Chapter 4: I\'ll Be Here

As he headed home, he passed by Rukawa\'s apartment. He was that the lights were on and the door was open.

Sa: There really is something wrong with this guy...

He decided to have a one on one talk with Rukawa. He didn\'t like what was happening, and he thought that maybe Rukawa didn\'t like it too.
He knocked on the door, but no one responded. He knocked again but no one still responded.

Sa: I guess he\'s not here or maybe he\'s sleeping... I\'ll talk to him tomorrow. He was about to leave when he heard a voice from the upstairs room of his apartment.

Ru: Sakuragi?

He looked up and saw Rukawa looking down from his window.

Sa: /I think I woke him up from his sleep... I better go, this isn\'t such a good time after all.../

Without responding he took one step off the porch.

Ru: Wait, don\'t go.

Sakuragi could\'nt believe his ears. He turned back and saw Rukawa right in front of him.

Sa: I better go.. I uh.. might be disturbing you...
Ru: Please.. stay...
Sa: Uh... tell me what\'s wrong with you first!
Ru: I\'ll tell you if you stay.
Sa: Okay then, but you promise to tell me.
Ru: I promise.

Rukawa ushered him inside his apartment. They went upstairs to his room. Sakuragi looked a few looks around and sat on the bed beside Rukawa.

Sa: So tell me whats wrong.
Ru: This.

Rukawa reached for the book on the far end of his bed. He handed it over to Sakuragi.
Sakuragi\'s eyes widened. He couldn\'t believe that Rukawa was affected by a book.. a mere book. Then he looked at the title. The more his eyes widened.

Ru: I know... this is stupid but...
Sa: Stupid?! This is absurd!

Sakuragi looked at Rukawa. Rukawa didn\'t look at him. Rukawa hung his head down as he spoke.

Ru: I don\'t know what\'s happening anymore... I\'m so lost... I know Your not the right person to tell you this, but I feel so alone.. so unloved.. I\'m so sick of it. I know I\'ve been staring at you and... I ... I...

Before he could finish his sentence. Sakuragi wrapped his strong arms around Rukawa\'s tender and toned body. He didn\'t know why he hugged him, but he felt that he was supposed to. It felt right.. so right.

Sa: Hush... I\'m here... I\'ll help you...

He didn\'t know what to say to the heartbroken boy. He didn\'t know why he was here, hugging someone he had hated. Rukawa lifted his arms and hugged Sakuragi back. They sat there, hugging each other. Sharing the pain and sufferings. They both did not know why, why they were together.

Ru: Sakuragi.... why do you even care?
Sa: I don\'t know, when I saw your eyes, they were so gentle, so needy... I... I felt something but I don\'t know exactly what. But I\'m here... I\'ll help you...
Ru: I just want someone.... I\'m tired of being so alone... I... I just want...
Sa: I love you.

Rukawa let go of his hug. He stared looked at Sakuragi with a shocked and stern face.

Ru: You liar. Your just taking advantage of me... you don\'t love me, you wanna make fun of me...
Sa: Rukawa, I swear from the deepest part of my heart that I\'m willing to love you. I\'ll do anything for you... I\'m just like you, I need love. We can love each other, we can be one... if you let me...

Rukawa didn\'t reply. He thought about being loved and getting hurt. He thought hard, then stared at Sakuragi who was still staring at him. He didn\'t know what to do. He wanted love, but he had to take the risk. Even for once, at least he would know how it felt to be really loved...

Ru: I love you too...

Rukawa leaned forward and kissed Sakuragi passionately. Their tounges intertwined and danced all over. Sakuragi worked his hand to Rukawa\'s chest and broke the kiss.

Sa: Always remember that Im here... In your heart.

They hugged, this time for real. They were comfortable in each others arms... their loving arms.
