Warning:None for Now
Author’s NoteThis is a different story and it’s placed in I suppose a future that I’ve created. I said to myself, “What if” and began. I started to work with a story where I decided something big happened to Kaidoh to change him and we’re going to find out what.

Please join me on that journey.

Dozo.

Weekend’s End

Kaidoh just sort of stayed away from Akutsu after what happened after the couch...or at least it seemed like that was what was going on before Akutsu would grab him or pin him to the wall. It was never much. A hard kiss or a quick feel or something that should have been quick that wound up lasting longer because Kaidoh didn’t want to let go.

It had been a long time for him and though Akutsu wasn’t exactly affectionate, he’d kiss with him until he got fed up and left him alone or shoved him away.

It made him laugh a little but he didn’t push it. He’d just hiss in return or get up to go to the room.

Akutsu still didn’t sleep in the bedroom.

Yet.

They hadn’t done that.

Yet.

And now they were enjoying another weekend. Well, the end of one anyway. Kaidoh knew it was better for him to go to bed early so he could be fully awake when he headed off to work, but they were watching tv again.

Well, fighting over tv.

“That shit is stupid, understand? Why in the fuck wouldn’t she kill him?”

“She didn’t killed him!” he hissed and snatched the remote. “Look at the facts Yarou!”

“There are no facts. If someone cheated on me, I’d get my justice!” Akutsu lit a cigarette, offering it to Kaidoh who took it. Akutsu then lit another for himself. “And even if she didn’t do it directly, she hired someone.”

“Fwshuuuu...”

“Don’t you ‘fwshuuu’ me asshole. Sounds like you got a story to tell.” he blew some smoke and looked at Kaidoh who was scowling. That wasn’t too odd. But he was scowling moodily this time.

“Kaidoh?”

“Fuck you.” he got up and Akutsu caught his wrist and yanked him back down.

“No. What?”

Kaidoh just sat there and Akutsu took his cigarette and put it out. “Now. Talk.”

“Everything isn’t black and white. You’re a fucking idiot.” Kaidoh watched the tv for a second and smoothed his shorts. “You know Seigaku?”

“What? The rest of the fucks on that sorry middle school team or the sorry highschool one?”

“We beat Yamabuki.”

“Whatever. Now what?”

Kaidoh hissed softly then began. “I used to go out with Inui -.”

“Aw not that Data punk -.”

“Shut your mouth. I’m talking!” he shoved Akutsu. “You’re rude!”

“You’re a slow talker!”

They glared at each other and Kaidoh continued. “I went out with him for a while. A long time. Till high school.”

“And he broke your heart boo-hoo, what?”

Kaidoh just shook his head. “You’re a bastard...” he said softly.

Akutsu leaned back and put his feet up, throwing one arm on the back of the couch, around Kaidoh’s neck, bringing him close. “Shut up.”

The amber eyed man looked down at Kaidoh. “What?”

“Nothing. I caught him with someone else. And instead of protesting like I should have I just let it go. I stood there while he told me all this crap about how it wasn’t going to work out anyway, something about how the percentage of his enjoyment went down every time we fucked and that his compatibility rating with this other person was higher. And that the sex was more fulfilling. And then he totally cut me out of everything. He ignored me. I didn’t exist at all. I even tried to talk to him once, just to say hello, I was polite. As always. And he just pretended he saw someone behind me and walked off. Even worse was, when it came to choosing who would be on regulars, he purposely submitted ‘data’ as to why someone else was better than me, just so I wouldn’t be on the team. Just so it wouldn’t be awkward for him.”

“So you quit tennis because of an asshole?”

“That and I couldn’t stand having Momoshiro think he was better than me.”

Akutsu rolled his eyes. “So what?”

Kaidoh didn’t say anything, he just closed his eyes as the burn came back. It’d been years. Four years. And he still felt hurt. Why the fuck would someone do that to you when they claimed they loved you?

“Kaidoh!”

“What?” he said, staring at the coffee table.

“I said, let’s go to sleep. I got shit to do tomorrow.”

Kaidoh got up, shoving the other boy away and ran his hand through his hair, going for the bedroom. He looked over his shoulder briefly as Akutsu followed him and he ignored it. He could sleep here if he wanted to.

He took off his shirt and shorts, getting into bed and setting his alarm. Akutsu followed suit, pulling him close and pulling his boxers down. He didn’t think much of when Akutsu produced a tube of lubrication and started in on him.

It felt good, he knew that much but he couldn’t look at him. He didn’t want to. His chest hurt and when it began he just started crying. Not out loud, he still had too much pride for that shit.

The space between them grew heated and Kaidoh moaned through his tears, reaching completion as Akutsu slammed into him and came.

A single kiss hadn’t passed between them and when they were finished, he pulled out of him and rolled over.

Kaidoh didn’t mind this. He got up and went to go shower. When he came back, Akutsu was asleep. He wanted it that way. He got back in bed and turned the other way, falling into sleep.

In the morning, Kaidoh flinched awake. The clock said seven sixteen. The grey light of near dawn was filtering in and he could hear Akutsu rummaging around somewhere. He got up and put on a shirt, kicking at Akutsu’s dirty boxers on the floor. He snatched them up and went into the living room. He threw them on the couch.

“Pick your shit up Akutsu!”

In the kitchen, Akutsu muttered some obscenity and shook the skillet. The omelette flopped up and out, landing back in the pan.

“Fuck yourself!” Kaidoh retorted, hating how his voice sounded in the morning. He went to the fridge and got water, grunting in protest when Akutsu smacked his rear and put plates on the table.

He ignored him and went to go shower. He was up too early.

Kaidoh was tired. He was barely watching the news. Next to him, Akutsu was flexing his muscles again, cursing that he was sore.

“Then get another job...” he yawned, frowning when the tube of ointment was waved in front of him. “That shit stinks.”

“What’s the matter Mamushi? Don’t like aloe smell?”

“I don’t like any smells!” he was more awake now. “I said to get the kind that doesn’t stink!”

Akutsu leaned close to him, rumbling in his ear. “I don’t think you’d care if I used it when I fucked you.”

Kaidoh turned red but pushed him away. “I said get the fuck off!”

Akutsu grabbed him. “Don’t tell me what to do. Come here.”

“Akutsu!”

The other man kissed his neck, holding his wrists firm as he struggled.

“Akutsu!” Kaidoh protested. “What the fuck...get off!” His protests got less and less vehement as Akutsu continued, his struggles ceasing.

“Ahn! Jin! Don’t put that -.”

“Urusai!” he growled against his skin.

Later, Kaidoh shifted under Akutsu. The couch was not a place for two people to sleep. He was tired but Akutsu was heavy.

“Akutsu?”

“Hnnn...”

“I said get up you asshole! I’m going to bed!”

Akutsu sat up and Kaidoh slipped from under him, grabbing the pillow to hide himself and walking off to the bedroom. He got a towel and headed for the shower, cursing when he saw it was occupied. He went after the other man, not surprised to already see him laid out in bed when he got there.

Kaidoh looked through his mail, jerking his head away when Akutsu started to kiss him. It was a game between them. He didn’t mind. It was another weekend, so he could afford it.

He saw one letter written in careful, beautiful written hirigana and he opened it. He quickly looked to the end to see who it was from, shocked to see, “Fuji Syuusuke”. He began to read the letter then, wondering what was going on.

“Kaidoh, how I wish I could have contacted you under better circumstances...”

Akutsu noticed there was a lag in their game when he landed a kiss and was ignored. “Mamushi?”

Kaidoh looked at him. “Ryuzaki-sensei is dead. Her funeral is soon.”

“Hn. Wonder if that bastard Banji will be there...” Akutsu grabbed a pack and offered Kaidoh a smoke. He shook his head and Akutsu snatched the letter, reading it as well.

“Going to speak?”

Kaidoh shrugged. “I might.”

“All the regulars, past and present huh? Great. I’ll get a nice quiet sleep for once.”

“Fuck you...” Kaidoh muttered.

“Death happens.”

“Still. Fuck you.”

Akutsu smirked and tried to kiss Kaidoh.

He ducked his head.

*Ahhh...a funeral. Who will Kaidoh see there and will he take our favorite Akuma?
*I like this story....
