What is a Zeitgeist?
It just hit me I should explain this --- for those that have not had or do not remember philosophy class.
It comes from Modern Philosophy, one of the German philosophers. His name escapes me, but it begins with an M (if I remember correctly).
It is a part of the thesis / antithesis idea. The cyclic nature of thesis and antithesis (one destined to become the other), the cyclic nature of the two pieces of the dichotomy build up an “energy” as they propel through eternity. That “energy” or momentum is zeitgeist. Thus, the black orb from Ni is a zeitgeist orb. This particular zeitgeist is propelling toward death.
This is why they get along and have a little fun when they first get there…their antithesis.
They way I see it is the energetic Goku has the antithesis of lethargy.
Hakkai’s antithesis is freedom. After all Hakkai is not Hakkai without being chained to his past.
Sanzo’s antithesis is himself. He’s one serious head-case. Therapy --- NOW
