“C’mon! Do this with me, please? It doesn’t work if I don’t have someone to do it with!” Shuichi pleaded with his eyes, while repeatedly raising up on the balls of his feet, bouncing in place.
“If I do it will you finally leave me alone?”
“I promise.” Shuichi grinned, holding up the loop of string and quickly threading his fingers through.
“What is this again, freak?”
“It’s ‘cat’s cradle’ – you seriously never did this as a kid?” Shuichi looked at him in disbelief, holding the web he’d created between his hands towards Yuki.
“No – but then again I wasn’t in the retard class.”
“Yuki! You’re such a bastard.”
“Yup. C’mon, let’s do this so I can get back to work.” Yuki’s voice was laced with annoyance, despite the fact that his curiosity had been piqued. Shuichi held out his hands, trying to explain to Yuki how he needed to remove the string, gesturing with his chin and wiggling his fingers to no avail.
“Alright, freak, this is stupid. I’ll be in my office-“
“Wait! C’mon Yuki … “ Shuichi pleaded, removing his hands from the tangle and handing it to Yuki. “Why don’t you start it, and I’ll show you – it’s fun!”
Shuichi showed Yuki how to thread it onto his hands, helping him create the perfect cradle. When he had it done right, Yuki held out his hands and motioned impatiently for Shuichi to continue. Yuki watched with contained curiosity as Shuichi pinched the two Xs of string and pulled them under and through, creating another skillfully designed web. Before he could comment, Shuichi leaned forward and stole a kiss, pulling back with a grin before Yuki could respond. “See how easy it is? Now pinch those two Xs together and pull them around and under.”
Yuki tried, quickly getting frustrated – pulling the string free from Shuichi’s hands and balling it in his fist. Shuichi laughed at Yuki’s annoyance, unable to resist. “And I’m the retard?”
Yuki smirked evilly, untangling the loop of string and holding it between his hands. Pouncing before Shuichi could respond, Yuki quickly bound his lover’s wrists together and slung him over his shoulder, heading towards the bedroom.
“You’re right, this is fun.”
