelia, now in her Sailor warrior form, twisted in the air... and as she got towards the ground, she actually managed to land right on her own feet!
She then wasted no time in jumping up into the air, towards the Sirdon that was now flying away.
Before, she would had only managed to get high enough to go over a first story building... since that was the normal strength of an trained Aurorean... but now it was as if she was actually flying.
It looked and felt as if she was flying, instead of merely using her super powered legs to jump to super impressive heights.
God, She loved the power... it was worth the trouble of killing her own brother, and having to deal with the stupid nightmares!
This was what it was like to be a true sailor warrior.
The Sirdon hissed in surprise when he saw the princess, now somehow different... seeming as if she was flying fast right at him! Even though she had no wings at all any that, he could see.
The creature got the wind knocked out of him when the new sailor warrior formed her hands into fists, and pretty much landed flying fists around his stomach area.
The Sirdon got to the point where he was enraged once again, and then flew in to attack Aurelia.
\"Moons\' hail shower!\" Aurelia, on reflex, called out her first attack without even thinking of how she managed to know that move.
It was almost as an inter-dimensional portal opened in front of Aurelia\'s fist as she pointed her fist at the Sirdon.
There was a circular ripple in the air, a flash of light as more than a few dozen of large, colored glowing rocks and lasers shot out of the portal-like thing.
The creature was pelted by this attack, most of it damaging his wings and grazing his scales.
The Sirdon roared in pain, as he spiraled downwards the ground like a duck that just got shot. It crashed into the ground with a loud thud... and for a moment, everyone looking on thought the Sirdon was dead.
Then with a few groans, it got up. It stood up on it bird-like legs, hopping around as seeing both of its\' wings were too damaged now to even fly.
Aurelia landed on her own feet once again, in front of the Sirdon.
\"Ha ki to SAILOR wa\'onarai ow ur\'eia sphero, Sailor Aurora! Lo de mal\'ra dear myou, Sirdon, satu ha ma re banto! {I am the Sailor Warrior of this planet, Sailor Aurora! If you value your life, Sirdon, serve me as my servant!}\" Aurelia yelled out, in the Aurorean tongue.
It was this very moment that made Aurelia an new Aurorean legend for many months to come afterwards, although nobody could agree on whenever the Sirdon actually understood the words that Aurelia had said, or if it was only merely it injures that made it submit to the princess\'s will.
For the Sirdon had then bowed his head; a signal that his spirit was now tamed, and that Aurelia could bend his will as she desired.
He did not even struggle as Aurelia gently climbed on his back, taking care not to touch the injured wings. The new sailor warrior patted the Sirdon\'s neck... and murmured her approval at the behavior that it had now.
It was then that the onlookers started cheering, their respect for the princess increased a thousand-fold.
\"Lali Aurelia! Lali Aurelia! {Hail Aurelia!}\" The crowd chanted, as they kept on pounding their chest and then throwing their hands out into the Aurorean salute (which was basically the middle fingers held down by the thumb, so that the index and pinky fingers was the only fingers facing up).
Behind the large crowd, the Royal Guard was seething with fury. He had never wanted it to be like this! Now, the traitorous bitch actually had nearly everyone outside practically worshipping her. It was not just fair... that power should had belonged to his beloved prince, instead of some so-called princess who actually murdered people without any remorse at all.
He was going to have to find some other ways to kill her without being caught. With that dark thought in his head, he stomped out.
~~~~***~~~~~~~~***~~~~~
It was now nighttime and the Royal guard were now writhing in his sleep.
He was dreaming that he was in the prince\'s bedroom, and that the prince had somehow came back to life completely.
The guard hugged the young teenager to his chest, sobbing heavily.
\"By the gods, how I\'ve missed you...\" The guard replied, kissing the prince\'s forehead. The prince\'s violet eyes looked up at the royal guard with so much love that the Royal Guard felt that he had to be in heaven, because it was just all way too good to be true at all.
The prince suddenly pulled the guard close to him, and then kissed him deeply. Normally the royal guard would have put up a feeble attempt to tell him to stop it, but not this time. Since he now knew what he was missing. Even if there was a possibility that it all was just a dream, he was not going to stop him this time.
Prince Parie noticed this, for he happily pushed him towards the bed.
\"I\'m so happy, you really do love me... I have always loved you, I was just too afraid to say it aloud. I have always had to settle just for falling asleep in your arms. But not this time.\"
The younger male was now practically ripping the clothes off the Royal Guard, climbing on top of him.
The older male kissed back with equal passion, his hands caressing everywhere... loosening a few buttons here and there.
In addition, less in one minute, both of them were already naked and rubbing up against each other.
\"My god, how I\'ve always wanted you...\" The royal guard gasped out, when he finally broke the lip contact for some air.
The Prince started sobbing.
\"What\'s wrong?\" The Guard asked, alarmed.
\"I was just thinking that it\'s not fair... that we can\'t be together like this for real. Curse my sister for killing me... And it seems that my time is up.\" The prince said, just as he vanished.
\"Parie!\" He cried out, trying to hold on to him but in vain.
It was then that there was loud laughter echoing in the room.
The Royal Guard spun around. \"Who\'s there?\"
\"It seems that you want to avenge your prince... But we can offer you something even better...\" The voice echoed, sounding as if there was a million people speaking all at once, saying the same thing.
\"Who are you, I ask again. And what would you possibly have what I want?\"
\"We are the darkness in everyone... and we are offering you a chance to kill the princess, and a way to bring the prince back to life. Do you accept?\"
It was then the royal guard realized something. \"You\'re the enemy who threatens the very Aurorean way! I heard rumors that you people were telepathic... but I was not sure if it was true... Why should I accept such a deal from you, when you want to make us Auroreans extinct?\"
The many voices laughed once again. And it was as if The guard\'s mind was overwhelmed with such pain like he couldn\'t even describe.
\"Let us put it this way... If you accept, you shall have the power to at give the Aurorean race some hope of survival, even if the planet might be gone. That pain you feel, is what shall happen to every Aurorean anyway if you refuse for the sake of your so-called honor.\"
Moreover, with that, it was as if the royal guard was watching a mowatcwatching the mauve-purplish planet from outer space.
He saw the dark forces come, and the Auroreans coming from the planet inrms rms inside the sheath fliers, chanting the Aurorean War chant.
The Auroreans gave it all they could, but in vain... for the dark forces still did it almost effortlessly... and from a distance, it was almost as if they were literally covering the whole planet in darkness.
The whole Aurorean Solar system disappeared in a flash of light... and all that remained was the dark forces themselves.
\"NO!!\" The Royal Guard screamed.
The voices, which obviously belonged to the Kingdom of Darkness, Planet Aurora\'s most dreaded enemy itself, laughed at the Royal Guard\'s outburst.
\"As you can see, we are actually being very charitable by giving you a chance to at least save your own people from extinction... to give you the power to kill off the princess and bring back the prince using the princess\'s soul as an sacrifice to us. You shall have more power than you shall ever had imagined...\"
\"What kind of choice is that?!\" The royal guard said angrily. \"You\'re saying that if I refuse, the whole Aurorean race dies because I kept my honor and my royalty to the family. But if I accept, I become a traitor of the royal family and my people just so that I could bring my love back to life?\"
\"No, We are saying that if Aurelia lives, she shall lead the whole race to their own deaths...for she has such delicious darkness inside herself, it is so delicious. The more darkness there is in her, the more it feeds us. If you accept, you shall be giving us her soul... in trade for your beloved prince\'s life. You shall also have a part of our own powers, to save the rest of your people, who you deem honorable enough to escape with their lives when we come to shallow your planet up.\"
\"You must be the devil... it\'s the only explanation.\" The Royal Guard muttered, for the voices seemed to be taking on a hypnotizing effect, making him actually want to believe them... oh, how he wanted so badly to say yes.
The voices laughed mockingly. \"We might be the devil, and we do not care what you call us. We shall give you some time to think it over... call out to us if you accept. We shall come, for it will be no dream.\"
With that, it was as if he was falling into the darkness all of a sudden.
The Royal Guard woke up with a start, and found himself back in his own bedroom.
He wasnsuresure if it had been a dream or not, for it had seemed so real...
